Bob Evans take out

Call the Amelia location at 8:20 PM on Saturday evening to order a chicken dinner was told they could not take my order because the grills were shut down at 7 o'clock they weren't taking orders because they had to get them clean by the time the store closed now if you're open until 9 o'clock then you're open until 9 o'clock you don't clean the grill at seven I'm going to tell my friends to not use bob Evans!

Also when I called and got a hold of the manager amd was a woman she was flagrantly nasty didn’t care about my complaint didn’t care that I was going to call corporate had no care in the world

Bob Evans potato soup

Why do they now serve Bob Evans potato soup with the potatoes raw and uncooked...they didn't use to, but for the last year or so, when I order their potato soup, the potatoes are raw...is that the way Bob Evans makes soup now? We go to Bob Evans quite often, either done in or pickup, and my family is a big soup lover... potato being one of our favorites, but the raw potatoes is a real turn off. Is there anyway the soup can go back to what it used to be?

Bob Evans amount of food

This evening I went inside to eat ordered the turkey & dressing meal with mashed potatoes gravey carrots, rolls and pepsi but I had 18 baby carrots (Thought that was crazy looked like a veg tray) mashed potatoes gravy and 1 1/2 slices of turkey om top of a small amount of dressing. It was like a kids meal and I asked the server why does the picture show 4 slices of turkey and you deliver 1 1/2 slices? She acted like it was not a big thing and said have no idea. Well if you are picturing the 4 piece chicken you would not want 2 pieces when it arrived so I paid $10.99 fr carrots and 1/1/2 pieces of turkey and a little dressing and potatoes. Here is my information to prove I was there but very dis satisfied with product CHIP CARD AID A0000000031010 ATC 0553 TC D8A8856890BOD8D2 invoice [protected] total was $14.49 plus $2.89 tip total $17.38 Wasn't going to leave tip but not the servers fault te cook ot store policy don't show 4 pieces and only get 1/1/2 Thats like showing a car buy it but does'nt come with sterring wheel

Bob Evans lousy baked potato and awful pot roast sandwich combo

The baked potato was so old that it was hard as a rock, over steamed, and had dried out to the point I spent my eating time trying to find any part of the potato that was worth eating. Then the sandwich came and it was nothing but carrots.

I have the ticket #: MID:[protected], dated 12/20/19 at 1:14 PM at table 14/4 with Kellie as server.

I complained before and got an email saying the manager of the restaurant would be in touch...that was 5 days ago. Unless he is thinking of contacting me by carrier pigeon he isn't going to take the time.

I will never eat in your restaurant again. I also purchased a loaf of pumpkin bread and when I got it home, it was so dry and old my husband said to throw it away, which I did. Total ticket including a tip was $17.98. I am retired on a pension and cannot afford to throw money away on bad food.

Everyone who is commenting my husband beat me up because of this. Did you know that. My husband beat me up over this. He was so upset that he started drinking. We then got into an argument and he beat me up. He blamed me for what happened.

I see. You find my attitude unacceptable? I find your comments inappropriate because you have no idea just what my attitude is or isn't. You don't know me from a pile of dirt so until you have spent your hard earned money and gotten lousy service and lousy food, I would be interested in just what you would do or say.

You are absolutely right. I should have spoken up immediately. I just couldn't believe a restaurant would serve such awful food. The longer I was away from that food the madder I got. I have complained to BE Corporate office the day this happened. I had no idea the pumpkin bread was so old and dried out as it had an expiration date in February, 2020. I guess what really honked me off was the fact that I had looked forward to sitting down with a group of my friends and enjoying a good lunch and was sorely disappointed.

He was the one I purchased the bread for so when he said it wasn't fit to eat, I took him at his word. I am still waiting to hear from the local BE's manager. I received an email from Corporate that he would contact me about my complaint. I have a feeling he won't contact me at all. It is hard to apologize to an 78 year old customer who has a complaint.

There was no proof. A lot of these people lie and claim their food was terrible. Then they eat the food that was "stale" and :hard" and demand a refund. There was nothing wrong with her food.

Also when I purchased the bread which was stale, I purchased it for him. He was so upset by the stale bread that he started drinking. Then he beat me up. WE were arguing. He beat me up. He called me the B word and said that if I check the bread for staleness this would not have happened. He said it was my fault the bread was stale and dry.

Bob Evans got charged for something we did not order

My husband and I went the Bob Evans on howe rd. Akron, Ohio order breakfast buttermilk pancakes sauage bacon. The problem was the pancakes. waitress brought 4 pancakes for me and 4 pancakes for him. I said to her this is alot of pancakes we did not order 4 pancakes a piece. I ask her do these usally come like this she said yes. She could have told us you can order 1 2 or 3 we only ended up eating only two pancakes. The bill came up to 30.00 dollars. spoke to the manager about it she could care less basically now we know to ask for 1 2 or 3. She said next time you know I told her were being charge for 4 pancakes we didnt order. well you ll know next time. December 28, 2019 around 9 in the morning. My name is Sandra Shavers [protected] I desire a refund for pancakes we did not eat or a gift card for breakfast for me and my husband. Thank you. Waiting for you reply

They are not mind readers they do not know how many pancakes you want. How hard is it to tell them before. Why should you get a refund when you purposely forgot to tell them how many pancake you wanted. It is obvious what you and your husband are doing. I bet you took the other pancakes home. Shame on you. Not only do you want a refund on the pancakes that you did not eat but a gift card as well. More shame. Basically you want more than you spent. You obviously planned this.. Honestly if you cannot afford to eat out either : Make your own pancakes or visit a soup kitchen.

Bob Evans bob evans original mashed potatoes

We bought 2 packs of potato's yesterday as we normally do, the first one was very clumpy and would not cook right, and the second one was the same. In the second pack of potato's we found a piece of plastic about an inch long that could've cut someone's mouth if eaten. We are so disturbed and disgusted.We have never seen that in these potato's and do not want to continue to buy them.

Bob Evans dining experience and fried chicken dinner

Ordered a chicken dinner it was ok at best mashed potatoes fair, only had about 3 drops of gravy chicken chewy gristly but a lot of batter on Brest and wing, the server thou nice never takeS away salad bowels or ask if you need a refill on my wife's coffee or my drink I asked for a couple extra napkins finally got them overall just very sub standard I still left a tip over 15 percent but very dissatisfied we always liked bob Evans but the last time in princeton wv and broadview height Ohio very disappointing .meals and service James hufford canton ohio [protected]@aol.com.

Ordered the Brioche French Toast and when served, it had the residual taste of onion and was mushy in the middle. I was hungry & ate it anyway but should have stopped at 1 bite, as the taste in my mouth lingered until I could brush my teeth!

What was so disappointing is this was a Veterans Day 'freebie' and I didn't send it back because I feared a kitchen reprisal. Also disappointing was that I had to pay for a drink in order to get the 'freebie' so it wasn't really free. I did agree to their policy of buying a drink, but just want to make clear this was not completely free. I try to only drink water at all of my meals, so not just something I do when ordering out.

I did leave the waitress a $3 tip, as it wasn't her fault but was disappointed again when checking out. I told the cashier of my onion tasting french toast and she just shrugged her shoulders.

Bob Evans has been scratched off the list off places to eat.

Bob Evans manager

I ordered the shunshine skillet and it came out just as scrambled eggs and hash browns. Our server Tina took it back to the kitchen because she knew it wasn't made correctly and the cook told her it was so she brought it back and I said well I at least want cheese so she brought me a side of cold cheese. She did have the manager stop by which again said it was made correctly. I said that's not what the menu stated. We were in a hurry so I did not take her up on her offer of remaking it. Tina did an excellent job of handling the situation but the manager could use some customer service training. I brought some people for their first time and this was not the experience that will get them to return.

Bob Evans food was bad, manager laughed and hung up

Thanksgiving November 28, 2019. I purchased a 4 person turkey dinner. We would always get the turkey dinner when we come in to eat. We all liked it. So we all had fixed our plates, my husband loves the cranberry relish so he had a container and took a bite he said something is wrong with these cranberries, they were fermenting in the container they were purchased in. They were actually Foaming and bubbling. So we pushed them to the side and didn't eat them. After dinner I called to tell the manager that she should maybe take the cranberry relish and check it out because the 2 containers I purchased was fermenting and I didn't want anyone to get sick from it. She actually laughed and hung up the phone like it was a joke. We have photos of the containers of fermenting cranberries. An hour later I started feeling bad I had an upset stomach and I threw up my dinner my husband started feeling bad he got sick as well, And my 81 year old father that is in good health has never thrown up that I know of called me and said he was getting sick throwing up as well at that point I knew we all had food poison from the turkey dinner. After the manager laughed and hung up on me for the cranberries I was not calling them back at that restaurant so I called corporate left a message for someone to call me back that we had gotten sick and wanted to tell them about the rude manager that laughed that I was trying to make sure no one gets poisoned from the fermented cranberry relish they were serving. That was Monday morning it's now Friday evening a week later still no phone call. To make things worse my father had ran into couple friends the next day they had Said they had went to the same bob evans on thanksgiving and when they got home had started throwing up their food as well. God only knows how many people got sick from that food that day. And you bob Evans could not even bother to call me back to make sure we were ok. what kind of business is this that does not care about their customers especially after I had left a message that my whole family was violently ill from our thanksgiving dinner I purchased from your bob Evans in Delaware. also I want you to know that between my husband and myself we have over 50 plus years In the hospitality business my husband is a retired chef.

Bob Evans restaurant was very dirty

After the seater wiped off the table we used our own "Wet Ones" to clean the table while other staff watched and smiled. The table was sticky with syrup and had been wiped off with a sour smelling cloth that left a residue. Fortunately I wiped off my chair before sitting on something greasy.

The floor was filthy and had neither been swept nor vacuumed. It was the same under nearby tables which had not been cleared of dirty dishes. There were very few people in the restaurant when we visited at 6:00 pm on 12/1/2019.

My wife ordered a salad which was supposed to have hot grilled chicken. The chicken was cold and very dry. I ordered the steak/egg Benedict. I asked to have the eggs over medium, the steak medium, and asked to have all peppers and onions deleted. The eggs were slimy and not done, the steak was well done tough and dry, the the entire Benedict was covered with peppers and onions.

The server was gracious and apologetic, we did not see a manager. We drove 20 miles to Wapakoneta from our home for our Sunday meal at Bob Evans. We were very disappointed. My wife and I work part time in food service and we are often responsible for the cleanliness of a dining area. I do not think our comments are unjust. I will be submitting a complaint to the Health Department as I can only guess about the cleanliness in the food preparation area.

We have eaten at this restaurant for years without concern. You have a serious management issue. When I posted on local Facebook many others reported problems at the Wapakoneta restaurant.

Bob Evans service

First of all, I stood there waiting to be seated. I was told "we will get with you" with no welcome. Then they bypassed me and seated a couple who came in after me. I waited at my table for a while and finally got some coffee. It was like pulling teeth to get a refill. Poor waitress was overworked and I heard the age old expression "we're understaffed". The omelet was not well-made and the meal was done half-hazard. I usually never complain and I know nothing will be done in my behalf. Just to let you know

Bob Evans poor service / experience

I just arrived back from dinner at Bob Evans. Last year we had a good experience and decided to go again this Thanksgiving. We understand that it is a sy time, however, from the moment we were seated, the service or should I say a complete lack thereof, began as we waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and take our drink orders. Finally we flagged down a manager who took our drink orders. Then we waited for someone to come and take our dinner order. Finally a waitress took our order, including desserts that we wanted to go. After quite another long wait our food finally arrived. There was no complaint about the food. We never saw our waitress one after the food came and no one asked if we wanted more bread or a refill of our drink. As we sat waiting we watched other customers sitting at their table with no one taking drink orders for acknowledging them at all. Many had to flag someone or get up and go to the counter to ask. The people next to us asked a waitress to help them and she said that wasn't her table and walked away. Most everyone was complaining of the lack of service. When we were readyt to leave we had to flag someone down to vget our desserts and bill which took some time. When I went to pay the bill, the manager asked me how everything was. I told him. He said it was due to shift change and was sorry. I told him we had arrived at 2:05 (we checked out at just before 4:00)and that was not change of shift. I suggested that he take this year's problems and try to find a solution for next year. He made no response. However, all those that were waiting in the slow moving long line to checkout started to complain about their service and one even said her food arrived cold. I own several businesses and try to offer constructive and accurate comments when I have an issue. I believe that the manager sets the tone for any business and he tone of this restaurant today was terrible. Many people around us said they will not be back to this restaurant. I guarantee that we will not return.

Bob Evans food quality

first of all let me say I love Bob Evans, BUT its been almost a year since I've been back to this location because of the poor service we were getting each time we came, however today I decided to try carry out and bring it back to work on my lunchbreak. I arrived to have only one check out person, which was at the carry out with a long line because the orders were missing items and she had to keep going to the kitchen and get the items. So my 5 minute pick up was 20 minutes waiting. When I got my Wildfire Chicken salad, and arrived back at work, I sat down and did not have any dressing. This is inexcusable. How disappointed I am. This will be my last and final trip to this location.

Bob Evans manager

After reading all of the other complaints and reviews, I don't expect that my complaint go far.
On Saturday morning 11/23/19, I placed an online order for a family meal, for later (6:00PM). When I submitted my order, the confirmation pick up was 10:00AM. The location is, 1101 Louis and Clark Parkway Clarksville, Indiana 47129. I immediately called to point out the problem, and was given the manager. I told him about the issue. His response was " the order is already being prepared, I guess we will have to throw it away. Next time call as soon as it happens.) I informed him that I did call as soon as it happened. He disputed that. I asked him if he was calling me a liar. I mean, why would I lie about that? He told me to take my business elsewhere. Ok, that works for me. My average order is $30.00 per visit. Believe me, I am passing this info to everyone, and I know a lot of people nationwide. Customer service no longer exists in the fast food industry, and one by one, the restaurants disappear. I hope Bob Evans goes away in the very near future.

Hi my name is Patty otruba phone number [protected] I'm calling to file a complaint because this has happened twice and I will never order from Bob Evans again tonight I placed an order at approximately 7:40 for a pot roast dinner and a chop steak dinner at the oak springs road location in Washington PA they said it would be done by 8:15 we get there by 8:20 go in to pick up our food they say it's not there try the Bob Evans on Chestnut Street in Washington PA I call that location it's not there another time we ordered from the Bob Evans online at the McMurray restaurant once again ordered the food they gave us a pickup time went to the restaurant food wasn't there so either your employees need some training and or manners or when they see it's getting close to closing time they're too lazy and just throw the orders away or something I could see this happening once but twice no way I will never order anyting from your restaurant chain again it is a joke and this kind of stuff should never happen and I hope this goes through the proper channels and doesn't slide through the cracks like so many other things do thank you

My wife and I dined at Bob Evans restaurant this afternoon as we often do on Sunday, we were seated and waited approximately 15 minutes for someone to come over and ask us what we wanted to drink . At that time we thought we better go ahead and order our meals if it was going to be a while for her to bring that out as well . Again we sat there for another 15 minutes or so without anyone asking us if we wanted anything and then our meals came out. The food was very good as usual. Although I thought it was odd that no one ever asked us how things were, from the server to the person who checked us out to the manager who was walking around tables but didn't stop at ours .
In summary I thought I should report this to someone, we eat at Bob Evans all the time and never had a problem until today . And we are not sure of that it's an experience we want to repeat .

Bob Evans service

Waited 20 minutes before I even got my order taken. Food came 20 minutes later cold. Another customer walked out. Manager ould care less.. Finally called manager over. He then took my order.. The waitress was black. As soon as a black man was seated she came over and took his order. She came by and said to me... Sorry. I got held up! By what? Your job? Bob evan has gone to dogs.. Sad

We were at the 2199 Riverside Dr. location in Upper Arlington (#414) on 11-15-19 around 6:15 pm.
The server, Collen, was polite, but service wasn't good.
1. Didn't receive our rolls
2. Server let us run out of drinks
3. Server didn't come back to the table until giving us our bill and pick up our plates
4. Server spilled my coffee putting it onto the table. It was just a little, but when putting our dinner down was a little harsh putting onto the table.
5. I wasn't asked if I needed creamer either.
I only gave a 5% tip because of this, but normally give 20%.
Let me say the food was great.
Just wanted to share so you can help out this young man.
We will go back to this location for the food.

Bob Evans bob evans roll sausage

On Nov 5 2019, I made a purchase of your sausage. So next morning I open package and saw something with a dark red substance, my stomach got upset & I was nauseous rest of morning! I'm not sure about your product at this point in time. I need some type of payment for the inconvenience and time & money for product & transportation back to store where I made the purchase! Very disappointed customer of many years!

Bob Evans mashed potatoes.

I actually usually love their mashed potatoes but these has some weird thing in it almost like a nail it was gross! Now can't eat them. I literally didn't swallow the bite in my mouth! I spit it out. I literally just bought them a two days ago and they weren't even close to expiration. I scared to eat anymore. Has anyone had this problem? It almost looks like a stick or a nail.

Bob Evans all the food was lukewarm. the only thing was good was the salad

I ordered Turkey and dressing and all of it was luke warm there were other people saying that there mashed potatoes were cold. Every time I go in to store #94. Everything is warm including the coffee. I quit going to the Norwalk store because of the same thing. So that being said I'm not going back to the Sandusky store either because it's the same [censored] ever time. I used to love going there. But not any more
