Avas Flowers Flowers for funeral

I ordered flowers from avas flowers on 7/3/20 for my first cousin who passed.
I needed them delivered on july 4thby 1:30 to the chapel at the local funeral home.
I was assured it was no problem. I called to make sure they had delivered them and found out that they were unable to get in touch with delivery. I was told the prior day that I would get an email and a picture of the flowers along with a delivery time from the driver. When this did not happen I called.
They had lost my email address. I asked them to have a manager call me within an hour. No call. No flowers apparently either. I did not find that out until the following day. I received an email that they were unable to deliver my order that cost $186.00. I had been unable to fly out to the funeral. During the covid times the flowers were all the more important to let my family know we were thinking of them! No flowers!
Yes they said they would refund the money after I asked but the point is that they were extremely unprofessional!

Avas Flowers Wrong order flowers molded

This is the worst florist ever my sister purchased flowers from them they lied the company was 4 hours away the roses had mold on them and half were dead to top it off the bouquet wasn't even the one she purchased after reading the reviews it seems this floral company has no idea what their doing and should be refunding back money to the customers

Avas Flowers Flower delivery

My husband ordered roses with a vase and a balloon for our 20th wedding anniversary, they were supposed to be delivered on June 24, 2020 which was our anniversary they did not show up until June 25th 2020 after being on a UPS truck all day, i opened the box and they were DEAD! I contacted my husband and sent him pictures of the dead flowers. He then tried to contact this company it took him two days to get thru to someone they told him they would pick up the dead flowers and bring new/fresh flowers the next day. Never happened. He then called to complain and wanted his money back they told him he could only get I beleive 25 or 30 dollars back nothing else.
This company is horrible and my husband was really upset about this

Avas Flowers Not the flowers I ordered

I ordered a vase with white roses and lavender with a little greenery. What was delivered had no white roses and no lavender. also the pedals on the flowers were already falling off. the packet that you put in the water was also missing. I paid a lot of money and what got delivered was nothing like what I ordered. I am very disappointed. you can contact me at [protected] if you want. Avas Flowers Customer service

3 times I went over my order with 3 different representatives. Ordering from avas took a total of 6 hours with return calls and corrections even though I also did it online exactly how it was supposed to be. My payment was deducted immediately but the service is horrendous. I received 2 emails that both my orders were delivered. But not on the day I specified. I called the funeral home to verify this. I've also had to call the funeral home 3 times because they only have 1 delivery. I needed them to put the correct cards with the correct arrangements but the second arrangement is not there... I was told by avas representatives they send generic emails that they made my delivery. They did not. A partial delivery was made with the wrong card and today is the funeral and so far my second delivery with the card for the first order has not been received with the correct card for this order. I am over a thousand miles away and cannot attend this funeral for my grandchildrens mother. It was a simple order. One basket arrangement with a card and one vase arrangement with a card. After the order is placed your phone number is in their system so its automated and takes a good 30 minutes to get a human. I am embarrassed and humiliated because of this mix up. Not only because the second arrangement I ordered to assist another family member was my order with a card from them. There was a big price difference so they feel swindled. Each time the connection is like being in an echo chamber with bombs going off and you can't hear or understand anything. Next time I swear to god almighty I will call a local florist and pay the extra 20 bucks for peace of mind and competency. Avas is truly freaking pathetic. I get to call the funeral home again in hopes my second arrangement arrived and that they can put the correct cards with the correct arrangements. Im am beyond saddened by this incompetent company.

Avas Flowers Flowers not delivered when ordered and no response from company

Ordered flowers on 6/19/2020 for delivery that day-order #7027993. Received email that order was scheduled for delivery on 6/22/2020. Called at 2 pm to check on order and was told that order would be delivered by 7pm tonight! When asked for more specific delivery time, I was placed on hold. It is not 2:42 as I type this-I have been on hold for 42 minutes.

I ordered Flowers and chocolates for my daughter in law for her birthday, the flowers arrived 3 days late, she did not get everything that I ordered and was still charged for everything on my order. I will never order from this knock off company ever again! I thought the company was based out of my home state and later found out that they are based out of New Jersey! I spent over two hours on the phone and complained about their services as I dealt with them. They said they were going to upgrade my order for the mix-up but in the end they ended up delivering the smallest bouquet! They lie about everything and should be held accountable for false advertising! This company should be shut down! I called them at least six times before they got the order out! Very frustrating!

Avas Flowers unethical behavior

I purchased and paid for the European Dish Garden at $96.00+

They delivered a potted mum that I could have purchased at Publix for $9.99
They never informed me of any changes. I was on hold for over 60 minutes + and the lady kept telling me this is what I ordered, then said I ordered Tulips, then said they notified me of the changes.

I read her 'verbatim' my order from the printed order form I placed on line to which her reply was "oh, ok, hang on."
I hung on for another 45 minutes to then being disconnected. I have written to a Brian Cellier several times and also called his direct phone number listed [protected]. I have received no written reply and you cannot leave a message for Brian as his mail box is full...

I expect a full refund and apology. This garden dish was for my boss that had lost (2) family members in (1) day to this horrible covid virus, and they deliver her a Potted Mum and a box of chocolates! I AM MORTIFIED!

Avas Flowers Service

Ordered flowers to be delivered on June 15th, 2020 for a 50th wedding anniversary. Received a call on the day flowers were to be delivered saying a "problem" couldn't deliver to this residents, no explanation as to what the problem was, but that "Farm Fresh, " something about, them? would deliver a nice arrangement, but couldn't deliver on the day that was requested but would deliver on the 16th, which was a big disappointment, as wanted it to be a surprise for the special day. But when I was finally able to talk with someone there, Anna, she says that she would call the recipients to apologize about the delay, and that they would send "24 red roses, " I didn't order red roses, order was a mixed flower bouquet or something similar. When I went back to cancel the order with them, because I did not want red roses, she put me on hold, when she came back on the line, she then described a bouquet that they would send, with description on flowers that would be in the arrangement. So where did red roses come into this order? was it because I was going to cancel the order? I just found out the delivery was not made today either, but my credit card has been billed! Flowers order for friends birthday. They did not deliver and scheduled it for the next day. I called and after numerous attempts was finally able to reach customer service. It took me almost an hour on the phone, I finally got frustrated and canceled the order. DO NOT USE AVAS FLOWERS. Funny, they even told me they would call the recipient to apologize and explain the delay. Seriously? This was a SURPRISE birthday arrangement. What a horrible company! Plus they state they are a family owned business. Try to find the family that owns this company.

Avas Flowers Failed to deliver flowers as requested and then lied about delivery

Ordered flowers for a funeral 6/4. Checked online on 6/5 for the status [no phone number provided] Order reflected a day one year out. Attempted to cancel online. TWICE. not allowed. Received a call on 6/6 from Avas asking if they could still attempt delivery on 6/6. I agreed to go forward if they could deliver on 6/6. On 6/9 received confirmation from Avas that they delivered on 6/6. I called the funeral home to confirm, and they indicated that they only received it at 4:00 on 6/8.
Ava's first of all LIED about the status and their ability to fulfill the order.
Second, they make it extremely difficult to follow up on the status of an order by not publishing a phone number. I had to finally call the phone number that Ava's billed to me on the credit card.
When I called, the agent insisted that she confirm the order with the local delivery service instead of the funeral home despite my urging to use the phone number of the funeral home.
She put me on hold for - I am not kidding - ONE HOUR and NINE MINUTES and then disconnected me.
AVA's flowers is under the impression that because they are an online service They eventually admitted that they missed it and one week later refunded me but it was not a good experience.

Avas Flowers "local" flower delivery

On their website they advertised as a local florist in chico, ca. I ordered from their website on 6/5/20 for a next day saturday delivery in chico and paid $9.99 for delivery by 2pm in addition to their regular delivery fee of $9.99. No where did it say a saturday delivery wasn't available or that any other fees would be charged. Saturday comes & goes with no flowers. I called their 800# saturday afternoon, was on hold for 30 minutes then was told i'd get a call back by 6pm. No call came. On monday I learned they aren't even in chico (they are in new jersey!) and they just forward the delivery request to an actual local florist and charge to do that. The flowers were delivered two days later which is also when I finally received my receipt, where I found that I was charged an extra $18 "service fee". After everything, for a $69 bouquet it cost a total of $121. I finally reached someone at ava's flowers and she said I didn't pay for expedited delivery! She actually argued with me even though I was looking at the charges on my receipt! Long story short - she said she would credit back to me $20 and that it would take 7-9 business days to see the credit. False advertising, horrible customer service...

Avas Flowers Unauthorized credit card charge

Company stated first credit card given was denied. Gave another card it was accepted. After checking both cards the charge for the flowers was charged to both cards. Tryed to get refund. Called several times. Can not get customer service. No direct communication. Order # 7131551. Order # 7131552. Placed 5/21/2020. Charges were $126.81 on both cards.

Avas Flowers Disgusting rip-off! Ordered 1 large & 2 small they sent 3 small. Flowers were almost dead!

One large arrangement and 2 small costing $171. They sent 3 small. Almost dead. Looks nothing like flowers I paid for.! Biggest scam. So disappointed! My friend and 2 daughters were devastated at the loss of her father /grandfather last week. These flowers were horrendous! I want full refund! This company has 3790 complaints! Wish I researched prior!

Avas Flowers Flowers never received

Do not order they are a scam. Flowers were never delivered! They refuse to answer their customer complaints line. 2 days no response to phone calls, voicemails, emails, Instagram. Only thing they will answer is new orders and those girls said they are not allowed to help . It's a call center based in Mexico even though online it claimed to be a local florist. They are scammers and can not believe they haven't been [censored] now yet

order 7008424 ordered on 4/30/2020 for same day delivery - called on 5/1/2020 was told UPS out to deliver that day. 5/2/2020 and 5/3/2020 no flowers - called again 5/4/2020 told they would be delivered today. UPS delivered DEAD ROSES. Terrible service - no emails or calls regarding delayed delivery. terrible customer service on hold for 33 minutes and given a lame discount offer on next purchase. Will NEVER use AVAS FLOWERS again

Avas Flowers Charged more on card than website said. Tried to cancel order five minutes after placing it.

They charged me more on my card than website said when I placed the order. Tried to cancel order five minutes after placing it. They charged me $30 more than what was listed when I placed the order through my debit card. Called to cancel order five minutes after ordering and was charged another $20 to do so. Because of this is not a flower company it is a flower service out of new jersey with a call center that sends the orders out to local companies and give the local companies only half of what you pay to them. No accountability, no customer service. Had to call back twice to get a partial refund. Do not order from them. Devious practices. Not up front. Scam service. Hit and miss.

Avas Flowers Flower arrangement

On april 7, 2020, I ordered an arrangement for delivery to my mom who celebrated her 75th bday. What she got was a few tulips in a vase with water and not even greenery to support the few stems. Horrific! Who would send something like this out their doors?! They apparently don't care about their reputation, and wish I had checked reviews online first. Please check the better business bureau - they have an f rating on file, and read the pattern of complaint and alert on them... It says it all. Shameful!

Avas Flowers flower order & delivery

I ordered four plants to be delivered on 4/10. Company contacted me today saying they would not be able to deliver my order due to Covid-19. They offered an upgrade which I don't want. I called them, explained what I wanted and was told they would upgrade me to a product I have no use for. I told them I wanted a full refund which they told me they would not provide. They are accepting orders for product they can't deliver and refusing to issue a full refund, thereby making a profit on their failure to service an order. Additionally, since they are blaming it on coved-19, they are profiting on death.

Avas Flowers floral order

Placed website order for 'Pastel Grace and Wonder" bouquet, received a few roses, carnations, and predominately empty stems/weeds, see pics below. Called Avas Customer Service. After several minutes of listening to their spiel, I spoke with a Customer Service Rep who immediately put me on hold, and then we were disconnected. Never again will I order from this company again - it's a fraud!

Avas Flowers flower delivery

Beware! This business is a scam. It is located in New Jersey. It tries to give the impression it is a local family owned business. It is manned by a call center staffed with people who can hardly speak English. They make delivery promises that are not fulfilled. Their product is wilted and not what is ordered. The internet is full of people who have been scammed and have registered complaints about Ava's Flowers.

Avas Flowers get well balloons ordered 2/12/2020

The balloons were for my son who had surgery and was told that the balloons would be delivered that day before 4:00 pm. Then I received an email stating that there was inclement weather, which was not true. I called and was basically told that the original florist in the Beaver Dams NY area did not have the balloons and Avas customer support representative informed me that he was calling another florist in that area. I was put on hold while he supposedly made the call, and he told me that the balloons would be delivered on 2/13/2020 before 2:00 pm . They were not delivered. I called Avas Flowers again today 2/14/2020 and cannot get through to speak to a customer support person. My order # is 6781943. The automated message was "We do not have any updated information on this order number. I am very upset with Avas and won't be ordering from them ever again. I want the order cancelled and the charges removed from my credit card.
