Boost Mobile Service and unauthorized uses of information

I went to a boost store located in Olathe Kansas just to get 1 phone only. I was quoted 1 price then the price gradually continue to change when refused offer and prices someone else took over and continued and then gives me this outrageous quote when I then quoted the prices that I was originally quoted the sales guy became upset because I wouldn't pay the $500+ I then explained to him that was wasn't our agreement so they tried to sell me 4 phones with 4 lines I told them I didn't need all that so I was told to pay 90.00 so I did he then said he would keep 2 phones and I could have the other 2 phones so I left from that on he the sales guy continued to harass me for 500.00 I told him that was not our agreement and I was not paying him for something I did not asked for plus he wanted me to pay him for 4 phones/lines I did not have. Then he proceeded to go into m y account and being changing my pin codes my phone numbers email account. I called boost immediately and informed them of the problem they assisted me into changing my information informing me he would not be able to do it again and that he should have not been able to do that. The following day he done it again along with disabling both of the phones I have called boost 8 different times trying to get help to no avail no one was able to assist me I then physically went into 3 boost mobile stores and again no one could help me prevent this guy from going into my account changing everything without my permission or consent to now disabling me from using the phones I have not even had the account or phones 1 month my billing due date is not till the 22nd of the month

that is very unfair that a business is ran like that to were a company can get your information and change it as he pleases then continually harrass a customer as he pleases and because you dont except a sales that that gives them the right to get your information and cause you distress and disable your services and keep coming for you in a hurtful manner

Boost Mobile Activate phone, cheating...

I'm customer BOOST Mobile long time ago.
Now I decided buy new phone.
11.01.2020 I came to Boost Mobile store, located at 2725 WINNETKA AVE. N NEW HOPE, MN. 55427 and ask salesperson if he have phone about $70-$80. He offer me phone Motog7 on $60.00. I agree w that price. After that I ask him activate that phone, he told me-for activate-will be $50 + tx. Then, I ask him transfer my data from old phone to new phone. For that one he charge me $52.08. Total I pay him $195.93 instead about $60.) +tx. When he finish installing/he activate not full data, no e-mail etc./. Then I see my phone w/out plastic cover. I ask salesman - where my plastic cover from phone. Saleperson told me I throw out cover to garbage can. I ask him take out cover from phone from garbage can. He told me-If you need cover-go to garbage can itself and take out your cover.
He was very rude.
This is ridicules.
When I came home, I open web from Boost Mobile-and read-
"There is no activation fee if you activate a new phone using the activation PIN number that comes inside every new phone box. If you don't have an activation PIN number, then a $10 one-time reactivation charge will apply.
Certified Pre-Owned phones will be subject to our standard $10 one-time reactivation charge at the time of activation but will receive a $10 account credit to offset that charge".
On next day, 11.2.2020 I decided double check-that really activation is FREE.. I call BOOST Co. and Rep. from Boost confirm-yes, the activation is free if you buy new phone. Then rep. from Boost ask me what kind of phone I buy and when, and where. I told her all info. She try find that purchase, phone what I buy, but she not found any info about that phone and my purchase on Boost comp. system.
This is so strange for my opinion.
At the evening, 11.2 2020 I came to store and want return phone on the original box w receipt and take full refund $195.93 what I pay.
On the desk was another salesman. He ask me what happened w phone. I answer-because your salesman from store yesterday, 11.1.2020 cheating me about activation fee. From that reason I decided return phone and got from store full refund-$195.93 what I pay for.
Salesperson ask me what cheating happened? I told him-your salesman. charge me for activating new phone, but activating is free from Boost, when you buy new phone. Saleperson told me-No, that is not right, We charge for any activation. I show him web from boost-where clearly wright-"There is no activation fee if you activate a new phone using the activation PIN number that comes inside every new phone box."
He read that one, paused, thought for a couple of minutes and answered me that it wrong.
Then I told him today is November 2, 2020 I spoke on the phone with the supervisor Boost Co. and she confirmed that the activation of the new phone is free.
The Boost Co. does not take any payment for activation. What the seller told me is that this is different, and they charge a fee for activating a new phone.
Then, seller also tried to find this phone purchase on computer of store for about 20 minutes. I'm not sure exactly, but in computer the store he also did not find a purchase deal. But I'm not sure about that, but he searched for a very long time. And he just asked me, what else did I buy from them besides the phone? I answered - nothing else - except this phone.
The seller again looked at the computer monitor for a long time, and in my opinion, did not understand anything what was happening. So it seems to me that there is a huge customer cheating going on.
I don't understand, maybe in the state of Minnesota under the same name of the Boost Co. there is another company?
Or - in a company that's based in Minnesota - other rules - set by the Boost Co.?
And then another question arises - and those phones that they sell - and which, in fact - and according to the laws - should all be registered in the Company's computer - where are they from? What are these phones?
Everything is very strange.
November 2, 2020, the seller took my phone with receipts, said that he needed to talk to his supervisor and resolve my issue with the payment.
From my opinion, relevant authorities need checking the financial activities of this particular Boost store, and should pay attention to those frauds and schemes of cheating customers that exist in this particular Boost store.
And, Please help get my money return back.
Thanks.

Boost Mobile Boost mobile fraudulently took $35 out of my bank account

My husband's been with BoostMobile for 5 years and I have been with them for 2. We were very happy with Boost. We always bought our new phones on Boostmobile.com and never really had a problem.

I had my account auto-drafted out on the 3rd of each month and his on the 9th. On 9/3/2020, we decided to add a friend and we went in on a Family Plan. I told the agent, who BTW didn't seem to have it all together, since I was beginning a Family Plan on the 3rd of the month to make sure my husband's account was not charged $35 on the 9th. She's like, "Yeah, ok, no problem" (heavy accent.) On 9/8, I get a text message from my bank that $35 was taken out by Boost. I immediately call Boost Customer Service, explain what happened (mistakes happen) and they assured me my bank would be refunded the money in 7-10 days.

By 9/18, still no refund. I call Boost, the agent apologizes, promises me money will be in my bank account by Monday, 9/21. You guessed it, nope, still nothing. I'm getting a little irritated but I'm still a fan of Boost. My father-in-Law is looking for a new provider and I suggested for him to come on board with Boost. On 9/25, I call Boost, add him, ask about the refund, told it is processing. I'm not going to go into what was said. I was polite but firm. They asked me to give it 7-10 more days. What am I to do? I'm determined now.

Meanwhile, the friend who is on my plan with me breaks her phone. By 10/4, I still have no refund, I call Boost and with my recommendation, we order a new phone for her, I ask about the refund, the agent is very rude, she can't find the complaint, transfers me to a recording who asks for my Visa card number. I hang up and call right back, fuming, I get the nicest and personable agent on earth. She is totally on point, gets to the bottom of everything. I find out my refund complaint had been canceled since 9/12, supposedly due to my husband using his cell for 15 minutes over his limit (which is totally untrue because we canceled his phone 6 days early so there would be no way he could have been over) she apologetically suggested I contact my bank and put a dispute in on the charge.

I find this totally unfair that the bank has to deal with this. It is not the bank's fault. I did as she said and my bank was upset, to say the least. They will do this, but they will have to cancel the credit card on file at Boost, reissue me a new debit/credit card, and I will have to wait the customary 5-7 days to receive it. Furthermore, if I want to have auto-pay again, I have to call Boost back and put my card on file with them again, that is if I want to even stay. I can't understand how they can treat their customers this way. I told my bank to hold off until I talk to a supervisor.

On 9/12, I talked to a Supervisor and what an [censored] he was. Totally unprofessional. Kept stating the customary company line, "I'm sorry, you have a valid point but be there as it may be there is nothing I can do, yada, yada, yada, etc..." I would raise another point, and he would just keep repeating that same line in the same bored tone. Juan was his name. Wouldn't even give me the courtesy of the beginning initial of his last name. Coward! I just lost it and said cancel my service now! My husband starts yelling in the background, "No, we have others depending on us." (My friend has Stage IV oral cancer and needs her phone for doctors.) I'm sure ole Juan got a kick out of that. So, anywho, that's my story. I bring two people into the Boost Family and recommended a phone from their website. I will always go to the local store in the future if we stay with Boost. I called them, and they were horrified how I was treated and even tried to help me by calling Customer Support to no avail. They advised me to never keep my credit card on file with Boost because things like this can happen so easily.

The original agent is at fault here but Boost could easily have worked with me. I'm not unreasonable. Where is Customer Loyalty!

Boost Mobile free phone for signing up for boost

On Tuesday September 8th I sent a friend of mine to Boost Mobile to sign me up. Because I could not make it. While he was there, he had the person on Phone with me and all he asked was my IMEI number. Not once did he asked if I wanted a new phone.
Only found this out afterwards that if I was with Verizon that if I switched into boots mobile I would get a new phone. What back in and spoke to the person on Friday and he told me it was too late I had to get a new phone when I signed up. I explain to him that he never asked me If I wanted new phone and that I could get a free one because I was coming from Verizon. He offered to show me another phone and I told him why should I pay for something I was supposed to get for free so do. On September 12 I called Boost Mobile at 12:00 p.m., and spoke to Rashmi. She assured me she understood my situation and sent me to a store in Farmville and they would give me the phone. When I got there the woman said that there was nothing she could do for me. I came back home and called Boost Mobile again At 4:30 p.m. After explain to this new person what was going on, I was put on hold then disconnected after a 1/2 hour. I called back again at 5:35 p.m. Again, explaining my situation got put on hold and disconnected 24 min later. Called back again at 6:00 p.m. I was told this time by the gentleman after I told him the situation that someone would call me back here it is almost A-day later and no call back. Went on boost Mobil web site chat and tried to resolve my problem after over an hour on line still the same problem. They do not care about their customers once you sign up. Going back to Verizon I can not do business. with a company that does not want to do the right thing and admit there representative made a mistake. My opinion id Boost Mobil is a terrible company and would recommend every one to stay far away.

Boost Mobile Customer service

Boost Mobile is horrible. I've overlooked the spotty coverage for years since I was paying only $30 for 5Gb of data a month. Lately my phone has been angry, so I decided to get a new one. I bought it from the Boost Mobile website to assure it would work with my plan. I got it 8 days ago. I left it on my porch for a few days due to covid concerns. When I went to swap the phones on the website, it told me I would have to change my plan. It would have to start paying $50 a month to use this phone. When I called boost mobile and pressed buttons for over 20 minutes trying to get to a live person, I ask to return the phone. I was told the phone needs to be returned within 10 days. I called on day 8, but apparently they include the days it takes for them to ship it, so I was at day 13. They said there is no way they could take the phone back. I have never heard of any company including the time they take to ship out an item counting towards the customer's time to return it. I bought it through Boost Mobile to make sure it would work with my phone. I could have bought it from amazon for less and had 30 days to return it. I have been with boost mobile for over 10 years. I am so upset by their FU attitude that I will be changing phone companies. Obviously Boost Mobile has become absolute crap since it switched from Sprint to Dish owning them.

Boost Mobile Boost up

Yesterday I went to do a boost up with a text my husband got on his phone about new phone november. Never got a new phone. Instead had to keep running back and forth to walmart to put service on old phone. In the fine print nowhere does it say that the old device had to have active service, nor did it say that the debit card had to have enough on it to cover the $1 and taxes nor was I told this in store by the person working nor did the fine print say anything about in store activation. Now im very angry. We have been with boost for roughly over 2yrs. If this does not get remedied somehow we will be taking our business to metro and we will be in contact with BBB to file a complaint. I had a phone picked out and had my heart set on it and to be told I needed MORE stuff. Its BS!

Boost Mobile Customer service

I stuck with this outfit despite their many foibles and seemingly not wanting to or the inability to make corrections. Their latest fiasco with their chat 'team' is and has always been a down side. Never an unpleasant tone in dealing with them, just ineptness by not enough
(any?) knowledge to answer questions prior to going to a file for answers. Lack of training ? Short
staffed ? The interaction with a
chatter has landed me in the round file without notice. Instead of a text
disclosing particulars on why plus a warning of upcoming date (s) to
begin the thing, a total blockage of customer care is ' in your face ' there.
More like an insulant three year old
not having their way, MommaDadda
watcha Don't look at me I'm not talking to you anymore. All attempts
to sign in...access 403 FORBIDDEN
Including calling them. Some of the standard phone services are now
curtailed or have become minimized
which are the reasons for wanting fixes all along. To their great credit this junk is still operable for calls
and the monthly service charge is honored. Now i have a real reason to buy a NICE cell and get better stuff
with it . Oh yeah, this one has been compromised as well so time for a heave ho.

Boost Mobile Refund on a device

I ordered a phone online on September 25th at around 8:30 p.m. Within minutes of realizing that the phone was going to the wrong address I called immediately to have them stop it.I was told that I needed to wait 24 hours for a tracking number to generate. I called the next day with the tracking number and was told that the phone would not go to that address and it would be stopped. The phone was shipped to the wrong address anyway after giving all the information I was supposed to and the tracking number being verbally given to the customer service rep and then being told that the phone would not be delivered to the address, the phone was still delivered to the address and I was told that I needed to fill out a police report. This has been going for almost 2 months now. I have had no resolution. The local sheriff's department told me, after the officer inquired with their fraud department, that no fraud had been committed on my part. There was no theft of the phone and that in fact it was actually Boost Mobile's fault that the phone was delivered to the wrong address. Therefore I cannot provide a police report to boost Mobile. What I was advised to do by the sheriff's department was to inform you all that I can send you all a signed affidavit saying that I never received the phone and giving the information about the topic that was shared with the sheriff's department in the affidavit. Since all of this occurred I have already bought three new phones from my daughters and I'm still waiting on my refund for the one phone that I never received and was told that I would not get a refund because I cannot provide a police report. It is fraudulent on my part if I blatantly lie on a police report saying that things happened that didn't. The phone was never stolen, it was delivered to the wrong address even after being told it would not go to that address. I was also told by one of your customer service Representatives that I should go ahead and allow them to send me another phone and then decline the acceptance of that phone so it can get sent back to you all and I would be able to get a refund that way. I told him that was immoral and unethical and that I would not be doing anything like that. I will be no part of any type of fraud. All I want is my money back so I can get on with this situation because I'm tired of being bothered with it I'm tired of sitting on hold and I'm tired of talking to people that I barely understand and that don't understand me. The whole situation could have been avoided if the order was canceled the night that I called and said that it was going to go to the wrong address. I need some type of resolution to this problem.
The phone (Samsung Galaxy A10E) was ordered on September 25th. The order # was

Boost Mobile Phones

Please DO NOT ever try to buy anything from boost
Nor waste your time calling their customer service numbers. When you call, their agents are NOT from US, so its hard to communicate, theyre just gonna place you on hold every single time and your gonna be on the phone for 45mins, probably they think you have the luxury of time. They never put notes so you have to tell your story all over again. I was promised that I will be given a return label since they sent the item by mistake when the order was already cancelled way ahead of time. They told me to just wait for a few days for the return shipping label, not knowing it was actually just a trick! So you will past that 7 days return mark! So extra charge for you to ship the item! Customer service sucks really bad and you can tell they're not sincere on helping you and just playing around probably getting coffee or doing chitchat while you are on hold. I was even told to go to the store to return the item I purchased online but store told me that they dont handle anything ordered online so it took me a long time, and imagine all the hassle and all the calls I made just to get this figured out. So please save yourself and do yourself a favor and DO NOT purchase anything from BOOST!good luck!

Boost Mobile Lock phone policy

I had Boost mobile phone svc. 2 years ago. I was there 5-6 months before moving to a over better service with a much better plan. The phone I used was one I'd already owned. There were no promos or freebies being offered.
Now, 2 years later "I'm unable to use this phone. Its locked! This phone had been put away since id gotten another phone.
Im now being told that since I wasn't with Boost over 12 mths. It cannot be unlocked. Their cust svc manager ("Sam" is all she would tell when I asked for her info) has even accused me of planning not 2 stay from the beginning. This makes no sense!
This policy was never stated. If so I would never have agreed. Based on posts on several sites, especially Boost mobiles, many other woupdbt gave either. As a matter of fact theres a "no contract" advertisement in store, online, etc. False advertisement!
This is unfair & unacceptable ! Im unable to use this (an expensive Samsung s7) phone at all now unless with Boost.
This should be stated initially upon someone beginning svc with Boost.
There are women's shelters requesting unused phone for needy families. I can't even give this phone to someone who needs it unless they agree to activate it with Boost, which is an unethical request.
Someone toltome that I can pay to have it unlocked for a fee by an outside party. Is this really my only option to keep from tossing away a $700 phone?
I will go to the media as well as BBB & any other avenue found to get this overturned. Its a bullying tactic at best.

Boost Mobile iphone 7

On July 8, 2019 I was in the vicinity of boost mobile, I made a bad decision to go into the store and enquire on a phone for my granddaughter she stays sick a lot. so I entered the store they had wiring from the floor sparking. I approached them they was cordial to me. They introduce me to a plan in the plan I traded my old iPhone for a new phone they claimed and then my granddaughter was added to my plan. They gave me and iPhone for my grand daughter for $300.00 dollars, I would catch them whispering in a real low tone. About 3 weeks later my granddaughter phone quit and had a message no service. I called one of the representative and told him my grand daughters phone isn't working he gave me a code for my grand daughter to use it started with # and ended with # my grand daughter told me it didn't work. I called him back and let him know the code didn't work he told me he need the phone. I bought my grand daughter a greyhound ticket. On sept. 14, 2019 I visited the store with my grand daughter with the phone. One of the representative was arrogant with me it hurt me the other representative felt sorry and tried to help me but he couldn't fix the phone. So the representative called bright star and administration for boost mobile. I spoke with a woman representative she asked me for my demographic I gave her my demographics and she asked me for my Email she said told me she was going to send me labels I waited patiently for the label no label. So I called bright star today and explained I didn't get my label she said I'm going to resend you the label no label in my Email. I then call the same day another representative I talked too and he said he was going to send me label no label in my Email, I called again the same thing It's redundant. They're taking advantage of me they
are refusing to give me labels. they are mixing it up one boost mobile gave my granddaughter Apples number and this boost mobile called bright star and it's so much time I have. Please help me because I have been a loyal customer for 1 year 2 months. I paid service for 2months some weeks of no service for my granddaughter. It's hurtful they hang phones up on me. They are very rude to me except the one guy.

I've contacted the fraud department of my bank, shut down my card and contacted the Fillmore County Sheriff. Is there any way you can cancel this purchase? Thank you

Boost Mobile Boost customer service is a joke. Liars, who just are playing some kinda game

I recently switched to boost (bad move on my part). I bought an lg stylo 4 and brought my number with me. well the phone lasted just about 2 weeks and stopped working, have not even made a payment yet smh. No i didn't buy insurance but a brand new phone don't last 2 weeks i believe no insurance needed that's just wrong take care of your customers not to mention i believe there some kinda law against that in the us. stopped back at boost store they basically say to me oh well buy another one .. HAHA yeah right not gonna happen.. angry i left went to next place took my number gotcheap phone and fig lesson learned BOOST SUCKS ..That's nothing compared to what happens next smh.. so i get ahold of lg and they tell me send stylo back they investigated admit fault and fix and return stylo. so I call boost to unlock my phone. this is where it gets crazy. So i am talking to someone i can't understand nothing except sry i understand but 12 months minimum before unlock ..First of all you sold me a phone that couldn't make it two weeks what a joke. well we go back and forth wasting my time no doubt ..i finally start to demand to speak with someone higher up she complies and a manager or whatever gets on says same as first lady well we go back and fourth a bit . then she says ok sir call this number they will unlock your phone we cant do it here . so i ask for a call reference number she gives me one. i try to reassure that what she is now saying is accurate she asures me once again. i hang up call fake number HOW DOES BOOST EVEN STAY IN BUISNESS LIKE THIS. and the ref # was a fake.. i have proof the conversation was recorded on both sides im sure .., call boost again they did the hr on phone talk to few people and astill won't unlock my phone. I'm absolutely livid. how boost conduct buisness threw every step. was absoulty junk . i am not done i will fig out my next move and won't give up its the principle now
