BJ's Wholesale Club Tire Department

The tire department at your Bj's locations need at least two people working; I purchased my tires from Bj's and for months have been trying to get an appointment to have the tires rotated. I have spoke to the manager on duty and still have not been able to get an appointment.

Desired outcome: Customer need a way to set an appointment on line if Bj's is not going to hire help in the tire department.

BJ's Wholesale Club COMPLAINT on a store operations - 0210

On the days that they have people working on the floor, the way
to while away the time on the clock is by harassing customers by taking
their cart away when the customer goes for a quick 2 minute bathroom run.
Gone only 2 minutes and my cart with items in it, simply disappears.
And it was not even put away in the hold area. I had left the cart away from the middle
of the isle, to a side.
Can the associates use their time on the floor for a more purposeful cause? -
Like helping the customers for a change?
Ps: it takes 45+ minutes for 3 people, including the manager, to report back to
me on the proceedings for status, without any intermittent communications.
Stand for 45+ minutes and wait to be given information on what is going on after
multiple inqueries.

BJ's Wholesale Club Propane fill service sucks!

I recently brought some tanks of propane to be filled at bjs.mt auburn, auburn maine ! What a run around and crooked fiascle ! The tanks were purchased brand new this past summer well your so called advanced equipment experts refused to fill them and tried to sell me new tanks for a lot more claiming my tanks were expired ! The first tank i took to them had a date stamped into the tank 10-17 and a small sticker from the retailer that i purchased it from dated 7 -21 ohh well see that 17 stamp its 5 years old we cant fill 5 year old tanks they have to be certified every year ! I said that makes zero sense and (maine state law agrees with me )it has a certification sticker none the less i said ok ill be right back. I came back with a tank stamped 11-20 and i had just bought that one a month earlier ! it had a white inspection tag nov 21 a black kid came out and said he couldnt fill the tank he claimed he couldnt read the 21 on the tag then he told me the tank looked like it was awful old you could clearly see 11 -20 stamped into the tank ! He sat there telling me it was a 10 not a 20 then he gives a totally different story and says it needs to be certified every 8 years and the certification sticker needs to be no more than 5 years old both their stories were contradicting one another he then says looks like your sticker was put on 10 years ago! even though the tank was a month old literally ! totally pissed cause i knew they were playing games attempting to screw me over there is no possible way they could be this incompetent i ended up having them filled at a local hardware store for 2.00 less than bjs fill offer of 13.00+/- change the guy at the hardware store told me all the actual laws and showed me the book ! tanks i brought to be filled were fine ! they were no more than 5 to 7 years old max ! State law takes them out of service at 12 years as your sign on the cage stated ! Your atrendants knew zero about the sign on your cage i asked they said it didnt apply to me, and i think the black guy said ohh thats just a reminder of when we need to change our holding tank out its for us not you! ? petros hardware minot ave auburn had zero issues filling them he then said yeah they are pushing to sell new equipment their managers are desperate for equipment sales even from dues paying members ! they were trying to scam you ! Yeah no kidding ! The inspection due date expires in 8 years not 5 like the first guy told me and i thought it was funny bjs has a sign right on the door stating no tanks older than 12 years old shall be filled ! Ohh that doesnt apply to you.. All of mine are around 3 years old ! If your looking to train them to steal the least you can do is have them keep the story straight ! One guy says 5 years the other every year then they cant even tell me a thing about the sign on the door that says no tanks over 12 years old shall be filled so my certifications were literally months old my tanks less than 3 years old but you are filling tanks up to 11 years old im assuming they have cert stickers like mine did ! Why are your pros saying that they dont fill 5 year old tanks then the black guy says 8 year old tanks then they say the 12 year law doesnt apply to me ? I got the laws read to me by another fill station thanks for wasting my time and lying to me ! I spent nearly 40k at bjs over the last 2 years ! I have receipts to prove it its scamming like this thats driving us to all go back to mom n pop operations like petros hardware and honestly everything i purchased from you from the 75 inch tvs to the 55 inch tvs to the apple i pads..the bulk paper towels and tp for my company i could have bought for far far less online and not had to lift a finger to bring it back to my house or shop it would have all been delivered but i felt committed to buy it from a place that employs local people ! BJ's Wholesale Club Horrible maintenance (07302 branch) for badly needed service for the Handicapped

Horrible maintenance (07302 branch) for a badly needed service for the Handicapped.
All Mobility Scooters for Handicapped are not working for Months!
Almost all scooters' keys are broken!
At one point they managed to have these scooters move despite the broken keys...only for a short while. Now all of their scooters are not working!
One of the managers claim that they are still waiting for parts!

BJ's Wholesale Club Tires

I went to get 2 tires put on and one of the studs was stripped so they didn't want to take off the lug nut. They said if they broke the stud I couldn't drive the car it would be unsafe with out all of my lug nuts. Then I asked if they could just fix it and they said no because they don't do that there. I said really you can change my tires, but can't fix the stud or nut? They said no because we are not a full service mechanic. Well they should be able to do this since the studs and lug nuts are needed to hold the tires on. I am now being incovienced because I have to go someplace and have this fixed and then go back to Bj's for my tire. So a 1 hour appointment is turning in to days of service. Not fair that I am being incovienced.

BJ's Wholesale Club New membership

Activated new $55.00 membership that offered $40 rebate via a Visa debit reward. Paid w/ my Visa. Recently received the Visa debit card, called to activate & found out that it only has $15.00. l feel like I've been cheated as I would never have signed up for this $40 fee considering I've declined many $25 offers for several years . The only reason I did this time is I thought .y membership would be $15 NOT $40 and I only wanted card to save on gas. I live on SSA benefits (under $800) and cannot afford to purchase large quantities, nor do I have space for them. I live 40+ miles from the nearest BJ's so only go to that area once every three months for Dr. appts, therefore the $40 membership fee negates any fuel savings for me. Please issue a refund of $25, the difference from the $15 Visa I received and the $40 that was originally offered.

BJ's Wholesale Club Tire Center

I had an appointment to have Michelin tires put on my vehicle. Which were suppose to ordered by the tire center. On November 16 I arrived at tire center to be told that my tires had been sold that had been ordered for my vehicle. I was very upset because I wanted Michelin tires. I ended up with 4 Bridgestone tires, which the tire Manager (Jeff)said was as good as the Michelin.(but I only know what I wanted Michelin Tires).

I purchased a chicken parmigiana and Buffalo chicken calzone today for dinner. We cannot believe that this is something you think people should eat. It was 95% filling and horrible little chicken pieces. We were sooo excited to eat this and we're sooo horribly disappointed. My account is [protected]

I have confirmed I am being charged the bottle deposit fee of $0.05 Each on my Aspire Energy Drinks & Truly can purchases. I have tried to get the recycling deposit visiting 2 separate recycling locations (Westbury & Green Acres Valley Stream) & the machines deny the deposits. The machines state they are not valid items. -I confirm none of the cans are mutilated -I confirm all cans have clear easily readable bar codes

BJ's Wholesale Club Tire Purchasing and installation

Two of my orders canceled after few days without notification and for no apparent reason. My third order sticked. When in the tire center, I categorically said that I like tires less then a year old. The technician showed me one tire, and said the rests were like that. He in fact installed one old tire, never informed me, and I came to know only when I checked later in the day. After two calls and about 10 transfers to random people, the technician was rude, said nothing he could do and hangup in the middle. I could not be able to talk to 'tire center' manager in another call. I had to stop by only to get a verbal promise for free replacement. 3 weeks and 1k miles later, I am still waiting. Warrensville, OH branch.

BJ's Wholesale Club customer service

I was in the store in Henrietta N.Y. on Sunday 11/14/21 and made 2 returns to the customer service counter. The woman Kathy who waited on my was extremely rude and made me feel so uncomfortable. There was no one in line behind me and 3 people on the counter. But for some reason, Kathy felt it necessary to go as fast as she could to complete both of my return transactions, rip the receipts out of the register as fast as she could and slam them on the counter for me. I asked one question about a coupon I had and I was snapped at about it. She obviously was having a bad day and decided she was going to take it out on the customers. Seeing how picky BJ's is when it comes to hiring people, I have no clue as to why this woman is employed here. My membership expires at the end of December and I'm probably not going to renew because of the way she treated me.

BJ's Wholesale Club An Employee

I work at the BJ"S in Paramus, NJ and there is this team lead there that is very unprofessional. Romy does not know how to talk to employees or customers. She talks down to people and constantly saying she running this front end. I have only been with the company for two months and so many cashiers have quit after dealing with her. She gave me a warning because she was very rude and disrespectful to me and I told her not to disrespect me. She stated you don't talk back to me and than sent me home. This experience with her has me second guessing continuing with this location. She was arguing with another employee on the floor in front of customers. When she is running the front end she have several cashiers standing around talking to her or eating while in the meantime it's only 2 cashiers open and the lines are back up to the back of the store. One Wednesday she only had me open and kept walking pass me rolling her trying to get me to say something to her but instead a customer complained and said why is she meaning the only one open and you walking pass see the lines and doing nothing. They have hired cashiers and they have quit less than a month some a week. With the attitude she have this location will continue to be a revolving door.

BJ's Wholesale Club Locatelli grated pecorino romano 10.99

Purchased subject item on 9/28/2021. Opened the bag placed in container and threw away the bag. The cheese was spoiled has a sour taste to it. It had to be outdated. I discarded the container.

BJ's Wholesale Club Member Customer Service at Gateway Mall, Brooklyn 11239

Greetings,

The reason for this complaint is that I have been unable to get thru to the members customer service dept phone line at the Gateway Mall Brooklyn 11239.

This is my fourth attempt at calling on the phone to speak with someone in reference to a replacement Members Card'
My 86 year old mother; she has misplaced hers.

She has been a member for many years and would like a replacement card as she either misplaced hers or lost it.

Just so that you are aware, the phone rings continuously, there isnt a messaging service, nor recording indicating what time one should call, if the department is closed, nor a redirect, or if there are certain days they are available due to the pandemic.

Can you please advise me as to what I may do next. Thank you very much for your time.

BJ's Wholesale Club I don't know - HELP!!

9/27/21 - 1st order (#[protected]) 4 tires. My order was canceled - I don't know why. 10/01/21 - 2nd order (order # [protected]) (4) four new tires, scheduled appointment for 10/3 @ 11 AM
10/1 - 10:45 was told - 9 AM appointment was just being seen. Walked home. 10/1 @ 4 PM - no call from BJ's. I got a ride to BJ's and was told that they didn't put on the tires because they were winter tires. I asked why didn't anyone call me? I was told that someone tried (I have no voice mails from BJ's that day). The car is riding on a space-saver tire.
10/4 - I called and asked to speak with the manager (Al - I don't know his last name). Al stated that the tires that I purchased ($517.08) were not good for this area (I really just need some tires) so, he suggested a different set BUT tried to up-sell the price. It took a while, but he found 4 tires. Al stated that he had to order them, and it will take a few days. He said they order tires from Simply Tires? He scheduled me for Wednesday 10/6.
10/6 called around noon and was told that Al was in the back, and I can call back later. I asked the rep to tell him I called.
10/6 1:55 PM - I called and Al answered but didn't remember who I was or what I was calling about. After reminding him, Al stated that he just got to work, and he needed to check if the tires were there (REALLY! I was told that you were in the back hours ago - LIE). He couldn't remember what size tires I asked for, so I gave him the order number. After several uncomfortable minutes, Al stated that he would need to call me back. Well... Here it is the next day (10/7) and no follow-up phone call. I've paid for the tires ($517.08), been to your shop a few times, and spoke with BJ's manager several times BUT... still, no tires, no appointment and you still have my money!
