AutoNation - Autonation Pembroke Pines FL

My name is Bobby Mccrae invoice #932297, I was previously at Auto Nation for an oil change and a recall defect. I saw at the time Michael Berzon. Michael had asked me after service was done on my truck if I could make sure I gave 10 stars for this first visit. I gave 10 stars on my second visit October 9, 2023, I went to Auto Nation for a tire rotation at 9:20 am to 12:30 pm at the initial time Daniel Muggeo walked inside Michael 's office and asked him if he could hurry up and get this individual car repaired. During my 3 hours of waiting for my truck I observed 5 individuals for Hispanic women and 1 American guy enter Daniel Muggeo office, none of these individuals checked in for appointment, none of these Indvidual's checked in with a service adviser. 3 of these individuals' vehicle was service, and they left before I did simply because Daniel Muggeo gave them favoritism treatment. When I asked Daniel about favoritism for Hispanic and White individuals his immediate response was that he was not a Racists or Prejudice person. This Auto Nation does not have 1 black person as a service adviser. Michael Berzon attitude when I asked about my truck became Hostile.

Desired outcome: I would like someone besides David Labella to call me at [protected], I would also like to know why this Auto Nation can't hire African American as Service Adviser.

AutoNation - Service Issues

I recently bought a used 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie from Autonation of Pembroke Pines. The salesman Vyron seemed to be nice and helpful when he was trying to sell me a car. Comments about him being a Christian and going to church helped portray him as trustworthy. The Ram I was interested in had a dead battery when I went to look at it, so Vyron jumped it for the test drive. When I decided to buy the truck it was under the condition that the battery be replaced with a new one. Vyron assured me this would be done while we took care of the paperwork. I have encountered two issues with Autonation that they have been completely disinterested in helping me with. So much for the trustworthiness I was expecting.

1. When they “replaced” the battery, they made a service entry in the Carfax report and completely transposed the odometer reading adding 20,000 miles to the actual reading. I texted, called, and emailed Vyron (who was out sick) and the main Autonation office for over 2 weeks trying to get them to simply correct their error on the Carfax report. They blew me off and then eventually said they’d correct it. Instead, they added another entry…failing to even input the odometer reading on the new entry or correcting it on the last entry. Complete incompetence. So, I contacted Carfax and corrected the error myself.

2. I bought the truck on 1/6/22 and was assured a new battery was put in before I drove it off the lot. Fast forward to 3/3/22, my truck’s battery is dead in my driveway. The truck was regularly used and there was nothing left on that would have drained it. This was confirmed by AAA when they came to jump it. Before AAA arrived, I texted and emailed Vyron and the other person I dealt with at Autonation Salvatore. I was very confused as to why the battery was dead. Bad alternator? Electric issue that was draining the battery? Unclear. I was well within the 90 day warranty so I asked what the next steps were to have the truck inspected and the issue fixed. It is now 3/7/22 and I have had ZERO response from Vyron or Salvatore. This just shows that Autonation, like so many others, is only responsive and helpful when they’re trying to sell you a car and get your money. To say I’m disappointed would be a gross understatement. Anyway, when AAA arrived, they tested the alternator and it was fine. They also tested the battery and quickly determined that there was a bad cell in the battery. Quite curious considering it was supposed to be brand new. So, with no response from Autonation, I’m left to wonder if Vyron ever even replaced the battery to begin with OR if there is some electric issue that drained and burned out the battery cell in less than 2 months. I will continue to contact Autonation for resolution, but thought a review was warranted to warn anyone else about doing business with these folks. It would seem they are incompetent and unresponsive at best, unethical and deceitful at worst.

Desired outcome: 1. Informing other potential customers2. Receiving service within the 90 day warranty period

AutoNation - Service department in pembroke pines autonation

I took my Buick Enclave to this dealer for one simple issue. Then I get told that my car has some other issue pay get it fix. Then not even 2 days later my car starts acting up I take it back oh we left a motor mount lose. No then 3 days later am back something else this has been a train of ongoing issues with a car that has never had anything wrong with. Then what I take it back for they never seem to find but instead find other issues that I have to pay for. I've been complaining of a gas smell since they did some work in my car, they never seem to find it so now I took pictures and will take back. I am driving this car with my two small kids God forbid something happens this will be Autonation fault. I am tried of taking my car here but the warranty stated that if they touched it and damaged it I must take back. The advisor has been great and patience but the mechanics have no clue how to work in a car. I will be taking this father up to who ever I have to. But my car has to be brought back to how it was with no issues like the first time I took, which was for a minor thing that they haven't fixed
