This would be my 2nd time this occured. AT 11:05am on 6/17/10 I was heading on NJ PARKWAY NORTH traveling to Paramus NJ, I entered the BERGEN toll booth In LANE #2 that said EXACT change. So I stopped & paid my $1.00 in four quarters & the machine never said PAID THANKYOU! As it should. so ! honked my horn for approx 5 seconds & proceeded to exit the booth. Last NOvember this happened & I received 2 citations @ $25.00 each witch I paid because I was nervous of their $500.00 penelaty threat. I REFUSE to keep getting caught up in this NJ SCAM. Similar situation in Chicago...there was a sign posted with a phone number to call if problems and maybe some sort of grace period - of course I couldn't stop to read it even though it was on an off ramp...
I have a service I use that allows me access to an entire law firm.
