We hired them to do our wedding on Sept. 11, 2010 and we are still waiting for our album and DVD of our hi-res images. They don't return calls and seldom return emails. In each email, has been some excuse, lost in the mail, photo lab delays, etc.

At this point, I know they have our pictures because I've seen them on their online proofing site back in December and in their advertising for their business. They have my money. So why the delay Joe and Constance? Execute the photography contract that you entered in with us, which if you do read it thoroughly states ALL PHOTOS AND PRODUCTS will be delivered no later than 90 DAYS (3 Months) after the wedding date.

My recommendation to others on here, is to contact the NY Attorney General's office. They will gladly handle your case of CONSUMER FRAUD with Bella Terra. The form to fill out and mail in is on their website, but here's a link to make it easier for everyone:

After almost 8 months, we have had enough and are now proceeding down this path ourselves. The local Utica office has contacted us about our claim and is in the process of reviewing and contacting Joe and Constance, which they may already have.

Good luck everyone. Hopefully we will all have our wedding photos soon. Kind of sucks that the only way to remember your special day is through memories and snapshots from friends and family.

A quick google search will show that this is their SOP, they take the money and run.

We are another couple going through exactly the same thing. We got married in June 2010 and we are still waiting for our designed CD. The only way we ever got a response from them was to tag their names on facebook. It's so sad and so heartbreaking to me especially because I had been friends with Constance first and to be mistreated by someone you truly trust is very devastating. Good luck getting any calls, e-mails, or likewise. They make excuses about all their merchandise which you can 100% realize are lies. Excuses after excuses until they ignore you all together. Check out this site too, http://www.bellaterraphotography.com/ it's all complaints against them. I would definitely just take them to court, it would be your fastest route honestly. My only regret is that I don't live in the area, because everyone who lives out by me knows that as long as they live they will NEVER hire them. Sorry other brides :/ I've slowly gotten a few pieces and JUST got my photobook about two weeks before my one year anniversary after harassing them endlessly, but I'm still waiting for my designed CD of photos... It's awful that someone would do this to all of us, no it's flat out disgusting.

I hope that everyone gets their photos, but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for them. My daughter and son in law hired them as well and its been over a year and they have not gotten thiers either. They are taking them to court, but I am sure that they will still be hard pressed to get them at this point. If anyone has any good luck with this photographer it will surely surprise me. They surely press the idea of a contract to you when you hire them but they have no plans in keeping thier end of the bargain. Any ideas or suggestions please let us all know.

Laurissa -

We had them do our wedding in July 2010 and we too have not received ANYTHING! We are also going to end up taking them to court. Do you have any information for me that will help when we go through this process? If so let me know and please e-mail me at kef711@hotmail.com.

Hi Constance, you and Joe broke your own contract! We were supposed to have our photos three months after our wedding, not eight months. If you were truly sorry you would have called and explained the delay. I have called all three contact numbers you have given Jon and I and low and behold we can not get through. Also, I have sent several emails and messages on Facebook BUT NOTHING, and still no album. Joe called me December 28th, 2010 and said he was sending the disk to our new address. He confirmed the address! PLEASE REMOVE our photo off your Facebook and Vimeo page, you did not get our permission to use the photos for marketing your fraudulent business. Please send me an email what address you sent the pictures too and the tracking number. Both you and Joe do great photography work, but you do not know how to run a business. I have contacted the NY Attorney General’s office, and just filed this matter with the Better Business Bureau. I tried many times to resolve this issue without taking matters further, but you have failed to fully execute your own contract. It does not take eight months to develop wedding photos and burn them the digital negatives to a DVD.

Best of Luck
Laurissa

Hi Laurissa,
We have shipped two discs to you since the wedding, and the remainder of your products will of course be shipped as soon as they are finished being printed. We do apologize for the delay.
