Bob's Discount Furniture couch

I have owned this couch for two years and it is completely falling apart... we only purchased this "leather" because the sales associate in Woodbridge in New Jersey told us it does not peel. It started peeling within the first year, we felt lied to. We would like to purchase again but however I don't think a couch should last only a year or two. At 1, 500 wasted. I've had couches last 20 years. I have taken photos of the "leather that doesn't peel" you claim to have.

Bob's Discount Furniture sofa set and ottoman

These couches I barely purchased a month ago
And there's no support on the hand resets feeling of straight wood no cotton or stuffing enough to feel comfortable at all.
Also an ottoman we purchased you feel the wooden along vertically running on your foot when placed on the top of the ottoman.
Need better couches
This all cost us 1, 000$!
These couches make noises of cracking wood when sat on, seems cheap for the price we've paid. Either refund or replace with something more sturdy

Bob's Discount Furniture two couches

Today a Tech came out to service a loveseat and sofa the repair was to replace spring and replace pilliows on both couches first he came in without the pillows and never repair the spring for the couch... I'm so upset I been putting in so many complaints and pictures and about my furniture and never I get the proper service im very upset and I might have to go to the next step... And contact the CEO I have insurance I pay for and I'm not getting what I pay for !

Bob's Discount Furniture purchased bob o pedic bed

After my old bobs discount furniture bed was defective i was given a credit to purchase a new bed for $1300. The new bed was purchased for $899 with the credit and i also bought some bobs pillows, still i had a credit of $-333.48.
This is where the problem starts no matter how many calls i make to bobs customer service they say yes you will receive this credit but i never got this credit. I have called at least 8 times with the same answer from bobs.
Now the credit has mysteriously disappeared, my only alternative is to file with the better business bureau or go to small claims court.
Very frustrating customer service, their receipt system is very confusing.

Bob's Discount Furniture 7 piece sofa set over $3000...

I bought one of the expensive sofa set from bob furniture with insurance warranty... I open a case.. Claim#7164673 with goof proof protection becuase I had accidental damage... I was told if there any type of damage including cuts or accidental damage they will come in and replace the whole furniture... That was lie... Forget about replacing they just denied the case stating this could been preventable... There is a lot cuts on your sofa... Does goof proof company have common sense... Thats why people buy accdential coverage... If everything is preventable then there would be no world wars... Goof proof is scam and fraud... I wish some one in america or attorney general go after this company so they unable to run business in this country... A lot of american people like me does not think twice before buying warranty becuase they think they covered... But its scammmmmmmmmmmm... Wake up goof proof I will see you in court...

Same issue they harrassed me in store to get goof proof and when I call for service all I get is an appt set with reminders and text mag's but no techs come and when following up I get the run around. I am currently pursuing this as a legal matter.

Bob's Discount Furniture unethical behavior

Customer called stated that he went to warehouse and first called because they called him on 06/27/2019 and stated that his furniture is ready and he has a truck and wanted to pick up himself, so they said it will be ready between 12p.m.-8p.m. on 06/28/2019 today, so customer went up there at 1p.m. on 06/28/2019 and the lady that works there the manager her name is Miss Valentine, she did not have anyone to help her put the furniture on Mr RICHARD DOLEY customer master 7688591 and standard order # [protected] and store # Store#228 LIVONIA, MI, and Mr Richard Doley was upset about that because that was a curiosity to put the furniture on the truck and she wasn't rude about it but it rubbed him the wrong way, because him being a paying customer he said we should be able to accommodate him by at least helping him put the furniture on the truck. Bob's Discount Furniture my fireplace doesn't heat up a very disappointed customer

I purchased a fireplace with Bob's in Wilkes Barre, also I purchased the goof waranty and that is a joke, no one no one has help I spoken to guardian no good results, it was not my fault my fireplace does not heats up that's the reason I purchased the waranty Brad has been calling me to see what results I've gotten I adv none, I want to put it very clear this waranty being sold is a joke many people are buying it and when really they need help no one helps BOBS definitely need to look into this I as a customer just want my fireplace looked at or replaced I can't believe what I have to go thru it's sickining please CEO someone get back to me .

Bob's Discount Furniture loveseat

Please do not purchase from Bobs I spent thousands for furniture at my home, parents and in-laws and the first time putting a claim because the wood is not sturdy enough and broke they are saying they won't cover it and goof proof will not cover it . It's is a company malfunction because the wood was not built to last. I never listen when friends told me not to purchase from them I figured because of good pricing and warranty I would be covered but I am not covered.They took pictures and everything still nothing

Bob's Discount Furniture delivery & customer service

Hello I received a text msg saying the driver was outside. I called my husband to tell him to buzz them in. He called me back and said nobody was outside. The bob driver called me and ask what's your address again ? I gave him my full address and informed him my husband is outside waiting. He hung. I called back twice no answers. My husband went back inside to wait for the delivery. Here it is hours later, the store won't answer, the delivery person won't answer. I'm at work and is really upset because my husband can not stay pass 3pm

Bob's Discount Furniture montana king bookcase/delivery issues

This has been an ongoing issue since may 12th 2019. I went into bobs furniture on the date listed and purchased a Montana bookcase king bed. I was assured that the product was in stock and was given the delivery date of may 25th 2019. Per bobs policy the spot where the furniture is being delivered has to be empty hence I discarded my old queen bed and mattress early on the morning of delivery. The delivery truck arrives to my house and they inform me that they do not have my bed. At this point I do not have a bed because I was assured delivery on the 25th and they did not keep up their end of their contracted agreement. I call customer care and they inform me that the bed will not be available until June 15th, (at this point I will now have to sleep on the floor with my spouse until June 15th. I receive an automated call Monday June 10th confirming my delivery on Saturday June the 15th. So yesterday June 11th I get a call from bobs discount furniture located in Springfield pa where I purchased the bed informing me that it wont be ready by the June 15th date and it will be delivered on June 25th. An extra 10 days I'm without a bed now. I asked what kind of compensation could be rendered from sleeping on the floor for over a month due to their false communications and they keep passing the blame to the manufacturer but the only thing they stated they could offer me was $200 of my order however this set cost 3, 000 mattress and all. What do I do now I need help I am currently seeking legal action and I have filed a complaint with the bbb and the ftc

Bob's Discount Furniture sofa and loveseat

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment in the couch and loveseat I purchased in January 2017. We not only purchased that, we also purchased a dining room buffet that we loved. I have had no issues with the buffet, but the couch and loveseat are a disgrace. We were told by the first salesman that these faux leather couches hold up and the one we bought was one of the best sellers. With just buying a new house, financially it was practical to buy this type of furniture for our new home so we trusted Bob's. Two years later it is falling apart.

After a few months we noticed some things were not right with the couch, it was uncomfortable, the recliner parts didn't close easily, one part of the couch was leaning and cushions were separating already. While I was still under my 1yr warranty I was told they would come out, so they did and said oh the cushions do this because of how you sit on the couch you shouldn't sit near the middle, so he put his hand in the back and shifted the pad inside. That was my service. He took a look at the leaning potion of the couch and saw that it wasn't clipped together in delivery, so he fixed that. That was that. The recliner parts were hard to get down but he said that was normal.

A few months after our couch was starting to peel near the head of the right top of the couch and on the sides of where the recliners get pushed down. Exactly where I had the issue of them closing that was considered "normal". I called and they said your one year is up we can't help you with the peeling, you didn't purchase the extended warranty and your manufacturing warranty period is over.

Now first of all, regardless if I paid 100's of dollars for your warranty, your product should not be falling apart in the first year of purchase. It is getting worse as time goes on, the bubbles in the brown vinyl are getting bigger and the tears on the corners are getting worse every time we open them. I have tried looking for vinyl repair in the color of the couch and I can't, Bobs stated they don't sell what I need to match their couches so we can fix it. The loveseat is hard as a rock in the middle and not comfortable at all. We paid $1500 on this set, Bob's should stand behind their product and either credit me towards a purchase of another better one or issue me a full refund so I can have furniture in my living room. As stated above we just bought this home so financially we do not have the money to buy another set soon, nor should we have to. If you sell products this quality that will only impact the amount of customers who return to buy again and I have no problem sharing my experience just as many others have on the BBB. This has been the worst experience for my husband and I because we trusted Bobs for our new home, so this is my last ditch effort to make this right before I go to the BBB and social media with my complaints too. Never in my life have I experienced this, if you sell something, you should stand by it especially so soon after it was purchased, so I am hoping Bobs will make this right for my family right away.

We purchased ours at the Rt 70 Cherry Hill NJ location.

Bob's Discount Furniture bed and hutch

I purchased a number of items for my home, including a wall unit that had a door that fell off almost immediately. I have been waiting for nearly two years if not longer to get the door repaired even though I paid for the special program that provides repairs when something goes wrong. I have had repair come without parts over and over. I have had parts mailed and they are the wrong parts. I have called back and been promised one thing after another and now with today's call after waiting another month once again, after the repair main came out, once again, without the parts, but promised them within a few days, I was told that I have to track down the parts via UPS and call them back. Why am I chasing parts, that I didn't even order. Your company did. Why am I still waiting for my Wall Unit door to be repaired. Why don't you come with what you need? I just recently ordered a bed. I found after I paid for the white glove treatment and my home was left a mess that the bed was not put together correctly. I, again, waited for someone to come to the home and repair it. When Miguel (who was a nice guy) arrived, he to did not have the parts, some screws. I had to search my kitchen drawer for some, not even sure the right size and was told someone would call within 48 hours and would make arrangements to come out and check the whole bed for compliance/safety and ensure it was now stable and secure, no call. I, also, waited all day, once again for Miguel when given a two hour window that he would arrive and lost ANOTHER days pay. Do you all do this on purpose? I want this matter resolved (both of them at the same time) ASAP/expeditiously or I will be filing formal grievances for the very poor customer service and charges that I should not have incurred. I will expect a response by the end of the week or I will proceed in another manner & you will forever lose a customer and all the people I inform will never be customers, either. Additionally, the last person I spoke to, when I was no longer tolerant of the excuses and broken promises, was rude, cutting me off, not listening to my legitimate concerns, and then made some very off handed, disrespectful, arrogant, short-tempered remark to me. Bob's Discount Furniture delivery

Received a delivery. They were suppose to haul away old bed. Delivery drivers refused even though it was in the notes. Customer service has been the worst I've ever received anywhere. No resolution and no help and old mattress is still in my home. Promised things that were never followed through with etc etc. spent almost $2, 000 to get treated horribly!

Bob's Discount Furniture defective low ridern within 8 month of purchase/ credit for reselection

I purchased a Low Rider Wireless Adjustable Bed in 09/2018 under order #[protected], and a few months after the purchase i notice the head and foot would drop by itself. I called customer service line and was told they had to have a technician come out and inspect the rider. After the inspection it was determined that the motor was defective and a new motor had to be ordered and installed. I did not want to go through this process, especially when I only had a few month with the merchandise and it was already not working properly. I spoke to a manager and was told that this would fix the issue so i agreed to have it replaced. She placed the order but since 2 month had past and i had only received one of the motors a whole new rider was ordered for all the inconvenience. I informed the Manager that if this was to occur again I would request an reselection of something else and she agreed. Not even 2 MONTHS after a new rider I began to experience the same issues but now the rider makes a loud noise. I called customer service and spoke to the same manager and she told me that now i have to have the same items changed. At this point i do not want this item and i want a credit for reselection. In the 8 months that i have had this item i have only experienced DEFECTED merchandise. On my receit it states "ALL FURNITURE THAT IS PURCHASED AT OUR REGULAR PRICE IS GUARENTEED TO BE FREE FROM FACTORY DEFECTS FOR 1 YEAR TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER WITHIN OUR NORMAL DELIVERY AREA" This has not been true from the moment i purchase this from you. I don't want to waste anyones time and do not want my time waisted. I want this merchandise out of my house and would like a reselection for something worth my money. I would appreciate if someone can get back to me and stop having me go through this process. It is clear that these riders are all defected and it is not correct to have someone purchase a defective merchandise and not able to return for a reselection. I can be reached at [protected].

Bob's Discount Furniture bob's furniture truck hit my parked car

A Bob's Furniture truck hit my parked car. The driver left a note with his name and phone number. I called the phone number but have been unable to get a response from the driver. I. Alled Bob's Furniture and They took my information and promised to call back from a manager. I have been unable to file a police report or a claim on my insurance company because I have been unable to get any type of response from Bob's furniture. Not only have they not responded to me with the information I need to get my vehicle repaired, the few times that I have called them the customer service representatives I've spoken to have been rude and unhelpful. Hey repeatedly asked for a phone number or email address for the store manager or a customer service manager but have been denied every time

Bob's Discount Furniture sofa

Automatic reclining sofa does not recline. Had the sofa for two weeks now had service tech here two times and still not fixed. The first tech ordered two wrong parts now have to wait once again for the correct part and call to schedule service again. This is time consuming and once again will have to wait for service to come and hopefully this time the 2nd tech got it right and ordered the right part and hopefully we can use the reclining sofa that we purchased. This was an expensive sofa and we will not be purchasing again from bobs. Employees need to be more competent in their job and bobs needs to address this issue. My time is valuable and should have been resolved with the first service call!

Bob's Discount Furniture couch

Our couch frame cracked just under a year into ownership and they claim its not a manufacturer defect. I'm not a large man and my wife weighs less than me. Just up and cracked when I sat down one evening. They use cheap materials and then turn a blind eye when their products fail. Glad we got their stupid extended warranty to fix a couch thats LESS THAN A YEAR OLD. We were happy with their bed set and decided to get a couch. Hopefully the warranty company fixes it correctly. Guess that mistake wont be made again.

I purchased the 5 year warranty plan and I recently called in to file a claim that they needed service. An agent came to my home and did the inspection. He didn't leave any paperwork, he just said someone would call me. It's been weeks now and nothing. My husband and I hace tried numerous times to contact the warranty and it's just a long wait and no answer. I've called the store where I made the purchase and they said they would send out an email. This has been a nightmare. I don't expect to make any future purchases at bobs. The warranty plan is a joke as well.

Bob's Discount Furniture Customer service

I have a 2 seat sofa and the matching 3 seat sofa... I had the goof proof warranty. My 3 seat sofa was damaged, so they refunded me for that.
When I went to reorder it, they advised me the set I have is discontinued...
I called customer service, and I forget who I originally spoke with. She assured me that because it was dis continued, I will be refunded the full amount, and get a new set... It did not make sense to get a different 3 seater.. It will not match.. She then put me on hold, …. Phone then hung up!
I called back, and spoke to a courtney... She told me there were no notes to my conversation prior, and that they can not refund me for a new set. She was very rude... I then asked for her manager... Charlie w 654! Her name and employee!
She was very sarcastic with me, and said there is no way they can refund me for a whole set... I don't want a whole set.. I only wanted the 3 seater that matched what I have now... And what I was promised with the other girl I spoke with.. I continued by saying this set is discontinued... And I cant not get something that does not match my 2 seater.. That is why I am forced to get a new set... And what the original girl promised me... She continued to be rude... And there was nothing she can do... What gets me sooooooooooo completely ticked off is that I was told one thing from one rep... Then another from her... And there were no notes made to my conversation with this mysterious person I spoke with... I will never shop here again... And spread the word as much as I can!

Bob's Discount Furniture chase

We purchase a product at Bobs store that was displayed on the floor with cash. They explained that I cannot remove the merchandise off the floor because the store is closing. We went to the store the next day to pick up the chair, we found out a sales associate of sales rep sold the same chair which we already purchased with cash to another customer. The chair was a gift for my baby shower, I am 8 months pregnant. So my husband and I spoke to the manager (steve) who explained they will order another chair for us because they do not carry the same color we already purchased. We explained it doesn't match the rest of our furniture. They told us well that's all they have!

So we agreed and they said we should come get the chair in a week. When we called to pick up the chair, the manager said another week. And we agreed again, then when the next week came we found out they don't have any more chase(chairs) in their warehouse! Can you believe this? This is as thus far the WORST level of customer service I have ever encountered!

They offered a refund which manager states I will get by Monday but I found out the refund is coming by Friday.

So Bob, I give you NO STARS! You don't deserve it!
