On Thursday June 22, 2023 I purchased a family size of Bob Evans mash potatoes from Walmart. My wife was eating and she noticed that it had several small black pieces inside, luckily for her she had only eaten small amount. I have purchased this product several times and this was the first time we've experienced this. Does anyone know what these are, or how to find out what they are. After reading other people's comments I now realize that this is an on going problem with this product and I refuse to purchase it anymore.

I bought and have been buying the mashed potatoes, LOVE them but lately they have been full of garbage! At first I thought it was just flecks of skin, knowing you guys can't get 100% of the skin and a lil skin doesn't hurt but today I was making my casserole and pulled MANY CHUNKS of black potato. I took pictures because the price of everything right now and ya get crap like that. Not a happy camper Bob's people.

My wife and I went to the Bob Evans on Western Avenue in Chillicothe, Ohio. Our waiter was obviously under the influence of something. When he finally came to take our drink order, we had to repeat it TWICE, and he STILL got it wrong. We overheard an elderly lady behind us tell the same waiter that her drink was wrong. His eyes were red and glassy. Not only that, I had 2 ants on the table and 1 crawling up my leg. We just had to get up and leave. We’ve always loved that restaurant. What happened?

recently bought a family size Bob Evans original mashed potatoes that was not any good. They were really running and had lumps of something all through them. I usally purchase your potatoes several times a month and have never had any issues, and normally wouldn't complain but at over 5 dollars a container I feel like I needed to . Purchased the Sour Cream& Chives potatoes from the jewel in Algonquin Il. Have purchased item before and did notice the quality was going down hill. This purchase was made since I was on a time crunch for potatoes. The potates were not only so soupy you could drink it with a straw But also had so many lumps in there felt like and old potato was just tossed in there. I was so unhappy with the product this time I am not able to get over it. I will not be purchasing this product again.

The mashed potatoes family size [protected]:19KCLI) was so runny you could almost drink it. It was like lumpy gravy. This has happened the last 2 times I purchased this item. There is no excuse for this. And a few times before that were so hard I had to add milk and butter make them so you can eat them. If this is the way your products are going to be I will purchase a different product.

I've been buying these for years with no issues. However I purchased 2 packages of individual servings (2 in each package), of mashed potatoes. I heated them as directed and all 4 containers were like thick milk. Of course since they were cooked and opened I'm unable to return them. Very disappointed and waste of money. I'm not sure if it's just a bad batch or not. Hoping it's just a bad batch. I really like the individual servings and taste is great. I have the use by 07/22/2023 KCL5, UPC [protected]. Only one because I threw the other away thinking it was just a fluke but when the 2nd package did the same thing, I decided to write to let you know. Wish I would have kept the other and took pictures to show you.

This occurred on May 24 at about 6:30 p.m.

At all Bob Evans I've been to in over 25 years, usually salads are prepared behind closed doors and then brought out and put on the counter beneath the window where other orders are placed and until the server is ready to bring it out to the customer. I view this as very unsanitary as other servers are touching and moving the dish, reaching (hoovering) over it to get orders on the higher (warming) counter, flinging their heads and hair around to look up at the on-screen orders, moving items around and over to prepare other orders, and so on. To make matters worse, as I sat and fumed, watching all this play out, another couple in a booth were leaving and a biscuit was somehow dropped on the floor. One patron stepped on the biscuit and dragged it on the floor without knowing. He waited to tell the same server I had. The server scrapped up what he could with his hands. Then he proceeded to clear tables, wipe them, and carry dishes to the back. I finally made eye contact and called the server over to explain my concern about unhealthy practices, including not washing hands after all of this. After doing two more things that I noticed he did after that, he finally went and picked up my contaminated salad and brought it out. I was left looking at and wondering what foreign matter had been or could have been deposited in the salad. This should be part of a training in which employees are made aware that hand washing is necessary as well as other practices that should be implemented when handling customer food (not just washing when they go to the bathroom (which I have my doubts about as well). And I've seen servers play with their hair, cough, sneeze, and blow their nose while on duty and handling food. This is unacceptable. I will close by noting the rapid decline of many employees with regard to service and attitude at many Bob Evans I have been to for years. I will say the food continues to be overall good and is the best and most reasonable deal in town. But even my attitude about the food is compromised as I think about what I have just relayed in this memo. By the way, it's outrageous that you have several hotlines and are told you are first or fourth, etc., in line. Than after waiting for many, many minutes, a voice says we can't take calls right now, and you must hang up and use the on-line. After reading all the concerns here, I am not surprised that staff are overwhelmed with calls and concerns. Question is, when is Bob Evans going to do anything about them?

We went to Bob Evans in Lewisburg West Virginia. The waitress that first waited on us to our order and then left her shift and didn’t tell us she was leaving. We sat there for 35 minutes waiting for someone to come check on us and our order. In the meantime, a couple had just come in after we sat there for 35 min. And got their meal within 10 min. By a different waitress. I had to get up a find someone to tell them our waitress was not around and hadn’t checked on us. Then another waitress said she was taking over for the one that left. She finally brought our food after 45–50 minutes. My husband’s summer salad was horrible and my soup and sandwich was not all that. They never came to bring us our bill so my husband just went up to the front to pay. He told the person all the issues we had and didn’t apologize or offer a discount. We will never go back to that Bob Evans again. Another family walked out because they had been waiting just for someone to seat them. Very poorly managed. We have eaten at other Bob Evans and have never experienced this.

I had bought a family size bob evans mashed potatoes box on 5/17/2023 from this Albertsons (7300 N La Cholla Blvd, Tucson, AZ, 85741, United States) and when eating the mashed potatoes out of the box I had choked on this hard black solid thing that looked like a rock. I didn’t really think that there was going to be anything hard as such in my food because mashed potatoes have a smooth consistency so when I ate it I didn’t chew much and swallowed. Also there is no warning label nor anything in the ingredients that states that there is anything hard inside the bob evans mashed potatoes container. This occurred around 8 pm that same day (5/17/2023). Also I was not eating anything else but the bob evans mashed potatoes from the company’s container.

5/15/2023 @ 5:00 pm We all agreed. on Bob Evans for dinner. We got seated immediately, because there were only a couple people there.

We gave are order, mine was Potatoe soup and half sandwich and my daughter order just the Potatoe soup. my two grandchildren ordered the piggy pancakes and the other ordered the turkey.

After waiting we was told they are out of Potatoe soup and ask us to re order something else. So my daughter order a fork & knife turkey and I just ordered the whole sandwhich.

When served we didn't get what we ordered she got the big turkey meal and when we got the bill they charged us for what they served us.

What is the purpose of issuing a reward through our phone app for 20% off if you can't use it when checking out? The manager said he couldn't apply it because there was nothing there to scan. He said we had to print it through our email to get a bar code. This is very inconvenient and doesn't make any sense to me. Why send it over our phone if you can't use it?

When I went to pick up my breakfast, I opened it when I got home. What I found was a crumbled up biscuit on top. You couldn't even pick it up. The egg whites were not done. The potatoes were not even brown. I have never gotten such a horrible breakfast from here. I was completely disappointed. This was at the restaurant on 4th st in Mansfield ohio. Ended up throwing it in the trash... What has happened to your cooking? Used to be my favorite place.

It is four of us employees (at the location 40 Sharts Dr, Springboro Ohio) that are having an issue with Kyle Nuscher. He picks on everyone when the higher ups aren’t around and he’s made the environment unbearable. Every day he works he makes someone cry or picks on them all day. That is not an environment anyone wants to be in, especially teenage girls. He makes them uncomfortable and feel unwelcomed. He has made two of the young girls put their two weeks in, with the four of us ready to as well. If this problem is not solved, we will leave. It is already severely understaffed, due to Kyle. He’s made two new hires walk out just with the comments he makes to them and about them. This report will remain anonymous.
