After purchasing tickets for a play at a fairly ridiculous price, I agreed to purchase the tickets only to find that ticketsales.com was charging an additional $26 per ticket as a service charge. This is deceptive advertising and this practice should stop. The price listed on the website should reflect a total cost of the tickets including any additional exorbitant service charges that they wish to charge. I also was charged a delivery fee of $15 for tickets that I was told I would have to pick up at the theatre will call window. There was no delivery involved. This is beyond ridiculous. These people should not be in business. The same practices are being used by nearly all ticket suppliers. Why can't people go directly to the organization to purchase the tickets instead of a third party seller who is only out to gouge a buyer.

This writer (Allen Hill) purchased 2 paw patrol live tickets initially from online, but noticed that the tickets were excessive in price due to a 30% surcharge causing the ticket(s) to price to become $540 plus dollars instead of $398 dollars. This writer then called the phone number associated with the website to complete the purchasing process and instead of receiving the 30% surcharge I received a 9% surcharge which made my total $442 and change.

This writer obtained 2 seats. Note: The site or representative never mentioned anything about v.i.p packages but sent v.i.p seating tickets, giving the illusion that this writer and guest would have v.i.p accommodations.

Upon arrival this writer entered the v.i.p entrance and was directed towards seating.
This writer then noticed that v.i.p. passes were being issued to the first two rows of patrons. This writer spoke with the man issuing the passes and he stated that the first 2 rows only received such passes. This writer called the number located on the invoice of sale to dispute the disparity.

Upon calling the number this writer informed the receptionist of the issue and was placed on hold for several minutes. The receptionist couldn't answer my concerns and this writer became irate and insulted the receptionist then asked to speak with a supervisor.

This writer was placed on hold for several more minutes. Upon speaking with the supervisor this writer then explained previous concern as expressed to the receptionist she denied that this writer had v.i.p tickets, that only 2 standard tickets were purchased. During this exchange this writer became irate and insulted the supervisor and ended the call.

This writer called back a few hours later to address the issue again and spoke with a manager. The manager stated that I didn't purchase v.i.p all access tickets just v.i.p seating tickets. The manager stated that this writer didn't ask for v.i.p all access tickets, but I didn't ask for v.i.p seating but was granted that.

The site or the receptionist that did the ticket transaction never mentioned that seating v.i.p was included in the purchasing of the tickets or that v.i.p all access was different from the other or available either. This writer paid almost $200 dollars per ticket only to find out v.i.p access wasn't included, but v.i.p seating was. Then 2 days later the tickets dropped significantly in price for that section and for v.i.p all access not to be included was a robbery and totally ruined this writers young child experience.

This writer informed the manager of wanting to file a complaint concerning the issue. The manager then stated that he would be the one handling the issue and to expect a call back from him personally rendering the same results. Meaning nothing will happen because he could control how far this writers complaint went, even after this writer asked to speak with his superior.

This writer is requesting a partial refund for the inconvenience and lack of expertise displayed by members associated with such busniess.

I purchased tickets to Jeff Dunham that were seats being sold by a third party and not ticketmaster. The real fraud comes in when the invoice for the tickets indicates one amount and then you click purchase and wala the service charges for $152 appear. Do NOT PURCHASE TICKETS ON THE SECONDARY MARKET ESPECIALLY IF IT IS FROM BOXOFFICE TICKET.CENTER. There are others that have been scammed as well. Just hope at least my tickets work when I go to event. I will be contacting the FBI and Consumer Protection as this is totally wrong. This company should not be in business.

I just purchased Big Daddy Weave tickets for the local church in town. All tickets are $20and they charged me $31 for " good seats" and 18 and some change for processing fees and some other ridiculous charge. I called the church and they have never heard of this website and would never sell tickets for this price. This website also had "front row" tickets for 125$ and the church stated they have no assigned seating, as stated before. ITS come as you are and find a seat type deal. I am very angry and upset that people continue to rip other off. I am reporting to the BBB.

I was looking to buy 2 Def Leppard concert tickets and was told the cost would be $159.50 a ticket for "really good seats. 13 rows from the ground floor".
There was also a 23.50% service fee of $74.97.
Shipping cost of $7.95.
The total cost for the 2 tickets was $401.92 USD.
I contacted the venue where Def Leppard will be performing and was told these seats cost only $55 CAD.
Box Office Ticket Sales are scammers.

On Nov. 7th I purchased two tickets from Box Office Ticket Sales for the Nov. 29th performance of White Christmas at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA. When we arrived at the Fox they did not honor our tickets. They scanned our paper tickets and the electronic PDFs and the tickets were "invalid". The tickets they sold us were not authentic. This was supposed to be an early Christmas present for my daughter. Instead, it was a horrible, embarrassing, and expensive evening. Box Office Ticket Sales took my $226.83 and I received nothing in return. BEWARE! DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THIS COMPANY!

The first morning tickets went on sale for Cher at the PNC Arena in Raleigh NC I called what I thought was the Ticketmaster number. I had been on the Ticketmaster website the day before to research tickets, etc. I still don't understand how I got the Box Office Ticket Sales telephone number. I was under the assumption I was dealing with Ticketmaster the whole time. My friend and I are both disabled seniors and I explained up front we couldn't sit at the top and if that's the only thing available I wasn't interested in buying tickets. The rep (Bobby F) said he was going to try and open up something for us. He was successful and told me the tickets would be $109.50 and we would only have to walk up four steps. You have to understand I thought I was dealing with Ticketmaster and getting good seats so I was okay with the price. Please note that if someone answers box office and you think you're calling Ticketmaster you're not aware you're dealing with a third party re-seller. Yesterday, I received the tickets by FedEx and they are $33.95 tickets for seating at the top. Tickets that we can't use because we're both disabled seniors. Seats that I made clear I wasn't interested in purchasing. I contacted the Box Office Ticket Sales and they blamed it on Google search and I needed to complain to Google. They stated I agreed to the purchase the tickets by phone but they would review the phone call and contact me in 48-72 hrs. I can tell by the rep I spoke with they're not going to do anything to resolve this issue. I find myself out of $275.56 with tickets we cannot use. We were so excited about the concert and had reserved hotel rooms. I am sad and disillusioned that this is allowed to happen. I deserve to get my money back because I was mislead about the seating I was getting and that Box Office Ticket Sales has found a way to mislead people into thinking they are dealing with the box office of Ticket Master.

This company is a total rip-off. They mimic the look of the actual venue you are looking for and then double or triple the ticket price and even add outrageous service charge! I mistakenly used them to purchase tickets to a concert at the Green Music center. They listed tickets for $62. and added a $19 service charge. When the tickets arrived they were plainly marked $25. Total scam. They do not respond to any calls or emails.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

This organizations phone number is listed on the Anderson Music Hall in Hiawassee Georgia's web site to purchase tickets for concerts. They charged $121.00 each for tickets that could be purchased for $60.00 at the venue. I will let everyone on social media know about this scam! This number should be removed from the web site . This site is a consumer rip off!

I attempted to call the Convention Center directly for concert tickets for the most direct tickets and (as it turns out unbeknownst to me) my call got "mysteriously" diverted to this company. I was sold 3 tickets for 69.50 each plus $26 in fees, plus shipping (for e-tickets!) for which I later found that those same tickets have been priced at $33 all along and still are. We were told that the seats we really wanted were around $250 each but in fact are $78, thus we compromised for way lesser seats. As it turns out we could have purchased those preferred seats for close to the price we ended up paying. That's $250 each versus $69 each. This company apparently buys up tickets (calling it 3rd party sales) and resells them for more than double. Isn't that what "scalping" is!

We paid over $500 for 2 tickets to see foreigner in concert in Huntsville Alabama on February 21st. This was a Christmas present. For about a week before the concert, my husband called daily and they kept saying that the tickets would be in email. They never came. This is unacceptable. The email or tickets should have been sent to us if it was a valid sale.

On 10/7/15, I thought I was purchasing tickets for the Lyle Lovett/ Vince Gill concert directly from the venue at Cobb Energy a Center in Atlanta. Only to find out several minutes later that I paid $302.00 for tickets that are priced at $40 to $60 for the Mezzanine seats I purchased. The website sports the logo of the Venue so I thought I was going directly there. I tried to speak to a Manager, however, there is no manager. I filed a dispute with my bank and found out today that I will be charged because of the " no refund" policy. I am very upset. I read on Yelp that this is a common practice of this company. This is price gouging and they should be shut down.

My husband purchased tickets to Trans Siberian Orchestra for my birthday. He spent $366 for two tickets. He was told that tickets would be mailed out just before the show and we would have them the Wednesday before Thanksgiving for a show the day after. We did not get the tickets on Wednesday, when he called they said they had been delivered to our front door on Wednesday. Luckily, we found them, they were delivered to our neighbor. When I saw the tickets, I was pretty upset to see that the face value was just under $80. He was told they were $149 each. He called them back and was told they can be sold above or below face value because they are a retail marketplace. The person he spoke with told him that they would look into it and call him back in a couple of hours, a couple hours sure seemed like 24... very frustrated, we will be sure to double check who we are placing orders with from now on. Not sure how they can legally charge you more than double what the cost should be. How is this company still in business?

I bought tickets for Brian Regan, one of my favorite comedians and I was lead to believe that #1 there were no balcony seats left ( and there are) and that floor tickets are more ( and they're not) # 2 that the tickets were $94 a piece and that was the actual price and it was not. I called the Theater were it was being held and they said that all tickets were $39.75 and there were plenty of balcony seats left. I contacted Box Office tickets and confronted them with this and they're response was basically, you paid for it and all sales are final . Also charged a $50 fee for no reason and refused to even discuss the matter of over charging for the tickets. They are nothing more than scalpers and liars.

11/2/2015 I did a Google search for a theater in Toronto, Canada to purchase tickets to a stage production. I went down the list of ads and clicked on the name of the theater. I clicked on what appeared to be the Theater "Box Office" that had the text "Box Office". I talked to a person about the choice of seats, date desired, etc. Talking as fast as he could, he mentioned no refunds and other stipulations, reviewed my purchase details and asked do I approve. I said yes. I got the tickets the following day for the same stage production in NEW YORK CITY! Not Toronto. I called to straighten out the mistake and was told that I never said Toronto. And the recorded phone call revealed that he told me the name of the theater. I never heard the words NEW YORK CITY. They are refusing to correct the mistake. WARNING: beware of buying tickets on-line. The information can be misleading and deceptive. And the money grabbers are clever enough in what they say to deceive you. The innocent get screwed.

I made the mistake of purchasing tickets through this website. Through the actual venue, the tickets would have been $39 each, but with this site, they charged me $69.50 a ticket plus outrageous fees. I will never again use this company and I hope no one else makes the mistake I did

Don’t buy from www.boxofficeticketsales.com. My friend and I bought 4 tickets from them, but after the concert was cancelled, these ### didn’t contact us and we lost money. We tried to call them, but the phone was busy or no one picked it up. But they wrote on the website that they return money for 100%.They are liars and scammers, and I want to find other deceived customers, who lost money.
