Back on 12/20/19 I purchase a men's travel kit with colon samples for a gift at the Sephora counter . I took the package home . My wife look at the item in the bag it was never opened by anyone. she saw the photo on the sleeve said to return it it wasn't what she had in mind. On the next day I returned to the store to return the purchase. The clerk opened the package tells me the coupon is missing, I know nothing about the it I haven't even look at the kit other then the sleeve attach to the kit. She calls supervisor who I might add never talk to me or came to the counter. The clerk was told not refund the $75.77 I paid so I told the clerk its of no use to me if there is no coupon and I don`t want the item Im out $75.77 . By this time I'm angry because number 1 why would I return something on opened, supposedly with out a coupon and request refund. If the refund had been done the purchase would be nell and void so no one could have used the so call coupon of which I never saw nor did I open the kit. I left the kit with the clerk at the Sephora counter. Further more now I get a letter saying I have to pay for a item I do not have nor a so called coupon I don`t have . Arizona Jeans
Purchased a black pair of jeans in August 2019 at JC Penney in Clarksburg, WV. They were only purchase to be worn to work which is at a grocery store. Did start wearing them until September as he was off due to a broken leg. About a month after wearing them, the butt of the jean by the seam was ripped very badly. The jeans were not roughly treated. A second pair either purchased in August or at Christmas time, was just taken out of the washer today, February 24 and they're ripped by the right back pocket.

On Sunday 2/16/2020 I went to the store to purchase a pair of penny loafers for my son. I asked the floor rep for help and he asked the other rep what kind of shoe I was asking for. She replied, " No we don't have any." Looking over in the next aisle I locate the penny loafers and I show them the shoes for further reference, in case someone else asks. The male clerk resonds to me, "My bad?" I could not believe I was in a JC Penny store. My bad? Are we on the streets? I requested a managerLatisha who later appeared, I advised her of the situation and she said she would speak to them regarding the altercation.
Spending money in an establishment and being treated in such a manner is bad business and very unprofessional.

My name is Terri Harden and on Jan 3, 2020 I purchased a pair of shoes at Monroeville mall. I told the associate I was using my JCP mastercard because I saw others getting a discount if they used their card. She then told me unless I had the coupon she wouldn't honor it but meanwhile I witnessed her giving it to the customers before me. She said that I could go online and order and get the coupon. I needed the shoes for my daughters dance so I still purchsed them. I was so upset because she was a woman of color and so were the other customers getting the discount. I won't be going to that store again and I returned those shoes and purchased a pair from Macys down the hall and they gave me a discount without even asking. In this climate of stores losing business you should treat every customer the same. I waited so long to email because I went online and did the survey expecting a response but never got one. I will also be closing my credit card because I don't need to patronize stores that don't treat me well.

On 2/8/20 at 12:15pm I went to have my hair wash, blow out and flat iron at JC Penney Hair Salon in Middletwon, NY. During my entire time sitting in the chair, having this process done. The stylist next to me, kept on going on that she is the boss there and no one can tell her what to do. After my wash, blow out and flat iron process I paid my stylist (Cathy)for what she charged me to do my hair. Then the stylist who kept going on about how she is the boss. Told me that I need to pay $15 for extra for long hair for blowing out my hair and another $15 for long hair for flat ironing my hair. I have been to this salon before and only paid one time $15 extra for long hair. This rude stylist i.e. the fake boss, who did not even do my hair kept screaming at me that I need to pay $15 for the blow and another $15 for the flat iron. For an extra $30 in addtion to what the regular service chanrge was. I have been to many salons in my life and never paid an extra fee for every single process done to my hair. I totally understand paying more for the length. But that is usually a flat charge. This lady is a crook and very unprofessional screaming at a customer. Not to mention that she was not my sylist or even the boss of the salon. Why is she even involved in the process to begin. I would like my money back for this visit and a formal apology. This lady should be reprimanded. In this day and age where brick and mortar stores are closing up. JC Penney Salon has this unprofessional greedy person ripping of your customers. Something needs to be done about her. How can JC Penney tolerate having a self appointed boss. Who is running away your customers. This really could not be good for business.

I ordered 3 dresses. A day after the order was placed the price of the dresses was lower with the use of an online coupon. I called customer service to try to get the lower price but was told that because the lower price was due to an online coupon the policy is that they could not adjust the price. It was suggested that I return the order and reorder it. That is not a customer friendly policy and is a complete waste of time. I will return the order but will not reorder it or anything else.

So on this beautiful Saturday Feb 1.2020, in Eugene, Or. My family and I walked in to JCPenney and 3 minutes after I walked in, an older women grabbed her walkie talkies and said to have security scan in men's shoes, and I look around, and low and behold, I'm the only person there. So as I walked with my family thru the store I noticed the same red shirt wearing people in every section we went to. needless to say our beautiful Saturday started to get a lil tarnished. by the end of our shopping trip we just wanted to leave and get away from the people making us feel like we were doing something wrong. Now I would be willing to say that it was possibly coincidence...but the same exact experience happened a week ago when we came here last weekend.

1-24-20 I went to JCP in Castleton, Indianapolis for an Optical Appointment. I arrived early and the optical office was closed. I went and did some shopping for my grandson. At check out everything was fine until I used my jcp card, for some reason the clerk gave me a mean look after he looked at the monitor screen as if he had seen something terrible. He didn't mention my 20$ worth of rewards and didn't remove the anti theft tag on one item.
I went to my appointment and all was fine. Until the clerk looked at the screen and gave me the same look. She did ask if I was part of the rewards program. I replied that I was. She said I had been removed somehow, I expected her to reenter my information. She just finshed the transaction and I still didn't receive the reward. She gave me my reciept and turned away ignoring me. She didn't tell me when my glasses would be ready. I left and wrote this the next morning 1-25-20. I'm really upset and would like to known what is going on. Thank You for your time and assistance.

I purchased two pairs of Arizona jeans a few months ago and really loved the way they fit and felt, however one pair has gotten multiple holes in them. I would understand if I was up and about walking or working in them but I am an accountant and sit at a desk all day when I have them on. For the amount the jeans cost I would expect them to last a lot longer!

I went in and told the girl i wanted the same as 2 months earlier which was half blonde half mocha she wS ok she put bleach around 2 pm and removed it at 6 pm not even checking 1 time at 5pm she starting blocking the brown all over my head she then 6 pulled off the bleach from the front of my hair which broke my hair. I told them that night she had my hair all dryed . I wouldnt let her cut my hair cause she was acting all weird about alk of it. I went in got my hair fixed but i missed a day of work to get it fixed and i sat there 5 hr the first day 3 1/2. The second amd paid full price . And my hair was falling out burned when i left. I notmad at the lady that fixed my hair but i am at the lady that messed it up.

I have been purchasing Arizona Men's Mid-Rise Loose Fit Jeans, Web ID 5234425 from JC Penney for several years. Size 38x36, color dark tint. Today I discovered they are on clearance and being discontinued. This is extremely disappointing. I can see no reason to discontinue this jean. Most of your other jean models offer the color Dark Tint. Why would you discontinue the most popular color? You also manufactur the identical jeans (Arizona Men's Loose Fit Jeans, Web ID: 5234121) in colors Light Tint and Dark Rinse. Please add Dark Tint as an option.
Also, many of your jeans show as available when selecting the size and color on line, only to find out they are out of stock when you try to check out or call JCP. Please keep your stock up to date or improve the JCP website.

unfair treatment
My husband and I just got married and were looking at mattresses to purchase. As we are pushing down on a couple of them with our hands to get a feel of them we were laughing and talking about our future and a worker nearby said we had to "find another place to go you can't play over here". Mind you we were not jumping nor lying on the mattresses or doing anything out of the ordinary just trying to find the one we wanted. I just don't understand why we were asked to go somewhere else if we weren't doing anything wrong. We were looking to purchase a set today, but we chose to go elsewhere.

Over the past year I have purchased around 6 or 7 pair of jeans from jcpenny here in Harrisonburg Va. I have always been a big fan of Arizona jeans. But now I am really considering never buying another pair or even buying anymore clothes from Jcpenny. I now out of the pairs I have bought over this year I have 3 pair now. Every pair I have had. Has split open around the back pocket or in the crotch of the jeans. And then it is a hassle to get anything switched out. I am really disappointed in Arizona jeans right now. You guys were my favorite jeans.
arizona women's luppo flat heel slip on booties
I purchased these booties for the inclement weather we have in the North East. I bought them in store at the Warwick Rhode Island location of JCP.These booties are unwearable due to the rubber smell which is overpowering. I am a valued regular customer of JCP and these booties are not in line with JCP quality. I would be happy to send them back to you for a store credit. Please advise.

arizona low rise bootcut jeans no longs!
Is their a reason why longs are no longer available? I am tall and a 30in inseam does not work. I've always bought arizona jeans in longs from jcpenney and loved them. I'll have to shop elsewhere now for Jean's, but it sucks because Arizona were a great fit. I've looked at a bunch of places where Arizona jeans are sold and no longs are available anywhere. Tall people exist! I'd rather not have high water pants.

I have had these jeans for approximately three years and they are my best pair. I had just noticed today that they had a tear from the back seam of the seat of the pants and I had been walking around in public. It looks like the material got torn from the seam! Maybe it was a bad sewing of the back seam itself? The rest of the jean material is fine. I would like to get a replacement. Hopefully the same make and design. They are size 9

I want to JCPenney's and had an exam and everything was fine I went back to get my glasses they said that they offered a 10% senior discount.
I found the glass frames that I liked and I was really excited about it they were $339 I have Vision Care that I pay for every month to the post office they cover $330 of my frames . That would be more than enough to be able to get the frames that I wanted use my insurance and use my discount that I was told they offer. I have very good vision coverage and when I went to leave I was told that I owed money I asked for and they said they only give a discount I mean about the insurance does not cover which is $9 so they were going to give me a $0.90 discount. I feel like I'm getting punished for having insurance if they offer a discount then I should be able need to use the discount with or without insurance.
They either give one or dont give one. I ended up settling for another pair of frames. When I went back to get them they had put it in the wrong prescription so they had to resend everything back in again. I did ask Venture explain why they only gave a discount on the $9 but nobody seemed to be able to tell me they said they were under contract with my insurance company another not I can go wherever I want glasses until they answer was bogus now $9 is $9 but $0.90 they're arguing with me for $0.90 I will tell everybody that I know what they did so instead of me being good referral they're not going to get any referrals

My son has had this coat for less than 2 months and the zipper recently fell off because some of the teeth are missing towards the bottom of the coat. I bought a larger size so he could grow in to it and also wear it next winter and now he can't even wear it this year because it will not zip up properly. I am unable to take it back to JC Penney because of their 45 day return policy. I would like a full refund or a new coat!

On December 1, 2019, I wanted to purchase a sweater(item # 8424231) (in medium) (color: frost) for my granddaughter the only one that they had was on the mannequin the salesclerk said that it was company policy not to take it off it. So she said she would order one from another store and she checked to see if it was available and it was. (salesclerk #0023) So she placed the order and she said it would probably be here 7 days.
So I didn't hear anything. So on December 9, 2019, I call and they said it was supposed to come to the store that day. On Wednesday, December 11, 2019, I was going to be at the store so I stopped to see if it was in by chance. She said it didn't come in on the 9th but maybe that day or the next. While I was at the store I asked if there was any way possible that I could have the one -off the mannequin and I explain that on December 1, 2019, the salesclerk so that I couldn't because of company policy and the person in JCP.com said that it isn't company policy. So she called the women dept. but they already had sold it to someone. So I called on Thursday, December 12, 2019, to see if it came in and that lady who was very rude said that they were having trouble locating it so they would just cxl my order just like that. An order that I having been waiting for 12 days for which is a Christmas present. She then tells me there no more available and what do I want her to do about? I told her do not cxl my order in case somehow someone can find it. Then I went online to see if I could locate one, which I found some in another state that if you live there you could do a store pickup, but I don't live so I called the store to see if they could send it to me and they said no that it was only store pickup. So the bottom line is my granddaughter not getting this for Christmas and no one cares. I have called customer care and anyone that I could think of or find to call. So It is December 12, 2019, at 7:00 pm in Greensburg, PA that I am writing this hoping that someone cares. All I have is my jcp.com order slip (order Number [protected]) and the email saying that they shipped it and what the lady at Penney said that it was supposed to be in on December 9, 2019. Purchased kitchen suite in oct 2018 along with warranties. Late oct/ early nov called in to file a claim for diswasher (heat system not working & mold on multiple dishes). Talked to multiple people of a span of weeks... Needed copies of receipts because nothing was on file under name or telephone number. Sent copies and was told that it would take approx 10 business days. Yesterday (12/10/2019) a check came in the amount of 113.00 and called ascurion to learn that "somebody" canceled my warranty and derrick (supervisor) said its nothing else they can do. Someone is going to do something at this point. I have 4 appliances that suppose to be protected and now it is not. Why would I have paid for a plan in the first place? Doesn't make any sense. I should have took my $2k to a reliable business like lowe's or home depot. At this point I want a full refund... They can come and pick up the whole set. I am beyond pissed and want something done! I see why so many stores closed-unbelievable...
I want my appliances to be in working condition with all warranties restored and if not possible. Refund for entire 4 items.
