Aspen Dental Customer Service

On 7/30/2023 at approximately 8:15am the aspen dental office located at 3333 North lake Blvd., Suite, 6, North Palm Beach was called and an requested an emergency appointment today. My bridge was loose and I was in pain. The receptionist placed me on hold and upon her return to the phone explained that no appointment were available until Thursday July 6, 2023 and the office closes early on Fridays (2:00 pm. At that point I requested to speak to someone else in the office, but was never connected.

Desired outcome: I need an appt. My mouth is hurting and I am unable to eat.

Went to Aspen to get dentures and did not like the dentures so they recommended implants in my dentures. These are some of the worst fitting Dentures. They cause lots of pain when trying to eat anything. Some of the poorest workmanship I've ever seen. Aspen Dental Submitting correct dental code

I had bottom partials made and received them in August of 2022.

I paid $780.00 dollars for them and was told that my insurance did not cover them. The code that was submitted was D5899. I called my insurance company to verify since I believed that they should be covered. They verified the code that had been submitted and Humana (my insurance) called Aspen Dental and spoke with the person in charge of billing. They agreed that the incorrect dental code had been submitted. I was told that Dr. Gates had signed off on the new/correct code to be submitted (which is code D5876). Humana has spoken numerous times with your billing person, as have I, and the correct code still has not been submitted. Your billing person told me to continue calling so that this wouldn't get overlooked, which I have, and I keep getting put off. I have been trying to resolve this for almost a year. The Aspen Dental office is the Frankfort, Kentucky location. I was just recently told the billing person I was communicating with (Eric) is no longer with Aspen Dental. The new person I've spoken with is Emily, and she said she would call, but has not. I have all phone calls documented with both Humana and Aspen Dental.

Aspen Dental Dentures and partials

I was going out of country in early June 2023 so I went to Aspen Dental in Wichita KS April 11th. I told everyone that helped me in some way, about my trip and that I needed these done a couple of weeks before I leave because there are always tweaks to be done on new teeth. My teeth were finally ready 2 days before leaving so I had to wear the old set which were also bothering me but at least I could eat with them. Dropped in when I got back, they tweaked them for me. Called them back because they still weren't right, and they made an appointment for July 5th. I told them I couldn't eat without my mouth hurting and they said the office would be closed the week before. So here it is June 25th and I still cannot eat with my new teeth. July I will be making the 3rd payment and I still can't use them. They say they are always short Dr's and they were without phones and computers for a couple of weeks. I just want to get this taken care of so I can get on with my life. I have no complaints about the staff, they were very professional and courteous and always apologizing for the delays.

Desired outcome: Dentures that fit and work well. I want to be able to wear these dentures and partials without my gums becoming sore.

Aspen Dental Cleaning and irrigation services/refused to service me

Hailey was the dental hygienist that was rude to me and got an attitude because I refused a "recommended" service that she then turned to a mandatory service. She refused to clean my teeth. Neesha the front desk clerk never greeted me when I entered and she was rude with asking about my payment. Doctor, Office manager, and Dental Hygienist all can in the room at the same time to tell me they were not going to service me.

Desired outcome: Understand my treatment plan and get an answer that I understand and an apology for their unprofessionalism. The office in Yulee, Florida, I never had a problem.

Aspen Dental Dentures

In August 2021 I had a set of dentures made at Aspen dental in Pace Florida. They do not nor have they ever fit. I was promised they would adjust them. They attempted to they still don’t fit. I’ve been trying to get a refund for the last one year and 10 months I’ve gotten nothing but lies promises they stole my money, principal insurance money Dr. Chandler Prichard should not be allowed to practice dentistry if this is the type of practice that she runs.

Aspen Dental Horrible Experience at Aspen Dental: Wrong Quote, Miscommunication, and Painful Dentures

So, I went to Aspen Dental in Pittsfield, MA, and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. I had a sit-down with the dentist and hygienist, and I made it crystal clear what I wanted done. However, they gave me the wrong quote, which caused me to not get a big enough loan. Now, I have to come up with $10k out of pocket. It's a lot of money, and I'm not happy about it.

After that, I decided to try the Hadley, MA office since Pittsfield was not getting back to me about scheduling. When I got there, they tried to charge me $2k more than the Pittsfield price on-file. Luckily, my husband caught it, and they did credit that amount. I had my teeth extracted, and they gave me temporary dentures. I told them many times that I have a very sensitive gag reflex. But when they popped in my dentures and sent me home on a Friday, I was in for a rude awakening.

They told me prescriptions for pain medicine and an antibiotic would be called in to my pharmacy, but then failed to call them in. We spent the rest of Friday and all of Saturday trying to get the on-call dentist to call us back about these prescriptions, but they never called! So here I am on a Saturday evening with pain, dentures that make me gag every time I talk, and I can't swallow well. I haven't eaten since Thursday night, and I won't be able to eat until they fix the dentures because food is getting stuck at the back of these THICK dentures and making me choke!

I'm a nurse, and I can't go back to work gagging every time I talk! Speaking of talking, literally every time I talk, my bottom denture pops out, and I sound like an idiot with how far back this THICK temporary denture goes and the bottom popping out constantly! I'm downright depressed and ready to have a nervous breakdown over this entire experience!

I would not recommend Aspen Dental, and I will be getting estimates for my permanent dentures elsewhere. It's just not worth the hassle and the pain.

Aspen Dental Disappointing Customer Service at Aspen Dental: A Review

I recently visited Aspen Dental for a partial exam as I suspected I may need a root canal in the near future. I had heard that they employed endodontists and they were in my insurance network, so I decided to give them a try. However, my experience was far from pleasant.

Upon entering the office, the receptionist was rather rude and told me to sit down and wait. Despite being the only patient in the office at the time of my appointment, I had to wait for about ten minutes before being asked for my insurance cards and given paperwork to fill out. Finally, I was taken to the exam room where the dentist seemed disinterested in anything I had to say and was quite bored. When I asked questions about my treatment, he never gave me a straight answer and seemed annoyed, telling me to go wait to speak to financial.

After waiting some more, I was greeted by the same woman from the front desk who was now in charge of financial matters. While she was a little nicer when explaining my insurance, she quickly became irritated when I said I wanted to talk to my insurance company first.

The following week, I went back to the office to pay the required amount and schedule an appointment for the root canal. However, the same woman was plain hateful and rude. She told me to sit down and wait, despite me waiting for ten minutes to be acknowledged. When I asked if I could do this online or over the phone, she became even more irritated. I left the office feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Aspen Dental. The lack of customer service skills was truly shocking. I have never been spoken to so rudely in any medical office before. The woman from the front desk spoke to me as if I was her misbehaving child and showed no regret or fear of reprimand from her supervisors. I will not be returning to Aspen Dental and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dental experience.

Aspen Dental Frustrating Experience at Aspen Dental: Inflexibility and Lack of Consideration for Patients

I recently had an experience with Aspen Dental that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. While traveling, I broke off a portion of my front tooth and was concerned that it might break further before I could get to my regular dentist. I called Aspen Dental and made an appointment for that afternoon at an office about 1.5 hours away from where I was staying.

As I was driving to the office, I received a call from Aspen Dental welcoming me and informing me that my appointment would be two hours long. I was surprised and objected, but they explained that it was their policy to have patients fill out paperwork, get x-rays, and see a hygienist before any work could be done. I had not been told this when I made the appointment earlier.

When I arrived at the office, I found a man at the desk who was arguing with the staff about being charged for work on four teeth when he claimed it was only two. I explained my situation and that I had just driven 1.5 hours to get my tooth fixed, but they still insisted on following their policy. Another woman approached the counter and complained that she only needed a rough spot on her tooth filed down and did not want x-rays or a hygienist. Again, the staff refused to budge.

Feeling frustrated and unsure of what to do, both the woman and I decided to walk out. On the phone earlier, Aspen Dental had informed me that the initial office visit would only cost $19 since I did not have dental insurance. However, after my experience at the office, I wondered what the final cost would have been after the x-rays, hygienist, and repair had been done.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at Aspen Dental. While I understand the importance of following policies and procedures, I felt that their inflexibility and lack of consideration for my situation was frustrating. I hope that in the future, they will be more willing to work with patients and provide more transparent information about their policies and costs.

Aspen Dental Disappointing Experience at Aspen Dental: Long Wait Times and Lack of Handicap Parking

I recently visited Aspen Dental located on Highway 35 in Ocean Township, New Jersey. I had been searching for a dentist for a few months and decided to give Aspen Dental a try after watching some positive online presentations. I called on January 5, 2023 to make an appointment and was greeted by a friendly person who gathered my information and scheduled me for an appointment the next day at noon. I also inquired about handicap parking and was told that there were plenty of spots available.

As someone who is handicapped, I was a bit nervous about my visit to the dentist. However, I was reassured by the fact that my first visit would be free and that x-rays would also be included at no charge. I was also told that a treatment plan would be discussed before any further procedures were done.

On the day of my appointment, I arrived 15 minutes early and completed the check-in process. However, I quickly realized that the parking lot was packed and all of the handicap spots were already taken. When I entered the waiting room, there were about eight people ahead of me who had yet to be seen. I struck up a conversation with the woman next to me who had been waiting with her mother for over an hour. She explained that her mother had Medicare and that Aspen Dental was the only place that would see her.

As time went on, I became increasingly frustrated with the wait time. My appointment was at noon and it was now 12:11 PM with no sign of being seen anytime soon. I decided to leave and informed the receptionist of my decision. She asked if I wanted to reschedule, but I declined. I felt that the wait time was unacceptable and that something was broken in their system. It was not communicated to me when I made the appointment that there would be such a long wait time.

Overall, I would say that my experience at Aspen Dental was disappointing. While the staff was friendly and accommodating on the phone, the wait time and lack of available handicap parking left a lot to be desired. I would only recommend this place as a last resort if there are no other options available.

Aspen Dental Warning: Shoddy Treatment and Intimidation at Aspen Dental in Mechanicsville

I recently had an experience at Aspen Dental in Mechanicsville that left me feeling taken advantage of. As a newly retired individual on a fixed income, I explained to the office that I only needed a partial replacement. However, I ended up undergoing a detailed cleaning, root canal, filling, extraction, and more, all to the tune of roughly $2000 out of pocket, even after paying for the partials out of pocket.

When I contacted the Regional Office to inquire about the hefty bill and how to rectify it, I was referred back to the office that had wronged me. The office manager was dismissive, condescending, abrupt, and rude, and I felt like my concerns were not being taken seriously.

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel like it's important to warn others about the shoddy treatment I received at Aspen Dental. From what I've heard, this is a common practice, and the staff is intimidated by the acting office manager. I would not recommend this practice to anyone, and I plan on making my experience known to as many people as possible.

While some staff members have apologized for the way I've been treated, they've also told me that this is just how the office operates. I've been put on hold, left on hold, and even hung up on when I call, and I've been told that if I don't pay my bill immediately, I'll go to collections.

I plan on paying my bill monthly when I receive my Social Security, but I refuse to be silent about the luring practices that Aspen Dental engages in. Consumers need to be aware of what they're getting into before they visit this practice.

Aspen Dental Mixed Experience at Aspen Dental: Long Wait Times and Miscommunication, but Friendly Staff and Knowledgeable Dentist

So, I had a recent experience with Aspen Dental in Hendersonville, NC. I had to switch dental services because my previous provider was no longer in network with my insurance. As a new patient, I made an appointment with Aspen Dental six months in advance.

I received a reminder to confirm my appointment, which I did two days before the scheduled date. I arrived 15 minutes early and filled out the necessary paperwork. However, I ended up waiting for almost an hour before my name was called.

The hygienist asked me to take six X-rays for my teeth, but it ended up being more than 12 X-rays because she couldn't get the positioning right. After that, I sat in the patient's chair and the hygienist checked my teeth for a 3D denture image. Then, a dentist came in to check my teeth and told me everything looked good.

However, when I asked the hygienist if she could clean my teeth, she told me I had to make another appointment because the only hygienist at Aspen Dental was not available that day. I was frustrated, but I had no choice but to make another appointment. I was told to wait in the waiting room, and after a while, I went to the front desk to ask for a new appointment. The staff told me to wait for a minute, then two minutes, and finally found me an appointment six months later.

I was upset because I missed my appointment due to no fault of my own, but the staff told me that my teeth were fine for another six months. I'm not sure if I should go back to Aspen Dental for my next appointment.

Overall, my experience with Aspen Dental was frustrating. The long wait times and miscommunication about the availability of the hygienist were disappointing. However, the staff was friendly and the dentist was knowledgeable. I'm still undecided about whether or not I will return for my next appointment.

Aspen Dental Disappointing Service and Communication at Aspen Dental in Columbus, GA

Been going to Aspen Dental in Columbus, GA for almost ten years now and I gotta say, the changes in the office staff are pretty noticeable. Lately, I've been having some issues with the service and communication from the staff. It took me a whole week just to schedule an appointment because of some corporate errors with my account. I had to deal with corporate directly because neither of the Aspen offices were helpful. Finally, I got an appointment but all they did was take x-rays and deferred the actual work for another week, even though the appointment was scheduled for the work that needed to be done. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, they told me they couldn't see me because they were short on dentists and tried to push my appointment further out. I protested and finally got an appointment for the following day.

During all of this, I found out that I had an outstanding debt that was apparently 4 1/2 years old and I had no idea about it until they told me I had a balance due. Who waits 4 1/2 years to tell someone they have an unpaid debt? When I asked to speak with someone about it, they just handed me a printout of my office visit history and I had to sort through it myself to figure out what insurance paid and what I paid. They promised to address the issue on my third office visit, but I had to take off work to make these appointments and they would charge me for an office visit if I failed to show up for a scheduled appointment. But there were no consequences for the office?

It took me three appointments just to get a filling fixed that I tried to get fixed weeks ago. I waited for 1 1/2 hours and still wasn't seen until I walked out of the office, along with at least three other customers who had the same issue of not being able to speak with someone about their issues. This office hasn't been the same since Daniel left before the pandemic.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with the service and communication from Aspen Dental. It's frustrating to have to deal with corporate and not get any help from the office staff. I hope they can improve their service and communication in the future.
