Bradlows Furniture R100,000 approval and later declined

Dear Nathan I am conveying my deepest hurt that after more than 25 years of dealing with your holdings when it was still Morkels, we have to part this way when you declined offer after initially offering R100 000 offer on Saturday the 6th of June.
I have no choice but to cancel one of my investments but certainly not for your holdings. I would understand if I was at fault here. But I am being penalized for the person who admitted his fault before the Intuzuma Magistrate with court number 2747/16.

I am only taking this to Hello Peter and other sites and I know it won't help me. At least I have your name because I was going to hate Mlungisi in kwaMashu branch. You waisted my time asking for all documentation related to court that I was framed here and Mr Dlamini is responsible for the unpaid matter and he admitted in writing and before the court. I had never thought I would leave this brand this way.

Bradlows Furniture Avatar mk2 2 piece lounge suite

I am writing to you regarding reference number (no/2/2019/213/6371).

Information of the complaint:

1. During November 26, 2019 I purchased AVATAR MK2 3piece Lounge Suite cash worth R37 999.95 including delivery (invoice number [protected])
• On this day I was informed that someone from call centre will call to arrange delivery without any ref number but my invoice
• Indeed on the 27 November 2019 I received a call, telling me that they want to deliver the lounge
2. During November 28, 2019 the lounge was delivered around 18:00 PM(see delivery no [protected] attached.)
• After an 1 hour of delivery, I carefully inspected the Lounge Suites and found some defects.
• Upon seen these defects I took pictures (see pictures attached)
3. On the 29 November 2019, I went to the shop to complain about the defects
• On this day I talked to the Sales person, who referred me to the manager who handled my discount when I purchased the Lounge Suite
• The manager informed me that I must not worry he will send someone to come and collected the coach so that they can exchange them but I must wait for that person to call me.
• Note that the manager managed to see the photos on my phone
4. On the 02 December 2019, I did a follow up and I was told the following
• that the delivery team is very busy with delivery for other customers
• The manager requested me to be patient and promise that my matter will be resolved soon and I understood
5. Sometimes mid December 2019, I went back to the shop to do follow up.
• This time I found new manager (Onica) and The new manager told me that my case is not registered.
• The sales man tried to intervene to Justify my issue but we end up agreeing that they will send the lounge to repair instead of exchanging
6. Early January 2020, I received a call from one of Bradlows representative requesting to come to my house to inspect the Lounge Suite
• Upon his arrival at my house, He took some pictures and said someone will come and collect the Lounge suite
7. Month of January passed without any person coming to collect the lounge suites
8. On the 8 February 2020, I went back to the shop to do follow up.
•This time I demanded that they refund me money
•Upon making this demand, the manager made some few calls and we came to agreement that I should give her at least 7 working days to sort the issue because is handled outside her department
•I agreed to her request
9. On the 15 February 2020, the lounge was collected. (see attached collection document)
10. On the 25.03.2020, They returned the lounge suite without being fixed and I refuse to take it back.
11.To date I don't have the lounge suite that I bought.
Note following
1.Bradlows has infringed my rights to safe, good quality goods without any defects. This means that Bradlows failed to comply with section 55(2)(b) of the CPA.

Bradlows Furniture Product

I bought a lounge suite at Bradlows Springs and I was promised that if I buy for R9999 I will receive a certain percentage discount.But when I asked about my discount, I was told it was capped...okay fine I payed my products off and ask again I was told they dont have any knowledge of that.Now my lounge suite has'nt finished a second year, and the leather is peeling off and they need to be stuffed.Tell me spending lso much money thinking you buying quality.

Bradlows Furniture product complaint

I have purchased the attached recliners on credit. It is not even a year old and I have disputed that they are out of balance, it makes such a grinding roaring sound when rocked. The foam underneath bulges. The price that it is sold in store for is ridiculously high and when I compare the price I have to pay against the problems I am currently experiencing, I feel so depressed. The warranty can cover a minimum 5 years, so what happens thereafter? If there are problems experienced before a year of the contract, then this is worrying as to what would happen in the future years to come. I don't feel comfortable sitting on them as I want to maintain the structure it has. How does one feel comfortable then fearing that the recliner would just end up worse than the first time.

Bradlows Furniture sleep master bed

I bought a queen bed from the shop in Grahamstown for 7000. 3 weeks later the base broke, i went to the shop to report it they lodged a complaint with the supplier who promised to come and change the bed base within 7 working days. 7 days has come and gone all I get is excuses. While waiting for the bed base a mattress spring broke and is sharply protruding on the mattress. I went to the shop to report. I told them to either give me a descent bed or my money back.They refused and said the shop does not have a budget for damaged stock. Instead they lodged another complaint with the supplier. The same supplier who has not delivered the bed base. They said when the supplier delivers the base I must not use it I must wait for a new mattress only then will they refund me. Where am I supposed to sleep in the meantime.

Bradlows Furniture defy 323lt fridge / freezer combo unit with water dispenser - silver

Good Day.
I Purchased a Silver Defy 323 Lt Fridge / Freezer unit around the black Friday -2019. On the 14th of January i officially complained about the Water Dispenser that was not Functional. The Manager of the Store informed me that there service department has not opened as yet and she will communicate it with then ASAP. I made 2 more follow up attempts and all the manager told me is that she will contact the service department and contact me. Its the 28th to date and i had not heard from her since the last communication. All i need is for a technician to come out and attend to the breakdown and if not the the hole unit will need to be replaced.

Bradlows Furniture 3 piece cambridge couches

I bought Cambridge 3 piece couches from Bradlows Lichtenburg Branch in 2018 and have already returned them 3 times for repairs because they sell poor quality couches that in a years time they were already tearing up.When they returned after the third repairs they came back damaged instead of being repaired.I was promised a an exchange for new ones .But until now no help and I am stuck with damaged couches.Please help

Bradlows Furniture poor service

The poorest service I've ever came across my entire living life, i bought a bed it was never delivered, instead of bradlows staff calling to inform me about the delay it was me calling and running after them, 3 weeks passed and they still couldn't deliver, they told me that they still investigating as the bed had gone missing and it was said that my bed was delivered, i asked for proof which they couldn't give me, so i asked for refund which is said to be paid in 14 days. If it won't be paid im no longer saying a thing to them but I'll file a legal complain by filling it with my attorney and get mu story published and add with ones on their page to alert others so they won't have to experience what we currently experiencing

Bradlows Furniture leather couches for r32000

I recently bought leather couches for R32000 in Groblersdal and on delivery 2 couches where damaged n were returned and new staff was brought to my house, n thy only found my mum at home so I noticed the other couch was still. Not in good shape, but it was nothn serious so now the color of the leather is changing n we only use a cloth to dust thm we dnt apply anything so far. Am really disappointed in your products, am a 1st time buyer who is not happy. Am now not allowing my kids to set on them because I do not knw what will happen nxt

Bradlows Furniture tv stand

I recently bought a TV stand at Bradlows, collected the TV stand from their warehouse, only to find that the stand is broken when I got home. I lodged a complaint and got the reference number. I followed up several times and until now i was told that my case is finalized and they will not replace the stand. I never thought big furnitiure stores like Bradlows could give me problems but as they always say never trust anyone. Bad bad bad service from Bradlows, it was good to take my cash but never keep their promises. I will never buy anything ever from Bradlows.

Bradlows Furniture unhappy customer.

I bought sofas with Bradlows Secunda, and the delivered damaged sofas I made an instant complain in September at the branch, I was then told by the sales people from the branch that they have logged a query with the Head Office for the replacement for the damaged sofas. I then received a call from their call center saying they where sending a driver to collect the Sofas on Friday 20 September and on one showed up for collection. I then went to the branch on the beginning of October for a follow up then i was told the matter was out of their hands and they can do nothing about it. I was again called to the branch when the regional manager was at the branch he just showed me that he was busy with my complain but nothing have materialized.

Bradlows Furniture bed not delivered

Good day

I opened an account at bradlows southgate branch, everything was finalized on the 31st of October 2019. I bought a bed and a laptop. I went to fetch the laptop on the 1st of November and they said the bed will be delivered over the weekend or Monday. The bed is still not delivered and I have been calling the store since last week and they keep on saying that they will find out what's happening with the delivery and get back to me but no one has done that. I called on Monday again and I spoke to the store manager and he said that the bed was out of stock but no one told me that when I was buying the bed coz I could have picked another one. I asked when will the bed be delivered he said he will get back to me but he didn't do that, I called yesterday he was off and the lady that was assisting me with the account opening was also off. This is very frustrating and very pathetic, if I knew I was gonna get this kind of service I would not have opened that account. I want that bed delivered if not I am canceling that account and returning the laptop.

Bradlows Furniture misleading customers and false advertising

I've recently purchased a fridge from Bradlows on credit. The catalogue stated that the cost price of the fridge was R5000 however the credit would be just under R10000.
I agreed to it as I am aware that there would be interest charged.
The price was clearly stated on the fridge as well as the catalogue and the sales advisory processed my purchase and I was good to go and was advised that my contract would be sent to me upon delivery of the fridge.
A few weeks later I received a call from the collections department confirming my debit amounts and added that the payment period is for 36 months. Bearing in mind I was told by the sales advisor that it was for a period of 24 months (which was also stipulated on the fridge at the store and on the catalogue.
I then tried to call the store only to find that the number they provided doesn't work. So i eventually went back to the store to query this and the response by all the sales advisors was that at the bottom of the agreement it says 'terms and conditions'.
I was disgusted with that explanation firstly. Secondly when I asked why they advertised 24 months repayments yet they're charging me 36 months.. They then went on to say that it was to make my instalments more affordable. This didn't make sense as the instalments stipulated was R350 for 24 months yet I agreed to pay R442. 72 which was more than what the original payments supposed to be.
I now have to pay triple the amount for something that I wasn't even made aware of.
They were all so eager to get me to make a purchase however nobody wanted to assist when I queried their false advertisement.
I'm really appalled by their pathetic service and how they mislead people. Something needs to be done about this. These people are scam artists.

Bradlows Furniture furniture

I purchased furniture from you in good faith. Its been months where im back and forth as your furniture quality is not good. My bedroom suite looks like pathetic as doors are broken. Pls assist .
You staff are eager to assist when you bring in a sale. But aftercare service is pathetic. You sell poor quality furniture and staff that offer no help. Al just about making sales ans money. Let me know if i must come drop my broken furnuture at yout store and ask for a refund. As you sold rubbish to me

Bradlows Furniture worst ever service experience!!!

Look... Im going to put this very sweet and short, I do not want to upset myself any further!

The damn deal had been cancelled with bradlows benoni 1 year ago (december 2018). It is now almost december 2019 and they are still sitting with the r4000.00 which had been paid for the bed, which was cancelled due to lack of flippen service!

Bradlows I still "processing" the cancellation for over 1 year now!

Does it feel so good holding onto my money?... I want my full refund with immediate effect!

Start acting up professional!

What sense does it make for you people to not deliver my things if you say my phone was on voice mail in which it was not, I can't live a life if sitting at home waiting for you everyday cause of your lazy drivers not doing their job am so disappointed angry in every possible way now am again using my flipping airtime calling you people for what reason

Bradlows Furniture defy 18kg washing machine

I lodged a complaint regarding my Defy 18 kg washing machine 2 weeks ago aboyt the spinner making a terrible noise. Today is 28 Octnober 2019 and I have phoned the store manager, Jerry, numerous times and not a single feedback from anyone. This is very bad and irresponsible. How can a company trust someone in his position to run a store if he cannot handle a complaint.

Bradlows Furniture service

I went to Bradlows to purchase a TV stand and coffee table then I was told there will be delivered from a warehouse and told me the delivery fee, I responded that the delivery fee is too much for me can't I atleast take the ones that were there, and I was told that, that is not possible from there I then ask for a discount; that's when the manager started to shout at me asking me if she can come to my work and ask for discount why I am being unreasonable bradlows is not a tuck shop they're running business I must go somewhere else if want there's no discount I will get . She was shouting everyone at the table could hear her. I said it's fine I will go somewhere else that's when she stood up and said so you came here to fight, I said I'm not fighting with anyone if it's not possible it's fine you don't have to be this person. Bradlows Furniture bedroom suite/ cash back

Good day.

My name is Regina Xhekwa and I reside in Sada Whittlesea. My contact number is [protected] my alternative number is [protected]. I purchased a bedroom suite at Bradlows Queenstown, Cathcart Road and I was told that when it was delivered, R2000 cashback would be deposited into my account. The bedroom suite was delivered last month and till this day there has been no money deposited into my account. When I told them about this they said that I must wait because it usually takes about 72 Hours for the money to be processed but weeks have passed now and I still haven't received anything, please advise.
