Bershka Trench-coat

I bought a trench-coat in October and I had to return it two times because the material keeps tearing about. It will be my 3rd time returning this coat because I found another tear within the sleeves. It's very frustrating. I don't want to turn my back on the brand because I love the clothes at Bershka but I may no longer have a choice. The annoying part is that if I reuse a reimbursement, I'll only get a Bershka gift card with the value of the coat which I would prefer getting back my actually money.

Bershka Customer service in store and payment issues

Good morning
My daughter and I were shopping in Bershka, La Canada, Marbella on Monday October 7th.
My daughter tried to pay for her one item and her card was declined... there was no issue with the card and the money was taken from her bank account... we showed this to the girl on the till and she called the manager. The manager was so unhelpful and incredible rude. She said if our machine shows declined then it hasn't gone through... even though she could clearly see from our banking app the money had been taken. My daughter tried to pay again with another card and it was declined again... again no issue with her card or bank but still declined. I then paid with my card.. and surprise surprise it was declined! Clearly an issue with the machine at that time... they then tried another machine with the same initial card and the payment was finally accepted... The manager was incredibly unprofessional... it was clearly an issue with their system and not our cards... she kept saying (in a very loud voice so the whole queue could hear)... it's not our fault your bank is declining your payment! And we quietly tried to say to her... there is no issue with our cards! And she did not accept it when we showed her that the money had left our bank even though the machine showed our payment as declined! The whole incident was very embarrassing. I told her we needed proof for our bank that the money taken from our account needing refunding and she said she could do nothing and told us she needed to serve the other customers! Luckily for us the bank refunded the money but that's not down to any assistance from Bershka! We spend a lot of money in this store and the way we were treated was not acceptable. They should have given us a declined receipt but they refused.
Then... the same evening my two daughters went shopping... again my daughter (my other child!) paid for one item and it was declined... and guess what?! The money was taken from her account! She then tried again and the payment went through... but this morning both payments have gone out of the bank! This time the lady was more helpful and was apologetic for the trouble. She gave my daughter her phone number in case of an issue... the number is 952 829 282.
This money needs to be refunded and the staff need training in what to do when these situations arise!
There was no issue with our banks or cards... they worked in every other shop and there was plenty of money available to spend! Clearly the issue was with the machines in your store. But more importantly than that... the customer service skills of your staff were totally inadequate. They tried to humiliate us and belittle us and were totally unprepared to offer any assistance.
My daughter now has 22.99 taken from her bank and they say they will investigate and it will take 30 days to refund if they decide to do so. At the age of 14 this is a lot of money to her and it's very unfair that she should lose money due to the incompetence of your staff or your technology failing!
The receipt number for the item last night paid for by my daughter is ...

This has totally put us off shopping in this store again!

Bershka Shirt

I got a shirt from Bershka and burnt it with iron in when ironing it for the first time.

Please let me know if the shirt can be replaced. I have put it on only one time. And it haven't past 10 days since I bought it. I have contacted Bershka via the contact form on their website and on Instagram but I received no reply. You can contact me at [protected]@gmail.com

The material is polyester. I ironed the second the same shirt and it was alright. Perhaps it's my fault but if something can be done it will be appreciated

Bershka Being accused of stealing by staff

I had just finished trying on 4 items of clothing when a member of staff was trying to open the curtain on the changing room. The first thing she said to me was "is that yours on the floor" which I could only assume she was talking about a tag on the floor. She continued to say that the tag was not there before and where was I hiding the item of clothes which it belonged to. At this point she probably realised that in my hand i had the same 4 items i had taken in just 5 minutes prior and only had a cross body bag on me which is barely big enough to fit a phone. I asked her if she wanted to check me which she didn't respond to and just took the clothes from me and walked away without any apology. So shocked at her attitude towards the situation. She was determined I was stealing before she saw anything. I do really hope this is not the kind of training that is going into your staff. Will not be returning to this store.

I went to Bershka in nova park today and it was not a pleasant experience to say the least. I picked out a few thing and went to the check out. The lady at the chceck out was ignorant her attitude lead me to believe that clearly didn't want to be there. I had a voucher card of 100zł my total bill was 219.50 zł I paid 120zł in cash. When I left the shop I was was telling myself that I will not return there due to poor customer service. The 219.50zł seemed large to me so I checked the bill where I realised that one of the t-shirts said 9.99 EURO. There was no polish currency price on it which lead to me being mislead and tricked. I would not pay that price if I knew it was in euro not zł. After realising this unfortunately I was forced to go back to the unfriendly cashier lady... When she saw me she looked irritated with the fact that I'm back. I told her that I want to return this t-shirt because I was mislead by the price that was in the wrong currency. Her response to this was that "we'll the other t-shirts have the polish price on them." It's almost as if it was left there in the front by purpose to seem that it's 9, 99 not almost 50 zł... The cashier said that because I also used the voucher card of 100zł I can't get cash back but I'll get the 50 zł in a voucher... And she said that the computer picked this option. The fact that I now have a 50zł voucher for bersha forces me to return to that shop where I was treated with disrespect.

To this day my closet was filled with Bershka clothing. I don't think I will return there again.

Bershka Unprofessional attitude of the cashier girl while returning a low quality item

Thursday (25.07.19)at about 7:00 pm..

I went to the cashier desk of Bershka Berlin, with a smile and friendly way to return a T-shirt... I returned it, BUT, after a very unwelcoming tension attitude.

I was talking to the cashier girl whom I have got the purchasing by, she started the conversation with a little bit attacking attitude and serious face, but eventually agreed on the return after I reminded her with the note she wrote on the receipt, on 22.07.19, (dreckig+ riecht nicht gut) which is (dirty because of make up marks and not smell good) and that she and anther nice colleague cashier guy, told me to try to clean it, if it still smells, I should return it, because I have first asked whether this smell is from the material itself or maybe from bad storage conditions... I liked the T-shirt color, I wanted to buy it anyway and give it a try..

At this moment of refunding, a totally unprofessional approach of a blonde colleague cashier girl who involved herself into my issue with a very angry face and hand gestures, she insisted not to accept the return claim, because the price tag is tied manually by me to the shirt. However the girl I got the purchasing by, has already agreed to return it. Because there was no way to clean it with the tag attached!
This tension in turn, made the girl I was talking to, very nervous and angry and she started to reply to me without even looking to me, which is completely disrespectful and unacceptable!
the blonde girl called over the manager or the supervisor, I do not know.. he came and listened to me and immediately told her to return the item because simply it is of very low quality that makes the shirt smells! and also because of the note on the receipt.

I pet no one would ever buy any piece of this shirt, because of the smell. If this cashier girl professionally mature enough, she would not have done this! she better developed this anger because the low quality material Bershka has used!

Train your service providers how to deal with all such cases, so when a case like this comes to the surface, they can recall better respectful behavior to your customers.
specially that the first cashier girl have charged me with 15.99 euro by mistake on the same day I bought this shirt, and I went to her next day to see why is this, and get my money back, in a nice way, I did not make a song and dance about it as they both did today, showing me no respect! as if it is a personal issue with them! and no one had apologized to me!

I left the place shocked and pissed off, thinking to myself I will never go there again!

I hope positive action will be taken to avoid such irresponsible unprofessional attitudes with customers.

Bershka Return not accepted despite in original condition

Dear Bershka Team,

Today at about 16:00 I tried to return a top I bought on 12.07. at the Alexa Berlin location. The tag had come off in the changing cabin, so I just tied it back on. And bought it. No mention was made of this tag condition when I bought it. I do not blame the cashier as it was a busy Friday afternoon. It was a small purchase that I thought would work with another item at home. It didn't, so I wanted to return it today. When I tried to they told me because the tag was re-attached it was no longer in original condition so they would not take it back. When I explained that this was how I had bought it, they said no that is not possible, mentioning that millions of customers pull this tag trick. They basically accused me of lying to save 7, 99 Euros. It is not the money that bothers me at all, but the dismissal of my explanation out of hand. And the accusation that I (like millions of others) was trying to cheat them. I just thought your customer service team should know about how this was handled and re-train some of your Berlin staff. The top, by the way, is in perfect condition, only having been tried on once.

It is unlikely that I will shop with Bershka again, given this treatment.

Bershka Price, mom shaming, rude store manager

Today I have visited this store, and I faced my self (first time in my life) with being treated with disrespect by store manager (blond lady, 3 am)
My stepdaughter was waiting in the line to try on trousers she wanted to buy (line was long), and I was holding baby in my arms. Baby was very fussy, so I offered my brest to feed her (it was very discreet, in the corner of the store) and I went back holding my baby in arms and waiting my stepdaughter to see if trousers fits her.
Store manager approached me to say I am not welcome to feed my baby and showed me corner of store so I can go there feeding my baby. With no chair or any adecvate space...
Is this how you treet mothers and babys, is this your policy?
Do you have sign on your doors BREST FEEDING MOMS ARE NOT WELCOME HERE? NO!
If this is your policy, put that sign on your doors please, so you don't put people in occured situation...
Later she has bought troussers with price 12.99, and they charge us for 17.99, when we went back to see why they charged us more, same store manager very rude told us that is not her problem, they have that price in the sistem, she didn't care for price written on the
price tag. She told me some of the customers could put the price on them. When I showed her fhew more troussers with the same price on which shows the stuff did mistake by not taking off reduced price, she insisted on her story, not admitting mistake.
I am very very disepointed the way you treat your customers. This was day when I promissed myself to never walk in the store again, not recomend store to anyone. Also, i will seek for my legal rights, was I supose to treated like that just for feeding my baby.

Bershka Boys swimming suit

I bought a boy swimming suit on June 3rd at Bersheka, mall of arabia branch, Egypt, and after usage twice it was torn as the fabrics seemed to be defected. I never thought that Bersheka is using low quality fabrics; that is why I did not keep the sale receipt; however the transaction is shown on my debit card statement. I am very disappointed of the low quality of the swimming suit and I request full refund.

I bought a boy swimming suit on June3rd, 2019 from Bersheka, mall of arabia branch in Egypt. The swimming suit was torn in less than a month. I donot have the sales receipt but I have the debit card statment showing my transaction( I never imagined that Bersheka's fabric will be defected that is why I did not bother to keep the sales receipt). I took the swimming suit and went to mall of Arabaia branch and met Mr. Ahmed Fekry ( branch manager) and Ahmed Said( deputy) and they refused to exchange the defected swimming suit claiming that it was wrongly worn!and that they can see no reason why the swimming suit is torn and consequently refusing to exchange.
I am very dissatisfied from the waste of money and time and dissappointed from the bad quality. I usually buy from Bersheka Egypt and Austria but it is the first time where I find such a problem and an inprofessional reply like the one received from the branch manager.
I hereby request an exchange of the defected swimming suit and if not available then a full refund of the amount.

Bershka Fake campaign at anghami app

Unfortunately i'm so upset I found game spin and win for bershka and I win 50 $ vouchers I went to Alexandria City centre store last night 16 Jun at 17:30 z and tryed to claim my prize and change my voucher there and the manger say that he didn't hear any thing about the promotion between anghami app and bershka then he told me that this campaign is ended 15 Jun but the message sent to me that the campaign end ant 20 Jun how come it's ended and still be shown in anghami app .

Bershka salesperson at milan duomo store

There is a short hair blonde girl working at changing room, the rudest and stupidest person I've ever met. Super undereducated and crazy. I know this is just Bershka not Loro Piana, but at least treat your customer like a human. I was going to try on some clothes and misunderstood the entrance and exit if changing rooms (No signs ). She started to yell at me saying "stop that crazy girl, where is she going? Who does she think she is." I was shocked and furious, never being treated like this in a store ever.

Bershka mobile case

we baught a mobile case from Bershka Mall of Arabia, it is sold as an 8+ cover, however after paying and while still at the store we tried it and it didnt fit, the store refused to return it or even exchange it .
The store manager was very rude to us and he kept on trying to make the cover fit, hence he broke the cover, not to mention that he was about to break my brand new iphone 8+. When he failed to put the phone, he acted like it was not his problem and there is nothing to be done. His attitude was like you can hit your head in the wall, and that it is not the store's responsibility.
We chose to buy from bershka, as it is a respectable store, however it turned out that it is a low quality service store.
If we baught it from the a guy on the street he would have been more respectful.
We paid a huge sum for a cover, expecting good quality and decent customer service, however both were trash.

Bershka trousers

I bought some trousers from Bershka tried them on not checking the trousers fully I purchased them . When I got back to my hotel room I took them out of the bag to show my boyfriend what I had bought and I then realised they were filthy around the bottom of them . My boyfriend told me not to worry we will go return them for a swap the next day. The next day we go down to bershka to return the pants and the woman got 2 other people to the till for them a guy to say I cannot return them because I had worn them! I have not even worn them the tags were on the trousers and the matching top ! But he still said no I cannot return them . I had not worn the trousers they must have been filthy when I tried them on but didn't realise ! I am disgusted the fact they have said something that is not the truth ! I went over to the rail to show them that the others were dirty brought it over to the till to show them the others in the shop were dirty ! When I went back to get the others they had taken all the others off the rail not sure why maybe to hide the fact that they were lying! Disgusted is not the word the staff are rude and appaulling I will never ever be purchasing anything fr bershka again! Theives! Worst customer service !

Bershka quality of product (shoes)

I bought a white shoes on 02/2019 by amount of EGP 399 ( after sale), I used it two times only, then I had to wash it on 05/2019 as it became very dirty due to it's whiteness colour.
I washed it ALONE in my washing machine with very normal water ( Neither hot or cold) as usual with my all white shoes .
After washing it & drying it in an open air area, a yellow color appeared all over the shoes, I used to wash it again but with same result .
I went to Bershka ( Mall of Egypt Branch) without the purchase receipt as it was lost noting that I told the staff that I bought the said shoes on 02/2019 with amount of EGP 399, they advised that they will try to wash it through their dry clean house but they feed me back with same result I had .
As a final result they asked me to take the shoes as it is as they can't make any thing without purchase receipt !
I told them that it was your product with poor quality regardless I have the purchase receipt or not noting that I am a frequent customer at your Branch, as they didn't gave me any help .

Please need your support as I am very sad & decided not to deal with Bershka any more after this situation

Bershka diamonte belt

I brought a belt on the 6/5/19 in Westfield shopping centre but wore it for the first time last night, within an hour tons of diamontes had fallen out all over my floor. After 4 hours of wearing it out of my house the links on the belt that hold the diamontes in were falling off. This has really upset me as I really liked this belt and dont usually pay that much just for a belt, it wasnt cheap! Please look into this and get back to me to discuss either a refund or a new belt unfortunately I dont have a receipt but I have pictures of the state of the belt and if you look on the transactions for the 6th of may I would be the only person who brought this as it was the last one.

Bershka delivery

I ordered some shoes from bershka last night at 5pm and I paid extra for fast ‘same day' delivery. The reason for this is because I'm leaving the country this evening.

It is now 7pm the following day and I still have not received my order. Despite trying to contact the courier several times and being ignored on the online chatting system. When I finally got a response I was told that my delivery will not come today due to the driver having a road accident on route.

My apologies if this is actually true, but from a customers perspective it is the easy way out. Besides, is no valid reason for customer service.

I leave Warsaw at 10pm tonight and I'm still in hope that I will receive my parcel before I depart

Bershka staff

I went into the Bershka store where I saw a lady who looked like a manager. I approached her and when I did she waved me off and continued to the door with a male member of staff. They seemed to be watching customers and were began speaking outside of the store. I thought that this was quite rude but I went to the cashier at the desk and explained that I wanted to return an item but had no idea where the receipt had got to. I hadn't worn the item- I had purchased it maybe a week and a bit before and the lady at the till nodded and requested for till assistance. She then begin assessing the item which again I hadn't worn. When the gentleman got to the till the cashier explained to him that I didn't have my receipt he looked at me and said "well where is your receipt" which I explained I didn't have. He looked over the item closely and then scanned it and asked me if I had brought the item in store. I said I had.. to which he replied "are you sure you brought this in store this isn't an In store item" I explained to him that I had but he continued to look at the clothing and tell me it wasn't a store product to which I said well I have it on my Barclays account... I can show you.

He told me no that wouldn't work because it wouldn't describe the item. I asked him if he could search his computer to see if I had purchased it to which he replied "it's your responsibility to look after your receipt we don't search for products".

I questioned this and I explained that when I worked in retail staff were able to locate where an item had been purchased if they checked their system to which he replied "we don't do that".

I said to him I didn't understand and he went on go explain that the item wasn't an in store item and therefore he couldn't scan it. I explained to him that no one had said that to me when I was purchasing the item... he then said "you can exchange it but you won't be able to return it". I said to him that I didn't understand how he was going to exchange it if he had already stated that he couldn't do a search.

He was clearly getting aggravated and started raising his voice telling me that my receipt was my responsibility. I walked away from the till and began looking at other items when he raised his voice at me again telling me "you can't return the item once you have exchanged it" rather loudly which I found extremely embarrassing as other customers were around. I said to him "you've already said this... I heard you already"

He then replied "don't be rude. There's no need to be rude because I can change my mind"

I ignored him at this point and began speaking to my friend because he was being incredibly rude. He then turned to the cashier and said "don't return it" and walked away from the till.

I walked up to him and I said "can I take your name please" he said
"No If you want to make a complaint call complaints" and continued walking as I was talking to him.

I continued to follow him and I said how can I make a complaint if I don't know your name. Can you please give me your name. He continued walking and ignored me and began talking to a girl at the changing rooms.

He then marched over to the till picked up the item and was like "don't you want your item. Take your item please" he began holding out the item to me to which I responded "why are you doing that"
He said "it's your item and your responsibility we can't leave it at the till"

I then reminded him that he said that I could exchange the item to which he responded "oh you don't want it? Fine I'll put it in the lost property bin" he took the item threw it in the bin then walked away from the till. I said to him "don't start behaving like that. There's actually no need"

He then walked away flicked his hand at me and continued walking around the shop floor. My friend began talking to a manager on the shop floor and I asked him aren't you a manager? He said I should talk to the girl on the till as she was a manager when she clearly wasn't. I went to the till and said- where is the top to which a friendly girl on the till wearing a headscarf said "it's in lost property" she pulled it out for me and gave it to me.

Appalled by the fact that this cashier had done that I went up to him and took a picture. He then shouted that security should be called to which I replied, "you wouldn't give me your name and I really want head office to know who I am referring to".

His behaviour from the moment I walked into the shop was unprofessional. He cared little about the customer experience and he also behaved badly in front of other customers. I usually shop in bershka. I like the clothes and have always found your service to be pleasant however on this occasion I am disgusted. Your staff were aggressive, rude and absolutely disrespectful. The other manager didn't challenge the behaviour of her colleague which I also found horrible. This incident happened on the 1st May at your Westfield brand at around 8:30pm.

You should review the footage and see the behaviour of your staff. Please don't just take this complaint as evidence.

I would like to hear a response please.

I went today to bershka in Algeria what a shame the staff were playing around joking no one was in the till I had to wait for 5 min because he was playing he didn't even talk to me he was talking from one side to another no one cares about customers I really think you should do something i was surprised i am a customer of bershka in UK

Bershka coat

Please find attached photographs of a coat that I purchased in January 2019.

It went in the wash for the first time this weekend 13/14 April 2019 and it has come apart literally at the seams.

I followed closely the washing instructions and am very upset that it has fallen apart so easily.

I would be grateful for comments.

On 8 February 2019 around 19.35h I went with my family (my mother and two brothers) to the Alexa shopping mall near Alexanderplatz, the centre of the City East. Grunerstraße 20, Berlin 10179
Together, we went to the Bershka. We found realy nice things in the shop. My mother and brother went to the changingroom to fit the colthes.
I have one brother who has a mental handicap, he has the brain and the behavior of a 6 years old boy, but in fact he is 30 years old and he looks also like a 30 years old man.
My mother wanted to be with my brother so she could help him to fit the clothes we choosed for him. But there was a very not nice lady working there (I think she was Chinees) and she told my mother not to help my brother because he was old enough. We said that my brother needed help and the he couldn't do it alone.
The Chinese gril who worked there called the manager to tell us the exact same thing: that my mother was not allowed to help my brother. My mother explained the situation for a second time, but the manager didn't want to hear anything. My mother told the manager that if the employees wants to help my brother than she will go away, but nobody of the employees wants to help him so my mother has to do it by herself.
The manager was not amused with the things my mother said and she called the security to help my mother and my brother out the fittingroom!
My mother explained the situation to the security and the security understood the situation of my brother and he really felt sorry for us. He didn't allowed the behavior of the empoyees. The security apologise on behalf of the employees.
We were really upset because we didn't do anything wrong and we felt really sorry for my sick brother; he felt really bad about the whole situation because he realised that he had a handicap and that is because of the behavior of the employees there.
It is not wrong to help the other person in the fittingroom, whearther you have a handicap or not, we do that always in Belgium and we never had any problems.
We are shocked of the whole situation because the employees are not supposed the behave like that. The manager and the Chinees empolyee were very rude and not friendly.
We hope that Bershka will speak with the manager of Alexa shopping mall because that is not good for the image of Bershka. We love to go the the Bershka it is our favorite shop, but everytime we think of the situation our hearts really aches.
