Best Buy best buy marketplace team plus quickphone marketplace seller

Bought a refurbished ipad 6 off the Bestbuy marketplace, received it with a cracked screen and sent it back. Seller claims i sent an item back they did not send me (saying i sent back an ipad 4, not the 6 they sent me). This is incorrect, i sent back the exact item they sent me and the next day. Not checking serial numbers to confirm it was a 6 they sent me...i assumed either they sent it with a crack or it got damaged in transit. I even offered to take a credit to get it fixed here, not knowing it was not even the generation 6 i purchased.. Marketplace investigated with zero actual communication with ME. I have proof the seller is being sketchy as i found they were still selling the ipad 6 i purchased, with the same web ID more than a 2 weeks after i purchased it/a week after i sent it back. Plus they had an ad up selling an ipad 4 with the EXACT model number as the one they claimed i sent back to them. According to customer service, the Marketplace team asked the seller to provide proof of their claim but has not contacted me to provide proof of my innocence. Purchase date was oct 22, arrival was oct 29 and i sent it back oct 30. Today i called customer service (who can see the conversations between the seller, marketplace team and I but cannot help me otherwise) states the seller has sent the ipad 4 back to me. marketplace has not contacted me and no refund given. The marketplace states they contact people within 5-7 business days so they have 4 more hours (MT time) until that deadline. I have been in contact with a fraud detective at a local police department, have contacted my CC company and made a complaint to the better business bureau. The charge was $430. Attached are photos of the ipad 6 i purchased with web code, the additional ad that was still up weeks later with same web code, the specs of of both ipads according to the serial numbers to compare model numbers. Every time i confronted the seller about my findings they took down the ads with no explanation . They also initially responded that i sent an ipad 2 back and retracted saying "they look the same" when i mentioned the serial number they gave me belongs to an ipad 4...but They refused to admit they may have accidentally sent me the ipad 4 and not 6 since they also "look the same".

Best Buy a defective fridge and then illegal (literally) follow up

I bought a fridge for $2, 000 +. I waited 2 weeks for the fridge to be delivered. The delivery people dropped it off, without bothering to find out it was defective. When I could finally get the repairman in, he said that there was a defective pump and the fridge: "was never going to work".

I went to the store to exchange the fridge. I was told that to do that I that had to take (another) afternoon off work the following day to do it. At that point I askeI could not get my money back. and was told that they would bto give me money back ever, all I could get was an exchange.

This was untrue; under the Sale of Goods Act, Best Buy must give me my money back. Denying that was an offence under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act.

I hear you. Bought an entire Samsung suite. Replaced refrigerator 2x, dishwasher 3x, gas range condemned! Joined a Facebook Samsung complaints and things are rolling. Given directions via website owner. SAMSUNG WILL HAVE TO REFUND! Bottom line. Others get immediate action in small claims court. I’ve been dealing w/SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR, REFRIGERATOR ICE MAKER, DISHWASHER, GAS RANGE ( condemned by warranty company on home repairs), growling MICROWAVE. I have done all paperwork. DONE jumping through hoops!Exhausting and feel like Samsung threatens. Offers one thing and get another response. So many people works on same complaint. No communication system within Samsung. Nobody reads what has been previously texted and recorded. I have most important texts. Always ask for email or texts. Keep everything even if you have disposed of defective unit. Customers now ZGOING BACK AND GETTING REFUNDS ON UNITES DISPOSED OF! SAMSUNG IS RATED -1 million. My rating. Probably more. Oh, I have been banned from Best Buy complaint forum and cannot go into a Irving, TX store. I have taken the place of my husband since tragic accident in 12/2020. I’m 77 years old and nothing matters except the sale! EGREGIOUS AND INAPPROPRIATE! Horrific complaints. Should not be selling known defective products. Lowe’s does too!

Best Buy iphone 6/64gb

I ordered I phone 6, , , 64 gb where I was given an invoice of 120$ which I paid
The lady promised me that the phone will be delivered door step later she told me that my phone is held up on Mexico for vat and am suppose to pay 100$ which I paid later .
To my surprise the phone was not delivered she told me that am suppose to pay 150$ dollar for custom clearance which I believe is too high for a second hand phone kindly intervene

Best Buy pickup service

The staff would not help me load 2 - 75 inch TVs . I had to ask a customer to help me load the 2 items because I had a suv and had to lay it on the side. The staff said they can only put it behind the suv on the concrete. I made it home with no issues and no damage.I think I deserve a discount because of the way I was treated. It was very embarrassing.

In Conclusion, I Submitted a BBB Complaint On This Matter and Shortly Afterward Was Contacted By Steve Waligoski A Senior Specialist at Best Buy Corporate, He Said He Was Sorry For My Inconvienance and would send me the 12, 000 page Drum/cartridge That The Description Stated, and Revise The Description On The Printer and Remove The 12, 000 page Discrepancy, He Left Me His Number And Said Call Him If There Was Any Problem ! (I didnt realize he was setting me up) ! I Took Him At His Word and Told Him I Did'nt expect The Call or That Best Buy Would Be This Honorable Especially After Dealing With The Store Manager LEES RAYES at My Local Best Buy ! Feeling Confident That The Matter Was resolved To My Satisfaction, I Closed The BBB Complaint. But This Was A BIG MISTAKE ! I Soon Received The New Drum, However The 12, 000 page Toner WAS NOT INCLUDED ! (This was Of My Initial Concern In the first place when I asked the Chat associate If The Printer Contained This 12, 000 page Cartridge or not ?) So I Called and Left A Message For Steve As He Told Me To Do If I Had A Problem ! And Told Him That I Received The Drum But NO TONER ? The Next Day He Called Me Back, He told Me That It Does Not Include The 12, 000 Page Toner That Was In The Initial Description ! I Submitted a BBB Complaint On This Matter and Shortly Afterward Was Contacted By Steve Waligoski A Senior Specialist at Best Buy Corporate, He Said He Was Sorry For My Inconvienance and would send me the 12, 000 page Drum/cartridge That The Description Stated, and He Would Revise The Description On The Printer and Remove The 12, 000 page Discrepancy, He Left Me His Number And Said Call Him If There Was Any Problem ! (I didnt realize he was setting me up) ! I Took Him At His Word and Told Him I Did not expect The Call or That Best Buy Would Be This Honorable Especially After Dealing With The Store Manager LEES RAYES at My Local Best Buy ! Feeling Confident That The Matter Was resolved To My Satisfaction, I Closed The BBB Complaint. But This Was A BIG MISTAKE ! I Soon Received The New Drum, However The 12, 000 page Toner WAS NOT INCLUDED ! (This was Of My Initial Concern In the first place when I asked the Chat associate If The Printer Contained This 12, 000 page Cartridge or not ?) So I Called and Left A Message For Steve As He Told Me To Do If I Had A Problem ! And Told Him That I Received The Drum But NO TONER ? The Next Day He Called Me Back, He told Me That It Does Not Include The 12, 000 Page Toner That Was In The Initial Description ! So I Referd Him Back To The Initial Inquiry i Made In The Very Beginning, Talking To The Best Buy Chat Rep, Online... That This Was Specifically About That 12, 000 Page Toner The Whole Time !, Steve Said That The 12, 000 Page Toner Is Not Included Once More, I Said Its In The Online Description ! He Said NO ITS NOT ! I Told Him Ill Go Online and take A Pic and Send It Right Now ! (By This Time I Was On Best Buys Website At The Printer I Ordered And Looking At The Description ) LOL IT WAS GONE ! He Revised The Whats Included On The Printer, and REMOVED The 12, 000 Refrence From The Description ! Still On The Phone With Steve I Said ITS GONE ! You Removed It ! He Said It Does not say its included under The Description ! Of Course Not You had it Edited it Out ! Does This Sound Like Ethical Business Behavior ? But What Steve Did not Realize Is That I Took A Picture Of the Description Prior to Him Editing It Out that Showed The Original 12, 000 included Drum in the Original Description For Trish Walker, Best Buys Complaint Dept... This Whole Process Of My Experience With Best Buy Can Be Validated By Dates Of The Material I Have Included Above... In Summation, I Was Trying To Be As Honorable As Possible Initally Contacting Best Buys Chat Before Purchasing This Laser Printer, I Even Told the Chat Rep That This May Be A Typo ( Not Wanting to Waste My Time To Buy It and Have Issues Returning Etc If It Did Not Come With Both Cartridges ) He Guarenteed Me I Would Receive It As It is Stated In The Online Description after He Looked Up The description Himself, and even Posted The Description To The Chat session ! as you can see as part of The Transcript Of Our Conversation Here, ! Upon Initially Ordering This Printer Online, I Was Confident That Best Buy Would Honor The Item Description Just as Their Own Employee was ! But I Now Feel I was First Baited and Afterward Manipulated By Their Senior specialist Steve Waigoskis at There Corporate Office ! I have a 900 page printing job I needed to do and was shopping laser jet printers, I found one on your online site @ bestbuy.com and read the description that said whats included, I copied it here >

As you can read for yourself, so since it stated it includes a 700 page as well as a 12, 000 page toner/cartridge /drum/ I assumed it could be a typo! So I contacted the chat dept. To verify this, I told your chat rep my situation what the description said and it could be a typo, so before I order I want to be sure that I would receive both cartridges, he assured me that best buy was honorable as I was trying to be and that if I didn't receive both cartridges in the box best buy would definatly send me one at no charge! I received the printer and only 1 cartridge in the box, I contacted the chat again and they said to take it up with my local best buy, so I contacted our local best buy here in apple valley calif and talked to the store mgr lees rayes who was rude disrespectful and is a liar! He said he had the item description right in front of him and it said it only comes with one 700 page cartridge! I told him thats not what it states in the description and he said it did! I included above what it states in the description please read it! It does not state it to include only one cartridge anywhere! Furthermore why would it state a 12, 000 page at all for that matter if not included, under whats included! So this has become a hugh waste of my time and situation that has set a rise in my blood pressure! Now i'm upset! Please don't blame your first chat rep for assuring me that best buy would honor the second cartridge if not included, he was just convinced in his company's responsible ethical standards, he obviously has not met my local store mgr lees, I was honorable and before purchasing questioned the 700 page and 12, 000 page cartridges that it states are included! So now I must go buy another cartridge, so I can finish my job as well as dealing with this bs! Best Buy gift card

i purchased a gift card ( mastercard) from the above location. I open the card by myself no one else touched it. I paid the amount from the best buys gift card and difference from my debt card. When at night i tried to use it online with groupon i couldn't so i decided to register the card online per instructions. I wasn't successful to register it online so i decided to call at the number on the back, i called and came to know that my card wasn't activated from the seller (best buy). I returned to the store next day told them abt the issue and also made a call in front of the customer service guy he is witness of that card wasnt activated by them . They also told me that the packing of the card is different and inside there is a card from the different brand. I was surprised. I told them to check the cameras and i have receipt . The called the assistant manager name(nic) he was very rude, loud and not apologetic . I told him the story and demanded for a different card and canceling the current card if that is the case. He totally denied and returned everything to me indirectly saying that i changed the gift card inside and showed up with a different card. He opened a card from the rack for me proving that other cards are fine no issue with them . Y just my card is different. He was rude non cooperative, not willing to help. End of the story he told me that they will do something in the back that they need to do in order to investigate. He asked my for my info i denied to give him my name and ph # cuz i trusted best buy with my money and it was completely a shock for me. Anyways i have attached pics of the card and receipt that i bought from the best buy. I asked nic if he need my debt card or best buys gift card to find out what happened he said no. Im hoping that you will get this resolved asap as i need to use the card to pay for something.

Best Buy what I get is not what he told me

Dear Center of Complain,
I bought a Samsung Galaxy A6s phone at EbestBuy Store. According to the seller the RAM is 6 Gig and the ROM 64 GIG. Once recovered on 7 October 2019, instead of 6 Gig RAM, there is only 3, 8 GIG RAM memory.
I am shocked and angry. I wrote to Ebestbuy Store to inform them of the deception, but not able to reply to my many messages.
I then come to Aliexpress to inform them of the non-respect of commitments between seller and customer.
I am disappointed with the service provided by this shop and I doubt even the originality of the phone sent.

I am here to express my dissatisfaction and anger. I received the Samsung A6s under the order number: [protected].

Best Buy warranty costs

I bought a laptop it was stolen. When I talked to a girl at Geek Squad she told me I can be reinbursed the cost of the warranty I purchased. I purchased the laptop Sept 14, 2019. I got 2 calls on my answering machine telling me I can come in to get my reinbursment. I went all the way in to Winnipeg on Oct 8, 2019 and was refused the reinbursment after explaining my situation to 5 people. I have purchased many items from this store on St. James and this is how they treat a good costumer. I live 20 minutes south of Portage la Prairie and don't make trips to Winnipeg every day cause it costly. They wanted the same bank care but I got a new one on Monday because my grandchild bent my old one on the weekend and it wouldn't work when I tried to use it the day before. My bank took my old card and it wouldn't work anyway if I gave them that card. I want the reinbursement I was promised and I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE.

Best Buy not delivering product that was purchased

On Oct.04 purchased tv on sale as a gift and got confirmation right away.Next morning got confirmation that product was shipped and was provided tracking information for purolator .Item was supposed to be delivered on Oct.09. When I checked purolator site it said that shipping label was created and they are waiting for pick up.I contacted purolator and they said its all in Best Buy hands. in the meantime got charged for product 1200$. When I noticed that purolator site is not giving updates on Oct.07 I contacted Best Buy where they informed me it should be shipped today. Next day no changes again and I called again . Customer rep could not provide me with any info whatsoever and told me its strange. Now I am just left in Limbo.
Very poor from Best buy. Please honour the purchase and deliver product.

Best Buy microsoft office licence

I have been at best buy to buy a laptop and i was suggested to buy the microsoft office unlimited licence but i wasnt warned that the one i got has nothing included, i thought getting the office i was going to be able to use all the programs and i cannot even use outlook, if there is any way to change it i would like to know how can i do it, coz it has no sence to pay for an office licence where i can only have access to excel, word and power point.. thanks!

Best Buy customer service employees and manager!!

I went to return a headset that my son's dad had got him it was for a PS4 which my son does not own so we went to the store and made sure we got the exact same headphones but for the Xbox console which he does have now I did not have the receipt but rude employee first rolled her eyes at me then proceeded to ask me for the phone number for the person who bought it Now I could have lied and said I do not know his phone number but I made it a point to b honest with her gave her the best buy account holders phone number n she said I'm sorry no can do it was purchased in April sorry ! Now if she would have at least looked to see the headset box was open but the headset was not even taken out of the box at all n the only way u could tell it was open was the one little sticker that was cut but it was so neat I could have said we just purchased it that day but it wasn't the right one then she radios a manager who was helping someone else at the time he cut her off mid sentence like nope can't do it b sorry tough! He didn't even come over take a look at the condition of n e thing nothing I didn't want n e money back I just wanted to do an even exchange I have shopped here for a very long time I have a card with best buys n so does my son's father I was so unhappy with the [censored]ty service I came home closed the credit card account I had n I will NEVER SHOP AT BEST BUY AGAIN ! Best Buy service person at customer service

My husband and I came in to Paramus Best Buy store to get an exchange of our Dyson vacuum cleaner since we bought 4 year protection plan. The person under the name of "Chris" was very nice and trying to help us to get the process done. And the lady name "Yoamy" interrupted in a very rude manner. We won't sure of the exchange process so we only brought the body of the vacuum. She glanced at the body of the vacuum and gave us a dirty look and stated "you need to bring the whole vacuum accessory to get an exchange." I really think that She could have explained nicer. Well, It is what it is. So, we went back home and came back with rest of the parts. "Yoamy" was still working at the customer service and she helped us to finish the process. I do not know if she was just having a bad day or we were annoying to her but she still had an attitude throughout the exchange process. I do not understand what we did wrong to be treated this way. And I hope someone who is above is aware of customers experience like this. I have never filed a complaint on someone but she was absolutely rude. I do not understand how Best Buy train their customer service agent but there way no customer service provided at all.

Best Buy paying for my goods.

September 27, 2019 I went into the Best Buy on Fairway Rd. Kitchener ON. I went right to the product I wanted, a Dyson air filter $100.00, and proceeded to the tills for payment. There were 3 customers all ready being served so I waited and waited and waited. I rep walked right past me looked at me standing there, as I was the only one, and proceeded to the one till to help another rep. Fifteen minutes latter I walked up to the counter, put the filter on it and walked right out the door. What is wrong with this store, business. I would do everything possible to serve my paying customers. Is this company so rich they could care less if they make a sale or not. Wow cannot believe they don't want to make money. They just sat there looking at me waiting and said nothing, not even a Hello or we'll be with you shortly. If I owned this store I would have fired the ones responsible.

Best Buy geek squad repair

I dropped off my computer a week and a 1/2 ago and explain to Agent Dwayne that I developed a software problem in updating drivers that Dell notified me said needed updating (I had Geek Squad do the initial updating less than a year ago). As a result of the updating of the Drivers the bios settings for my screen went out: I had no picture at all.

I knew I have a good LCD screen because I had a new one put in earlier this year. In his notes to the Service Center, Dwayne made it very clear that this is a software issue and not a hardware issue. The reason why he said they cannot handle the situation at the Cambridge store is that they cannot see the screen so they don't know what to do to fix it.

I then received the call about four business days later from the Service Center in Kentucky. A woman representative told me that I need a new screen and that it's an old computer maybe 5 or 6 years old and the parts are not available so that they cannot help me. So I reiterated to her what Dwayne had put in the notes: It's not a hardware issue and that the screen is perfectly fine. I explained to her about the update of the drivers when the problem first occurred and she said that one of their agents in Kentucky tried to run an HDMI cord to another screen and it didn't work and therefore it must be my hardware.

That statement that she made makes absolutely no sense from a technically logical point of view because if it were not a software issue then the screen to which the HDMI cord is channeled would work but my screen wouldn't because it would then be a hardware issue. But it absolutely was not a hardware problem. So she said that she would look further into it. She also said that she would call me back and I thanked her.

However, when the weekend approached I got a call from Agent Wayne at the Cambridge store saying that my computer was returned (to Cambridge, Massachusetts) and that the screen is broken at that Geek Squad cannot supply the part.

I told him that it was never a hardware issue and that the person from Kentucky told me she would call me back but she did not. So Wayne then said that he would look into it further.

Finally he called me back a day later and said that the screen works that it was indeed a software issue.

He also said that he couldn't finish the updates and that therefore while my mouse works the touch screen does not. Thus I would continue to have outdated drivers. The reason he said he could not do the update was because it did not detect a battery present, which is necessary for updating.

He checked and the percentage in it was 0% so he thought I might need a new battery. I explained to him that it was a very good battery and that I always kept it very charged and there must be some other issue involved. He said that he would check to see if it seated correctly, and, if it was then detected then do the updates could be performed and I could pick up my computer on Monday.

Late on Sunday he left a voicemail saying that the battery was missing that they most likely forgot the put it back in at the Service Center. I know the latter to be true because I was able to fire it up on my computer when I first brought in without the power cord on.

Unfortunately Agent Dwayne does not recall one way or the other about the latter when I first brought it in (he just told me now in a telephone call). But I do remember, and he also told me that he now shows in some emails that the battery was never there.

He might be reading an email from someone who got it without the battery in Cambridge after it was a returned from the Service Center.. But when I dropped it off it definitely had a battery.

Asking today for manager I'm told that they are on vacation and that they won't be back until Monday. However I spoke with Gustavo on Monday who is a Store Manager and explained to him that as Total Tech Support Customer I am entitled to one replacement battery per year according to the contract as printed on the Bestbuy.com Website.

It seemed all worked out until I called again today and they cannot get anybody to take my call and no agent at Geek Squad can help me. Although they promise at the store manager will call me back this seemed very unlikely.

The latest that was told by Agent Matt at the Geek Squad was that the
Store Manager, Gustavo, would call me back in an hour. When I called an hour later I had someone on the phone from another State say that Gustavo was not a Store Manager bu a Manager in the Store.

This Monday when the Geek Squad Manager returns will be 3 weeks without my computer.

Best Buy rude salesperson

This is concerning a staff member named Jake at your Milton Store in Ontario Canada that was rude to myself as a customer when I was trying to purchase apple products. His team leader and manager call me to apologize. He owes the apology! I took my business elsewhere to Staples. Offering a gift certificate was not necessary. I refused and asked for a apology from the sales person. When the team leader and manager stated that they refuse to get Jake to apologize for his action and they tried on his behalf is a sign of poor management. He is the one that owes the apology.

If this is the policy of Best Buy and customer service at the Milton store I believe that corporate should revisit the team at that location. I ahem had amazing service at other Best Buy locations.

Still waiting for the apology from Jake not the store manager or team leader Crystal.

Best Buy upgrading phone

My son and I went into best buy to upgrade his phone. A lady came over because we were looking a phone. She didn't introduce herself or make us feel welcomed. Another gentlemen then came over, to which no introduction or making you feel welcomed. He said when we were ready, to go to the counter and he would check out our purchase. Customers need to feel welcomed and appreciated. We did not make the purchase we were there to buy.

this letter to complain of the ridiculous percentage of restocking fee best buy is charging on an item that i return the very next day i got it in its exact same lousy packaging that they send it in from there subsidary deal target aka market place

i paid 455 dollars for a 2 in 1 laptop from hp when i wrote about returning the product which was way behond the return days time limit of 14 days i was told yes go ahead only to my disapointment i got my refund back minus 102 dollars yes 102 dollars this means market place aka deal target pocket from every cusotmer this amount this is highway robbery to me

Best Buy best buy has lost my trust and I don't want to do business with them anymore.

Hello,

I bought a chromebook from BestBuy marketplace. I don't normally like to order from a third party off of these sites because the host company often doesn't have the ability to rectify any service issues. Which seems to be the case here.

I called into BestBuy because I could not even track my purchase. It was listed as "in Progress". When I tried to dig further, I could not find any information. I sent a message to the seller through the Best Buy website.

However, then I noticed that the prices in my receipt had changed from when I purchased it (they always push you back to their website, where they control what you see on the screen). The chromebook was listed as being $50 more than what I purchased it at. The price they charged me was competitive with everyone else, but their third party seller was offering it for $50 less. That's why I purchased it from them.

So I called Best Buy. Can't remember the dude I was talking to, but he said it is probably on its way and to chill out (basically). When I told him about noting the price difference, he basically told me that I didn't know what I was talking about. That this is the price it has been for months now (yes, the Best Buy price has been stable, but the third party seller is a different matter).

Based on his lackluster efforts to help me resolve the situation (he basically said this is the price and what you were charged), I asked to speak to a supervisor. This is what he told me, which made me very upset. He told me "you aren't going to get any different answer from a supervisor and you are going to have to sit on hold for a very very long time. I will have to find someone from a management group" with the implication that I was going to have to wait a very very long time on hold if I wanted to do that. I hate it when customer service reps try to prevent you from speaking to a supervisor and what I feel was basically a threat to me. That right there tells me that I'm being played.

Fed up, I told him to return the chromebook. Don't even send it to me. He started telling me that I was being unreasonable and that I wasn't giving him a chance to resolve it for me. What? I told him that I could have just blasted my complaints on social media, but I had called in and tried to resolve it, but was met with total resistance. He told me I was resisting him. I told him that I don't want to do business with Best Buy anymore, because they have destroyed my trust in the integrity of their online systems, not to mention their employees. If I can't trust you to keep the numbers straight on line and cannot give me any help, I don't want to do business with you!

He basically complained to me about me, but then told me I had two choices. He could send a message to the company and ask them to stop the shipment and return it. But he couldn't guarantee that they would take action or refund me. The other option was to refuse the package when it arrives (it requires a signature), and then try to work out a refund. Under each scenario, I could not be guaranteed a refund. Then I ended the phone by hearing a very snarky and snide statement about the customer not always being right.

I told him that I felt that I was effectively experiencing a bait and switch scheme here, and that I can no longer trust Best Buy to treat me fairly. Their representative won't not help me and basically left all the leg work to me, with no guaranteed outcome.

Best Buy computer charging cord

After purchasing a Microsoft laptop for $999 2 months ago, the cord that came with the computer failed to charge the computer. Taking it back with the receipt, my mother was forced to pay $67.99 for a new cord. I felt that since this was a defective item that should have been covered under a warranty, so why did she get charged for a new one? I request reimbursement and an apology.
