Badoo unauthorized product purchases, and unethical behaviour

How did a weekly payment of 4 euro, turn into 49.99? It was a clear pricing option that I did not choose. The payments were not subject to confirmation or review and I did not receive a proof of purchase by email. Your own internal procedures were not followed and I was not able to make a conscience and willful transaction. Therefore its fraud, I used these credits thinking I only bought 4 euro worth. I once again ask for a full refund minus my original intent to purchase one week of your services.

Moreover, how come all my over 2000 credits were taken away with out a full refund? I demand my 49.99 euro back, or I will pursue further measures. I have zero credits therefore I no longer have the product that was forced on me and which I did not want. I now understand that as soon as I filled out the final two digits on my card security code. The screen jumped to the most expensive option! This is not ethical behaviour!

Badoo refund issue

I have had numerous problems with this site, fake profiles, i had to block several rude and crude people, sending of inappropriate pictures, i feel checks are not suffient enough, as ive beem on other sites with no problems. I sent emails regarding issues, with no support.It resulting in a major knock of my confidence, i cancelled my profile.The company notified me they made a refund to myself For £14.99 apparently made 3rd October 2018.To date this refund has failed to reach my bank account, i notified my bank and no such refund has been done, i am appaulled theres no phone number to contact Badoo, ive sent several emails as they at first said if i hadn't recieved it by 17th to let them know, i have heard nothing. I have proof as my bank statement that i still am owed £14.99 i asked them to file a complaint, and investigate why they havent sent it as yet, the bank advise me 3-5days!.i have now had several emails just ignored.i feel terrible circumstances i had throughout, and now this, i now ask for compensation as to whats happened to me with support, and the £14.99 back, i Will not let this go, its not right or fair!.

I have made several complaints about this company. They apparently issued a refund to myself on 3rd Oct.Still to this day i have not recieved it.i have asked them to investigate, i want a formal complaint logged.my bank has proof, they say it should take 3-5days maximum.I dont think Badoo have issued this.They are now ignoring me.i want my money back please, after troubles i had leading to close my account, now this.its not acceptable nor fair.

Badoo the website bought a product in my name without my consent.

I am sure I am not the first one and not the last one to complaint about their website

The website without my consent made me pay 10 euro for a service, that not only I don't need, but a service I specifically don't want.

There is a popularity page on the website, I did not press on any button that specifically approve my payment for their service, yet the website, which feels like a pure and complete scam at this point, made a payment in my name.

Even the email they provided for paypal is not maintained by them, what a joke.

I would like to have a full refund on this.

Badoo badoo premium

Hello,
I had an account with badoo premium activated and then cancelled my account and had it deleted.
I have since created a new account and have no payment details attached to it yet I'm sti being charged for the premium services in the deleted account.
This means when my account was deleted Badoo kept my bank and card details and are still charging for a premium service on a deleted account!
This is unacceptable especially considering that Badoo have told me they wi not refund said monies regardless of them being taken against a deleted account!
Fraud springs to mind and to be honest I intend to sue Badoo for a breach of my consumer rights and for taking monies of a customer when not authorised to do so!

Badoo regarding my refund.

I don't use this badoo app normally .. today i was using it and some pop ups came .. i was closing them and by mistake i pressed the payment button .. it charged me 5100 roubles around 90 dollars .. i am student and i can't afford such big amount .. i came russia for study and my parents can't afford 100 dollars for this subscription. Kindly refund me as soon as possible because it was done by mistake .. i don't want any such subscription .

Badoo badoo premium

I was scammed out 80 [censored]ing dollars for the badoo premium service. I do not use this service never have never will! I am highly upset that I am being charged for this service. I don't USE IT! I read the terms and policy. It's not fair to be non refundable. I don't have money as it is.. And for you guys to take my last $80 for a service I don't use. I'm disgusted and appalled. I will NOT use badoo again and I will surely tell others not use it as well. Due to the deception and theft you guys are involved in. I want this fixed. I want my money back.

I did not want this service on my phone I don't know how I got this service. I don't even know what the payment option for this service. I don't want to be locked in something that is going to take money From my credit card without my knowledge and from I service I don't use. Please fix this and help me.

I am requesting that a profile on Badoo be blocked completely as this user have scammed me of money running into thousands of dollars and is being investigated by the enforcement agency in my country. The name of the profile on Badoo is "Ama" current location is Abakaliki, age 26. Photos of user is attached. User is a scammer. Has duped me money worth $3000

Badoo charges on my bank account

hi I have been having a lot of money been taken out my bank account from ur company even though I until I called u today had no idea what ur company was It is not just once or twice it is several times per day and it has been happening now for quite a while but as I have been dealing firstly with my terminally ill mother then her death in august I have been too busy until now check my bank statements I can assure you I have no interest in any dating app Iam a widower with 3 disabled children as well as taking care of disabled family members I don't have time for that type of thing and it definatley does not interest me in the slightest I would be thankful if u could deal with matter and sort a refund for all the money u have been taking out my account my name is mrs veronica archer address 35 Brecon road Blackburn Lancashire BB1 3JY email account veronica.[protected]@btinternet.com D.O.B 29/06/1968

Badoo badoo one click scam

Badoo charge me 79.90 on a supposedly on a one click purchase I did. This I can guarantee I did not do but not surprised as they do pop ups offering you their different packages to buy and probably in one of those they claim i did press it. I contacted them and they tell me that it is written in their policy that there are no refunds. I'm pretty sure they are good at this and they get a very good chunk of revenue scamming their members this way. Everyone knows anything can be refunded specially when it is immediate after the charge as I did. they hide under their policy but this was created as a legal way to scam their members. If you have had this same issue. please comment and contact me to tell me your experience . I'm looking to bring some karma to this crooked company with no values in place.

You're not the only one. This just happened to me the other day but I'm not standing for it.I'm going to contest the charges with my credit union.I've several people complain about this happening to them. I agree.This company is crooked.Wish I could find a way to file a claim against them through the FTC, BBB, or some other agency.They need to be punished and fined heavily

Badoo blocked account

Hello I've been blocked for no reason at all. This is not fair, on top of that everytime I make a new profile it gets blocked again! I've tried a new email new number and nothing works. I was having great conversations and they have ended because of this issue! Can I be unblocked please? Also on the app there should be an option to contact Badoo if issues appear, but instead it tells you to contact them but doesn't lead you to the info!

WORST app I’ve ever come across in my life. I Uploaded all my pictures and went off it. Come back an hour later IVE BEEN BLOCKED for breaching terms and conditions are you actually ok? Cos I didn’t even message anybody how could I have “breached” terms and conditions. This is has happened to me before many times in the past you coming up with silly reasons to block me. I once got blocked because I told people to follow my Instagram as I can’t keep up with the messages. I once got blocked for CLEARLY joking with someone about buying me a dress. SORT IT OUT. WE ARE HUMAN. THE APP IS THERE FOR ENTERTAINMENT BUT YOURE BLOCKING US FOR EVERY LITTLE THING WE DO.

Badoo unauthorized payment

I was charged £69.99 for 'lifetime subscription' to premium features despite the fact that I was attempting to delete my account as I am now in a relationship and therefore have no use for the app I remember being in settings, searching. when I didn't
Where I could delete my account I briefly left the app to reply to a message. I then received an email telling me I had just payed £60 to Badoo!

I have seen many complaints online of this exact same thinghappening to other people citing "unauthorised payments" going as far back as a year ago so why this is an issue not fixed I do not understand

This was a payment I did not authorise whether it be by me accidentally clicking the the upgrade button ( though highly unlikely) or something else there should be a safety measure in place to prevent this from happening, even as small as a confirmation email especially when you're stealing over £60 directly from my account, within minutes I Emailed customer services who have since ignored my emails. What's worse is I have just received ANOTHER email saying I'm now paying a further £120 pounds on top of my £60 pounds? FOR WHAT! what did I just pay £180 (TO AN APP I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF DELETING) for!

The company have refused my refund request through PayPal even though there is normally a 14 day free trial of this service anyway, that I did not receive.

I would like to avoid taking this further and resolve the situation promptly.

They won't refund it their policy is no refunds, you can ask them and maybe they'll be nice, but they'll likely just say "that's not my problem"

Before anyone purchases premium you should know is their terms and conditions state you have the right to refund within 14 however if you purchase premium you lose the right to refund you purchase which is incredibly smart small print I'll give you that, but not good for the consumer. That being said I was refunded and the situation was resolved I'll update my complaint

The company was reluctant to refund me. Their refund policy is essentially non existent: you reserve the right to refund as long as you don't purchase anything? Some of the staff do not give a damn about the customer, you just have to roll the dice and hope that you don't get a generic or automated response and an actual person who is reasonable.

please when i checking badoo app accidentally touch badoo premium and then it get activated .when i get a sms fro my bank i pay you 5800 Sri Lanka rupees

Badoo badoo refuses to refund my unintentional $69.99 subscription

Last night I came across a notification while using Badoo for the free trial. I decided "why not" and signed up to see what the service has to offer. Not even a full minute later, the app tried asking me if I would like to purchase a full 6 month subscription. While trying to click out of it, I accidentally paid $69.99 for the full subscription. I attempted to complain to Badoo's customer service and received a response stating due to their terms and conditions, I was not eligible for a refund. I replied back stating that my account clearly shows that I had signed up for the free trial moments beforehand. Why on earth would anyone pay $70 for a subscription when they had signed up for a free trial seconds beforehand? After doing some research, I've seen other people issued courtesy refunds for similar experiences. The fact that Badoo is refusing my refund for a justified accident makes me not even want to use this app again in fear that the same thing is going to happen again.

Badoo online dating service.

I joined badoo on monday the 24th of september 2018. A free dating site where you buy credits.
I purchased £7.99 worth of credits on tuesday the 25th with my bank card.
Today friday the 28th, £69.99 has been withdrawn from my account without authorisation. Supposedly for 6 months subscription at premium rate.
I have emailed the company, but have herd nothing back.
I have read online that this has happened to a number of people.

Badoo badoo app charge from my iban account directly.

I din't provided any IBAN details to the Badoo app and today when I logged in to my bank account I can see they have deducted different denomination amount from my Internet Bank account how can Badoo directly deduct the money from my IBAN account when I have not provided any details to the app this is complete leakage of data that badoo is doing this is really a Data Breach I will take it to more higher authorities as how Badoo can deduct the amount from my Internet banking account when I am not providing any details to them.

Badoo I am complaining about my block account

I was block for know just cause, I supposed someone report me but you are suppose to find out what happen before blocking me. A guy ask for my naked picture and because I refuse him he block me. Please I need my account back, I want badoo to please help me get my account unblock. I remember the guy name is Bishop you can check it. I love chatting here to be happy when ever I am sad.

My name is Nitin Kharate I had added the my debit card details for baddo premium and after 14 days ₹ 2160 amount is debited from my account without my permissions. I do not want to this membership. Please deactivate my premium membership and refund my amount to my account. I am deleting my account now. You can check I am not using this account from last 1 month. How could you take money from bank without my prior permissions. Resolved my issue ASAP otherwise I will raise complaint in consumer court for this fraud. Let me know what if you want any details from my side. I had also not select autofill option from Baddo

They are telling me as per terms and condition they are not refunded my amount now I am going to write a article in newspaper as well as in social media I will raise complaint in consumer court. Badoo app is totally fraud app now I am going to wipe out this fraud app from Androide and apple

Baddo is fraud app this is cheating this app should be ban. if you added your bank details in this app they take money from your bank directly without your permissions.

Badoo account blocked

My first account was opened sometime in june with this email address... [protected]@gmail.com at a point I couldn't have access to the account again so I opened another account with my other email ...[protected]@gmail.com only to wake-up and realize that it's been blocked.. Which I don't know the reason why not until recently while I was going through my mails I stumbled upon a message sent by badoo which stated thus...
"Your account has been blocked
Some of our users have reported that you're using Badoo for marketing or commercial purposes. We don't allow this: Badoo is designed to help people make real connections. We have decided to remove you from our platform."
Which is not true. Please kindly look into this and unblock my account .

Badoo money taken on my credit card without authorization

Hi,

In July 2017, I downloaded the Badoo app. I used a few weeks and then deleted the app because I didn't like, everything was blocked and I was not going to pay for a dating app. While I used it, I never subscribed to anything and didn't even make an in-app purchase whatsoever.
My Apple account is linked to an old email address so I don't receive the emails associated to this address.
Today, while searching for something else related to Apple in my emails, I found out that Badoo charged me 3, 99 for ''super powers'' - which I NEVER signed for nor approved nor ever deliberately paid once - 55 TIMES in the last year. It's a total of 219$ (without taxes).
I'm sure there is a way for Badoo to see that I was inactive this whole time on the app and I want a full refund of this money - that I, once again, NEVER approved to pay.
Looking forward to hear from Badoo soon.

Badoo social meeting

I am a Volunteer Medical Doctor treating people world wide including all major war zones for no personal financial compensation. My original home is New York City, but I reside in the city of Panama, Republic of Panama for security reasons related to my medical work in war zones. I joined Badoo with hopes of meeting a very nice young lady with long hair. (My fetish is long hair on a women since a child). I am an expert in computer security. I sent an email to Badoo Support, advising them that they were allowing women who were in jail for muder, drug dealers, and all other major crimes to communicate with locals in the city of Panama, from the women's jail. I told them that they need to block these accounts, being that it is not in ones best interest to be communcating with a criminal locked up in jail.

I received an email back from their support, advising me that my account was blocked for life and I should read their guidelines. Badoo owner is Russian and resides in London, England. He even refused to reply back or block criminals. Seems that Panama allows hard core criminals to maintain a Smart Intelligent Cell Telephone in their jail cell. They ask you for money to buy a Mas Movil Card, or other card to use their cell telephone.
