I have also told Atlas Editions three times by email that I no longer require their products.
I have had no response. Another item arrived today.
Do I need to take legal action ?

The Company Atlas Editions have done the exact with me and goodness knows how many unsuspecting customers have had too suffer the same. I am now going on line to cancel all of my subscriptions with no more worries, as I have got a block on these accounts from my Bank. I have also withdrawn all of my funds and returned all the subscriptions with one of their payment envelopes so it wont cost me a penny to return. hope that this as been of help to you. Pete England

Atlas Editions have threatened me with sheriff officers although I owe them no money I paid them in full then they sent me a car which I did not order I sent them it back and I have the receipt from the post office and the postal order numbers which I sent them, they are trying to extort money from people who they think will keep sending them money. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEESE CROOKS. !!! I AM GOING TO LET THINGS RUN AND ENJOY MY DAY IN COURT AT THEIR EXPENCE. THEN CLAIM COMPENSATION.

Same old story with us too.

Told them goods were unsolicited and not required, eventually sent me a Freepost address to return items to, duly sent (Proof of posting held), YET they still sending payment reminders.

Like other look forward to exposing them in Court. Fortunately my Father told me what Crroooks they were so I paid for first two items by Cheque, so thay cant just take money, why has any Regulator or Court not pulled them in for their activities.

I ordered the Lancaster bomber for £1.99 ONLY. I sent them an email within 10mins of ordering saying I want to cancel. They said I couldnt cancel that order. I kept emailing them saying I dont want it. That same night I signed into atlas and cancelled my email address to them and I guess closed me account as now if I go to forgotten password it comes with email doesnt exist. Item came today, Ive emailed saying I dont want any more products and I dont want this one. I havent paid yet as its a postal order. Im just waiting for an email. Can anyone give me any advice?

Small amount paid in 'legitimate' accordance within written rules on documentation. Atlas still sending items not sent for. Do not sign for these items, post office will forward back to seller at no cost to you. Tick cheque box, so d debit amounts not taken from bank. Emailed them many times without reply.

Had an Eddie Stobart Lorry sent to my Daughter for my Nephew, I sent e mail as it was out of stock, they replied that it would be sent when they have more, 6 weeks later it arrives, not knowing there was a problem with Atlas I paid using a Debt Card, two weeks later another arrives with a bill for the full price £14-99, I e mailed them and as up to now (two weeks) have had no reply) I emediately stopped all payments to Atlas via my bank, whilst sorting this the Lancaster Bomber arrives at my Mother in Law's (I had sent it to her as her Father was a Pilot on the Lancaster during the war) now I am concerned an elderly lady will be hounded by Atlas, Cant these people be stopped??

Yes, I am in the same boat with Atlas Editions. Has anyone know how I can return unwanted items without having to pay for postage.
I ordered a Lancaster Bomber for £1.99 a few months ago after seeing their ad on TV . I really do regret this now and am only glad I haven't given them any card or bank details. I cant believe that in this day and age this company is allowed to carry on like this??
Any views or tips greatly appreciated.

On two occasions I have had issues with the accounts department about non payments. I was advised that there was a problem with postal services being delayed. This excuse from such a large company seems ridiculous, I hope that they will review there relationship with the delivery company. G, Johnson

Im in the same boat as everyone on here. Ordered the jaguar mk2 for £1, 99. Then as I didn't tick a certain box they kept on sending me different items. I then noticed they were taking money out of my account (which I did not give permission for.) Phoned them up saying I was not happy about them taking my money and sending me other items I didn't want. The girl (sarah) I thought was very rude and not helpful at all. So all in all I have had to return all 4 boxes and had to pay postage which they refused to pay for returns. I will never use them again, theyre a load of con artists !!

My 80 year old Father ordered a 1.99 car off this company - and a few weeks later got a debt collector letter from them stating that he owes them 18.99 - this made my father very Nervous ! and at his age he though he had done something wrong, I called this company and spoke to a "SARAH" was very rude - and when I asked for her surname she refused to give it to me, and when I ask to speak to her manager she said due to data protection I am not allowed to carry on with the call - I asked for a Postal address which she refused to give me too.

THIS company is a SCAM and WILL not stop at anything to get what they can - and THAT Sarah who answered the phone needs to come down a peg or too ! after all she's just a customer service person who works for a scam company NOT THE MOD!

I will be taking this further just to show everyone how bad this company is

I bought a model from Atlas Editions early in 2015. After some confusion, it was paid for and delivered - all was fine. Unexpectedly another model then arrived in the post - which hadn't been ordered. This was returned to Atlas Editions. I am now being pursued by CCS Collections for money which they claim I owe to Atlas Editions...neither they nor I know what this money is for - and CCS Collections clearly doesn't care. Atlas Editions didn't send me an invoice - they just seem to have instructed CCS! Is Atlas Editions a scam? There are loads of bad reviews online - I wish I had checked before ordering. Atlas Editions appear to have hooked me in with a 'special offer' and are now using strong-arm tactics to frighten me into paying for goods which I didn't order and haven't got! I WON'T GO NEAR ATLAS EDITIONS AGAIN AS I FEAR IT MIGHT BE A SCAM!

I'm having same problems as others on here. Always copy any correspondence and e-mails to West Quay Ltd (it is this company who acts on Atlas Editions behalf and administer all their ads and financial dealings) especially if you use their website atlaseditions.co.uk because if you do not date and copy before you send it you will have no record of it. Do not waste time phoning at 7p/minute and being kept on hold. The managing director is stephen davenport, unit C, empress road, empress park, southampton SO14 0HH

I've sent their customer service team two emails informing them that my father had died and that we wanted to close his account and NOT to send any more vehicles. But despite this they have sent yet another 6, I managed to refuse one on Saturday and told the post man where I'd like to stick it he laughed and said he had much the same from other people on his round. I have tried to ring them several times but keep being greeted up with the same message, 'sorry our customer service team are dealing with a high volume of calls' now to me that sounds like a bit of a cop off. I've given up being polite to them now and will be passing my complaint onto BBC Watchdog and Trading Standards, its an absolute sham and a disgrace. I shall also be posting a crap review of their customer service on my face book page and hopefully prevent anyone else from purchasing their products!!!

I paid 2 Payments to Atlas Editions through their website. 1st payment came back with error. Same with 2nd Payment but my Bank Statement shows proof that both payments left my bank account on 21/12/2015. Emailed and rang Customer Services in Southampton. No replies from email and phone calls were badly handled.
What concerns me my Atlas Editions Account has not been updated with these payments. poke o my Bank who confirm payments were collected by Atlas Editions.
I get told that Payments through the website go to Switzeland and not UK. UK say the have no record of Payment and no instructions from Head Office to update account
So where have my payments vanished to.
I have asked my solicitor to take action also on my behalf.

I have had several differences of opinion with this company's Customer Services over several years. firstly with their model warships. the end to that story is that I got an account statement from their computer showing 18 debits on my credit card but only 17 models being dellivered. On the phone call in response to this I could not get the person in Customer Services to see the problem. I asked for a response from someone higher. That never happened and I never got the refund. Having been stung once I still went on and started buying model trains. That's when I got into a familiar scenario with other complaints in returning models, with Atlas claiming non receipt. That took 3 months to resolve to my satisfaction. My latest (fool me) conflict came in December when I cancelled my subscription to WWII Bombers and was toid that there was a model in transit and Iwas sent a returns lalel. That went well until I received another model. On phoning about that I was told that my account had not been cancelled probably due to some mix up caused by Christmas workload confusion. Having had enough by now I kept the model and made sure that the the account was cancelled. So far it seems to be working. 3 strikes and you're out for his company now, it took me a long time to wise up.

I am Benedict Darmanin my collection was "The Glory of Steam" Pocket Watches I was quite pleased with the service up to the point when I tried to cancel Yes folks, We have all been really annoyed at the service this Co, has afforded us, Not one of us can honestly say " I e-mailed Atlas Editions" They do not have an e-mail address that you can prove you have sent an e-mail, They just have a message board that they probably wipe clean any cancelation requests so that they can claim no contact was received in the event of legal proceedings a very underhand system of doing business

Could you explain why my payments were not taken on the 12th of may and 9th of june as a result of which I have received a letter stating that I owe 37.96 pounds titled 2nd: reminder, when I have not received the 1st: reminder. I have spoken to Val and Chris re: this and have not got a sensible reply. What I cannot understand is that payments have been taken from my account monthly till May and June and some one has forgotten to take these payments and make silly excuses like they did not have my card details etc: I am a pensioner and therefore I have a tight budget to accommodate my payments. With all your advertisements, you still employ inefficiency which should not be tolerated or are you in that high frame of success that you do not care for the obvious. You should sack whoever is responsible for bringing stress to an old man and keep the vestige of honour to your establishment. Atlas edition, by 3 times during my subscription with them ask me for money I did not owe as everything was paid by direct debit.I received debt collectors notice and threats without any warning that money was due. Giving them the benefice of the doubt, I paid the first 2 claims, thinking that may be some payments was missed by the bank as my subscription at that time was ongoing. But 1 year after my subscription was over and not more items were sent, out of the blue last month, I got a letter from a debt collector asking me to pay immediately before court action £ 82.56!
I never got any contact from Atlas Edition for one year and was not aware about this amount due! I saw red and contacted Atlas Edition and CCS debt collector and gave them a piece of my mind.During 4 weeks, I had to search for all my bank statement dating January 2015 to Dec2016, echnaged countless emails to challenge them that no money was due.In fact I realised going through my statements that I overpaid them and they took more of money by direct debit .After sending them all my statements as proof of payment, I received this email:

"Thank you for all the documents. We do apologize for all inconveniences we did bring. As we see that you are good customer to us and due to some technical errors and miscommunication on our side we did cause you extra issues we decide to settle your account and take your details out of CCS databaze. Please aware that whole proccess of communication between us and CCS does take approximatelly 2 weeks.
Should you wish to contact us again on this subject, please make sure you insert the reference above in the title of your email."
    Yours faithfully,
    Customer Services

This company is very dodgy and I will ask all of you to make an official complaint to the Ombudsman as I am doing! The more complaints, the better to stop this deceptive company!

I have been a loyal customer with Atlas Editions for several years and have always been happy with their products, I am currently collecting four different collections. Last year I received a number of letters from them saying that I had not paid for certain parcels I had received. I had sent payment for all my deliveries and have all the customer copies of the invoices to prove it. I was then referred to CCS collect for the outstanding balance. I was furious about this as I had paid all my bills. In the end I paid CCS the balance, CCS closed my account saying I had paid the balance. I assumed that my Atlas Edition account would be reopened and that I would start receiving my collections again.I spoke and emailed Customer Services several times, initially I was told that my account would be reactivated, then I was told that once my account had been referred to CCS my account could no longer be reactivated and I could not buy anything else from Atlas Editions.
I am furious with this situation I have 4 collections that are half complete and have been told that I cannot restart them, all this is due to no fault of my own and I will continue to get this decision reversed and if necessary pursue legal action against Atlas Editions to get my account reactivated. This situation has really disappointed me with this company and I will think very hard whether to purchase any further products from them.
The other point with this issue there is nowhere in any correspondance from the company to inform you that this will happen if you are ever referred to CCS and I would be interested to know if anybody else has experienced this. On several occasions I have requested a contact name for someone senior in the company so that I can discuss this issue with them but have not had any luck.
I now have four Atlas Editions collections that are half complete making me feel angry that unless this is sorted soon I have been paying for collections over several years for nothing.
I will take this issue as far as is necessary to get a satisfactory outcome.
