Burger Kingmanager

Review updated:

On August 26, 2019, a female employee (colored) asked me to leave the premises if I wasn't buying any food due to using my laptop and Burger King's wifi network. I asked her if it was policy to buy before anyone can sit and use the wifi, she did not answer only to state Burger King is a business to make money which I reminded her that Burger King makes money every minute, period. Also, I acknowledged that if anyone is harassing customers, then she can ask them to leave which in my case I wasn't. I reminded her her attitude is called "racial profiling" because the facility is virtually empty, hardly any customers inside which if there were customers and place crowded, one could understand customers first. Also she turned of the wifi. Please address this policy because I have been to several Burger King premises where I actually purchased and sometimes never purchased and they never asked me to leave or buy to stay.

Racially profiling? You really are looking for reasons to be triggered, aren't you?

The restaurant and it's facilities are for paying customers. You did not fit that description. Furthermore, even if there is variation from location to location depending on franchising, she is under no obligation to explain to you anything other than "stay" or "go". You are obviously a racist for bringing anyone's demographic into the picture. Making some snarky comment about Burger King making money every minute is entirely predicated on the concept of the paying customer. Again, what you were not. When you are not a paying customer, you become a loiterer. Loiterers are tantamount to trespassers once they have been informed that they aren't allowed to be there. You are a self entitled freeloader who deserves little other than a boot in the ass out the door.

Please do the right thing and start planting trees immediately. This way you can you help mitigate and possibly break even with the amount of oxygen you have wasted in your miserable life.

    Hope that helps!

    Your friend,

Racism? This is not racism. You cannot go into a place of business and not buy anything. You cannot just use the companies wifi without buying anything. As stated above, this rule applies to EVERYONE. Racial profiling is making a certain rule to a certain race of people. Why do people automatically claim racial profiling when they do not get what they want? You were wrong. This is NOT racial profiling. Why not order a drink or something cheap? Order a coffee? Order a soda? I do not know what race you are but it must be a privilege to be your race. When you do not get what you want you can claim "racial profiling". I heard of white privilege, but for someone to be able to claim "racial" profiling, when they have to follow the same rules as the rest of the world, it must be a privilege to be that race. It has come to a point where if someone needs to tell you something you do not like, that they have to be the same race as you. Even then people have falsely claimed racial profiling.

PS. I have seen people asked to leave a place regardless of their race if they were loitering. This is what you were doing. You were basically loitering. You were not buying anything. You were just taking up space. Some Burger Kings, do not mind if if you do not buy anything. But my guess is that you do this frequently according to your review. They have every right to ask you to leave if you are not going to buy something. Many restaurants have a 30 minute limit on how long you can stay. How long were you using their wifi for? 10 minutes? Several hours? How often do you go in without buying something? Once a day? Once a week? Once a month? Some will leave you alone if it is a once in a while thing. Some will leave you alone if it is an everyday occurrence. But whether they ask you to leave the first time you used their wifi without buying a thing, or the 100th time, it is NOT racial profiling. You got lucky the other times, and if you were allowed in the past it is not racial profiling. The worst is that you actually accused her of racial profiling in front of others. You must have made yourself look foolish.

You go to use their WiFi and buy nothing, not even a drink. Free WiFi is for customers, not people who are too cheap to use their own WiFi. The “colored” woman asked you to leave so this is racial profiling . Were “colored” folks allowed to use the WiFi without a purchase?? A restaurant is for food and not just to use the free WiFi. A drink is a few bucks I imagine and you could have stayed all day long.
