BJ's Wholesale Club Lifetime storage sheds

In Auburn Me store two nights ago to purchase a 8 x 15 dual entry, two window shed for $1499.00. It was originally price 1599. With a clip less coupon for $100. Sale was ending that night. Store had none in stock and wouldn't give a rain check. Called Portland Me store which had 6 in stock. Told them I would be down 1/2 hr away. They called back before I left to tell me the forklift guy was gone for the night so I couldn't pick up. He stated he would honor the price for next day. Went to Portland store to pick up and was told their price is $1899. - $100.
? I had them call the Auburn Store to confirm the $1499. Price but was told the vendor came in last night and took sale price tag away and they couldn't help me as vender changed price. What? 24 hours later and they couldn't confirm their price as it's a vendor item and they have no control of that!
I'm only asking to purchase this 8 x 15 shed for the $1499. Price that was hanging in the shed in Auburn that I couldn't get a rain check and also couldn't pay for on the phone the same night at Portland store.

BJ's Wholesale Club Inoperable mobile wheelchair carts

Today (April 14, 2021), I went to BJs located in Capitol Heights, MD. I have mobility issues. Inside this store their were 6 mobility wheelchair carts in the front of the store and all were out of order. The customer representative at the door politely told me that these carts were out of order and the 3 that were working were currently being used. I could not believe this! Why would a store have 6 inoperable mobility wheelchair carts sitting at the front of the store. I was so disgusted that I didn't bother to ask what the problem was with all of these chairs. I suspected that none of them were charged. Shame on management for failing to look after their customers that need this service.
The least they could do is remove the inoperable chairs from the front of the store and place the working chairs up front that are ready for use. It would have been a different experience if the customer rep told me that all the available chairs are in use. But to see 6 inoperable chairs sitting at the front of the store is simply inexcusable. I wonder how this is in keeping with the intent of the ADA act, I had to cut my shopping very short because I cannot walk far distances or stand for long periods. I was really disappointed. Unfortunately, it makes one feel that the quality of service and care for the customer is based on major clientele patronizing the store. Yet, I can go to the BJs in Bowie, MD and find a totally different atmosphere which has a different major clientele patronizing its store. It's sad.

Desired outcome: Get the chairs fixed ASAP and/or make certain that the chairs are charged every night and during the day when necessary. Take care of your patrons. No excuses.

BJ's Wholesale Club refund for renewall that was unauthorized

on 3/1/21 a deduction of $55.00 was deducted from my account. Called to dispute, gave team member my information was told would be refunded within 13 days, spoke with George. 3/4 called was told would be refunded within 12-15 days was processed on 3/2/21. On 3/11/21 spoke with Adrea will be completed on 16th was given his ref#3992367. 3/16/21 was told it was processed on 5th should receive by 3/19/21. 3/19/21 was told has not been processed asked to speak with manager, Peter. Peter returned my call gave my account information new ref#4074889. 3/23/21 Peter called payment has been refunded, as of 3/24/21 no refund will see in 4 to 7 days. This is outrageous, they have lied for almost a month. it is only 55.00 but it is my 55.00. this is the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with. I will need to go to another source, it this is not resolved shortly.

Wednesday, March 24, 2021, my son and I visited BJ's at 12190 Lake Underhill Rd. Orlando, FL 32825.

Disappointed that the unsweet Leaf Tea that was advertised was no where to be found and/or an employee to ask. The Tropicana Lemonade was as well unavailable.

I went out of my way to shop at BJ's for these items but nothing would have prepared my son and I for the unprofessional aggressiveness and tone from your employee while we were trying to exit the building.

We walked up to your employee at the exit approximately 6' from the exit and handed your employee the receipt for the product's I had just purchased. He walked to the front of our cart, checked a few things. While waiting for your employee to finish acting like he was doing something important, my 27 year old son's defective mask slid down his face when we attempted to exit. Your employee, still in front of our cart demanded that my son put his mask back on, so he did. Your employee remained in front of our cart. My sons defective mask slid down once again while we were trying to leave. Your employee continued to block our right to travel freely. Your employee got nasty and his voice became violently demanding that my son wear the mask until we were outside the building. Not wanting to start a confrontation, which I'm sure your employee was escalating, we pushed the cart around him and left.

This action by your employee is not acceptable. We felt physically threatened and fearful of your employee.

I demand that the money I spent renewing my membership to be refunded. If you feel the need to prorate, then prorate for the one or two months that I have had my renewed membership.

Suggestion;

Maybe you should have a box of masks at the station by the door. Offer a mask to your customer if their mask has become defective. Then can your customer safely take the 4 steps to exit your wholesale club.

you learn that when you have an appointment that you have confirmed verbally would arrive in a few hours and
that you have checked with a client on a Tuesday April 20 from11 to 3 and you also verbally confirm delivery that morning you honor that commitment. I called in ay 3 pm asking where my delivery was? I was told that the 400 lb pergola hadn't even left FLORIDA for delivery to N Carolina. So for 4 hours I sat around waiting like a shmuk for four hours haven taken the time off from work and didn't even get a courtesy phone call advising me that there would be no delivery today, To make things even wore every time I tried calling BJs not only could I not get an American agent/supervisor I was
Placed on hold multiple Tims for over over 50 minutes while some poor agent with broken English representing BJs was unable to find a supervisor.
I was promised a call back in 24 to 72 hours, really, that long to follow up with a client. Which by the way never happened. Ill tell you this, thIs would not have happened at COSTCO.So I waited until Friday April 24th and was still not able tO get thru to an American rep and after being put on hold twice with almost an hour of hold time I gave up. BJs is trying to save some money by using foreign call centers and the lack of service shows. Bjs is a making it almost impossible ti get thru a competent supervisor and the complete lack of service shows. Bjs use of their “white glove delivery service” Metropolitan
Is a completely unprofessional company as well. I spoke with 3 different foreign call center employees with absolutely no way of getting in touch with a supervisor other than telling me someone would get back to me in 24 to 72 hours. Is the what the new service is ? No management to speak with and maybe someone gets back to you in 2 to 3 dayS, GREAT JOB BJS I I WLL BE CANCELLING MY MEMBERSHIP AND OF COURSE YOU CAN KEEP YOUR 24 TO 72 HOUR $1100.00 PERGULA.

BJ's Wholesale Club Berkley Jensen whitening strips

I have used these strips several times and am very happy with them. I recently got another box and for some reason several of them have not stuck to my teeth had to throw them away without using. The first two I did not think to email but just had two more same things happened. I am not sure if it was just something wrong with this box. The lot of number is 303219 a.

BJ's Wholesale Club Employment

The bjs I was working at was the worst experience I have ever encountered. I have always had excellence in customer service and great work ethic. When I started working at this bjs. I saw the nastiest customers come in on a regular basis. I have never seen so many ignorant and rude people. The bjs I worked at has sets rules but they dont follow them at all. They will have workers continuously on the phones every day and theres one woman that will stay talking on the phone at the door for hours. I believe something about earphones was said but she went out and bought a smart watch and started talking in that. There is a boy that works there that wears his pants around his ankles where the customer asked if he wanted to use his belt. Why is the general manager allowing employees to go in there every day and use the phone for hrs on end while checking receipts. And they wonder why they are losing so much product. The general manager there is also naturally an [censored]. I think bjs hires people that are hard because they think maybe theyd be good at being strict. But at this bjs you have someone that dosnt follow their own rules and is just ugly to the employees. They honor expired coupons every day and when a customer is being rude to the employee and refusing to pay a membership and the surcharge they come over and honor that too for the [censored] customer. It makes no sense. Why have these rules if your going to give [censored] customers what they want. At the end alot of the workers here are quiting often or have plans to quit. This bjs will always be a cycle of ugliness and never get a head without the proper management.Coroporate. If they care at all about respect for employees and their business. They will fix things. Otherwise theyre name will eventually dissapear little by little. The general manager should have fired the people that takes phones calls every day all day because those people clearly dont respect the workplace and theyre not follwing the rules but then again this bjs doesnt follow their own rules. The customers are so nasty there. I am not saying customers dont deserve respect. But they are not giving respect so they definitly dont deserve to be honored. Employees deserve respect. If bjs doesnt care for their employees to get respect it will only get worse for that company. The general manager was not understanding when problems occured. She didnt care. She was displaying ignornace and I have power and control. It was fairness and employee rights at all. This is completely unnacceptable. Because she was a general manager im assuming that her representation of bjs is how they want to be represented. Its unnacceptable. The whole store is trash and any customer can see that as well as the employees. For whatever employees are left. A new face every week, for an old face gone. Everyone just wants to be right there and have power. Noone listens, at all. Its discusting. The employees dont follow the rules and bjs doesnt care that they dont follow the rules. This bjs doesnt even follow their own rules. If the customers treat the club members like [censored]. And bjs still honors them. How does that look on bjs and their employees as well. When does bjs show respect for their employees. After the customers are already swearing at them and complaining. And bjs comes over and praises the customer. If thats not desperate to honor [censored] customers and not value the employee then then idk what is.

BJ's Wholesale Club Unfair treatment

I bought a steamer February 18 2021. I decided to return it and I went to the store today February 28 to do it, with the item and the receipt. When I walked into the store nobody was at the entrance so, I went directly to Customer Service and made the line. The first question that the lady asked me was if someone at the entrance said something to me and I said no. She walked out of the counter and then she came back saying that they needed to check the cameras. How embarrassed was that for me because your were trying to say that I stole that. However, I asked how long I had to wait and she said 5 minutes. I wait and wait for more than 10 minutes and I asked again and then she said that the person that checks the cameras was busy. So, I got more upset and I told her that they can keep the item because I didn't want to wait more, not only for the time, but because of how embarrassed I felt. I walked out and I asked for the Manager and I told her what happened, but she only said that I needed to wait more because they need to check the cameras. I can't believe how they can treat a Customer like that. This isn't the first time that I have returned something in a store, but it was the first time that they made me feel like a thief. That is not the way to treat a Customer.

BJ's Wholesale Club HR manger Tiffany Santos is stealing selling drugs to my daughter and I was going to report it to the officerr

She bin there there for awhile and her crew smokin drinking and bad customer care pretty much and very rude for HR manger this is the one in pelham manor and it bin going on for awhile in not letting my daughter and telling my peers that that place to ghetto to shop get it together bjs it use to be safe u think even with the covid they still make everything not easy specially the HR manger Tiffany Santos

BJ's Wholesale Club Hamilton beach food processor

I purchased a Hamilton Beach food processor on jan 30 2021, but when we tried using it, it worked for a short while then it stopped. I brought it back to bjs where I was told that I can only have a store credit card but I wanted the funds to go back into the debit card I used, they insist I take a credit card I said no and I asked for a manager, which they brought over but she refused to give me my money back. I asked for my membership which she returned to me as cash no refund into debit card. I told her that if they found my purchase the date I bought it, that should be enough I kept insisting. She said she would call the cops if I didn't leave so I waited for cops no one showed up. Then she told me that she was done with me and rudely walked away her name was Ericka T. They were very unprofessional. I was not violent and did not threaten her at all the cameras at bus can prove that.
Now I have a bjs credit card I cannot use because im no longer a member.

BJ's Wholesale Club Bakery

On 01-27-2021 I visited the bj's club in fredericksburg va. I was picking up my daughter birthday cake that I had ordered two weeks prior. She had to have a jojo siwa cake. When I got there they couldn't find it they then found my paperwork and said no one checked the drawer and didn't make my cake. Why? You're a bakery how do you forget to make a cake? I was told if I could give them an hour they would quickly make it. I didn't have an hour I was having a party for my daughter and still had to pick my kids up from daycare. She then said give us 30 min. I asked if I picked a cake out the premade case could they put the jojo image on it would that make it faster. She said yes and thanked me for such a good idea. I stayed in the bakery area the whole time browsing. Waited about 30 min went back over to check and was told well we can't get the imagine to print so now i'm beyond irritated. The whole time I was waiting not one word was mentioned to me about the image not printing not one word. I asked what if I pick a different jojo image she tried that I waited another 10-15 mins and still no cake. Now it's to the point my daughter will be late for her own party and I still have to get the kids from daycare. So I just needed to go. I was beyond upset cause as a mother when you promise your 6 year old daughter a jojo cake for her birthday she knows she'll get it. I asked the woman to just write happy birthday camara on the cake cause I had to go. I've now been waiting well over an hour. She hands it to me and says yeah sorry I don't know why they didn't make it. Sorry but that sorry didn't help me and I refused people lacking on their jobs to ruin my baby girls birthday. So I went to walmart and paid an additional $13 for jojo decorations for my daughters cake. So after all I had went thru I paid full price for the cake from bjs and had to buy my own decorations this cake cost me about $30. I have always always order my cakes from bj's never again will i. I'd rather go to walmart after the way I was treated and the services I received

BJ's Wholesale Club Phone service

I want to correct my billing address on my online order. (online order time) Called phone number given by my local branch -27 minutes wait. (1st call) Hung up on me. 12/13/2020 at 7:00 pm.

Now on again...
All because the online order option messed this "easy" ordering option up.
It asked me my billing address and I put it in.
It asked me the shipping address which is different...I put it in.
My receipt shows both billing and shipping address to be the same.

BJ's Wholesale Club Grocery order pickup

We placed a couple separate grocery pickup orders for BJ's in Clay, NY, and in one of the orders, we received milk and chocolate milk with an expiration date 3 days later. We drank as much as we could, and threw it out when it went bad (past the expiration date). We didn't think much of that, but this week we put another order in and received a large 3 pack of prepackaged deli meat from the dairy department with a use by date 5 days later.

I called to complain, since it appeared to be an obvious standard operating procedure for the dairy department at this store to get rid of near expiring items to online purchasers. The manager said to just come in and get it replaced, but when I asked why this appeared to be happening so frequently with this department, she indicated they have until the date to sell the items. While likely true, I think it's a horrible business practice to their customers so that their department can meet goals of their expiring products.

My wife went in to replace, had to wait in line for 10 minutes initially, they told her to go get a replacement, she did, and had to wait another 10 minutes to swap it out.

I do not recommend using their order pickup unless you get items that don't usually have a near term expiration date.

BJ's Wholesale Club Kitchenaid artisan stand mixer

Mixer was purchased in Roanoke, VA as a Christmas present on 12/26/2019 from my mother. She made it a point to get the extended BJ Plus warranty so if anything happened I could just take it back to the store. On 11/22/20 while using it, it started smoking and got extremely hot. I went to turn it off and the switch wouldn't do anything; speed up, slow down or turn off. I had to physically unplug to make it stop. Mind you this is 5 days until Thanksgiving so all I wanted to do was get a replacement. I found the receipt and called the local BJ's here in NC. The young lady I spoke to said I would have to call Kitchenaid, I told her my receipt had the BJ's plus plan on it. She didn't ask the date or anything else, just said "oh ok, then just bring it back to the store." I went the 25 minutes down the road to the closest BJ's. I get there and they said they couldn't do anything for me. I would need to call the Asurion protection company. I told them one of their associates told me to bring it back to them. I was told that was a mistake. Once I finally was able to get a live person with Asurion, I was told they couldn't help, it was the Manufacture warranty. Between online, live chat, and the eternal hold on the phones I have now spent at least 2 hours being flipped around and on hold. My husband tried on 11/24/20 to call after waiting 45 minutes on hold with Kitchenaid he decided to call BJ's back. He spoke with Carmin who remembered not only the date of my receipt but told my husband she was the one who spoke to me on 11/23/20. She told him to bring the mixer back in at 10AM the next day 11/25/20 and she would see what she could do to replace it, even went as far as to say it may cost a little if their current mixer was more than the original purchase. So again 25 minutes up the road, he gets there today to find, Carmin is not there. He asks for the Manager and was told it was outside the 90 days and he couldn't help him. He explained the full story and got absolutely no sympathy, help or anything even though that was what Carmin told him. As if the broken mixer wasn't bad enough, now we have been lied to and inconvenienced not once but twice from the same BJ's Club. I work in the customer service industry and you honor what your employees say and make it right. I am just disgusted over the whole ordeal. I have the receipt, just not with me. I do have the time of one call made from my cell phone. the other was online and I don't have a way to show you that.

BJ's Wholesale Club Frozen chicken wings

I purchased two bags of the 10lbs Winter Creek Farms chicken wings from BJs club about a month ago. The wings was horrible, the bones was broken and bruised. It seemed like a rat attacked he chicken. How can you sell a product like this, it was a waste of money. Half of the bag was in the garbage. I cant afford to be losing money my kids have to eat. Either improve the product or take it off the market. Buyers beware do not purchase this product.

BJ's Wholesale Club No one pick up calls at tire center

I called few days everyday to reschedule the appointment but no one answer the call at all. I reached the front desk, the operator said she will have them to pick up but they never did. The website does not provide any reschedule option but refer all customer to contact the store directly. With this kind of customer service, I assume BJS stores should be close very soon. Very poor experience at BJS Valley Stream NY

BJ's Wholesale Club Customer service

I wanted to report something that occurred while our staff was supply shopping for Middletown house this afternoon. Our manager went to BJs in Manchester (which he frequently goes) to purchase items for the house. He checked out, paid with the company credit card and was waiting in line to get "rechecked" at the exit door. The three people in front of him walked right through and their carts were not checked. When our manager was next in line, the BJ's attendant Ken, pointed to our manager and said for him to wait off to the side to have his cart checked. The three others behind our manager also walked right out without their carts being checked. Once the attendant searched through our managers cart, the attendant yelled at our manager saying that there were 14 items in his cart but he only paid for 13 of them - this was false. Our manager said numerous times that the hand soap had a "X 2" on the receipt indicating that he purchased two of them. He also reiterated that he was a group home manager and he paid for everything on his company card. Another BJs attendant came over to check the cart again and told Ken that he was in fact wrong. Ken still had our manager wait for his manager to come and "assess the situation". After waiting 20 minutes the manager Mike told Ken to let our manager leave as he had paid for everything and there was nothing outstanding. Ken went back to up our manager and said "You can go, sorry for the waste of time".

our manager is extremely upset about this, as he feels that Ken was discriminating against him. our manager also pointed out that the 6 customers that walked out without being checked, as well as Ken, were Caucasian and it was unfortunate to experience such racial discrimination.

I also spoke and talked to the BJs manager that evening who was involved in the incident. I have frequented this store and have NEVER been pulled out of line for a cart count. This was a racial targeted response, our manager feels as well as our agency completely unjust, disrespectful and appalling, and we are second guessing our membership as an agency.

BJ's Wholesale Club Slim cycle exercise bike - member # [protected]

Very Poor service at the Bowie location! I placed online purchase on 10/29/20 for a Slim Cycle bike to pick-up today 10/31/2020 at 9:00 am. BJ's sends a cancelation message after I arrived at the store at 9:00 am. No one even cared to check any other nearby stored for inventory! I did my own research and found a BJ's in Pasadena MD., 15 miles away, which was stocked. BJ's should have coordinated merchandise shipments and save me all of the trouble or at the least direct me to another stocked BJ's store. Very disappointing!
