On approximately 5 october 2016 I was directed to the website https://evisas. Eu / owned and operated by assetology incorporated ltd 16, houston str belize city. I was directed to this website to apply for a canadian eta (Electronic visa) which costs $7cad. I went through the application process and at the end was asked to provide my credit card details for payment. I thought it was strange that the site did not provide a total or any indication of the costs associated with my application. On that basis I only completed one of the 2 visas I was applying for. I was charged approximately $133aud for a $8aud visa. I believe that this site and service is misleading and fraudulent and any assistance on this matter would be much appreciated. I seek to have the fees reimbursed. Happy to discuss further and thank you for your assistance.
This has also happened to me and I was charged $400 any progress?
I have also fallen into this trap, applying for one of the 2 visa I required before catching on. Not only did they fail to provide any sort of conformation or receipt but also failed to indicate, as they do on the real immigration site when you select AUS as your nationality, that a visa is not even necessary. I am also eager to know if there is anything that can be done.
