Okay here goes...I signed up for AT&T Uverse in Sept.2008.They said a technician wasn't available to install service until Nov.29, 2008. My husband and I were excited and eagerly anticipating all of the services ATand T claimed to provide.
Well on Nov.29th the tech came and installed the internet and cable, but was unable to install phone due to being unable to port number from WOW! cable HUH? Okay someone was supposed to call me back in 3 days to let me know when the number could be ported...alas no phone call. So I called them and they said they needed to send a tech back to my house, nothing available until DEC.23rd...hmmmm!They day comes and goes no one shows up or calls.One more day of lost wages.
Call them back Dec.27th...they have no record of us having phone service, order to port number, etc.Asked me for my acct#, i said I never got one, never received paperwork from original install.Okay, so they set us up with another port over # daate...Jan.22, 2009.Day comes and goes with no results, no phone calls nothing.I forgot to mention that AT&T had given us a temporary phone # that on Jan.22nd stopped working so we had no phone now.
Called them back 3 days later...sent someone out to the house that day, tech said nothing wrong with the lines need to just port over number from WOW!, someone will call you with info.
Surprise, surprise no phone call.Called them again set up another port date...no switch over...
So I called them today 3 mos after all this started, said I don't care if my old number gets ported I just want a new phone mumber...Okay Maam we'll have to set up an install date...
End of story.I called WOW! and they will be _re-installing my cable, phone and internet tomorrow! I can hardly wait!!!
