one lost baggage ( package) that never reached the destination and so far is still missing, it was paid an extra charge for checking this package, inside its a brand new set of sails for a star boat, I was travelling for a very important competition and the fact that the sails never arrived caused me a tremendous inconvenience, and a loss of aprox 1700€.
it has passed 12 days without any further information.
im claiming a generous compensation for this loss and inconvenience.

BahamasAir Holdings delayed and cancelled flights

UP220 miami to Nassau 2 Aug 2019 cancelled. Missed nights stay in Nassau & lost out on hotel booking which was prepaid. Unable to get refund of $114.
UP223 nassau to miami 12 Aug 2019 delayed by 5 hours which meant I missed connecting flight at 5.30pm from Miami to London Gatwick. Staff at airport wouldn't help at all instead telling me it's only bahamasair responsibility to get to end destination. I had to book 2 flights to get to UK, XL airways Miami to Paris and easyjet paris to London Gatwick. I want refunding for the additional flights I had to book due to the extensive delay of flight UP223 and refund of additional train booking as missed connecting train travel from London Gatwick to home which was prepaid for specific train booking.
I have emailed time and time again and im getting no acknowledgement at all for my complaint. The initial cancelled and delayed flights ruined the start and end of our holiday and cost me a substantial amount of additional money to get home.

BahamasAir Holdings my missing suitcase

Hi I recently travelled on Bahamasair to the USA I was booked for the Nassau-Miami flight on the 3rd of August 2019 10 a.m. I as bumped off of my flight to accommodate other individuals and as a result I was given an option of travelling on a later flight to Fort Lauderdale on the 2am unfortunately the flight did nt leave Nassau until 5p.m. but when I got in Lauderdale my luggage was not there...I was told to go to Miami because that is where it was sent after going to Miami the following day and spending 2 hours in the airport being turned around they could not find my suitcase and told me to go back to lauderdale I went there and to no avail my suitcase wasn't there...It is a blue Samsonite suitcase with my name Donnel T. L. Newbold on it and contains other luggages and my clothing and other valuables...I do not have the tag number because I gave the receipt along with my boarding pass to a pedro who is employed at Bahamasair counter...I NEED MY SUITCASE IAM CURRENTLY IN ORLANDO FLORIDA AND MY CONTACT NUMBER IS [protected] I AM STAYING AT ORANGE LAKE RESORTS IN KISSIMEE FLORIDA ...PLEASE I AM ASKING FOR ASSISTANCE IN THIS MATTER OR I WILL TAKE THIS MATTER TO THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE AUTHORITY WHEN I RETURN TO NASSAU!

As required I checked in 2 hours before departure. This comprised of me having to drive for 1 hour 6 mins from West Palm Beach where I had to leave my neice who had emergency surgery to get home to my son's school meeting/production. It is important for me to bring this to your attention to display that whether in US or at home in Nassau my time was valuable in both places and that sitting in the airport served absolutely no purpose.
At check in I asked the agent if this flight would be on time knowing the importance of getting home on time. I was told that it was scheduled to be on time. At this response I proceeded to the gate. At 3:16pm it was announced that my flight was not delayed; It was cancelled and combined with the last flight. I find it ironic that so many of those 4/5 pm flights are cancelled or delayed and combined with the last flight. Its my opinion and the opinion of many Bahamians that this is done intentionally to ensure profitablity. While this would make business sense it shows that the National Airline Carrier shows no consideration for it's passengers. Like me, there are others with plans who have scheduled their flights to accommodate their plans only to be completely destroyed by the inconsideration of Bahamasair.
To add insult to injury, the agent asked me to sign for a meal and travel voucher as consideration for the inconvenience caused. I signed without seeing the voucher with the impression that the signature was only to confirm receipt. However, when i received the voucher it read (in my own terms) that once I accepted the voucher I accepted that Bahamas air would not be held liable for the inconveniences caused and that I am satisfied with what I received. This was extremely insulting. I had asked the agent what other alternatives could be provided to ensure I did not miss the engagement for my son. I was told there was absolutely nothing Bahamas air was willing to do. JetBlue had two flights leaving, one at 3:59 and one at 4:59pm. After being refused an option to get home in time for my son's event. I was told that the flight would depart at 8pm. This too did not happen. I boarded the flight at 9:02pm. As I suffer from a slip disc I am unable to sit up for long periods without pain. Therefore, I requested to be put up in a hotel for the night and leave on the morning flight. This too was denied.
I refused to accept that I was satisfied with a $12 meal voucher which could not cover any meal in the airport and a $100 travel voucher which is less than the cost of the one way flight I bought from FLL to Nas as sufficient or justifiable compensation for the inconvenience, pain and suffering caused by Bahamas Air. I was made to sit in the airport for a period of 7 hours and 29 mins which caused back spasms, excruciating pain and most importantly the loss of opportunity to see my son in his production.
This can not be ignored for a $100 voucher. I am asking BahamasAir to reconsider the insult, injury and inconvenience inflicted because of their negligence. Despite so many delays and disappointments we still choose to fly Bahamas air but this incident is completely unacceptable.

Because of a delay, I missed my flight to Madrid. The company had me for more than 3 hours waiting in the airport, cold and without any food (it was late). They told me that there wasn't any hotels, so I had to insist for more than two hours until they provided me with a room and tickets for some food.I have to waste one day of my holidays in airports because of this.

BahamasAir Holdings flight bahamasair 801 on aug 20, 2018 12 pm flight/confirmation rjaxaq (bahamasair)

My sister and bought round-trip tickets on your airline (Bahamasair) for my old mother (who needs a wheelchair). Her flight was at 12 pm today. She works a part-time job. She had to cancel her job today and tomorrow as she is just getting ready to board now at 9:30 pm and missed her shift today and won't be able to make it early tomorrow.

My sister and I noticed no representative from your company provided any information until way later in the late afternoon. We called your airline and your agency worker had no idea either and then passed me off to another dead phone number. I've never seen an airline run so poorly.

We will never use your airline again you can bet on that! Horrible! Unorganized! Unprofessional!

BahamasAir Holdings flight up208 ft lauderdale to nassau may 28th 2018

Good morning,

My first complaint didn't go through but I screenshotted it and attached it to this message.

A brief summary :

Yesterday was this first time I experienced such horrible service with bahamasair.
From the ticket agent checking in straight down to the delay in flights.
I understand that things happen but during that time pleasant customer service is indeed needed. The ticket agent was very unpleasant. I wasn't greeted and it was so bad I had to ask him if he was having a bad day which he then said "everyday is a bad day." straight face! No smile! Then told me to put my bag on the scale. I did that and he gave me my ticket and said go to hate a7.
I checked in early. Like around 4pm so i'm sure he could've let me know from the start that my 8:30pm flight was delayed until 10:40 which was then delayed again until 11:30. Once again I understand that this is a "common" thing but at least give an apology or some compensation because once a traveler is late or need to make some changes, we have to pay! This is utter nonsense and if you cannot get your flights together, have suitable and customer friendly rrepresentatives.

BahamasAir Holdings delayed flight

My flight number is UP 208 from Fort Lauderdale airport to Nassau, Bahamas. I've been at the airport since 6:30pm. The time now is 10:20pm. The guy at the gate said our flight is delayed until after 12am. I want some sort of refund or comp. I had an emergency that I had to attend! And this is rediculos. I even asked to speak to a manager he was no where to be found and I paid for a round trip shuttle transportation from my resort that was non refundable. The shuttle stop giving transportation at 12am.

BahamasAir Holdings customer service

Bahamas air has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Bahamas air is going to be the reason Freeport goes under . When I checked in at the Freeport airport they told me my flight MIGHT be delayed but they weren't sure and would let me know. About 10 mins before we were scheduled to leave they announced we were delayed like we couldn't figure that out . Then she said the airplane was in the air on the way to pick us up. That flight was a flat out lie because there was no flight on the way to Freeport. Then your employees realized that the plane had been at the airport the entire time and they could get us loaded in about 10 mins if they were cleared to take this plane. So about 4 hours after we were supposed to leave we were finally boarding. The gate attendant was made aware that this delay caused me to miss my next flight. She instructed me to speak to a manager in Ft. Lauderdale when I landed. When I got to Florida and went to the desk there was a man there pretending to be the assistant manager because there is no way a company would hire a person that rude, ignorant, and not friendly or compassionate at all. He claimed his name was NEWBOLD. That guy was screaming at customers unbelievable women included. He needs to be fired immediately. He also needs to be dragged out back in the Ally and taught a lesson with how rude he was, and that was towards other customers not even me. So now I'm stuck with $1500 extras in bills for hotels flights etc. I really want to be reimbursed for this expense because it was not my fault but your companies. How can your company not be smart enough to realize that the plane had been there the whole time. There's millions of people without jobs and you guys have managed to hire people that don't deserve a job. If this is not resolved to my liking the FAA will be informed and the news etc until people realize how incompetent Bahamas air employees are. BahamasAir Holdings damaged luggage and stolen items

My bag was torn open and 25 bottles of men and ladies perfumes were stolen from my bag. Namely 23 men's coming and 2 ladies perfumes.
My fiance and I were on Bahamasair flight 202 out of fort flauthdale to Nassau on the 19th of November 2017.
After everyone else had received their bags, we were under the impression that our final piece of luggage was left behind. But then it finally came thru on the belt half way taped up on one side and you can see a poor attempt to also sew it up with a red thread. After verifying that it was our bag we took it. We had to completely wrap the whole bag with plastic wrap before our flight to Inagua the next day. It was then that we realized what was missing.
The items that is missing is valued at $625 and we would also like to be compensated for the new bag that was damaged which is valued at $50.
Our travel information is party of 2 and our names are Ivas Arnett and Francionn Cox.

BahamasAir Holdings service

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I wish to express my experience travelling on flight 203 to Fort Lauderdale. I had an appointment for 1 pm and that was the purpose of my one day trip. The flight was extremely delayed. We left the Bahamas at approximately 11:50 am. and I cleared my baggage about 1:45pm Hence my trip was a waste of money and time. I ended up staying at the Airport for my 8:30 pm flight which was also late.
I will like to be compensented for my money or another ticket as I missed my appointment. Out of the full day I spent the complete day at the Airport that can not be correct as I paid for this trip and I did not achieve my goal. My goal was to met my appointment instead of that I stay at both airports for the full day. Then what did I pay for?
Please understand my position as I now have to make another arrangement to travel for that same appointment.
I am a senior person and this is not fair to me.
I wished that I will never have such a nightmare travel experience like this one ever in this life time.

BahamasAir Holdings Expenses occurred refund

While on vacation in Nassau Bahamas, my luggage never arrived. I received it 3 weeks after returning home.Have spent almost 100.00 in phone calls and still no refunds. My luggage was gone for over 4 weeks, I'am Just trying to get reimbursed for the week I was in the Bahamas. They say I'am allowed $50.00 a day while there but have not received a dime. They have given me email addresses to contact people, but when I send them they come back undeliverable. Very bad customer relations! I had no luggage for the full week I was there, so would like the compensation normally given.

BahamasAir Holdings Never ever use this airline

I was supposed to leave from ft lauderdale aug 31 to Bahamas which is ONLY a 25 min flight they want you there 1-2 hrs before to got there early was supposed to be in 9;30 they were delayed a hour got there late to Atlantis had family crisis had to leave sun instead of mon sat night from 7pm-8;30 concierge tried to reach them nobody would answer and finally said they open at 4;30 am stayed up all night called then and they said no 6am reservations open slept for a hour and a half called no we only open at 8 am? are these people on drugs? i have never ever heard of a airline having hours and getting such bad info then they said they were closed the whole day and wi could not leave until mon and if i did the ticket was 270 more for a one way new ticket? i do not know about anybody who is reading this but by now 12 hrs later i finally met this girl at concierge she had a friend who got me out went to the airport at 12;30pm flight was 3;45 the lady at the counter was sooooooo rude and unbusiness like 3;30 pm announcement delay just have to reposition airplane then we will board almost 5 pm ok we board sit in the plane for 40 mins with all the stinky smell outside and air really not working what a NIGHTMARE from 7pm the night before finally make it back to ft lauderdale i would never ever set foot near this airline they are i am told by a lot of Bahamians that they would never go on it they are always late the condition of the plane is disgusting and there customer service SUCKS please take my advice all i wanted to do was get to the Bahamas in 25 mins not 3 hrs and have such aggravation of trying to change a date and a time i hope this helps everybody to never ever use this airline am also told that they crash thank for reading this…
