Big O Tires employment

I worked at this Big ole tire in Georgetown KY, and the 3 main guys there were fighting and arguing so much that they took the joy out of learning a new trade. So much that I honestly didn't even want to go in on most days because they put me in the middle of it. And they were making work so unbearable. I am a 43 year old man that was raised to be honest, and if these guys thought that the customer had money considering the vehicle they were driving, they would tell them that they needed brakes and other things that they really didn't need, just to make a sell. If you are a good, honest, God fearing person this is the place that you absolutely do not want to be. It became so unbearable that I eventually quit going in, and I found out a few days later through a co worker that there was so much dishonest, arguing, and absolute caous going on there that the president of the company himself had to come in, and baby-sit.because I wasn't going to return they told him that I waz the cause of all the caous, so not only did they do all of the above, they also slandered my name. I only worked at one other places where I had a tenyear, and az a former supervisor I've seen my share of childishness, but this place iz one of a kind, this iz not for retribution thiz iz to worn anyone that reads this to think about going to a place like this, because they only make their money by selling something to the costumes, which every employee get a percentage, you will go for an oil change, and ending up spending hundreds of dollars.Thank everyone for listening, and again think about what these places are trying to do, I wonder what this world iz coming to, God bless.

Big O Tires oil change

I sent my girlfriend down with a groupon for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation. She gets home and tells me they charged her an extra $33 for two quarts of oil. They took advantage of her and i'm contacting corporate and seeing what all can be done. On september 2 I went in and had my oil changed and tires rotated and they come to tell me whoever touched my tires last stripped all 5 lugnuts on my front drivers side tire. Which they were the only ones who touched it last when I bought 4 new tires this june. He then charged me for the labor and everything on those even though it wad clearly their fault. I should have not given them a second chance. I will never use an ntb/big o tires ever again!

UPDATED

I sent my girlfriend (Kayla McCoy) down with a groupon for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation (We paid through Groupon for their services). She gets home and tells me they charged her an extra $33 for TWO quarts of oil. They took advantage of her because 2 quarts of oil is no where near that much. The receipt is also very confusing. It shows a quart of oil is $7. 50 per unit and disposal fee is $3, but then was charged $33.

Also I want to add that on September 2 I went in and had my oil changed and tires rotated. They come to tell me whoever touched my tires last stripped all 5 lugnuts on my front drivers side tire. Which they were the only ones who touched it last, which is when I bought 4 new tires May 29, 2019. He then charged me for the labor and everything else even though it was clearly their fault that the lugnuts and lug stems were broke.

Also after looking back at my receipt today (my car takes the same oil as my girlfriend) and they charged me 9.99 per unit (was quoted at $7) and a $6 disposal fee (my car takes less oil then hers, so why was my disposal fee double hers) So I want an explanation of why my oil and disposal fee was more. Also I was charged the 9.99 for an extra quart of oil, when my car only "needed" 0.1qts more. Let me add that when you drain oil, you can't completely drain it all, so that 0.1qt was not even used.

I should have NOT given them a second chance. I WILL NEVER USE AN NTB/BIG O TIRES EVER AGAIN! I think they are running a shady business.

Big O Tires customer #: [protected] - front end / tires / brakes

Every time I take my truck in for a lube, oil & filter, they note on the invoice that I need some other expensive work done including tires & brakes that have been recently replaced. I've taken the truck in numerous times complaining that the front end / steering is loose. I was charged for Ball Joints, Tie Rods & 1 year Alignment Agreement in March. In Feb it was diagnosed for a power steering leak, charged for hood lift supports & struts. New tires were purchased in May 2018 w/3 year warranty but are starting to bald because the front end still has issues. I've decided to give my truck to my grandson so his mother took the truck into her mechanic and was told that it needed front suspension work, steering gear, control arms, skid plates. She was also told (and actually shown) that Big O has put new parts over old parts instead of fixing the issues, they pretty much put a band-aid on it. We've spent close to $2, 500 on tires & front-end work and still have problems, plus now we're told we need additional work done. I'd rather not go to the Better Business Bureau, but feel we should be refunded the amount paid for the front end work that was never fixed properly plus new tires that have deteriorated due to the front-end work that was not done.

Big O Tires our tire purchase and services

In December 2018 we got 4 new tires with Big O and we also purchased the Unlimited Aligment package. When we purchased our tires they did an alignment, they found some issues with some of our parts. We then went and replaced all the parts they mentioned to us then brought it back to do an alignment they then told us everything was good. After a couple of months we noticed the tires where wearing down and then we took it back in for another alignment they told us that it was the same parts that we changed before we stated to them what we did perviously and that we changed everything they also stated our tires were not covered anymore stating it was our fault the vechile did that to the tires. So they told me take my truck back to whoever fixed it and tell them they gave us faulty parts and come back and we would need to buy new tires. So we did this had everything replaced came back in and was going to purchase two new tires then i was asking about my back two tires then they made a statement to me that i would need to buy two more back tires due to them saying those tires were on out front f our truck and that they rotated them when we never brought it in for rotation so im not sure when they did this. So right now we were told we would need to purcahse all 4 tires again. It has been less than a month we had these tires and we have had all this trouble with your company. I spoke to one of the mangers on Friday Sept. 6th and he was rude and just fought me on everything and just blamed us for everything that has happened with these tires. I left the Big O's on that day and when to other tires places to talk to alignment specialist to see what could have caused this, the ones we went to told us it was an alignment issue that caused tires to get damaged. I then called the manager back and asked him about out Unlimited Alignment deal and asked since we werent going to use it any longer if I could get a partial refund then he stated that we had 2 alignments and that those cost 89.99 and was gonna charge for each on of those separate so he then stated come in right now and I will give you 50.00 cash to settle. I then asked to speak to the store owner or manager he tells me well I hardly see him he comes in once or twice a week so I don't know when he will be in. I then stated to him, is that the response I am going to get from you. He also wouldn't give me a corporate phone number to address my complaint. I would like someone to look into this I am not going to be dealing with this Manager anymore he was rude and blamed everything on us for the damage of these tires. We spent almost $ 950.00 on all 4 of tires and an Unlimited Alignment package and I fell our money went to waste we now havbe to purchase all new tires for our truck.

Big O Tires "left skid plate hanging"

I got my brake fluid exchanged and oil change done on June . Leaving i noticed my TPMS light was on. SO i went back . The mechanic, Matthew, that "worked" his name is on my car said that it would reset itself, after putting more air in my tires. Which i found out was not true. It has to be manually rest. So unneeded air was put in my tires. Then i leave again and got on the highway. Every little bump i went over my front end was scraping the ground. I called asking WTH did they do to my car. I was told, well the tires were rotated. Knowing that wasn't the reason why. Slowed down as much as possible till i could get off the highway. Looked under my car to see my skid plate hanging.
Took my car back the next day. Long story short, this is a leased car. Told them i wanted a new skid plate since it now was scraped up. Was told the manager needed to get a hold of his boss. And that his boss was not going to be happy because of a "[censored] mistake". But that he had to get permission to order a new plate. That i would hear from him the following week. Which was a holiday week. So i tried to be understanding on the length of time it was taking for them to get back a hold of me. Here it is July 22nd and still no call! so i attempted to call and speak to the manager. After calling this morning and telling the lady why i was calling, i sat on the phone for over 15 minutes to no avail. Needless to say i am pretty upset that they have not reached out to me and that i had to reach out to them. Then being put on hold. Neither of my cars will return to Big O Tires and i will definitely make sure others know of my experience at this facility.

Big O Tires theft from my vehicle

I had left my vehicle with this shop for 5-6 days to get some suspension put in. Upon picking up my vehicle, i came to notice that my rear speakers (2 15" speakers) had been removed from my vehicle. I also had noticed that a duffle bag containing my personal belonging had went missing as well. There was zero reason to be in the rear passenger seat of my vehicle. I am holding Big-O accountable for their actions and a police report has been filed as well as a report with Big-O Corporate as well.

Big O Tires big o 3 year warranty package

On May 17, 2017 I purchased 4 new wheels and tires from Big o Tires in Sonora, CA. I opted to purchase Big O warranty package. 2 weeks ago I had a flat on one of the tires. They did fix it, but the fix didn't hold. Another flat tire. They said I needed a new tire, but they don't make that tire any more. It was a Big O brand tire, and I could purchase an equivalent Cobra tire. Not wanting to have mismatched tires, I opted for four new tires, thinking they would warranty the one tire. No, they said since they don't make that tire anymore, I had to buy a new one. Outrageous ! The tires barley had 5, 000 miles and less than 3 years since I purchased them. So $620.00 later and I feel I'm being taken advantage of. I will probably never set foot in their store again unless they correct this. I have 2 vehicles and have had them both serviced there. I am very disappointed to day the least. John Swenson

Big O Tires the staff changes all the time! Whenever you call theyre supposedly booked up til the following week. I scheduled an appt for synthetic oil change & tire rotate. When I showed him the $24.99 coupon as Im checkinh in he proceeds to tell me I need the full synthetic oil $65.99 but he can give me $10 off coupon. Funny thing is my car has semi syntheic already in it. Always an upsale! Then he tells me corporate wont allow it. Heck make me sign a release! I will sign it! No wonder people use Walmart tire lube & express. No hassles... you plan your schedule for the day and it gets ruined even with a scheduled appt!

Big O Tires dishonest management

My sons father is a manager at a big o tires in the Phoenix az area . He goes by the name chop and the owners name is Mike. So listen up deadbeat parents out there. Apparently Mike allows chop to get paid under the table or anyother way they can get by not taking child support out of his checks. They have fixed it to where child support even shows up on his pay stub but they dont send the money in. Wild right? I know who would go to these lengths to pay pay child support.. anyways fella's, this is the place to apply if you want to get out of your responsibilities. Signed, a salty x wife

Big O Tires caliper replacement

So, very long story short, My local big O tires shop has mislead me and VERY much overcharged me. So mid April my car started shaking randomly. I took it in and they told me rebalancing the wheels would fix the issue. They mentioned a stuck left read caliper but said that it was not likely causing the shake. I had them do the rebalancing and the next day it started to shake again. So I take it back and look their mechanic in the eye and asked "can you assure me that the caliper is my issue?" and he said without a doubt, the caliper could be the only thing it could be. Two days later, started to shake again. Not only did they convince me to spend over $1, 300 to replace two calipers. No new rotors, pads, just calipers. $400 per caliper! I came back to the shop and told them and they pushed it onto the manufacture and said it was a recalled power steering system and since I asked for the calipers to be replaced, then its not their fault and dismissed any notion of reimbursement. Turns out, it was not a recalled system. I also asked why were the parts so expensive. I asked an employee if they were super high quality and she flat out told me no and said I was overcharged and just said sorry. That's it... Sorry? I spend $1, 300 on a job that wasn't even necessary and all I get is a sorry?! This is not okay... One, since it didn't fix the issue, it was an unnecessary repair. Two, they flat out admitted that they were ripping me off. I am beyond mad. Right now my car can't even bring me to and from work and now I have no money for repairs thanks to big O' Tires. I Immediately called the customer support line and explained the situation. I was told a claim for reimbursement was put in, yet, weeks go by and I haven't gotten any word. This is just not acceptable and if this company doesn't have the integrity to own up to this mistake and make it right, then I will! First, I'm not giving big O another dime until this is corrected. Second, I will be filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau if I do not hear from Big O tires in the next two weeks. If a few weeks after filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, then I will be bringing Big O' Tires to small claims court. If the court case is not found in my favor, then I will notify every vehicle owner I know about this situation. I will go on all social media sights, every yelp page, every platform that will accept me. I will go above and beyond to make sure that this is made right, or at the very least, no one else gets put in this situation. Thank you so much for your time.

Big O Tires mounting a tire

I got to Big Of tires at approximately 4:30pm. All I needed was a tire mounted that I purchased from Big O. The tire cost was $83.00 dollars with a total of $125.00. charging more then half the amount for the tire just to mount a tire that I bought from Big O tires. It takes no longer then 5 minutes to mount a tire. Then had to wait until 6:40 just short of 2 hours to get mounted. People came in to get there oil changed and we're serviced way faster. I even called to make an appointment prior. Will not come back, at least to the Big O tires on Lindsay and Warner! Your charge to mount a tire is extremely inflated when it comes to what you charge for labor.

Big O Tires employee about a wheel alignment

On October 13, 2018 at big O tires on Power Road and Germann Road in Gilbert Arizona. We walked into get a wheel alignment on my 2014 Audi A4. My husband, Joe, told the hispanic man at the counter we bought the tires from another big O tires on Warner and Lindsay. We went to this one becuase it is closer, only 5 mins away. The same hispanic man at the counter at Power and Germman was rude to start off with you my husband when he was asking questions about getting the wheel alignment done on my car. My husband had to ask him if he can call the other store for the paperwork to get the wheel alignment situation from that store. The gentleman said, "for sure" and kept spinning a piece of paper, dialed the number to talk to the other people at the store and still spinning the paper. Long story short, we are now driving in the rain over to Lindsay and Warner to get it done because the other gentleman at the Gilbert and Germann one said that we could not do it, which is a 20 minute ride from our house. I did not like the fact that hispanic gentleman, employee, was rude for no apparent reason. My husband and I were not at all. We will NEVER go to this one again and it is 5 mins from house.

Big O Tires nitrogen top off

Went to the Big O on North Powers in CO Springs. Their guage was not working and he let out 15lbs. Then he tells me his nitrogen pump is broken. So he fills it with half oxygen and I head to the Austin Bluffs location because their manager told me to come over and have it fixed. I had to wait 90 minutes for a bay. They didn't even pull it into the bay and properly deflate the tire they wanted to charge me 6.50 for that. I walked around to check what they were doing because it was halfway into the bay door outside in the rain and the gas was running. He deflated the tire in the parking lot and that was after I asked if he bothered to do it at all admitting to me he had not. This is beyond unprofessional.

Big O Tires loose part on my left rear tire

Good Morning, I wanted to file a complaint about an incident that occurred on 9/13/2018, because of 1 of your mechanic, forgetting to screw on a part properly I had to get my car towed back into your facility. Thank GOD me nor my child was not injured. I had brought my car in for a left rear sensory hub assemble light that kept coming on, they did finally take care of that light and it no longer comes on. But I was not happy with the fact that part was not screwed back on and put me and my child's life in danger had I been on the express way when that came loose it could have been very dangerous for us. So, I think my bill should be written off because that was too careless in my opinion. I took a little to write this complaint because I wanted to calm down before writing an complaint and not be rude when writing to you. Mark and Larry was as accommodating as they could be, considering I had to go back and forth a few times for the light issue and Ford was the ones who told me that the part they said they fixed the first time around was in fact the part that had been causing the light to be on and after that is when they actually fixed it but left a part loose that made me have to return to them needing to get a tow and a rental car it was too much inconvenience for me liking. If someone can be in contact with me about this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Kristin Black

I went in with a $19.95 oil change coupon. They inspect, rotate and top off all the usual. I was asked to go to my car. I was shown what appeared to be a broken shoe on my left rear brake. At 80, 000 miles fixing the rear breaks became a priority. Then out came an estimate for all they wanted to do! I just have been wearing my good jeans that day as they thought I might have $1, 900 dollars to spend on my $800.00 car! A new one, for me, was the fluid color compairsons. That and telling me that the break fluid smelled burnt! I got the breaks done (rear only), got the oil changed, and, got out of there! I will not go back.

Big O Tires employee

You have an employee in your new Albany Indiana area that brings vechicles that doesn't belong to him and gets parts for them. Also he does sell prescription pills to a Megan Doty on property. His name is Bumpy Nevins. He takes parts off property for these cars he is working on. Megan Doty is a known prostitute that hangs out with him. I will never again do business at your place as long as you have employees that steal and drugs on property. Also you all should really drug test him.

Big O Tires 2005 honda civic and 2007 honda civic

1 week ago my mom and I drove her car to big o and they said 78.00 to put altinator belt on, as usual within an hour they called and said 680.00 for other things. We are used to this with big o tires. Ita only taken 11 years to figure this out, but now her car doesnt run after 15 miles and they wont help us in any way. My car had brakes done 3 months ago and I had to bring it back 2 times to get it done right, myself and my mom will never come back unless some appropriate measures are taken, and im not counting on that. I am an engineer and I talk to a lot of people and most of them are aware of the scam at big o tires. Anyway I dont expect anything will be done, just blowing off some honest steam. Thanx

Big O Tires tire/alignment install

I went to your store 8/18/18 (796 S Abilene st 80012) and purchased $729 in tires and alignment. I was told it would be 1 to 1.5 hours to complete the installation and alignment. After 2 hours I was called to the counter to pay. I asked to see the numbers on the alignment, I was then informed that they forgot to do the alignment. The truck was pulled back in the shop. 1 hour later I was called up to pay and was on my way (3 hrs later) I got on the road and my steering wheel was at least 15 degrees off to the left when driving straight. Turned around and took it back. The truck goes back for another alignment. 1 hour later I'm told that the alignment rack is not long enough for my extended cab 1500 Silverado and I would need to take it to a different big o (15405 E 6th average 80011) to fix the alignment (4 hrs). Monday 8/20/18 I went to the 6th Ave store to get my alignment fixed and my T.P.M.S reset because I can't get them to check in and shut the warning light off now. I was given a run around and told it might cost more $$ if any problems with my suspension was found. 2.5 hrs later I had to ask if it was done. I got my keys and I asked about T.P.M.S. I was told everything was taken care of have a good day.(6.5hrs). My alignment is fixed but T.P.M.S still won't reset. I feel as if this is not how you want your customers treated at your stores. Especially 1st time customers. I'm highly disappointed in my experience and now I need to spend more money to get my T.P.M.S fixed. I'm hoping that you can resolve my problems and satisfy your customer. I will not be returning to ether store for further service.

Thank you for your time,
Andrew W

Big O Tires service

Rancho store in las vegas. There are 2 tire guys working just standing around and the mechanic is doing tired instead of doing a wheel alignment on my car. And he says he gets off at 5:00 and he is still here. Totally unfair to me the customer and this poor mechanic who is sweating cause you people cant afford fans for these guys. Poor management and lets not forget they work for at minimum wage. Should call labor board too on how badly u treat yr employees. Under paid over worked no air conditioner no fans and lazy employees except for this poor mechanic. So wrong.
