Good morning. I'm trying to keep this as professional as possible. I saw that I was supposedly paid for w/o# [protected] and had been closed. I said SUPPOSEDLY  because I STILL HAVE NOT received either a physical check or has it hit my account yet by direct deposit. 

I would REALL like to be paid TODAY! I found a BARRISTER complaint board. YES, THERE IS A COMPLAINT BOARD! And saw I am not the first employees you have not paid on time. Well, guess what? I used to work for the Department of Industrial Relations, also known as the California Labor Board. I will not have any problem reporting BARRISTER this blatant violation of the California LABOR CODE 203, "which provides for the assessment of PENALTY against the employer "barrister" when there is a willful failure to pay wages due to the employee "me" data conclusion of the employer relationship.

Since this was for work and one week period, and I will still be "THE CLIENT' on a week by week bases as each week the contract is extended technically or the working relationship has not ended, it still does not mean I SHOULD NOT HAVE RECEIVED PAYMENT either by mail or direct deposit 

California does not take too kindly to employees that do not pay their employees, and there is a very penitently for that and will your history. I'm sure your repeated violation of CALIFORNIA LABOR CODE 203 and failure to pay that penalty will be SUBSTANTIAL.

I did a job for barrister to update a computer and was on site for three hours and the when left site the tech control guy released me saying that it was on the company end. They had me go back the next time for five hours and I finally got them to go with a different computer then the one they had and it worked. The tech control supervisor coded my first ticket as redispatched even though I was on site for three hours working with the tech control and would not pay me for my first trip. I filed complaints with the field engineer and the supervisors and they kept telling to get with the person they coded the job. It’s like the people in charge are scared to make a decision and the tech control supervisor over the Catalina project will not respond to any emails. I think he upset because his solution didn’t work and mine did. He wanted to reload the software and I told him why would you do that with out even asking what software was on the computer. They was new computers sent out and the software on the computers was the right version. This is the second time this supervisor has cheated me out of my money and I have documentation and pictures to back up my work but no one with barrister will even answer the emails. So every time they call me to do a job I said you hit my pay then please don’t call me. They talk to people any kind of way and then try to get you violate company rules. I refuse to violate policy because I don’t believe in doing that I am a 25 yr military veteran and you don’t break rules to suit yourself and when I tell them they got mad and deactivated my acccount but because they needed me they turned it back on so I can do a job then didn’t pay me for that job either. The job I want to address first is the one for Catalina on September the 21st 2022 for ticket number 5110272 all the problems are with the tech control supervisor

I did a lot of work for them but they not paid me since December 2021 and I sent a lot of emails and dispute but they said that they sent to me but I didn't received yet. Now they ignored my emails and they not replay me any more. my amount is around $ 550. I sent to [protected]@barisster.com & [protected]@barisster.com. and also call them but didn't solve my problem.

I ran 2 calls 6/22 and to date they have not paid for 1 call and re-imbursed me for expenses they told me to buy on the second call, each time I call, they tell me all is good, should get paid, 30 days go by nothing, i call or email again, they said i clicked a box to NOT get paid? hmmm thats a good one. i even email [protected]@barrister and same results no response.

FIELD TECHNICIANS BEWARE!

I was sent on a work order contract which would pay $45 per hour for 6 hours. I was required to hire a helper. The helper would also be working for 6 hours at $45 per hour.

We arrived at the work location, driving for 3 and a half hours. Travel time not paid. The office building was vacant. After phone calls here and there we learned the work was completed some days earlier.

Barristers scheduling error. THEIR MISTAKE. I upheld my end of the contract.

So, it cost me $75 for fuel. I had to pay my helper $200 for the day. Now I'm in it for $275. The Barrister Company is paying me $92.25 and paying my helper $25. $150 loss. I was supposed to be paid $270 for each contract, totaling $540 for the day.

The Barrister Global Services Co. will not respond to my pay dispute inquiries.

I will revise this posting if I get paid for the day.

These people are just amazingly demanding for what they pay.

I have done work with 6 - 7 hours of driving. They don't cover travel and then on top of that, they give me an extra $10 and hour but then charge me $58 dollars for an ACH Fee @ 13% which is just criminal. So I go nothing for travel. Gas is $5.00 a gallon now and they don't care.

So for 3 days at the job 18hrs of travel trough Virginia at that. 24 hours of work and I got paid around $1100 when it was said and done.

Just to make it real. If I where billing that at my companies rates at $75hr and $45hr travel.

$810 travel and $1800 for labor.

$2610 is what I would have made if I was contracting this myself.

So $1100 is a bit of a rip off and makes you feel very unappreciated when they keep calling and calling and calling 1000 times a day. [censored] at you when you don't answer the phone and then expect you to do jobs that are unrealistic for the pay.

I worked with them . I had $1400 pending balance to payment. On payment date I checked in their tech portal , it was showing , it has been paid, but didn’t get money in my account. Emailed them, escalated to their payment issues team, they told me that I had overpaid 2 years ago! They keep this money for this reason! I told them , if there overpaid please send me statements, how much I have been earned and how much you paid me . But they never send me any valid documents or any statements. Don’t work with this company, they are doing this every technician,

Got a call from this number and it was an Indian recruiter lady telling me I can do a freelance job with this company.

I get a lot of contract requests since I'm in the job market and a lot of them are scams.

This lady had me go to barrister.com and fill out some information, but I never finished the form because I had two red flags at any IT person needs to be aware about.

First, it's an unwarranted call and the first thing on the form to fill out is an SSN number. Never put those on an application until you start getting an interview.

Second, the password field was alphanumeric only, no special characters; making the entire website susceptible to a brute force attack. If you have your bank account linked to this company, do me a solid and unlink it, because that is one of the most basic things that is asking for a brute force attack.

I yelled at the lady over the phone to contact thier network administrator to fix it, and she was fighting me trying to say that it was secure "because SSL".

Cyberattacks are becoming more rampant in this world, be careful who you give personal information to.

i was deactivated with a ticket number and i was a premier tech and I was told that broke a fuser and with no ticket number and i was talking with a tech and he was looking into it i don't have the number that's the problem. how can they deactivate someone without a ticket and the hold times for tech support is long example 1 hr hold time. i do enjoy working with them but they are not fair in business practices. i then called and tried to get the ticket with no luck .
all they send me was picture of a broken fuser and with no ticket attached

In 2008-ish I made the mistake of responding to a request by Barrister Global Services for my availability to run potential IT related service calls for them "in my area". After paying for "background" and "security" checks, as well as filling out a ridiculous amount of paperwork, setting my service area and shop rate together with travel within my service area, I began to receive service requests by phone asking me to drop my rates and eliminate travel. The service requests were all for sites that were hundreds of miles away. I finally requested they remove me from all databases, as the business could not afford to run calls for them. Years later (2021), they began calling again, requesting my availability to run calls for them... still hundreds of miles away. After quoting rates, including travel, the agents would declare they had to get my rates approved by a supervisor. I did not hear back from the original agents; however, a "new" agent would call and/or email me requesting my availability and rates for the same service request. I would question these agents as to whether the original agents had notated my rates, together with travel. Their responses were something like this, "there are no notes. We don't pay travel. How much would you charge to go to 'XYZ, USA' (346-580 miles one-way)?" So, in answer, I would quote our standard shop rate, with anticipated round-trip travel included. They would sometimes repeat the same behavior as previous agents did. Sometimes, they would scoff and state it was too much... that they have only $45 budgeted, or say, "come on... it's just a little job and we have many more in the area you could run..."
I finally demanded they remove me from their call and e-mail lists. I did ask several agents to pass on the need to have upper management to examine the reasons their call centers are trying to recruit service companies for work orders in major cities hundreds of miles away and yet refuse to pay for travel... that they need to find companies in those immediate areas. They continued to call; and, if I ignored the calls, they would wait for my voicemail to pick up and sometimes request my availability... sometimes they would leave their microphones on, picking up laughter and chatter in the background... sometimes they would place their end on hold, filling my message storage space up with obnoxious on-hold noise. They would call a couple to several times per day. I finally blocked their numbers. They now call, sometimes up to 50 times a day, using some type of switchboard technology, that allows them to place several calls within a short period of time... either placing my voicemail on hold, or sending it into an endless "ringing" by transferring the call to an unused phone extension while they place more. They fill up our business voicemail until maxed out with some type of rapid dialer technology that places several calls at a time within the same minute. This is evidenced by our phone and voicemail logs. Barrister Global Services Network has, and continues to actively and intentionally interfere with our business. We are pursuing avenues to take the appropriate legal actions against them.

On July 2020 I've complete a project with Barrister Global Services, the Job was to replace some computers and reinstall operating system on some of others.
The site was in orange city in California and belong to Falcon emergency services company.. I didn't get paid for couples of workorders there, as long as I did all the required jobs and I paid from my pocket to my helper..
They owes to me for more than $1000 at least..
I've email them many many times and send them all the required reports, but they didn't respond.. 😡😡

They asked me to service a printer and when I reached the site the part sent was incorrect, target printer details were wrong and the printer on site was dead with no serial number on the unit. The tech. on the phone just kept asking for serial number of the printer even after I emailed him the pictures multiple times. Seemed mentally challenged, I drove for 3 hours and spent 2 hours on site trying to sort out mess created by mismanagement by Barrister!
We should report this organized criminal racket to FBI and have them shut down for good! I am willing to testify in any court at my expense to save other engineers from these schemer low lifes out of Luisiana!

The last 8 work order were successfully completed and I had to dispute all of them due to no pay and I havent got a response in 4 months on why. I just keep getting harassed by dispatch 20 times a day to take more work. Its very depressing for me and my family to suffer such a loss.

I did a job for BGSN, and was awaiting my pay. When my pay was late I tried to contact them, and was told to email pay issues. Still not hearing from them I got in contact with one of the engineers I worked for before, he told me to cc his address. Finally when I do hear something, I was told that I was being charged for damaging a unit. I had no idea what they were talking about, so I asked for them to explain or send me more info so I know what to do. I can prove I never damaged anything and they still wont tell me anything more so I cant defend myself. I have the ticket that is on the claim, and the documentation that the job was done well. I would like to join in on this class action lawsuit if possible.

I have worked for Barrister for about 4 years off and on. They consider me the lead tech in this area, traveling from my hometown of Indianapolis, to several cities in Kentucky, Chicago, Michigan and Ohio. They will dock my pay for God knows what and don't even warn you. You expect a pay and suddenly you're missing $300 as I am right now. It is a complete fight to get payment. I have no idea why they took it. They take forever to respond by email to inquiries and whether they are right or wrong, they stick to their decision to NOT pay you. I'm tired of it. They claim they highly respect me because I do great work for them but that doesn't equate according to the way I'm treated.

I have worked with Barrister some time and recently have not been paid for 14 work orders totaling over $1, 000! They falsely claim that I did not return the defective parts, yet with the provided tracking information, the head of the Core Returns department, Patrick Clark has confirmed they were returned. They charge $120 for each un-returned part. The department designated to help technicians with these issues has written this reply:

We will not reverse this penalties as we had helped you before in reversals but still the parts returns has issues from your side. We cannot help for penalty reversals.

My experience is Barrister has a business model to take advantage of technicians which then quit due to non-payment issues, and they just hire other technicians. I received an email with over 100 former techs conversing together who all have the same issues I have had.

The ceo of this company, should take a look at how her company is being run by the people she has put in charge. Before those people she trust runs her company out of business. Due to the way management is conducting business with their contract laborers, there is a law suite pending with a5 or 6 digit price tag. And if that person who is conducting the law suit can get 2 or more technicians to join him or her with the law suit, then it will be class action law suit, with a 7 digit price tag. Then there will be fines and penalties imposed on them from the state labor commissions in the states that the labor laws were violated as well as the us department of labor, and then there could be loss on contracts with company's that barrister global services because the respectable company's will not want to continue doing business the a company the willing violates the labor laws after all that one can wonder if the company will survive. If I were the ceo I would personally get involved and terminate all the management staff that has caused this issue, hire new personal and train them right. Train them to reply to e - mails, train them to answer the phone and not deliberately let it go to voice mail, and then return phone calls. And I would make sure that they pay the contractors, pay them on time, and pay them all the money they deserve, and I would personally contact the person who is filing the law suit and make it right with him or her before the legal papers are filed
