Bob's Discount Furniture cirrus plush mattress

We purchased a Cirrus Plush Mattress Article number 184448, in 2011
and the mattress has gullies and sunk in more than four inches on each side of the queen bed. We bought the top of the line mattress at the time and my back for the mattress sinking in is killing me. I have been going to PT 16 times already and I am ok to sleep on the couch but as soon as I sleep on the bed since it sunk in I get raging back pain. My mattress had a non prorated 20 year warranty. The service man came to my home and saw my boyfriend who bought me the mattress and said seeing the goof bad never held up the mattress top is in excellent condition but it is sinking it and said that is "normal wear and tear". That is not normal wear and tear and we bought four mattress and three couches and other furniture from bob. This is our first grievance and we were spoken to very rudely by the service agent and right now Im in tears. I need my mattress to be fixed or replaced because it is killing my back. I didn't have to buy a mattress with a 20 year warranty and say this is normal. It is not and I want experts to come back out because the service man is really not giving accurate info that came into our home.

Bob's Discount Furniture king size mattress

I purchased a King Size bed in 2012 paying $900.00 for what I was told was a good mattress for I have a bad back, that mattress lasted until 9/2017 and had to be replaced due to each side caving and a hill in the center of the mattress. I had Bob's out and they agreed with the issue and pro rated the mattress towards another again supposedly better mattress at an additional cost of about $500.00.
We are now 18 months later and this mattress has the same issue, leaving me sleeping in a chair once again. so far almost $1400.00 in mattresses in 7 years and we are going through this again. I called customer care telling them I have pictures but once again they need to send someone out and Friday is the earliest they can come out! I believe after spending this money and pain and suffering, plus the aggravation, Bob's should either be able to send someone out right away, so that I can replace this mattress right away and give a full credit this time. a mattress should last more than 1.5 years

Bob's Discount Furniture recliner

Bob's Furniture's tech came out this morning and replaced the motor and it still grinds going up and down, he had no idea what was causing it . The very rude lady that I talked to in their customer service said that if the motor didn't fix it then tough cause that's all they would cover. The sales people mislead the consumer about their warranty just to get a sale. Now that the weather is getting better, I will organize everyone that has had a problem with Bob's Furniture, turns out to be quite a few, and go to the Appleton store to let anyone and everyone know what a horrible experience that I and other people have had. The material that is used is very cheap, the seat cushion is completely flattened and it still grinds going up and down. Printing all of the bad reviews and handing them out is another option. Bob's Discount Furniture product/service complaints

On 2/23/2019, Acct # [protected]. We had a very bad experience with the delivery men that was schedule to deliver and install our bed frames and dressers to our new apartment. They came with an attitude. I had directed them to where the bedframes are supposed to be set up. I went back down stairs. As the banging and them speaking in their language, I was curious and went upstairs to check on the process. They had the bed frames in opposites room. I had told the lead and he said to me that it was already in the rooms and it's too much work for them to switch it. The attitude and the different language continues. As I walked back downstairs, I seen the ripe on the carpet. I mentioned it to one of the other fella. He ignored me and walk right back upstairs and spoke to the others in their language. After an hour passed, I went back upstairs and seen the walls scratched and stain with dark marks in the hall way and both bedrooms. I was very disappointed on the service. As I was checking around the products I also notice the draws wasn't level and asked him to fix it. He continue to give me an attitude and told me he will ask a technician to come out to fix it. When I had mention to the lead regarding to the walls and carpet, the fella tone of voice escalated. I was in fear and I told him ok, thank you for your service. I ended up leaving and I came back they had left styrofoams all over the parking lot. I had sent it to a live chat and they told me to contact customer service. I waited until 2/25/19 to go back to the store where I purchased the products and spoke to the sale man and the manager. They told me to contact customer service. As I tried to called the call center was closed. This experience by far the worst that I had ever had with Bob's discount. I had purchase from the company before and never had any issues. Those delivery men was very unprofessional. The apartment has been fixed and painted for my family and I to move in on the 1st of March to have to go through this I had to write up this complaint so that no one else or myself will have this issue in the future.
I will be having other products being deliver to me 2/28/19.
Also, I couldn't upload the photo for the carpet due to the size of it. I can send it to an email if you request. Thank you, Thanhly

Bob's Discount Furniture customer care

I've called about 10 times already to file a claim that I need repairs on my kitchen table and they always tell me that they are going to send me an email to file my report and I never get the email. Ive also gone to the store I provided above to tell them about my issue and they tell me that I need to call which I always do call but nothing is ever done. This is the worst service ever, these chairs don't work as soon as I got them the wood started pealing. If you guys don't come to fix all these issues that the table has I would like my money back and I will go return the table at the store. Because I will not keep paying for a table that does not work and scratches and peels easily. I'm fed up with trying to contact you guys on this matter. This is the worst service ever!

Bob's Discount Furniture recliner

Bought a recliner in late 2017 from a sales rep that told me that their warranty covered everything. The recliner makes a grinding noise going up or down, and the seat cushion, that I was told would last for years, is almost nonexistent. It is the most uncomfortable chair to sit in, I am disabled and it really affects my back and hips. My wife called this morning and was told that they would send a tech out at my expense, warranty is a scam. I should have seen the red flag when the first chair that was delivered had little tears in it and didn't work right. I will never get anything from Bob's Furniture again, and I will let everyone know, to let everyone that they know, that the furniture doesn't even last 2 years, they will say anything to get a sale. Sad too, cause I really liked the chair and bragged it up to everyone only to have it become unusable in less than two years.

Purchased a Recliner in 2017/ motor went out/Put claim in in October 2018...Tech came to house in November. Tech stated it needed 3 pieces to repair/Ordered parts in November...states they would be back in December...1rst part came in December 2018...2nd part came in January 2019...3rd part has yet to arrive and its March 2019...Requested new recliner and was denied...Horrible business. Will never purchase there again...will not recommend and will not step in their facility to get a free cookie...

Bob's Discount Furniture leather couch

I will add to this that this is far and away a huge scam. I spent thousands of dollars on a leather couch that 2 years later started fading away in multiple spots. After reporting this to Bob's they sent someone to my house and I was told that the sun may have caused this which is not covered under the warranty! Yes the sun in the sky came through my living room walls (I had one small window where the couches are) and faded the couch.

Funny I don't remember the sales people telling me this when they sold me the furniture.

I am not someone who spends time going online and bashing companies but this is ridiculous. The will not let you escalate the problem and told me that I needed to get over this as it's normal wear and tear. Thank you Rebecca B for being useless and providing zero customer service. Thank you Bob's for teaching me a lesson to buy all of my future furniture elsewhere.

Bob's Discount Furniture delivery

I ordered quite a few pieces of furniture on 12/10. I was told at the time of purchase that the couch was on back order and would be delivered on the 5th of Jan. That was satisfactory to me and I ordered the couch. (Kennedy gray sofa). Some of the furniture was delivered on 12/28 but prior to the delivery (not at the time of purchase) I was called and told the desk I ordered Trayton wire brush desk was on back order as well. Honestly if I knew that I would have chosen another desk. Now I'm told that the desk will not be delivered until 2/2. I wasn't happy but decided to wait it out.

Now, every single week, Bob's calls and delays the delivery. Now the couch is due to be delivered on 1/26 and the desk 2/9. I doubt that these items will be delivered on time as I'm sure that they will push them once again.

To make my experience even worse, the kitchen table and bench I ordered came damaged so I am waiting for a replacement on that.

I am extremely frustrated and annoyed and would like so monetary compensation for all this trouble. And I want my furniture.

I had a delivery date 4/13/2019 for timeframe 11:30-1:30. I got a text at 11:32 saying they would be there in 10 minutes. At 12:00 still nothing. I check the tracking, it said "not started". I got a call at 1:27 saying they was on their way. Still nothing. I got another call at 3:52 saying I have to reschedule. I work six days a week, and my whole day was a waste of time. I'm so frustrated with BOB'S DISCOUNT FURNITURE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I need to be compensated for my time.

Bob's Discount Furniture leasing program

This is an upscale rent a center. My paymenr is due on the 21st, I told the younglady that signed me up I won't be able to pay until the 25th. She agreed and systematically I paid. Well 12-25 paying a bill was the last thing on my mind. The 26th as I read through my voicemails and emails I received an nasty message stating I could pay or we can arrange a date for them to come and pick up the merchandise. If that's how you handle customers. Come and get your merchandise. I've never dealt with such a low class establishment.

Bob's Discount Furniture leather sofa set

I purchased a sofa and loveseat approx. 1-1/2 years ago at Bob's in Hunt Valley. The pushy salesman also talked me into a "Goof Proof" 5 year warranty. After approx. 1 year the leather on my sofa has been deteriorating as shown in the photo. I contacted Bobs and put in a concern/complaint to corporate. They stated they would review and send reply via e-mail. They stated in their e-mail that this is not covered under their warranty nor the 5 year goof proof warranty. I am now stuck with a sofa, loveseat and ottoman set that is worthless because the leather on the sofa is coming off after only 1-1/2 years. Absolutely crazy that you pay so much money for a leather set and it doesn't last as long as a fake leather set. Buyers beware on the lasting quality of Bob's furniture items !

Bob's Discount Furniture living room furniture

I purchased the furniture 8/2/2015 and the goof proof product total cost $1, 322.51. The furniture was starting to have problems Bob's Furniture
sent a representative to my house 11/7/2018 I was told it was definitely a manufacturer defect. I spoke to customer service and was told I would be contacted but never have been . I have called 4 times and keep getting nowhere.
At this point I want a refund or I'll be taking Bob's Furniture to small claims court.

Bob's Discount Furniture recliner sofa

The mid wodden part of sofa is loose or cracked unknown . The part is internal so it cannot be fixed as per second tech.
Their tech came twice both the answers were different.bobs customer service is so horrible they said it will not be covered under manufacture warranty. Which cannot be accepted. I also have their accidental damage warranty but when some problem is with manufacture they need to take care of that instead of telling customer to check with accidental warranty company

ZERO STARS. Reclining love seat. Metal on recliner bent and broke. They came out and fixed. Took about a month. Within that month the other side did the same thing. Tech said need to order that part. Well it was denied. Living with the broken pieces that we are still paying for. Now using the couch because the love seat is all jacked up. Now the couch is doing the same thing. Called good ole BOBS FURNATURE customer service. SORRY SIR ...DENIED ...DENIED... DENIED... Also the couch in kids play room has a pull out. A family member came and used it once. it somehow got all bent up. That also DENIED. There claim is that the flimsy metal they use is not factory defect. Asked if they could send out another so called tech and that was even DENIED. So I am to continue to pay the balance off and throw this junk away at the dump. Very sad. We also bought the 5 year BOBS GOOF PROOF nothing of a warranty. I would not recommend BOB'S at all. Way to NOT stand by your product.

Bob's Discount Furniture living room furniture

I purchased living room furniture in February 2017. I purchased goof proof protection as well. The frame on my sofa as well as the recliner broke. Bob sent someone to my home this past Friday to examine the furniture. I was told by the person that the frame was broken on the sofa ( he never examined the chair) and that it was a manufacturer defect and had to be replaced. I received a email from bobs stating that the coil in the middle of the sofa was broken and that a part was ordered which will not be available until mid January. I called and explained to the company that it is the holidays and that I needed my furniture fixed . I was told that nothing could be done and I would have to wait until mid January .

Bob's Discount Furniture quality of item/ repair or replacement

My wife and I furnished our entire house with furniture from Bobs Discount Furniture two years ago. The couch and loveseat we purchased is made of a leather material. Recently the couch cushions have severely peeled. The remainder of the couch is in fine condition as well as the loveseat which gets equal wear. I do not find it acceptable that this peeling should be occurring after 2 years! I called a local store to complain and they did not want to tell me anything but the fact that I am out of luck. I would appreciate some sort or repair, replacement or compensation.

Bob's Discount Furniture couch seat broke

Hi, I left a review before also but no steps were taken except a phone call from them. When I bought the couch 2 years back, they were like pushing me for taking the 5 years warranty for $99. I found it to be a good offer and took it as I thought I can relax for sometime if anything happens to my couch. On March 2018, I called the Customer care and asked them to change the couch seats as it is really gone bad in 1.4 years, they said that they will send the replacement by April 15th, After that I followed up with them so many times but this is end of October and I didn't receive any replacement so far. They are just fake people who make fake promises and trying to make money out of that warranty which they literally force every customers to take it. This is the first and last time I bought anything from Bob's. I will not recommend anyone to go to Bob's and I make sure that no one goes after reading this review. Wish I could give ZERO stars.

Bob's Discount Furniture dining room table

We purchased a dining room table which cost $1600.00 almost a month ago. They have tried three attempts at delivering product in which we purchased to our house. The first time they came to deliver our dining room set, they sent the wrong chairs. I had to schedule to take off of work again for a second delivery date. The second time they came out, they sent the wrong chairs again. Both times in which I called I was on the phone/ hold for almost an hour. The third attempt they tried to come out was on a Sunday in which they use a third party for deliveries. I sat around the house all morning waiting for my correct chairs to come, once the truck finally arrived they went out to search in the truck to come back and tell me the chairs are not on the truck. I am at my fourth attempt to receive what I paid for a MONTH ago... Last time in speaking with a supervisor I was told that they do not usually do deliveries past three attempts but an exception would be made for me like they were doing me a favor bringing me my correct item in which THEY kept messing up. I still have not received my chairs. I am beyond frustrated and will NEVER shop at Bob's again, and everyone I speak to I will advice them not to shop there either. I mean, for almost $200.00 delivery - you would expect much more than the treatment I have been receiving.

Bob's Discount Furniture dining room delivery

I spent $3, 000 on a diningroom set .When they came to delivery the diningroom set, the top of the table was not in the truck, seriously, I had to call and schedule another delivery, I had to take a day off and the customer service rep I spoke to told me I would be compensated for the aggrevation. I have not heard from your store since the second delivery.

Bob's Discount Furniture china furniture majestic hutch

I bought a China in bob furniture back in August I have the bottom piece the hutch was in back order I was supposed to get it in September everytime I called the day was pushed back finally I got a deliver date which was sept 29 I waited and waited no one show up then I got another deliver date which it was confirm the deliver man even call me and told me I'm on my way I waited and waited I call the deliver guy back and he told me the hutch is not in his truck but no one call me to explain I'm so disappointed of bob furniture that I feel like returning everything i ever got from them I don't know who is running this operation but who ever it is need to find another job

Bob's Discount Furniture awful delivery and customer service

My fiancee (now wife) and I purchased a bedroom set through Bob's website in early August, shortly after purchasing our home, and also paid the $109 delivery and assembly fee. It took no less than 4 delivery attempts by Bob's in order to completely deliver the entire bedroom set. The first delivery featured missing side rails and a broken dresser. The second delivery featured a broken foot board, and missing side rails once again. The third delivery was supposed to occur on a weekday between 10 A.M. and 2 P.M. This delivery did not occur until 9:15 P.M., apparently due to a broken down delivery truck. Bob's did not bother to contact me whatsoever regarding their tardiness. When I called to ask when I should expect my delivery, I was only then notified that there was a delay, and was assured that my delivery would be made no later than 6:45 P.M. that night. Again, the delivery people did not show up until 9:15 P.M., and had no clue that they were to assemble the bed for us. Once again, the foot board was broken, and the bed could not be set up. They were not able to get another foot board in and deliver it until the following week, which happened to be the week of our wedding. We were not available to be there due to our wedding, so we had to make arrangements with neighbors to be there for the delivery. This time, everything was in good enough condition and was assembled. During this entire process, my wife and I each had to take days off from work in order to be at our house for deliveries that were botched or were much later than anticipated, as well as were inconvenienced on many occasions(I was living an hour away from where we purchased our home and waited for the furniture to be delivered). We were not able to stay in our new home because we did not have a bed to sleep in, and had to worry about all of this when we should have been celebrating our wedding. When I contacted Bob's for compensation, I was offered a $25 gift card, and then finally offered to have the delivery fees refunded. In my opinion, I do not believe this compensation is sufficient for all of the inconveniences that occurred, nor do I believe that customer service did anything to rectify the situation. Customer service was extremely lacking, especially when I spoke with the corporate office, where I was essentially told too bad, deal with it this is the best we can do. I will never purchase another item from Bob's, nor will I recommend others step foot inside of a Bob's store. The whole process was a complete and utter nightmare.

I bought a sleeper sofa
I am very upset with the delivery service given to me today
the employees of the delivery, they never tried upload it the sofa, they just looked at the stairs and I live on a third floor and they told me that I would not fit on the stairs without even trying, I asked them to take the matre because if they did not leave the sofa I did not need the matres and they did not want to take it
