JC Penney product incorrectly priced and rude customer service

A display bed had a quilt on top (there were At least 2 other quilts underneath it) I was only looking and interested in the top quilt. There was a sale ticket in front of it. Sales associate said Sign in wrong place, and kept repeating. She said price was for quilts "underneath " the top one on bed. I told her that it was not my problem that it was mid marked, and she replied "it's not my problem either." At this point I asked for a supervisor, and someone came. He still tried to say same song...but eventually gave price posted. And when I left store... they still had not made correction on the item display . Terrible customer service!

JC Penney girls shoes

Bought this pair of sandals from JC Penny for my little girl who absolutely loved them. She wore them only three times before they started coming apart. The first strap came out but she was still able to wear them but by the end of the day the second strap had also come out. Also, as you can see in the pictures attached, the rhinestone beading also started coming undone from the straps.

JC Penney arizona jeans rip

These jeans have turned to terrible quality. They used to hold up decent now the pockets rip off with very little use.
Five pairs have tore in no time.

It's clear they have changed to a stretchy material. The elastic fibers can be seen within the tears in the fabric.

As an aside I do not carry anything g different in my pockets than I used to. The jeans just do not hold up any longer. If you get get a month out of them you are lucky

JC Penney hair stylist

I went to the salon and the stylist began coloring my hair as I requested highlights and lowlights...which I had been used to for past several years at Regis (but sadly, they closed there). The stylist acted like she had no emotion and no care of performing a good job. My hair turned out orange and had dark spots in some areas. She told me it wasn't orange but would "fix it for me" if I wanted. I went home and got others opinions and sure enough...lots of orange and uneven color. I went back couple days later and asked her to correct it. She started over and never said a word to me. While my hair was being toned at the sink, she slathered in extra bleach on front roots and rinsed off after 3-4 minutes. I thought that was strange. When she finished drying my hair, I looked in mirror and wanted to cry. She had greenish black tone on both sides of my hair and total yellow/orange right in front of my hair. I looked like a clown. She didn't see a problem at all and did not care. I was furious. I went straight to Sally's and asked them if it was my imagination. Yet again, they said sides of my hair was dark and looked real odd. They said she didn't lift front enough either. I bought oops and had to strip the color from my hair- it was that bad! I will NEVER go there again. What a joke that was for 135.00. Beware!

JC Penney no fitting rooms open at tuttle store in columbus ohio

No wonder the brick and morter stores are in trouble, you discourage people from shopping there. Today (June 13, 2019) I was at the JCP at Tuttle Mall in Columbus, Ohio and there was only one womens's fitting room open in the entire store. Makes it difficult when you are at the other end of the store and the one that was open had all the doors closed! When an associate was asked, she simply said that it was full. Another women told her she was from Circleville, and it was too far to drive back and forth to try on clothes. I told the associate this is ridiculouse and the only response we got was " we don't have anyone to monitor the fitting rooms". Really! do you think we are that stupid, you never have anyone monitoring the fitting rooms. People come and go and there is always a pile of clothes in the fitting rooms. Monitors don't exist! Thats just your excuse not to have to clean the fitting rooms! I dropped my armfull of clothes on the floor at her feet and walked out! I went to Macys and purchased what I needed. At least I could find a fitting room and didn't have some clerk lying to me as to why the fitting rooms were closed! Not everyone wants to shop on line. There are a lot of groups of people other than millenians that have a lot more money to spend and they don't like to shop exclusively on line. I will take my business to other departments stores and botique shops that will cater to my style of shopping and appriciate my business! And don't think this is the only place I will complain about JCP because it's only the first. No wonder you have less than a 2 rating out of 5. You have no idea what the customer wants or how to take care of them. You treat us like we are an inconvience. And most of all, I dont like workers who can not solve a simple problen and then lie to me! JC Penney salon

I was an employee at JC Penney in Clermont and came to get my hair done..I was told the stylist specialize in ethnic hair..however she was not..she asked ME how to try my hair?..sat me under the dryer for 40 min..and when done it was still wet?!..she complained about the weave glue i put in my hair and embarrassed me at the end of service she didnt even give me my employee discount..I told the mgr Heather the next day..she told me she didnt know how to credit me back?She also treated me terrible told me to stop talking when i tried to explain how to refund..it was the worse experience..I felt i was treated terrible because i was an employee at that time..but i came in as a cliente..I no longer work for JC Penney...but the entire incidente i feel needs to be reported so they are trailer how to treat ethnic cliente and employees

JC Penney ambrielle bras

hi my name is Teressa Turner. I am a loyal customer with JCPpenney. I also hold a credit card with you. My complaint is I brought a bra back in January. I always get my bras from there. but the problem this time is I can see the wire. My bras usually last at least a year or two. I just want another bra as they are expensive...thank you for you time. My cell is [protected] size 40 ddd I think I may have purchased the item sometimes i n February. I got it on my card.

JC Penney coupons

I think it is ridiculous that JCPenney no longer allows the cashiers to swipe coupons. Today I shopped at Penney's. I made four separate purchases. The first purchase, I asked the cashier if you had coupons on line. She told me yes, I used my phone searched and could not locate them and then my phone died. The customer in front of me used the coupon.

Why should I pay more just because my phone died? I'm so angry I will be returning these items. I should have left them there. I used to work at these same store years ago and we assisted customers in using coupons (in fact, I dont' think they were online then). This is crazy!

Penney's is losing a once a loyal customer.

Thanks to social media, yelp, etc. I will spread the word.

I agree about the coupons with not any coupons to scan at the register. The way I look at it as an associates point of view, is that you are shopping there and you are making them money anyway. Clothes are sooooooo over priced anyway and that's how they can mark them down so low. No, everyone doesn't have a smart phone and that's their choice, why not treat people they way you would want to be treated. I am 48 years old and things have sure changed in the past 20 years.. people was number one back then and you felt like that too. Now it's all pushing credit cards apps down customers throats and that's all they care about. As of today, I am no longer an associate with them, and if that's why I had surgery complications before and after surgery and I got points for that and wow, if a family emergency comes about, it doesn't matter if you have to take them to the ER. I will not shop there at all anymore and I am returning my things that I got there yesterday, WORD IS POWER AND I WILL NEVER SAY ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS COMPANY!

JC Penney hair salon

I have been using Olga in Alexandria LA for a period of time. Recently in the last several months, each time I arrive for an appointment, she is not ready for me. I have to wait. In my opinion appointments are set for a reason.
On 05/16/19, I had a preschedule appointment for my son that had been made 6 weeks in advance for 4:30 pm. I also had an appointment for my self that had been scheduled earlier in the day. I arrived promptly for our appointment and Olga was no were to be found. Another stylist asked me if I needed something, and I told her that I had a 4:00 appointment with Olga. She informed me that Olga was in the back with another customer and she would be out. Ten minutes later, Olga comes from the back with her customer, and I asked her how long it was going to be. She stated 10 minutes. Well, it is without saying, that a customer with a towel still on her head who just sat down, can not be taken care of in 10 minutes. So we walked out to get a drink and when we returned it was 5:00 pm and Olga stated, oh you came back. Now, I was under the assumption that since my appointment was for a color, that she would do my hair first and them, cut my son's hair while my dye was setting. I didn't respond and I told her. She placed my son in the chair and never inquired about my hair appointment. At this point, I told her that I wanted the same hair cut for my son as last time, just shorter. I also told her that he wanted to be able to style his bangs as usual. When she was done cutting his hair, it was too short on the top to be styled or even combed. She apologized to my son for being in a hurry to cut his hair. She never apologized to me or even spoke to me. So being completely unhappy with the entire event, I paid her and even tipped her as I always do even being unhappy. On Friday the 17th, I text Olga and asked her for the color codes that she used during my appointments and she had not supplied but has canceled by upcoming appointments. If this was my only occasion of having to wait, I would not be filing this complaint, however it has been this way for my last several appointments. I am respectfully asking that I be provided the information that I have requested for my hair color brand and number of my dye, and what strength developer that she has been using for me. I have been a customer for over one year.

JC Penney security labels not being removed

I shopped the JC Penney at the Richland Mall on Sunday, May 12th. I live 22 miles from this store so this is an hour round trip for just driving. I purchased a dress for my granddaughter that she had to have on Monday the 13th. After getting home and taking it out of the dress bag discovered they did not remove the security tag. I had to drive another 44 miles and a hour out of my time to return to the store to have it removed. I asked for a manager and the only one available said they could give me a 10% disount. I bought the dress on sale and had used by $10 reward and a discount so that was going to be a $2.50 discount. This didn't even pay my gas for driving all the way back let alone my time and on Mother's Day when I would have rather spent it with my k ids! I feel this is unacceptable and should have been given more to make up for the associate not doing their job properly. I want to know if Penny's will do something to make up for t his. JC Penney boots

I bought two pairs of boots to wear to work. I wore them maybe 10 times each if that and one heal on each boot broke. Its like they were dry rotted and just cracked. Now I have 2 pairs of boots I cant wear. I am highly disappointed. I can not believe how much this company is going down hill. I will make sure everyone knows not to buy Arizona Brand.

JC Penney salon

I am not happy or satisfied with the services and outcomes I received at JC Penney Salon this evening. My daughter and I called and asked if we could make appointments to get our hair done and was told to come in. The stylist braided my daughter hair too tight. The stylist nails werw too ling and protruded into my daughter's scalp adding to a very sore head. My daughter cried throughout her process of getting her hair done which led the stylist in saying that's why she didn't complete her hair correctly and offered for her to come back in a week so she could straighten it out. My daughter asked the stylist not to put glue on her hair, yet she loaded glue in her uair anyway. Even though my daughter showed the stylist a picture of her desired style, she did not get her desires granted. Her bangs were cut to what the stylist felt would be best despite what had been verbalized by my daughter. My daughter left the salon with a silver hair clip in the front of her head to pull her hair to the side. The stylist stated that she couldn't get my daughter closure right because my daughter was complaining about her head being tender. These things are just unacceptable. We both expect better service from JC Penney. However, we were still over charged. My daughter is so unhappy with the outcome of her hair and I are too.

My hair did not come out successful either. I asked for a side part, instead, the stylist pulled my hair to one side leaving tracks visible stating that I could come back for her to "tweet" my hair later. Even though the stylist was shown a picture of my desired hairstyle, she did not honor my wishes. My bang was too long, she did not use my closure that I had provided leaving visible tracks in the top of my head loaded with undesirable glue.

This was both my daughter and I first experience at JC Penney salon in the Augusta Mall on Wrightsboro road. The outcome of our hair is not what we expected at all. I feel as if I paid a substantial amount of money for the disappointing outcome. For these multiple reasons, I want a refund. Even with a refund, this visit will result in a loss because the weave we purchase has been cut and we will not be able to reuse it. The price quoted to me early during the visit, increased at the end.

We are unhappy customers.

JC Penney arizona original bootcut

I've always worn Arizona jeans great fit and durable jeans but I bought two pair of original bootcut this year and both pair have ripped on the inside seam of the right pocket not real happy with the quality of the jeans if the the quality of the jeans doesn't improve I will probably not buy anymore jeans but I really don't want to because I like the fit of them and how long the pairs I've owed the they first come out habe lasted

JC Penney delivery of my bed frame

I bought the bed frame and the delivery day they no call no show, totally disrespectful of my time very unprofessional, so I call the delivery company last mile and very rude they told me I gonna have to wait until Monday, even if it was their fail to deliver i call on Monday bday and told them the delivery has to be before noon or after 5:00pm any day ohhh well bad enough they call Tuesday at 300pm and said they were on their way to delivery, I told the driver the that can be possible I was at work the thing it's until today I don't have my bed grease it's really horrible hassle you have to go through and nobody help you I call coprporate they said it's nothing can be done I was whatttt you guys suppose to protect your customers rights because the delivery company breach their contract since day one no call no show
And I have the probe how many times I been calling them, this is the worst place to buy any furniture or mattress I will not ever do it again, because this is the second time and they still bad as the fist time
Very upset and looking for some legal or bureau business they can hel to do something about it

They haven't deliver my bed frame I even told them the I get rid of my old box spring to place the new one and they still don't care
The company HotShotfinal mile they don care they hung up on me so many times and when they don't hung up they just leave me on hold for about 45 min, it's a damn horrible service, people and company
Someone should take care of all this complaints, and take in consideration the reviews and do not ever buy furniture at Jcpenney

JC Penney curio cabinet

We Purchased a Curio Cabinet on March 16th using my Pay Pal. The cabinet arrived on May 4th damaged, we refused to accept delivery. We called customer service and we were told we had to cancel the original order and reorder. We could not use Pay Pal as they would issue a credit and had to use Debit card for new order. So with the second Curio being ordered on May 4th we have not seen the curio so my wife called JC Penney customer service and the cabinet has not shipped and not sure when the cabinet will ship. It seems to me that a company struggling to survive in todays retail marketplace the most important asset is their customers. My family including children and grandchildren will no longer patronize JC Penny. I realize that you probably don't care but as time goes on and more and more people feel as we do maybe you'll start caring. I hope its not too late.

JC Penney Boot cut khakis and black pants

The JC Penny's store in Washington, MO has stopped carrying your boot cut khakis and black pants. They are now sateen and skinny pants. They are very short and do not give at all in the knees. I've been wearing these pants as work pants for ten years now and they've been perfect for what I do. After pulling them off your shelves and replacing them with the skinny ones, I'm sure you've lost a LOT of business. I've heard multiple complaints from my workers and workers from around town saying that they were upset they aren't in stores anymore. Bring back the boot cut khakis and black pants, please! There's nowhere else to buy them from!

JC Penney men's boot cut jeans

I bought 4 pairs of Arizona Boot Slim cut jeans in December 2018. Out of the 4 pairs, 2 have ripped in the crotch after a few wears and one ripped at the back pocket. None are repairable because of where they ripped. Before this my son had his Arizona's for years before they started to rip which is why we bought them again. This is unacceptable and very disappointing

JC Penney wedding band and diamond engagement ring

Jim and I bought the rings at the Uniontown Mall Penney's.We spent just under $1, 000. The rings needed re%sized. The wedding band needed to go from a size 11 to a size 13. The diamond engagement ring needed re-sized from size 7 to size 7.5. It took two weeks for the re-sizing. When. we went to get the rings, Jim's wedding band was OK. My engagement ring was re-sized alright - to a size "5"! How was that possible when the instructions were typed!

When the Penney's employee called me, she was so rude. She told me ONE of the rings came in. I asked which ring, and she said "well I would say it is guys since it is a size 13. I then asked why it was taking so long since we were TOLD it would be two weeks. She then said, "if you read the contract, it can take 3 to 4 weeks". I did tell her I thought she was rude, and asked her name, and she refused to tell me her name. I asked for the manager, but did not get her right then.

We did take Jim's wedding band. And get this, we spend the little less than $1000, and they handed us Jim's ring in a little zip lock plastic bag!

Never, never will I shop at Penney's !

It isn't real gold. I purchased a platinum diamond wedding set. Took it to be appraised was told it is platineer 5% platinum and 95% silver. No box no tags because it was sized. I wanted to return it because it is false advertisement no refund due to it being sized. Now I am stuck with a ring that i bought for 547.70 on sale, regular price 937.48 that has zero value. I couldn't even pawn it.

JC Penney customer service

Today was the anniversary gift card/coupon giveaway to customers. The store opened at 10 and my daughter and I and another customer arrived about 3 to 5 minutes after the store opened and no cards to be given. The JCP employee told us that a bus with over 50 people were waiting at the door. I guess she thought we were born yesterday because if there were that many people they would of still been in line when we arrived. She could not of given card to over 50 people in 5 minutes. So that was a load of BS. So does JCP teach their employees to lie to customers? This is not good customer service. Not only did I waste my time and gas. I had to go somewhere else to buy want i wanted. I sure was not going to buy at jcp. Since this seam to be a come on to get you at jcp! I will let my friends and co-workers know what happen!

Waist band shredding, also Hanes product, waist band stretching out, can't wear any more.Should replace both 3 packs.
