Breach of contract
They are not following what is in the contract for their employees, like for the working VISA. They should be the one to shoulder it for the OFW from the Philippines but they are deducting it on the first months salary of their employees. They make their employees work for 12-16 hours per day but they dont pay their overtime even though in the contract it says that overtime after 8 hours should be paid by the company. They dont give the time card to the employees so that theres no evidence that they worked overtime without pay. They dont give the last pay of some of their employees and cancels the contract without any definite reason or explanation. Very bad company

My complaint is against the third level robber working in Byblos hospitality.
His name is Lloyd Dsouza he was a cheat and robber of his area. He was also reported for theft in the place he was born and raised Sahar village.
Equally third grade level is his mother she is a cheat and robber just like him. They have robbed and earned money through lot of false means
The most rotten of them is his sister Rachel a born and raised [censored]. She has dirty habit of surrounding self with guys and inciting or encouraging them against others. She goes around gathering information about other. She has robbed many people from her office. What she and her mother is doing is like a form of prostitutions.
They go around gathering other people gossip to blackmail or use them for their profit.
Lloyd sister Rachel is such a [censored] she has 13, 14 year old guys on her call. She uses them to get information about other people to use and harass others for their personal need.
Kick out dirty Lloyd Dsouza and his third grade family from your office. His sister Rachel the rascal [censored] has married a hindu going around saying she is unmarried. To make others like her and her prostitute mom.
staff abuse
They keep the passport of their employees and whenever the employees ask to get their passport for whatever purpose like vacation they ask [protected] aed as a deposit for them to be sure that we will come back. They are threaten of us not coming back to work on their company again cause they know for the fact that they dont treat their employees good especially Asians. I experienced it myself when i asked for a vacation they did allow me yes yet the night before my flight they just dont wanna give my passport unless i deposit 5000dirhams. No other option that was left for me so i called the police and they terminated me without giving my last salary. They are so racist!

Staff Abuse
Byblos Hotel are bullying and mis-treating staff for a long time and I want to stop this once and for all. When staff work for the Group they are not treated properly and when they resign they are threatened with bans (Even when out of contract) and there Gratuities are generally stopped. They Bully mostly asian staff as they know they are scared to defend themselves. Anybody that has had this abuse please add to this and we can stop this for good.
Hi, we have had the same problems. My name is Jon and I recently married a Philippine National who worked at the Crown and Lion, Byblos Hotel called Loisa. After coming back from our Honeymoon they demanded Loisa's passport before she started work. I then attended a meeting with a Mr. Khan who insisted she hand over her passport or resign. During the meeting he kept leaning over the table saying give me your passport in a menacing manner to which I stepped in. He tried to bully us dramatically by even bringing in 4 of his managers who didn't get involved - I think they were there for intimidation but they shut up. This racisim and bullying will stop, I sympathise with everyone. Loisa (my wife) has resigned, she even recorded the 12 minute meeting on her phone which she is perfectly allowed to do by law. Now we have the bullying on tape! Hi Jon Despres, I was reading this article as I have my sister who just recently employed last November 28 2019 and she was experiencing mal treatment and abuse from time hours. She was hired from Philippines through Employment Agency in the Philippines wherein cannot be contacted anymore when she arrived Dubai. After one day, the company requested them to report on duty at 1:00 PM for the orientation where they sign a separate contract from the company with all T&Cs of which mostly unacceptable (where they have a signed copy) and another contract at 6:00 PM (which the company didn't provide a copy) - maybe this is their tactic the employees waited 5 hours to get them tired and just simply sign for a second without reviewing it so they can go home... PLS PLS we need your assistance and how I can you to discuss further...My sister just recently deliver a child on September and I am concerned on her health as they required to work on duty for 15 hrs with no day off for 2 months...
Even you finished 2 years, they will still ask for 3000 or 5000 AED; for the penalty.
If you refused to pay; they will create problem against you

I was one of the staff and I was bullied too. I resigned due to arising issues that the company doesn't give graduity to employees and at the same time im not comfortable working there anymore. I paid five thousand dirhams for breach of contract, done all my clearance. I was banned for 1 year too. The company did not release my passport and the HR named Mr. Naim said he cant make it to Sharjah airport. He said I wont be able to fly back home because my visa is in Dubai and they wont cancel it in Sharjah. I get all hysterical and went to the agency where I bought my ticket only to find out it was a bluff. Worst is when I called back he just laugh at me and cut the line. What he did is very inhuman. To Mr. Naim, HR in Byblos hospitality I hope this will help so you'll get worst than what you did. To Mr. David Glennon, thank you for the effort, care, and especially courage.
I was working 10 month in the moment when I gave my resignation letter. I paid 5000 aed and worked 1 more month notice period. And now this company still keep my passport and my salary. Even more, I cannot go home cause it is war in Ukraine now, I told them but they put for me block, like I run away... I try to meet up with owner of this hospitality but he don't want speak with me...
