Bata India Not receiving Refund for a cancelled order

I placed an online order from a bata store in Bangalore on 5th of September for an amount of Rs 1699. I cancelled the order on 12th September as I did not receive the item until then. I called the customer care regarding my refund 4 times, every time I call them, they give me excuses stating you will get the link for refund in 5 working days. Its already a month and the chances of getting my refund is zero. There is no follow up from their end nor a proper response. The reference number for my order is 712381 given by Bata. I need my refund. I am stressed out with such a bad experience.

Bata India Very poor quality

I have purchased school shoe of rs 1700 on 18.4.23 at mathikere Bengaluru and sole got detached very early and I got it repaired since without shoe it is not poor to go to school. Recently the top surface got worn out.

Shop representative replied that only three months warranty and cannot do anything from shop.

I approached customer care but no proper solution.

I could get regret statement without any support.

BATA IS. A very worst and lost its quality and name as it was.

Better don’t fall into such beliefs and cheating business trap.

Very sorry to write anymore since bitter experience in my life time

Bata India I brought one sandal from Bata and the sole of that is leaving layer of leather

I brought one men’s shoes and one ladies sandal size 7 from Ahmedabad one nexus mall showroom on 30th april 2023.

I have worn this sander only twice and the sole part is leaving skin.
It looks very bad and uncomfortable.
In only one use how can the sandal is like this.

Bata India Sandal

I brought a sandal from bata showroom from Orion mall which had a discount.. I used the sandal for less than 2 hours and the stich came out where I could not use it anymore. On asking on the same, they said this is a discounted product and so there will be no replacement or refund. So what is my mistake here. Buying from BATA or buying a discounted one. I spent 750 rs which matters a lot to me. I am a middle class person and me going to a brand like Bata is a mistake?

Bata India Quality check team and customer service

Firstly i was in an urgent need to get school shoes for my daughter.

Had gone to the bata store and unfortunately they didn't have my daughter's size so the store ordered the shoes for me which would be delivered at my door step.

To my surprise it was a defected piece and it had come from Kolkata Camac street

I immediately gave a call to them and asked them how callous could the quality check team be since the damaged shoes was soo visible.

Nonetheless i was told a refund would be given within 10 days

In the meanwhile I again ordered a pair of shoes and this time the shoe size was wrong.

So you can imagine how callous the team must be and again i called up customer service and even reminded him of my previous refund amount. Guess what?

He told me i had to go to the store and they would refund the money and that too cash on spot. His name is Jerry Peter's sitting in Bangalore. And to the store managers belief this was such a huge false information

Desired outcome: I got my refund on the very next day

Bata India Payment/refund not yet received

I placed an order on 30 Sept, 2022 from official website of Bata and amount has been deducted from my account. But the order was cancelled by them at their end. After calling to customer care number they said you will get refund within next 2-3 working days. It has been a month a now. I called them more than 30 times but my issue is still pending. My reference number is 392340. The customer service is just pathetic instead of solving the query they keep on saying that your issue will be resolved soon.

Desired outcome: Please refund my money.

I ordered Bata weinbrenner on 27 May. priced 750/-. I paid the same. They didi not updated about order process. Even after a week then finally i asked on toll they informed that order was cancell by thier end because out of stock... and amount for the will be refunded. i check in a moment that item was also in stock in site recieving order on price 1499/-!

Bata India Poor quality shoes got defective without even wearing a single day

My order ID is - Order ID AI2661220000238

I bought these shoes in Mira Road (East) Bata showroom. Since they did not have black shoes in stock therefore they took my address and delivered it the next day, I was happy with the delivery process though.

I went abroad and kept shoes intact unused, now after coming back from abroad I decided to use it for the office but to my surprise it's sole was breaking into small pieces even if I touch it slightly (I have attached photos for the same).

I took shoes to the same showroom but first they mentioned it was bought at a discounted price and no warranty covered, I mentioned it was at MRP price (2999) and there was no discount when I bought it. Now store people refused to give any support, and just told me their manager will contact me, I asked for their manager's number but they did not give me any, nor did their manager call me.

I had a trust in the Bata brand that's why I purchased it but I did not expect to see such a quality issue.

Please suggest what can be done in this situation?

Bata India Bata wallet

I ordered a wallet (MARIE CLAIRE) from BATA India on 22.09.2021 and had a horrible experience. I got my order today and I was literally shocked when I opened it. They sent me used, torn dusty old wallet (pictures attached). Before this I ordered shoe that also i got the defected they have not refunded till now Never expected this from such a reputed brand. I already complaint on other platforms but still not get any reply

Bata India Broken shoes not refunded

I belong to Chandigarh and I had gone to Bhubaneswar for a wedding of my niece on 30th June 2021. During the time Orissa as a state was under Covid 19 lockdown protocol (all shops were closed except essential commodities - can be verified very easily in the government notifications) which was relaxed only on 1st of July 2021. Shops were open till 2 pm only.
During the event on 30th June, my shoe broke and fortunately due to the easing of the lockdown next day I was able to go the market before 2 pm to be able to see some shoes.
I found a few shops open on a road and went to Sheela shoes around 1 pm. They mostly had local brand shoes available with them. The shoes available of any reputation on the display rack was of the brand of "HUSH PUPPIES A BATA PRODUCT."
With the trust of a good brand I bought the shoes. The dealer gave a discount of 10% on MRP on his own account as this was the first day of his shop opening after the lockdown. The same discount is available on www.bata.in for the same shoe.
I bought shoes back to the hotel and worn them for the evening function and lo and behold, they broke. Not even 10 hours after the purchase.
I was very humiliated and harassed and it was my real sister's daughter wedding and on the wedding night, I am without shoes. Somehow the night passed and next day i.e. the 2nd of July, I was back in the shop.
They refused to return the shoes and it states on their invoice, "Goods once sold cannot be taken back or money is not refundable" They offered me the same type of shoe again and it then when I noticed that the shoes were actually manufactured in may 2019, they were already more than 2 years old. So I refused on the account that they may break again and I am not living in the city as a local. I have a flight back on the 3rd back to Chandigarh.
They offered my local shoes but I bought a brand that I trusted in the first place as I did not want to buy local shoes.
I spoke to the customer care and after days, weeks of my following up I have received this reply from Mr Traun Talwar, Customer Service Team, Bata India Ltd.

"With reference to the concern raised by you, I would like to inform to you that the article purchased was under a special sale scheme and under "No Claim, No Warranty" policy.
As per the service policy, articles purchased under Discount Sale are not considered for replacement.
These terms and conditions are clearly stated in the cash memo to ensure transparency in the services provided to our customers.
I regret to inform that I would not be able to consider the pair you are referring, for replacement."

Now after reading this I have a few questions
1. The copy of the bill states very clearly "Goods once sold cannot be taken back or money is not refundable". Is that not that the case when your product is in a workable condition and does not break in 10 hours of its purchase. Is that the model of quality that a brand like Hush puppies stands for?
2. There is no mention of it being a sale item on the cash memo.

IF BATA HAS ADOPTED THIS WORKING MODEL OF MAKING MONEY DURING THE COVID PANDEMIC, THEN SO BE IT.

HENCE MY RECOMMENDATION. STOP BUYING BOGUS BRANDS WHO DO NOT STAND FOR QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCTS. BOYCOTT THEM

Bata India women sandals

It was a worst experience of using bata sandals . On 22/10/2019 that is three months before I had purchased sandals of rupees 1499 from bata showroom located at Vashi, Navi Mumbai.I am not using that pair on regular basis still the left side peice break from the middle.its really very frustrating.
While purchasing I asked the shop owner about the durability of product and he assured me that BATA is a brand and it provides rough and tough products.but now I am really frustrated and don't want to visit BATA again.its a wastage of money and time bcause BATA is no longer providing a good quality product.

Bata India wrong shoe size sent, no refund given

I ordered 2 Bata sandals for women on 25 Dec 2019. One of them was a wrong size. I ordered for Size 5 and got Size 6.

I have called 3 times to Bata customer support office and just have got complaint numbers. They say your package will be picked in 48 hours and refund will be given as Bata gift card. None of this has happened.

I need the right size sandals or at least give me my money back. This is so unprofessional. I will not order any Bata footwear from now on if the refund is not given.

Bata India shoes

Dear Bata Team

I am in need of your sincere support as the product I have purchased is proved to be of inferior quality. I want to mention that I had purchased Hush Puppies Shoes worth Rs. 2999/- from your retailer named ' Dev & Co', Jaipur on 01/06/2019 (snapshot attached) and to my utmost disappointment I found that my shoes got discolouration (snapshot attached) within 03 months of purchase, for this I contacted the seller and he raised a complaint @ Bata customer care on 08/11/2019 & 14/11/2019 twice along with physical item i.e. shoes (as per seller) and now I had been told that customer care has given no response on the complaint I have generated against the quality of the product given.

I have been told that this is the best quality of shoes among bata company while purchasing and now the company is running away from fulfilling their responsibility against the customer satisfaction which is no doubt giving a feel of being cheated.

I trust that my email would not be ignored and a sensible and prompt support will be provided from your end, I need an item replaced as its a quality defect and company should look after it to maintain its brand value and loyalty of customers towards Bata.

With reference to registered complaint no 1744962-case, I not as a customer, am not satisfied personally basis genuine facts...

You have judged and decided basis not complete pics of shoes and without know the quality facts.

Sole of shoes are plained and melt to slip so there is quality defect, not a incidental factor.

Caused above, 3 - times, due to quality defect, sliped on road also and I felt on road and injured to hospitalized.

My friends and other people are also suggested to change the shoes after finding quality defect so it's opinion of all my friends and well wisher.

Now great to regret, I have felt as a cheated.

Hence requesting you to review and consider for exchange the defective article.

Bata India product

i ordered footwear on 1 November 19, i received weong product that was not what i ordered. After talking to customer care they said they will return it and see it is 6th december today it has not picked up. i am calling customer care each day and they have same response we will do and no response of my mails to company.
it is worst then ever i am never going to this company back for shopping.

i am going to post all on social media in online consumer court how they are making customers fool.
why i will bear the product which i dont .

very disappointed no should buy from bata

they dont even know what customer ordered and what they are providing.

the wrong footwear i received is from same city store i will go there make video and then will spread on social media.. end of patience.

Bata India shoes

I am agitated against the lax behaviour of Bata India. I registered shoes online and i received it on time too. HOWEVER, I WANTED TO RETURN THE shoes under their return policy. The reference number is 1736554. Much to mu dismay, it has been 15 days since no one came to pick it up and return my money. After calling atleast 12 times to the customer care, which assures me the pick up to be done in 24 hours, i have just given up.

Bata India physical gift vouchers are invalid

New Ticket - BM-114858 -Bata WH:[protected]... this was my complaint, raised on last Sunday 3rd November'2019.
But till date I have not received any information/ progressive update on my concern.

I raised this complaint with BATA customer care as well as sent mail to customer service also. But I am not getting any proper response from BATA.
The physical gift voucher which I was received from BATA, was not working at any store of the BATA. It shows invalid.

Bata India regarding damaged shoes

The shoes are damaged and the product is under guaranty.
Shoes are used very carefully and gently but then to the shoes are damaged.
Please replace it with the new one.
It's a request that please look into this matter and and take a action which I'm hoping to be positive.

Bata India in-store attendants' attitude

I had visited the store on 25/09/2019 to buy a pair of shoes. I had to make an emergency call because of having no balance on my own mobile. While I asked if i could use the in-store phone, she simply replied that it was a prepaid phone and hence you cannot use it. The two attendants at the store did not seem to have any interest in helping me further, which made me have second thoughts on buying shoes in that store. But having no choice, i proceeded to buy them. Please make sure that with training them on how to ensure that customers get the 'best fit' of their shoes; also train them on how to help somebody when they are in dire need of help.

Bata India worst quality shoes / slipper

I was Buy Shoes (Rs. 2499) & slipper (Rs. 999) from BATA showroom before 6 month.
Within 6 month shoes & slipper both are got worse,

If I buy shoes in from Local shop Rs. 700 to 800 than shoes are work at least 1 year.

But Bata Rs. 2500 shoes worse within 6 month.

Request all to pls do not buy from BATA Showroom because price is very high but Quality is ZERO.
