Bendaroos Never got product after 6 months

I placed the order on 1/1/2009 & I have called them several times. Originally I was charged for more than 1 set. I only ordered 1 but I was billed for 3. I was told that they would credit the extra one back & should receive package within a few days. Since then I have called and spoken with several different people including a manager. I was credited back the full charge after 4 months. I still have not gotten my product & was never given any confirmations or letters or return calls like I asked.

They promise something that they are not able to deliver. I asked for shipping details & they said that they were not able to provide it. Well, that is because they never shipped it. My daughter has been waiting for 5 months for this things. I was lucky & found a 500 pack @ WalGreens for only $19.99. Cheaper than online or by phone. And I did not have to pay for shipping. THEY ARE ACTUALLY IN MY HAND! I paid for them & got them. Isn't that the way that it is supposed to work?

The owning company is Merchant Media. I am going to contact them next. I can't believe the way that they handle the complaints & pretend like they shipped it when they know darn well that it never left their warehouse!

I even gave them different address to mail them to. Just in case it was a address problem. NOPE! I never got them & was treated very badly by the persons on the phone.

My son has been wanting bendaroos for a while. They r on the tv all the time evrytime they come on that's what he wanted. I saw them at walmart and bought it for him for Christmas. They did not work I thought I was doing some thing wrong. I tried everything. But they did not work do not buy them it is a wast of money.

The Bendaroos website over changed me with two sets for $56 when i ordered for one set, there was no way for me to know that i was charged for 2 sets until I finished the order. I had no number to call back for cancellation. very suspecious company and cheating

This company overcharged me I ordered one bendaroos kit and they charged me for five I could not believe that. Then it takes at 30 min to talk to someone and they tell me they can't help me till the transaction went through which makes no sense at all I am so upset I am still dealing with this issue DON'T purchase anything through this company

I was ordering these for my grandkids and tried to cancel the sale after I saw how much the shipping is - did not hit "Place Order" and exited out - it placed the order anyway and when I tried to send a cancellation on the "order confirmation" email - it came back undeliverable - DON"T USE THIS SITE - ITS A BIG SCAM

I tried to order one set of these for my son for $19.95 + 6.95 S&H but after checkout it showed they were charging my card $56.00 for one set plus family pack. No way to change your order or confirm anything once you enter your credit card number. Customer support telephone number does not work when you dial it. Be very aware of this company making fraudulant credit card charges.

The web sit adds on more sets without you ordering them. There is no confirmation for your order until it is all finished and the order already submitted.

This company is a scam. Stay away! I ordered bendaroos but the website is very confusing. They say you get a "double order" for free, but when you check out you are charged twice!

The website is poorly designed (? on purpose) that requires you to click through many screens of "add-ons" before you get to checkout. There is no review of your order prior to submission. If there are problems with your order (like being overcharged, as I was) you are out of luck.

They did not respond to email requests. I called customer service which was busy for a long period of time. Finally got through and was on hold for 31 minutes before a person picked up. Despite the fact the the website says 4-6 weeks before shipping (and charging your credit card) the person said "oh your order is being shipped -- I can't change the order".

Caveat emptor! Let the buyer beware!

My daughter saved her money since Christmas so I could order her the Bendaroos she sees advertised on TV every day. When she had saved $19.99, I called the 800 number to place an order. I did not speak to a person but to a computer. Ordering seemed simple enough at first -- I gave my credit card information and waited for a confirmation.

Instead I was lead through 35 minutes of sales pitches for all kinds of other products and for 'upgrades' to my order. I never received a confirmation number or the amount I would be charged. I could not go 'back' through the phone to cancel my order. I knew it was a scam before I even hung up the phone, but they already had my credit card information and there was no option to cancel and no ability to speak to a human being.

So, today I checked my credit card -- I was charged $63.21! Now, I did receive two small boxes of Bendaroos, but there was no packing slip, no confirmation information, and no way to return the items enclosed. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and will be in touch with the Better Business Bureau tomorrow. This is such a scam, and they're using children!

WISH I had checked this website first. This company totally tricks the consumer. says it will give you double the order but you end up paying triple and when you go to cancel your order it still charges you. RIP OFF.

Bendaroos Deceptive Advertising, couldn't reach Customer Service

Like others have also said on this site, my experience with this company was terrible. I went to their website to place my order and saw the advertisement at the top of the page saying that I could double my order for free. They advertise that you receive 250 of regular color and 250 of neon color in one box of Bendaroos. And the way it was worded, I firmly believed (because I double checked the wording...I was skeptical) that I would receive 2 boxes equaling 1000 pieces. So I went to the order form, selected a Qty of 2 and hit the "continue" button (figuring like all other websites there would be a confirmation screen before the order was placed). The order was placed and I was charge for TWO sets of bendaroos and TWO s&h charges. I thought there would be a confirmation screen showing that I would only be charged for the one set and receive the 2nd set for free. Nope.

I immediately sent and email to the company and called the Customer Service # [protected]) and was on hold for about 20 minutes so I hung up. I never received a response back from them either for the numerous emails I sent to them. I even instructed them to cancel the order outright. At that point, I didn't want them anymore. But of course, they showed up at my front door a week later.

Reading the other complaints here got me fired up to find justice! :) So I called the "203" number again and actually got someone. After explaining my problem, she said that there was ever an advertisement to get TWO sets of the 500 pieces for $19.99. You would just get ONE set of 250 and 250 for the $19.99. This is bull, since the box they come in is made for 500 pieces... there is no "get the 2nd set for free" as they claim. I even watched the commercial on TV several times again to make sure that I understood the offer to be TWO sets of 500... It was there plain as day.

So I stood my ground and told her that I didn't want them. That I wanted to send them back and get my money back. She of course then told me that they do not pay for return shipping! Of course! I stood my ground again and said either give me my money back for the 2nd set (plus the 2nd $7.95 rip-off s&h fee) or take them back and pay for shipping. She said "Well, ok, I can refund your money for the 2nd set"... I then told her I wanted the shipping fee for that 2nd set too. And she credited my charge card! I couldn't believe it!

So hopefully this will help some of you. If you've already ordered them, be persistent and get your money back. If you haven't ordered them I would say to make sure you double check the quantity before you hit "continue" on the online order form! And to remember that you pay $7.95 for EACH set you order!

Be careful with bendaroos. They are fraudelent website that after you purchase and provide your banking information they will give that information to a company called AP9 Healthcare who will then debit your account withOUT your permission. I had a hard time tracking down which company sold my banking information to AP9 and it lead straight to Bendaroos. I now have to go through hell and back to stop AP9 from continually debiting my account each and every month and I have Bendaroos to thank for that.
Wasn't worth it, the product is sub par as it is.

Bendaroos Don't work

I didn't get them, but I read the reviews on Amazon and all of them are one star. So for those of you who are pay 50 dollars for these instead of their alleged "19.99" and still didn't receive them, you sadly have nothing to look forward to. They say you can't even make a curly Q, let alone all this stuff they show on the commercial. These certainly will not make you bendaroo backwards.

I ordered bendaroos over the phone with the promotion of by 2 for $19.99 and $8.99 shipping (Recording never mentioned the actual charge amount that would appear on my credit card). I waited 3 weeks and finally received a package with 2 boxes of bendaroos with no invoice or charge amount in packaging. I week later I received my credit card statement and was billed $57 from them! I called customer service and was told that I purchased 2 (sets), I said no I purchased 1 set and that your phone ordering system needs to clarify better there promotion. He offered to refund the $19.99 for second set. I asked about the shipping as well because there is no way it cost $19 to ship two little boxes of Bendaroos.. He said his computer would not allow that.. They could ship out the ssecond set though if I wanted.. That is when I asked where the 2nd set that I supposedly ordered is anyway (Why didn't I receive that set at the same time?)? He had the nerve to say it probably got lost in the mail lol! I said this is all starting to sound really shady to me.. I asked to speak to a manager to get the second shipping charge refunded as well and he told me there was no one I could speak to. I told him then to refund my orginal $19.99 order as well and that they should eat the extra $9 charge not me. He put me on hold and came back telling me that they would refund me the $9 shipping charge! We will see if I actually receive it! Wow did he just write the code that would allow him to refund me the shipping charge while he was on hold? It all sounds like a scam to me! This company needs to be shut down! They are overbilling customers, not sending out the extra set and hoping no one notices!

deceptive billng, when you place an order it some how adds to it without youbeing able to change the order(dosent let you review order), i wanted 2 packages, it gave me 4, and the charged 39.95 for shipping, , i sent them an email to try to cancel order, they never responded and did not cancel order. i wish i had looked into this company before i placed the order, this company has way too many complaints against it, , , live anad learn, , STAY AWYAY! listen to what people are writing!

This website is deceptive. Before I knew it I had placed to 'big' orders and did not have a chance to review the billing statement or confirm that I wanted to purchase this item. Your credit card info is input first and once you click on an item you have purchased it. There is no going back.

I ordered one set of Bendaroos online and the website added more sets... I only wanted to spend the 19.99 and shipping but they added another and another..I will not pay for all orders.

I ordered the bendaroos for my daughter for christmas December 4th, 2009. Here it is December 29th, and I still have yet to recieve them and they charged my credit card again on December 23rd. Do not order from them they are horrible.

Bendaroos Fraudulent website

I tried ordering Bendaroos from their website and you never recover an acknowledgment. The site says to wait 12 hours before checking the status of your order. I waited four days and went to the order status link and it does not work! I have been trying to call the CT number and I cannot get through the line.

As Seen On TV sells the product and the order form is the same form on the bendaroos site. So I called their toll free number and when you go to problems with orders you cannot reach anyone...you have to leave a message. SO I called again like I was placing an order...and low and behold you reach a live person! I explained my situation and the girl in the order processing department said all calls for Bendaroos has to go through them. She gave me the same number I had been trying. I explained their website does not work and she said that is not their problem. I explained they are selling the product and that they should care. She sarcastically said 'Have a wonderful holiday.

Do NOT buy form either company!

Bendaroos Fraud

Ask for credit card information upfront before even selecting product. You go to the next screen and they put postage and handling for over $30.00. I got out of the screen and did not hit confirm. The next day it was e-mailed to me that my order was confirmed. I called all day and listened to music. No one ever answered the phone. I also sent them two e-mails to no avail. I am disputing this with my credit card company. They are a fraud company and I hope I can help someone else by not being pulled into this scam.

I don't have a complaint, yet. I saw this link (complaints) when looking for the company, but did not read before placing order. I hope things work out. I did notice that the first "order" screen DID NOT show the secure lock in my browser bar. After puttingin the first 4 #s of card, I backed-out. I entered site through the Customer Service link, which WAS secure and showed the lock in the web browser bar.

I WAS able to review my order and authorize it...no email reply, yet.

Others SHOULD really look for the lock symbol BEFORE entering their credit card information on any site. I'll keep all other comments in mind.

Do not order Bendaroos from the official Bendaroos website:

- website is terrible: 1. no buy one get one option - despite offer
2. many products are solicited during the order process
3. you cannot review order before submitting
4. way more expesive than anticipated
- customer service is terrible: 1. emails are not answered
2. phone wait time is forever
3. representative I spoke with was rude
4. After waiting 8 weeks for shipment, I was told that they had run out and I would receive my order as soon as the new delivery arrived.
5. checked my order today and it was CANCELED without any notice.

Buyer beware when dealing with Bendaroos.com

I decided not to get these in light of the _enormous_ number of complaints on Amazon and elsewhere on the web. It offends me, however, that they are still advertising on children's television stations and that kids (including mine) ask for them. Those of you who _have_ purchased them, PLEASE contact the Federal Trade Commission and make a complaint so that they can be stopped. If you feel particularly industrious, you may also wish to contact Nickelodeon and other TV stations and ask them to stop carrying their false advertising. ALSO: I found it helpful with my 9-year-old to read her some of the complaints about the product. She has learned to be not so trusting of ads on TV.

After getting through the automated phone ordering system, they were relentless in attempting to get me to add additional packages to the order. I have never experienced such extreme pressure. I had to finally just hang up after this went on and on.

Now, just a few weeks later they have passed my phone number, and my credit card number(according to complaints I have seen on the web) to third party marketing firms. They have been continuously phoning me with high pressure, non-stop pitches for other products and services.

I would suggest avoiding this company at all costs.

I went on the bendaroos website after my kids said they wanted them for Christmas. I ordered the set for $19.99 plus S+H. It should have been at the most $28.00. I was not able to review my order. It automatically submitted my order and the total ended up being $67 dollars and some change. I was so angry. I e-mailed 3 different times to 2 different websites. One e-mail came back undelivered and for the other two I never received anything back. I called the phone number 2 times. The 1st time I was on hold for approx. 20 minutes and had to hang up. The 2nd I was on hold for 1 hour and 4 minutes with no answer. I am so angry. I have not received the order yet, but I am hoping to send it all back for some money. What a rip off! I see now that I am not the only one. A few days after I ordered I saw them at Acme for $19.99.

ordered product on jan 5, today is feb 15, never recieved product, they charged my credit card for more than they were supposed to, called and they said they would give me the credit on my next statement, and resend the product out, that was on feb 6, still no bendaroos. now they won't even answer the phone. discusted!

Spoke with Katie and Jessica from customer service at [protected] to check the status of my order, was told order was cancelled. Although very friendly could not tell me why my order was cx, but did say my credit card was in the process of being credited. I should see it on my statement within 3-5 days if not please call back. Hopefully this all works out. Kids very disappointed!

Bendaroos No Customer Support

BEWARE!

I too ordered online and by the time I was done my total was 89.76. All I wanted was one set.
I then sent 4 emails to customer service within a week span and didn't hear a thing back.
I assumed they cancelled the order. Today I got the package in the mail. I told the mail-lady
that I was refusing to accept it and to send it back. Now, I'm having trouble with the credit card
company getting my money back. I spent OVER 3 hours long distance on the phone and still got
no answer.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Bendaroos A RIP-OFF-COMPANY

Parents, " DO NOT " buy Bendaroos for your kids from this company. This company is a big rip-off ! I 'am sorry that my God - Daughter ask me to buy her some Bendaroos for Christmas. She saw the ad on the Nichelodeon channel on television. I did'nt even get a receipt for my purchase in the box when I received it today. Also, I was suppose to received my package with the 3 day shipping, but it took way longer than that. Anyone out there who reads this complaint, please tell me how can I get a re-fund ? I will report Bendaroos, to the Better Business Bureau ! A CLASS-ACTION LAW SUIT may be another option.

Like any other parents, I went on to the bendaroos website and ordered for one set but when I finially finished my order i was charged for 2 sets for %56, I never ordered for 2 sets, the website is very tricky and cheating. No number to call for cancellation, called my bank to cancel the transaction, but the bendaroos authoration was already done. How can such website cheating happen, and how does the TV telecast such cheating companies. Is there a place where such scandels can be complaint.
