Bank of America mortgage process

We did a ref. with BOA recently. At first closing, my name was spelled wrong on every pages. The notarization person and us agreed to do a correction and come back again. The closing date is postponed from 12/7 for a later date. On 12/10, a new notarization person came to our house, we found out that in the closing file, I have two version of spelling of my name. The person said it's up to us to sign. In order not to involve any title mistakes, we refused to sign. After my complain to BOA, there are different people called me to reassure the mistake is taking care of and I can go ahead to do a closing. At our 3rd closing, I found on a few pages, my name is still wrong. With the suggestion for the notarization personal suggested to cross the wrong name and initialed my true name underneath.
So far, send email to the bank and no reply at all.

Bank of America Unable to establish accounts in both names

My husband and I hold joint accounts at Bank of America. One account I have had since 1974. (my husband and I did not marry until 2006). Once I married, I made this a joint account. Bank of America now list my husband as "Primary Owner". There is no primary owner, it is a joint account. BofA refused to change it.
When we went to establish beneficiaries on our accounts, BofA refused to set up the percentages we wanted for distribution. Stating they all had to be equal. So we had to go and get our trust and change the beneficiary to the Trust. BofA REFUSED to set up the accounts as we requested.
We asked to have our safety deposit box put in the name of our Trust. To that, BofA INSISTED on listing one person as primary owner. IT IS A JOINT TRUST.

Unless BofA fixes this, we will be moving all of accounts to another financial institution. JOINT accounts have TWO people as PRIMARY. not one as primary and one as secondary.
Need resolution.

Bank of America credit card purchase

On November 18, 2019, I made a purchase online from Kmart /Sears. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and a Christmas t-shirt size xxl.. using their size chart. I usually wear an xl.m so I ordered an XXL. The shoes arrived timely.. then after many weeks I sent many emails asking where the t-shirt was .. I get a tracking number saying it is shipping from China! I did not order from china!  I tried tracking it, .. it came back invalid tracking number! also got a foreign transaction fee!   Total.. $16.50 for the t-shirt and $1.48 fee...I have contacted this merchant through email and phone over 15 times before I filed a dispute with Bank of America.. and each time I am told they are looking into this, Now for the past week, , not one word back from them on the emails I keep sending. The t-shirt finally arrived.. it is tiny! I would say in American size..  it is a medium ( I wear an xl and ordered an xxl ) I contacted then immediately.. for a refund.. they asked me to send a pic of their t-shirt on top of one of my own.  I did this and sent them the pic. They said I should have used their size chart! I DID! ...  I wear an xl.. after seeing their size chart I ordered an XXL. I got an email we are looking into this.. that is all I have ever gotten, I filed the dispute with Bank of America.. they had me jump thru hoops sending so many pics and documents.. and I am still waiting and out the money. Did I return the t-shirt? NO!  Where too? There has been no communication from this company to be able to do ANYTHING!  I have tried. This is a fraud and a rip-off... I spoke to K-Mart they told me I had to deal directly with the merchant! I am upset. Never have I had Bank of America treat me like this over such a small amount of money. I used my credit card cause I felt safe that if anything goes wrong! Bank of America will stand behind me! Wrong! I would like a resolution to this quickly. We are going out of the country on Dec. 15th, 2019 and will not return until Jan 3rd, 2020 Thank you

Bank of America checking & savings accounts

Client's checking and savings accounts were suspended for "Fraud Review" without notice or explanation; and
account funds in excess of $400, 000 was converted by BOA or its agrents/assigns, without cause, notice or avenue of redress.

This is clear criminal theft by and thru BOA of my client's legitimate deposited funds . I'm now searching for the correct agencies to report this to and details of litigation damages I will be pursuing on behalf of my client.

Bank of America making a payment on my mortgage

On December 3, 2019 at approximately 10:45 a. m. I checked in at the front entrance to get my check which is made out to me and Bank of America to get it stamped or approved so I may be able to continue on to the Teller to pay on my Mortgage for the month. I was told that it would take from 15-20 minutes because there was one other person in head of me. So I had a seat in the waiting area whereas 25 minutes or better had pass and I went back to the desk where I had left my check and Driver License for approval and ask what was the hold-up. I was then told by a person wearing the name tag (Victoria) and the gentlemen (G) whom name I was unable to pronounce however it began with the letter "G" that sometimes it takes longer. So I took another seat in the waiting area. Later on the person (Victoria) called me back to the counter to get my check and Driver License because it had been stamped with the approval stamp and initial. Therefore I proceeded to the Teller where I waited in line an extended amount of time to finally be called "Next" and presented my checks to pay my on my Mortgage and was told that it had to be deposit in my account whereas I told the young lady that both checks was to be applied to my Mortgage and that there was no need for them or the one with both my name and Bank of America name to be cashed and then deposit in my account. She then requested my Driver License again and I told her there were no need for that because the check already had the approval stamp on it. I requested to speak with a Manager. The person wearing the name tag Victoria came and said that it was a new system and that I had to show my Driver License again by then it was 12:10 p.m. I asked her if she was a Manager and she said that she was, however I was not convince that she really was but I followed through and showed my Driver License again. I proceeded in telling her that every since she been there and before I come every month to pay on my Mortgage and to sometimes make a deposit and it has never nor should it of had taken that long for me to make a payment. She only said that she was going to make note of it and see what could be done about it. She was not very convincing nor did I feel that she even cared about the length of time the hold process taken me that day. Something need to be done about this situation and also the Bank itself need to be more people friendly. There is no sitting arrangements for the disable nor the elderly and at any given time one has to wait in line for a long period of time. Now I myself uses a cane and sometime a walker due to my disability and that amount of standing is definitely a hardship on me. I do hope you address this issue ASAP. Just so you know that I have been with Bank of America through my Mortgage for over 13 years and I use to mail my payment in but that seem to be a problem because I was told that they did not receive the full payments or that one of the checks were missing. So therefore now I brings it to the Bank of America which is the closet location to me every month because I'm told that no one else can do it for me since the check is made out to me(In my name) and to Bank of America from Dallas County Health & Human Services Department.

Bank of America unauthorized charges

I submitted 2 separate claims to the claims department for unauthorized charges from Apple ITunes that I discovered on the mobile app. After submitting both claims they were paid but then I later received a letter stating that they would be reversing the credit on one of the claims I called & asked why & I was told that since I have made purchases from Apple iTunes in the past I authorized the charges yet the other claim was from Apple iTunes & they made that credit permanent. I then disputed the denial & they told me they wouldn't reverse the credit until reviewing the appeal but they still reversed the credit I have been going back & forth about this claim after submitting evidence I still haven't received a response & it's been more than 30 days of submitting the appeal & I haven't received a credit to my account. The customer service wasn't knowledgeable nor professional, one lady I spoke with asked why did I submit so many pages of evidence I told her because I am showing proof that I did not authorize the charges & I feel if I needed to fax a 1, 000 pages of evidence it shouldn't matter I felt that it was rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate of the matter.

Bank of America property claims

After speaking to a representative from Bank of America on October 28th, 2019 regarding my property claim, On November 2nd I receive a packet from Bank of America with detailed "instructions" on how to ensure the insurance claim process moves quickly.in Bold print it tells me to not sign the check and send to Bank of America. I send check on the 6th of November, 2019. On November 18th, I receive a fed ex envelope with the check back but this time requesting my signature. A phone call was made to Bank of America at 515 PM upon receiving this fed ex envelope at my doorstep. After 15 minutes of getting placed on hold and/or shuffled around, I than spoke to Anna Ruth from Jacksonville. During the conversation with Anna Ruth I was told I would be having to submit my contractor's information before they (Bank of America), would release funds via check with my name and my contractors name on check.. is this a joke? Since my account was past due at time of loss, in which I hated that it was, this was the process they would have to follow. 5 years with paying every month and having no late payments. A person falls into a hardship but continues paying on mortgage only to find more of a struggle. My account is current, and paid up until next payment due date of 1-1-2020.in the real world you just can't have a contractor come and do work and have to wait to get paid. Reverse the roles, and I promise you, having to jump through additional hoops to appease Bank of America would be the last thing you would want to be dealing with at a time of loss. "We're here to help!" Is that the quote for BOA? That is not correct. That is a false statement and should be the last statement that's stands behind BOA!

Bank of America mailing debit/credit cards to customers without notice

On 11-14-19 I discovered two debit/credit cards were mailed to me on May 31, 2019 of which I did not receive and had no notice that they were being sent. Especially when the ones I have did not expire. No answers given - just B of A wanting to now replace them. Explained there are mail problems, but they insisted on mailing them to my address. Requested they mail cards to a local branch office for pick up. They could not! They did, however, offer to send them UPS.

Additional Problems:
Bank branches refusing to accept cash or checks to be deposited into B of A customers account.

Bank branch offices not answering the telephone for hours.

Texts to authenticate me sent to the wrong telephone number, therefore no texts received.

Customer service rep refusing to transfer me to a Manager after numerous requests

Poor, poor customer service with unreasonable bank practices!

Bank of America looking for 10,000.00 missing money

i did a transfer to this bank to a Loriene Brown for a home.
she ended up being a fraud and never went and picked up my money .
BOA called to let me know they had my money and it was a fraud. They said they would be holding my money for 90 days.
i called several time trying to find out how to get my money because i was suffering and loosing everything i had.
they told me i had to go through my bank RCB of Blackwell, OK,
I told them they refused to help me and BOA said they could not talk to me legally.
after 6 months i recievced 80, 269.00 when they owe me 90, 000, 00.
I dont know witch bank has it. each one tells me the other one has it.
so I'm contacting you for you help to investagate the tracting of this 90, 000.00
i need my monry and no onbe has the right to keep any of my money,
ive been through hell because of each bank telling me different stories.
please help me find out if they sent the whole 90, 000.00 to RCB or what happened to it and why it is still being held.

Bank of America checking account was closed 15 year customer

Hello

I want to bring attention to bank of america executives if they are not aware .Bank Of America Los angeles Area Customers who have last name ending YAN or IAN they will close your account just because you happened to have that last name . this is pure discrimination based on national origination . I am not in search to find class action lawyer to represent us Armenians or anybody who has last name ending YAN or IAN . This is So wrong . i hope my message will be loud and clear . NO DISCRIMINATION. SHAME ON YOU BANK OF AMERICA

Bank of America teller

They could not get the machine to work at the bank today. Very frustrating as I had my atm card and they could not get it to work. Now I need to wiat several days. Unfair becuase I don't have access to my money for 3 days now. They are holding my money, I have mine ID, my attm card. Why can I not have access to withdraw since they can't get my card to work?

Bank of America air alaska credit credit

I have had this horrible card experience for over 6 months. I am an individual who promptly pays all my bills in full and on time.. Twice during my ownership od this card i have been advised that my payment was past due. Not true your online system apparently takes days to acknowledge receiving paymet. So Twice i made duplicate payments believing that the payment i tried to schedule the first time failed. It has virtually impossible to get my duplicate payments refunded.

I have more excuses as to why it hasn't been done. Now the latest response i got was that it would take at least 30 days. What? Ridiculous This is my money not yours.

To add insult to injury I closed my account and demanded a refund of my annual fee. Instead you charged me an additional annual fee. WHat are you doing? Do you have completely ignorant individuals running your customer service center.

I plan on reporting you to the banking commission as well as filing a class action suit against Bank of America. I am a shareholder and I will be selling those shares as well.

The worst customer service center experience ever. Dealing with the devil would be easier.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I will also tell Alaska Airlines what you have put through. And i will tell them that as a result of my experience with you I will no longer be flying Alaska Air. I am sure this is not why they partnered with you.

Bank of America account was closed for no reason

Bank of america sent notice that account is closed and also not allowing to be cosigner on other accounts. I have been customer of BOA for 20 years with lot of funds in bank and also excellent credit history. when I call they simply say business decision.

very worse bank after long business - I bet if I go to any bank in the world, they will welcome with red carpet.

@bank of america victim.. Same just happens to me. Worse because mi mom was authorized on my account they will closer her personal account she has with my dad, where they get their pension deposit, very bad way to do business after 20 years of banking with them is the least i deserve

Bank of America quality of service

On November 2, I visited Bank of America Financial Center in Woodbridge, NJ. I had a banker Jaya, who was rude. I went in there for assistance since I lost my card. But was met with uglyness in her attitude. First she constantly stated I was wrong about a code which I understand. But she mentioned it over in over. While I just wanted to know the next step. She called the supervisor who mentioned the same thing. They were rude, and condescending. Please trained your bankers about customer service.

Bank of America service!

You know it's really sad when you go and try to send your mother some money and the account just locks. You call the 1888 number and they tell you that the account just been canceled. I've been using this bank for like 5 yrs never really had an issue but this is definitely fraud. I have money on my checking and savings account how do you just cancel my account like that with no valid reason. Never again

Bank of America I used my state ben if it card there and atm took my $600 cash benefit

On October 16th about 12:20 in the afternoon I went to pull my cash aid our I put I wanted $600 in 100 dollars bills and the machine said I want allowed to pull that much at a time so I tries again and the machine then said I have insuficant funds so I went to the atmw right next to it and tried a few more times to no avail no money was dispensed I would like the cameras viewed to see if I left or somebody else took the money or the machine never dispensed I would like my benefits returned to me asap thank u my name is Debbie Martinez [protected]

Bank of America cashapp

I recently received a message from my brothers cell phone asking for money. Since he is my brother and I always look out for him I sent the money with no questions asked because that's my brother. He's been asking for the new iPhone and I told him I would give him as much as I could and that's what I've been doing. Later on that day he messages me on Instagram and reveals to me that he lost his phone a while ago after I asked him did he get the money I sent. He said he has no knowledge of him asking for any money nor did he receive any money I'm just tired because I work hard for my money and was only trying to be a good person and helping someone out but I would like you guys to please help me in getting my money back and it won't happen again. The person has blocked me and denied all my refund request and cashapp won't do anything about it.

Bank of America I want my money back now!!

I had over $1000 in my account and they closed my account without notifying me and said that i agreed to closure of account. They say i have to wait 15 days until they mail me out a cashier's check. How stupid! I never gave them permission to close my account and take my money to hold until they want to return it. This is a bad bank that steals money from people. They need to be closed down with all the complaint they have filed against them.

Bank of America no service help - long wait in line

While visiting your branch today to make a deposit for one of your customers, I was presented with a long line to get to a teller. I waited patiently for 30 minutes while one teller was on the job helping the entire line. Several other employees were in the branch doing absolutely nothing. Everyone in the line was complaining. I asked to speak to the manager who explained tuesday thru thursday only 1 teller was scheduled to work even though it was clear that more were needed to service the long line. He said there was nothing to be done about it. I said providing terrible service can not be the answer but it is. He said I was raising a commotion and asked me to leave. The commotion was raised because of the poor service and everyone was complaining not just me. I did not leave but waited quitely for my turn with the teller. Once I approached the teller, she refused to take my deposit on the managers instructions. She also laughed about it along with another woman who was standing with her. It was pretty embarrassing for your organization.So after waiting about 40 minutes, I left without being allowed to make the deposit. Marilyn Mcham (your customer) an senior lady who counts on this income to live will have to wait a little longer for her money. She will be pretty upset with you. I hope she closes her account and moves to a bank that values their customers time. I have a video of the entire wait and discussion with the manager. I am considering posting this on Facebook and Youtube to show everyone what its like to do business at one of your branches.

Bank of America my home mortgage

I need you to review all the loan modification documents you had me sign, something is wrong, my balance keeps going UP not down. You told me to go to your attprney and pay a $10, 000 cashiers check, which I did. Then they made me sign a stipulation agreement, which I did, and they notarized it. THen I made my payments on time, and they kept returning them. Could not get a hold of anyone at the law firm Marshall & Watson or anyone at the bank...I sent faxes, emails, sent certified letters and Federal Express letters. No one called me. Please HELP me, loan #[protected].
