Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor overcharge and delivery

I ordered a pair of ugg boots 07/01/09 the confirmation of my order states that the uk sterling price is £77.95 (with shipping). uggboots shop took the money twice but the charge in sterling was £86.87. they have refunded me only £76.78 which is incorrect, I have tried to explain this to them but they have refused to make up the difference and are not listening to me when I tell them that the uk price is wrong onthe internet..in addition I have not received the boots yet, it is now 36 calendar days & 26 working days and the boots if I ever receive them have cost me £96.96 when I was quoted £77.95 this is misleading the public.

To add insult to injury UGG boots shipping is a sham, I was charged £13.30 to pick up my boots from the post office, I had already paid Ugg 13.50 shipping costs, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY the total cost of the boots was £110.26, I was quoted on my receipt email that they would cost £76.78. what a scam...

You can get these boots at any department store-same boot no hassel! This web site is a fraud and people should be aware of it. These boots come from China doesnt that tell you something? You couldnt return them if you wanted to. My daughter found hers at Glicks. Take this off the web site and stop scamming people!

im so upset too! i orderd from Ugg boots store.com i thought was in Austraila. they took my money right off but it has been 4 weeks now and no boots, no contact, no tracking number... i bought them on nov 29 so i would have them for my 15 year old daughter for christmas ( which is in 4 days). Im a single mom, worked 45 hours of overtime to be able to buy them the first time, , , no way i can buy another pair. I wish they would just refund my money over nite, i could rush to the mall, buy her another pair... NOW THAT WOULD BE A TRUE CHRISTMAS MIRICAL!

I have bought uggs from a company called www.ecugg.com I bought a pair of Classic Tall uggs. I eventually got a tracking number and supposedly a parcel number.

Well I have been on both parcel sites and havent received the product I ordered 2 weeks ago. The money has been taken.

I wrote last week got told that I would have to repay the money as it had gone to the wrong account - I refused as i told them that the paypal account that was on their website was their mistake not mine! Secondly, they eventually found the number and said they would ship them last week - I am still awaiting!

I would say I am bit wary as this is a Chinese website I looked at the bottom at the website and found that it was as they ship through EMS which is a chinese postal service !

Sure I have been "FLEECED" literally

Yep me too, I ordered my boots on the 8th Feb 09 and paid £124.49 as I also purchased their ugg care product. It should only have been £111.61, I still have not had my boots or even received a notice from the post office. I have emailed them but have never had a reply and am really frustrated that a company is allowed to do this.
This is theft and their website should be closed down.
I too am going to report them to econsumer.gov and urge others to do the same, Shane is right if enough people complain we may have a solid case against them and you never know we may get our money back.

I am still waiting for my boots, ordered on 7th February 2009, now the 15th April. I have had many emails back and forward to this company who now say I have to wait until the boots arrive back at their depo before they will take any action. I do not believe these boots have ever been sent! If they have what happens if they do not receive them back? This surely is quite likely if they have indeed sent them out to me and I have not received them! I paid $175 au for absolutely nothing! I have now logged a complaint with econsumer.gov and I urge anyone who has had problems with this company to do the same. Maybe together we can at least shut this site down! And you never know we may even get our money back!

I ordered my boots on the 30th January 09 and after two months still had no boots. After the 3rd week I tried to get a refund as I never received a dispatch notice and realised they hadnt been sent, asked them for a copy of the dispatch notice they apparently sent but they wouldn't. They ignored my request for a refund over and over again, then the boots arrive in poor condition, looking like the most fakest pair of Uggs on the planet, UGG SIGN peeling away from the heel that had been glued not stitched there and they refuse to refund me! Ive had a really bad experience with them surely this can not be legal?

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor did not receive boots after requesting exchange

Ordered a pair of boots for my wife's birthday. Order was delivered and received in a timely manner. Boots didn't fit right so my wife wanted me to exchange. Requested exchange info from customer support and mailed to Canada as requested for $24. Boots received in Canada on 12/17/2008. Still have not received the boots requested in the exchange. If company is not going to accept exchanges should be stated up front. Requested a status update numerous times with no response. Will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well as a number of National Consumer Advocates if not received in one more week. Uggboutique will receive national negative publicity and potentially a law suit based on fraud.

I think Fake UGGS and companies who sell them have taken over for the fake Louis Vuittons, Coach, and Dooneys. The first were the FAKE-EX's (Rolex)...but at least you only paid $25 for the watch. All I can say is that it is worth it to go buy UGGS from real dealers. Sad, but true.

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor apology

Hello all!
I know many people have been scammed by ugg boutique. And it is very unfortunate.

However, I would like to recall the contact information that I had originally posted...
Bryon gibson and alba trading are not at fault... So please do not contact him/them.

I apologize for accusing the owner of the domain, not the owner of the website.

Hopefully, justice will be served for the owners of this company but just to re-iterate bryon gibson and alba trading are not responsible. Alba trading is a legit, distinguished company; therefore I apologize.

I also purchased a pair of UGG boots from this website with the impression that they were authentic. When they arrived, the boots were too small so I contacted the company through email, which was the only means of communication. No phone number or address for the company was listed on their website.
I paid $99 for the boots and $12 shipping. When I received a return email (after several unsuccessful attempts) I was given an address in China to return the boots to. The shipping costs to send via FedEx was $103!
This company is a total fraud! Do not be ripped off!

I bought a pair of UGG boots for my daughter in October 2017 from the Westmount Quebec store. The boots were the right size but after one winter the sheepskin had worn away from the heels. My daughter only informed me of this in December 2017. The store could do nothing as the one year warranty had expired. These boots cost almost $500. For this price the UGG company should be able to do better both in terms of quality and customer service.

In the same boat as everyone who has purchased from ugg.gg. They have vanished into thin air, probably from all the complaints about their fake boots. Paypal will not help me either, which I find shocking because you go through paypal so they can protect you at time like this. I would have paid by my credit card as you can get help from credit card companies with problems like fraudulent websites. I have complained to trading standards I suggest alot of people do the same then hopefully we can all get some compensation. Does anyone know how to get a refund back against this company and paypal.

I orderd a pair of ugg on ugg australia out let, and I've tryed to see when they would be mailed out to me so I went back to the site and put my e-mail address in and they're telling me no acccount is present. So then I've tryed to e-mail the company and no e-mail. I've checked my bank statement and ugg australia outlet is already taken my payment out. so what am I suppose to do now?

As I was browsing I found this web side ( www.bootsfans.co.uk ) which was offering UGG boots at a very competitive price..And everything looked genuine to me so I decided to order a pair which I found out later after receiving a letter from UKBA acknowledging that my purchased is counterfeit...

Sells counterfeit Ugg boots from China. Similar to other complaints I've seen on this site, I paid via PayPal and received the obviously fake boots (color was off, smell was off, fur was fake).

I have sent 3 emails, and i am still not sure if i will receive my order. I extremely recoment you never buy any simple or cheap item from this site. China? Never more! God bless america!

The same! I am so upset and even more as I got the box. The boots cost 130, it was 50 $ for the international shipping. but as but to got it I had to pay UPS for shipping more than 100$. And in invoice the UGG put freight 108$! so the boots cost me 3 times more! I sent them 3 mails but no respond! I do not recommend anyone to buy from UGG!

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor scam

So in November I ordered these boots for my daughter. Product arrived. My other daughter had recently bought UGGs from Nordstrom so there was no doubt that the boots rec'd were not the brand name Uggs that this web site clearly intends you to believe they are (though if you dig way down in there website (by which time most people would realize they weren't legit)) there is a disclaimer that they aren't made by Deckers that some purists may realize is a tip off. Regardless the Ugg Boutiques boots are no where near the quality of UGGs. And they reeked of something awful. I finally got some instructions to return the boots to a Canadiam PO Box. Then no response. After many attempts, EternoMedia sent an email saying boots were rec'd and full refund will be issued.

Well that was over 30 days ago and nothing has happened. No response to 6 or 8 emails sent. I've noticed that "eternomedia.com" is no longer a valid web address. Have to say scam. Probably up and running heavy during holiday season. It is not just the money. We need some tough international internet sale laws to keep underhanded businesses like this out of the market.
Ripped Off

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor fake uggs

I ordered the classic tall us for ugg shop usa- not until my order was complete and my paypal indicated that the merchant name would reflect Rise Beauty LTD did I get suspicious. After 3 weeks I called- the so called service center number which is a generic recording and not a business. I then sent an e mail to [protected]@gmail.com I reeived a response with a ups tracking number, I immediately felt relief- however this was only temporary-The package came to today from Shanghi China- The boots are fake but have all the registered trademarks in the right places...the two giveaways were the glue and the extremely stiff sole. Also, there was no UGG box lid or booklet, however the UGG care card was included and an additional natural foot liner? Bottom line for me is trying to stop the payment and return the merchandise. When it comes to buying uggs on line you really need to know your retailer to ensure that you are getting the genuine ugg product. After years of internet shopping, this is my first real lesson in fraud. Oh and by the way, the website is no longer available...lessons learned!

I bought UGG boots from bootsnice.us (the company name said "UGG Store") and now I'm searching the internet trying to find an address to return them. Their website does not list an address or customer service number, only a "message" site. I don't know if they were fake (probably were) but they came in a crumpled up box via EMS. I sent several messages but my questions and request for address/customer service number were never answered. They replied a few times but they didn't answer my questions. They would say "OK" or "don't worry about it". When I received them they were the wrong size. After I sent an email (several times) requesting an address to return them they stopped replying altogether. The shipping label is written in Chinese. I'm in the process of getting the address translated. My bank can't try to reverse the charge until the boots are returned, can't return the boots without an address. BUYER BEWARE. Lesson learned. Pay a little more money locally and avoid the fraud and hassle.

This place has been a scam for the last 3 years and nothing has been done about it. Beware about shipping back the address is untrackable and very costly to send back and you will not receive a refund or a returned item. Citi bank spent a year trying to get my money back with no success. Uggs are never discounted and you should only buy from a Uggs approved site this was a $ 350.00 dollar lesson for us. Goodluck

I also ordered from this site and my boots came exactly as described above. They are definitely FAKE! I e-mailed and they did send me an address to return the boots, however it is kind of expensive to return them. They said they would refund the money upon return. The address is:

I hope this helps!

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor poor quality

I purchased a pair of so-called Ugg boots from this company.
They arrived in a plastic bag.
My daughter has now had them for a total of 9 days, and they are already coming apart.
I emailed the company to demand a refund- so far, no response.
What a joke- this company is bogus and these were NOT true Ugg boots.
They were made in China and again, extremely poor quality.
Buyer Beware!

Just because they're from China doesn't mean they are poor quality. Real UGGs are made in China, but the materials are Australian. Also, I would never spend that kind of money on these shoes without either buying them from the true website www.uggaustralia.com or from one of their approved retailers. That being said, UGGs suck anymore anyway. They're cheap and flimsy and the leather rips really easy.

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor never received order

I ordered a pair of chocolate brown UGGS for my daughter on Nov 16th for a Holiday present. I got a confirmation immediatley after ordering & it was followed up by a order number. I kept waiting every day for the boots to arrive. They did say that the shipping time would be about 14 work days, but this is horrible. My daughter is so dissapointed. I checked with my credit card company and nothing was charged. I tried to email them today at [protected]@uggshop-usa.com but the email failed. What is going on with this company? Before I order anything on line, I will do my research.

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor non dfelivery

Hi
I ordered ugg boots for my granddaughter as a christmas gift on the 2nd November 2008.The money was taken from my account on the 4th November 2008. I contacted them via e-mail early December & they told me that i was to be patient as they had shipped them on the 11th Nov & they were most likely held up in customs. I notified my local Post Office but they couldn't confirm this. So i waited patiently until late December when i discovered the web site was no longer available & my e-mails bounced back. I have since seen a lot of complaints about this site.
I bought another pair of boots as i didn't want to let my granddaughter down but fear i have lost $79 in the process.
I rarely shop on line & don't think that i will do it again.

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor fake uggs

Well I am one of the many who has been scam by this company. I purchased a pair of chestnut size 8 boots. I paid for them through paypal (no support or protection). When I did not receive a email comfirmation. I contact paypal and Ugg Boutique and ask them to cancel the order. A day later I received an over night package from China. The outside box stated black size 7 boots. Inside the box was a pair of boots chestnut color marked size 8. However I could tell by looking at them they were not a size 8. I own a pair of size 8 UGG Boots. I compared the two pairs and theses boots are much smaller. I contacted the company and was told I could return them for a full refund to Candia. I could not Fed Ex them or overnight them they would not be accepted. To return them I would need to spend $24 in order to trace the package. At this point I did my research and found many complaints about this company. So my choice is two spend $11 for the orginal shipping and additional $24 totaling $36 for shipping alone and very slim chance of seeing any response. I have informed Paypay of the complaints from this site, the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. I was informed I was entitle to a refund because the boots were not as described? BEWARE

Please DO NOT ORDER from this company. When I made the order it claimed 7-10 days and I would get them. After 3 weeks, I tried to call...message box ALWAYS full. Beware that there is no address for this company on their website, so until they respond, you have no idea what to do. I emailed and emailed. Finally after a month I got the boots in the mail. And guess what? The UGG on the back of the boots were upside down! I called my credit card company right away to make sure they do not receive payment. In order to return boots, you must email customer service for instuctions. I wonder how long this will take. This company is a bunch of crappy junky boots and do not believe anything good you read about them. If someone says anything good about them, they must work for the company. I BEG ANYONE WHO IS THINKING OF ORDERING FROM THERE...PLEASE PLEASE DONT...YOU WILL BE SORRY!

I ordered boots from UGG boutique. They got payment IMMEDIATELY from my Paypal. After 10 days I hadn't even gotten a delivery noticed so I tried to cancel. I got a threatening email accusing me of credit card and mail fraud. Then I did some research and learned of ALL of the problems people have had with this company and that the boots are knock offs. About a week later I got the boots delivered from China. They were shipped AFTER I filed a dispute with Paypal. I did not want fake UGGS, so like an idiot I followed their return policy. That was 6 weeks ago. Now Ithey will not even respond to my emails. Please do not shop this company. They shouldn't be allowed to cheat any more people. Shop American!

I ordered some boots a month ago and still have not received them. I have emailed 5 times with no response. Now I see that even if I do receive them they will be fake. I wish I saw these complaints BEFORE I placed my order.
PLEASE dont buy from them. I will try and report them to the Better Business Bureau.

My husband tried to surprise me by ordering me a pair of Uggs from Uggboutique.com and when he received the merchandise they clearly smelled of lead paint and fake fur and had come with an invoice from China! Everyone knows authentic Uggs are from Australia, so that initially set him off that they were fake. He looked up authentic Uggs on the website and compared them to the ones they received and they were clearly fake. They did not have any of the authentic markings that Uggs have and the smell was just horrendous. He followed the return process to the T, including paying an additional $21 charge to ship them back to CANADA no less! My husband ordered the Uggs on Nov 17, and upon receipt we immediately sent them back as specified on 12/3 and we have still yet to receive the $120+ we are owed for this! PayPal has been of absolutely no help whatsoever. They informed us to go through the merchant, who is now withholding our refund after we returned the merchandise. We are now filing a dispute with our bank so they can hopefully help us resolve this, but I would like to let people know everywhere NEVER TO BUY FROM UGGBOUTIQUE.COM. IT IS A FAKE SITE THAT STEALS YOUR MONEY AND THEN IGNORES ALL OF YOUR CORRESPONDENCE. I HOPE THEY GO BANKRUPT AND AND GO TO HELL FOR DOING THIS TO INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO WERE JUST LOOKING FOR A GOOD DEAL AT XMAS TIME.

Never, ever, ever order from Ugg Boutique. I placed and order, heard nothing for days, no answer on the customer service number (which is obviously just someone's voice mail) so finally I emailed. They told me my order had shipped and would arrive in 4 days. Four days later it would be 2 days (after I emailed again). Two days later it would be 7 days... you get the picture. I told them 3 times to just cancel the order. Finally, I disputed the charge with my card issuer. Eventually, I got a shipment from Shanghai, China! I have no idea if they are real Uggs since I didn't open the box but I'm guessing the chances are slim!

This company is a scam. Stay away.

I wish I saw this complaint board before I made my purchase! I bought a pair of boots from uggboutique.com for my daughter for christmas. I received the boots after christmas which was not a huge problem. I was quite surprised to see that they came from china though. The boots did not fit so I emailed to return them for a larger size. After a couple email attempts I did finally get an answer and instructions to return the boots to an address in Canada, which I did. I have sent 3 more unanswered emails to them to find out the status of the replacement boots and have gotten no anwers. The phone number has no answer and now the website is down. I am not holding out hope for a replacement pair of boots. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE IF THEY EVER COME BACK ONLINE!

Just an update from my previous post, I would recommend you go directly to your credit card company and file a dispute. After I posted my complaint this morning I went on my credit card company's website, logged into my account and now only about 2 hours later I already received an email from them that they are credited the payment I made to Ugg Shop USA to my credit card. The best of luck to you all, I hope you get your money back!

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor no merchandise

About a month ago I ordered two pairs of uggs for my daughters. After a week they still didn't come, so we just thought that it would take a couple more days. After about a month, they STILL hadn't arrived. The website seemed very legit and a non-scam website but I was wrong. It was a fraud! A couple days ago, I finally got my money back [$200] from the bank. It's better to buy the orginal priced ones so you know that you're getting the right ones. The Ugg Australia website is most likely the only authentic website. Buyers Beware! Know the authenticity of the website you're buying from!

Uggshop-USA is a scam! I ordered boots for my daughter November 6. I received an email that the order was processed on November 8 and never heard from them since. I sent several emails requesting tracking info and contact info and never got a response. I tried to email my order cancellation and the website was no longer available. They were quick to charge my credit card for the merchandise they never shipped. BUYER BEWARE! Order from cozy footwear.com much better. You will receive your merchandise in 1 week.

Ordered a pair of uggs from uggshop usa, they came like a week late was charged way earlier than that, when they finally came they were crumbled up in a shipping bag without any paperwork. they dont look like the real thing the ugg label on the bag is crooked, I think they are fakes. anyway they said they were out of au, but when I finally got a response from them via email they said to send they to china (if I wanted to return them). I called the actual ugg australia co. and they said that any site that uses the name ugg in it is not an authorized dealer. so there is my life lesson. might as well spend the money to make sure your getting the real thing

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor no merchandise/website gone

I recently placed an order for UGG boots with this website. I have not heard from or received anything from them. When I went to go check on the status of my order, the website is no longer to be found. No response to my email inquiry which is the only way to contact them. I had since called my credit card company to cancel my card. They had not thank goodness yet charged my account. I was distressed to read a similar situation as well.

I got my partner to order me some of the bailey Button short style boots online Dec 8th 2010 for my birthday gift and we like all of you thought that the price was very good at £68 no delivery charge, we thought something was wrong when we didn't recieve a confirmation email. Thinking that as its the states may take a few days to process it would come through, but it hasn't and the money came out his account with the name xia men ruitu indu as the charge name! no company name nothing! I ordered 2 pair of ugg boots for my daughters for Xmas from Ugg Shop with a internet address of www.uggclassboots.com That was on 11/10/2009. I was billed on 11/12/2009.

I thought it was odd that they billed me through paypal which did come through to my bankcard as entered. The confirming email I received said paypal but I saw the debit come through on my bank card and figured everything was alright.

A few weeks later, I received both pair of boots. Since I've never owned a pair of uggs, I didn't notice anything odd except there was no order form included in the shipment. The boots came through the post office and I had to sign for it. My postman said it came all the way from Japan.

I wrapped them immediately for Xmas. Today they were opened and the kids didn't like the color they received. I pulled my email confirmation and entered the site I ordered from. It was gone. Then I found the complaints. I was billed $83 each totally $166 U.S. dollars. They are probably fake and the kids will just have to live with the colors.

I'm so sorry for those that were scammed out of money. At least I received some boots that will probably fall apart within a month. The kids don't know the difference and I'm not going to tell them because I always preach to them "If it's too good to be true; it is!"

I too was sucked into to the "Free Shipping, All sizes in stock, $109, ships in 14 days etc..." I placed my order with UGG Shop USA on 11-6-08 and was billed 11-10-08. After 3 weeks, I emailed...no response. I later received an email stating their web address had changed. I checked it out - still there. I emailed 3 more times and still no response. Looked for the website today - GONE! The week before Christmas, I took my daughter to the mall and was going to just buy her pair and send the others back when they arrived. The store clerk told me that UGGs were back ordered and that nobody could get them. So, I didn't worry, I figured it was the same for UGG Shop USA. Now I know! They are a SCAM! I contacted my credit card and they are handling the matter.

I have had the same experience. I ordered a pair for my niece for Christmas. I placed the order on the first of December. I have not yet received them. I, too checked and the website is gone. I got an email with an order number but nothing else. At the bottom of that email was an email address saying they could be contacted there. I tried that and got this response.

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

info@uggshop-usa.com

Technical details of permanent failure:

DNS Error: Domain name not found

I may be one of the lucky ones. I called my bank and they verified for me that my card had not yet been charged. And no other fradulent charges have yet appeared. Needless to say, I immediately cancelled my card.

I recently placed an order from the same company, UGG Shop-USA, on 12/1/08. I DID receive a confirmation e-mail. But no product has been delivered. Same thing...I found their website gone. And when I called my credit card company, thank heaven they had placed NO charge on my credit card. But everyone...BEWARE. I DID also have to shut down my credit card within the last couple of days. My credit card firm suspected fraudulent charges, and called me. There were charges on my credit card made in MEXICO. I live in the US, and have never gone to Mexico. Fortunately, the charges were all very small. The credit card company took care of them, and we've since shut down the card. But this is all very interesting!

I have found a whole net work of fraudulent sites geared toward Ugg boots because of their popularity. One thing they all have in common is that they never have a valid address or phone number. One must communicate via email and they may or may not respond. They will charge your card and you may not receive the product. The company is probably in Shanghai or Malaysia. After a period of time the web site disappears and they post under a different name. If you are considering buying these boots, check the "CONTACT US" section of the web page. If the site is fraudulent, they will definitely have all sizes and colors "in stock", but not really, and they will not provide a valid address or phone number.

I ordered a pair of Uggs from this company last month and they arrived as promised -- though there was no paperwork at all. I ordered from this site recently on 3/10/13 and was charged on 3/11/13. When I emailed them to question why I was charged shipping when their site said shipping was free and got not response and could not find a phone number, I went to my bank and filed a dispute for the charges. My bank stated that it would take ten days to investigate but that I would most likely see the money returned to me as they would try to retrieve my money from the company. Just goes to show, it's better to pay full price in stores rather than trying to go cheaper with online sites like this one.

I ordered a pair of Uggs/short, black classics, for my daughter for Christmas back on 11/23/08. My credit card HAS been charged. $99 plus a $2.15 charge for International fee. I am FURIOUS. First, at myself for falling for the oldest scam. Secondly, that people do this to other hard-working people. I notified my banking establishment. They are putting a flag on any charges that come through as "Sanuaria". My guess is... China, and not Australia, as these fraudulent people stated the Uggs come from. I've learned a very valuable lesson here. I will ONLY deal from now on with Zappos, Shoe-buy, and other well-established businesses on the internet.

I should have listened to my inner voice. When something sounds too good to be true...

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor fadulent company

Ordered UGG Boots online, paid via PayPal. Boots never showed up. Started a complaint to recover the money. PayPal gave 10 days to the crook seller which allowed them to take all their funds away from their PayPal account. I warned PayPal about this to no avail. The sleazy company shut down their web site and I received the following from PayPal at the end of 10 days:

"After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
Complaint described below.

We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery
of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed."

I am now convinced that PayPal is great protection for the seller and a terrible deal for the buyer... They allow fradulent sellers to get away with murder. I will never use PayPal for any of my purchases... My credit card would have provided a much better protection...

Here's another BOGUS UGG website using the same PayPal scheme: shoesugg.com UGG Australia has so much of a problem with scams they have a place to check on their website to see if the retailer is legitimate: http://counterfeit.uggaustralia.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-UGG-COUNTERFEIT-Site/default/Counterfeit-Show?caid=what-is-counterfeit

I have previously been involved with another online fraud involving PayPal - The buyer looses, even if the time you expend fighting the fraud is not important. People who make these scams are fully aware of laws, exploit PayPal weaknesses and as you have seen develop very sophisticated websites. Like said above, if it is too good to be true - somebody is waiting to prey on you.

Instead of being cheapskates and trying to get something for 20$ cheaper, why don't you just go to a reputable site like Dillard's or Nordstrom's?

You get what you pay for, DUH. I dont feel bad for ANY of you that got jipped. Uggs are NOT a ripoff. They are genuine sheepskin shearling. Genuine sheepskin shearling is NOT cheap. They are actually a good deal for what they are.

Either buy the knockoffs that you know are fake or pony up the money for real ones. What makes you people think you can get some special deal that no one else can? They cost the same no matter where you go, if they're real.

PayPal doesn't protect the buyer at all. I went through the exact same thing - the site had fake logos & seals of authenticity and claimed to ship out of the US and that if I wasn't satisfied with the boots I could return them for a full refund. When I saw that the money I sent through PayPal went to China I knew it was a scam. Sure enough, the boots are a horrible excuse for footwear. PayPal claims that I didn't have buyer protection so they won't do anything. The Chinese company has since deleted their site and "resolved" the PayPal dispute by saying they only cover shipping concerns and if I don't like the item, they can't help that. I lost $100 and the entire site was a complete scam - it looked totally real but everything on there, from the item's location to the return policy to the pictures of the items was a scam.

Don't use PayPal and don't buy UGGs online.

Ugg.com / Deckers Outdoor ugg boots

I purchased a pair of their Australian ugg boots the cost was more than they advertise before currency conversion and within a manner of three weeks of wearing them the sole is wearing out. They cost 173 australian dollars, postage which was substantial and tax and vat in uk when I got them. I would not have minded if they were up to the job . I have never had a pair of soles were out in this time scale leave alone at this price. BEWARE
