Applebee's food and customer service

I placed a to go order and the food was old and cold. I called the manger crystal and she told me she would replace the order for me the next day. The next my placed the order online and did a pick up at store. I placed the order from my mobile app some how I was charged a second time. I called back and talked to the assistant who promised he would fix the situation and call me back and didn't. I talked with the assistant three times and crystal two times nothing got handled and no one has called me back. When u asked for corporate number they wouldn't give it to me. I would not be coming back to this establishment. Very poor management.

Applebee's petaluma restaurant/wine menu

Hello,

Well, I have to admit you are making progress with the wine list at the petaluma applebee's, which is located in the heart of the wine country. Until recently, this restaurant was only offering wines you could buy at the drug store. Now there are better wines but the irony is that none of them are from sonoma county (where petaluma is located) which is wine country, big time! All the wines on the menu are from napa valley, which has always been in direct competition with sonoma county wines. It's an embarrassment — and a perfect example of why things don't really work at chain restaurants anymore. Even the water was rolling his eyes about this situation. One more thing, we wine loves love our zinfandel — not white zinfandel but real zinfandel. You know, the red stuff.
Otherwise, I like this place and have been coming here for years. The bar tender used to keep a decent bottle of sonoma county zinfandel behind the bar for people like me who know better than to drink napa valley or drug store wine. Come on guys! You can do it — add some sonoma county wines to the menu and you will make a lot of locals very happy. Thank you!

Applebee's rejected entry

It was my sisters birthday and we went to applebees and reached by 9.40 pm and the restaurant closes by 10 pm. We opened the door as it had open sign the guy came forward as we expected him to ask us be seated. This was not done infact he said the kitchen is closing in next 15 minutes but if you want you can come and sit. What should we do after coming in. Just sit and dont eat. Indirectly he prompted us that we cant serve you.we were highly disappointed as I knw if the time was 10 and we enter they are suppose to serve us once we in doesnt matter what time kitchen closes. After 10 you cant enter. I just felt there was no ome was in like no customers so he didnot wanted to serve us. Made our day worst.

Applebee's waiter named christian (male)

Went to Applebee's in Elgin, IL. Ordered my food, asked Christian if the food had onions. It did have onion crisps so I asked if they could substitute the onions for fries. He said he would have to check. He never came back to the table to tell us one way or the other. Our food comes, they did replace the onions with a very small portion of fries. I took a picture because it actually made me chuckle because it was such a small portion. My husband and I ate our dinner. At the end, my husband ordered another beer (#2) and I was asked if we were going to have dessert. I said I would check and let him know. I saw that there was a "sundae shooter" on the menu. I asked if it was just a small cup of ice cream and Christian said yes. I said okay, I don't want that. I asked him to ask his boss if he could put two scoops of ice cream into a bowl with some chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Again, he did not come back to our table to tell us one way or the other. Instead, he FAT SHAMED me and brought me exactly what I said I did not want. He brought me a "sundae shooter". I have never felt so disgusting and ashamed in my entire life. And that is saying a lot simply because I was bullied as a kid for being "fat". Thanks Christian for making me feel terrible. Oh ya, and at the end of all the tears and felling shamed, we were charged for it! Thanks Applebee's!

Applebee's bar

Service was good at first but then bartender left out of no where and I was waiting for 20 minutes or more to order more things. One of the drinks I ordered they didn't have enough of the alcohol for it but still made the drink and still charged me the same amount I would with a full drink, it was water downed and only tasted like soda. After the first watered down drink I waited another 10 minutes to be asked if I wanted another one. I come to this restaurant every week on Thursday usually and spend over $60 a night.

Applebee's terrible service from the bartender if that's what you can call her and the food was just as bad

Worst experience ever bartender should not be behind the bar and or in the restaurant business, if you can't stay off your phone or stay away from other employees talking about whatever instead of first take care of your customers for very good tip or no tip at all should not matter you're in the hospitality business.The food was just as bad we started out with you pick two combo mozzarella sticks were but wings we ordered mild and come out clearly barbecue and then tossed in mild sauce trying to cover it up. Sent the wings back not even 30 seconds later here comes the next batch the bartender says I'm so sorry I grabbed the wrong ones someone ordered wings that were bbq combined with mild which was a lie clearly. There are four other tables in the entire restaurant two of which we're paying out one eating there entrees and the last table placing their order. No other Wings ever came out to any table or person. The ribs and chicken combo ribs came out burnt with no meat strictly bone and skin burt skin at that. I could clearly tell at first look the ribs as seen burnt with zero meat was not how food should get sent out of the window it should have got caught and never served I had my plate pushed to the side for more than 10 minutes she never asked how our meal was even after walking past two or three times and looking very noticeable my plate was no longer being used even though it was still full with this terrible entree the only questions you can ask is that the very end and that was would y'all like boxes? Really would I like a box? No I would really like to talk to a manager so after 10 years of coming to this restaurant in Florence Alabama Applebee's has made a drastic spiral straight down to the bottom to where we will never go back again

Applebee's bar attendant/ manager.

I walked to Applebee's. To have a few drinks.
While waiting on my cars flat to be fixed.
After 4 beers ...
I was cut off. They never asked if I wanted a menu ... however. Once my car was ready.
I planned to order take out. But was not going to carry 4 plates of food down the street.
After being imbaressed I just paid out.
Leaving no tip. Loretta was very rude.
As well as the manager not even explaining
Why.
I called your service line. Requested bar policy. To be mailed to me.
They explained. They did not have to do that.
I asked for the bar policy to be told to me.
Again. I was told they did not have to tell me.
—as I a postal carrier in the area.
I found this very imbarraaing. And will be contacting professional help to find the bar policy of Applebee's

Applebee's found plastic in my salad

I ordered a few items to go when I got it I ate the salad and found a piece of plastic in it this is disgusting! I am filing a law suit upon you guys! This just makes me sick to my stomach! I am so scared to know what else was in that food or kitchen while they prepared it. I am a valuable customer that goes out to many restaurants every day and I have never ever ever came across such a disappointment. I have attached photos and a video of the plastic in my salad. I am definetly proceeding with this case and complaint! Completely shameful!

Applebee's lack of service

I took my family to east Towne applebees on may 20. It took 15 min to be even noticed for service. The woman that came over Chelsea wasnt even our waitress she just happened to notice we were just sitting there. She took our drinks and then switched with our waitress who acted as if she was somehow inconvenienced by us ordering. Right after she quickly went back to hanging out with her friends the other waitresses and the bartender all standing there talking along with a girl that must be an employee however she wasnt kn uniform . But she knew the place well enough that in plain clothes she was making her own drinks at the bar and going in and out of the kitchen area. Customers meanwhile came in but not one of the gabbing servers nor bartender served them just looked at them and continued talking. One coup pl e even came in and stood at the bar after waiting about 10 min with no service and waited at the bar hoping to get attention and the bartender only noticed them after they finally came up and loudly asked for a beer . Tables were left with plates and leftovers from customers that were gone before we even got there almost as if that server left them that way to not have to sit new customers. These same tables were still sitting that way when we left. Drinks were not refilled infact st one point my daughter sat and purposely slurped her bottom of her cup to get attention of the still invisible server we had. Only waiter I saw working and serving their customers was a young man Luke who was serving pretty much every table but ours and 1 other table. When we arrived there was only 2 tables with people plus us . No silverware and when we asked the other server Male long hair came over slapped down some silverware with some napkins underneath and said sorry were busy even though he wasnt serving anyone and all his tables were not bussed. Customers over and over waited to be seated . Bathrooms were dirty . The manager while was polite and helpful when we complained he still should have taken the time to look like a manager as his shirt wasnt even tucked in just hanging there. I have never seen such terrible service and reading the reviews on this particular restaurant it seems others have stated quite the similar happenings. Maybe it's time a corporate or district manager get control of this restaurant especially seeing as there are so many other food restaurants to compete with in that area.

Applebee's online order and curbside delivery

I placed an order on May 21 and they said it would be done at 8:48 pm. I went to pick up my 2 meals and was told they had no more baby back ribs. The order form said if there was a problem with the order that they would contact me. I never received a phone call and they never brought my meals out. I then had to select something else and all of my other food got cold. When the food got home it was not what I ordered. The order was not only not what I wanted, cold and not what I ordered. I called the restaurant manager who informed me that I was unable to get the money put back on my card because he didn't have access to my information. I didn't want the food and requested that my money be refunded which I was told could not happen. This was the Applebees in Philadelphia PA at 7650 City Line Ave 19151. Applebee's food & service

I don't know if the Davison Michigan Applebees is corporate owned or a franchisee but my wife and I were there Sunday evening and it was quite an experance to say the least. Let's start with the Rap and Hip Hop music so loud you could not talk to each other. I don't know, maybe this is the music you want to attract those who listen to that garbage, but when we sit down to relax and have a meal I DO NOT want to listen to that music and watch the greeter dancing and singing to it! Next, I ordered chicken strips and fries, and they didn't have the fries ready until I finished the chicken 10 minutes later. I asked for them 2 times and was told they are making them.
To make a long story short, I was in business for 35 years, and if I had an investment like this, I would either have some big changes, fire some people, or sell the building and bank the money. I truly dont believe Applebees wants this image, but this is the image I have. Good Luck

Applebee's changing table

The Ames, IA location has removed their changing table, so I guess my family will be forced to go somewhere that can accommodate such a basic need. We have 4 children and have been coming here longer than our kids have been alive, and I even worked here as a teen, so it's very disappointing for Applebees to be so inconsiderate to us and other families with young children.

Applebee's management

We went to Applebee's in Osage beach mo and it was on the high school graduation night. The management made the decision to send home servers before the ceremony let out leaving the 3 servers to fend for themselves with large groups of parties. The employees were AMAZING and worked there butts off to keep everyone happy and we truly appreciated them, but can't understand why management would do that to them. I do hope they commend the staff they stayed and prepare better next year. They did the same thing on prom night.

Applebee's management

Why has management not been replaced yet? I have personally been a witness to one of the black managers sexually and verbally harassing and bullying his employees. It is very unprofessional, unethical and cynical of him. I overheard one of the employees saying something about him selling or using drugs there. Must explain why he operates the business very thug like. No offense to anyone of any particular color but the way he operates the business is unacceptable and has been ongoing for years. When will corporate or law enforcement take action instead of turning a blind eye?

On one visit, I noticed a employee had dropped a sandwich bag ball that looked like dried up broccoli but figured it was probably marijuana. One of the managers came out and found it and gave it back to the employee.

Also, isn't it wrong to downgrade your employees? Especially after the same black manager used the phrase "ting ting" towards a employee. I had to google to find it what it meant and found out that it means [censored].

Applebee's manager issues

Yes, I work for Applebees at 7515 Goodman Ed, Olive Branch MS. I just started there and there have been a mix-up already. One of the other host Rahnada, yesterday asked me to switch shifts for today and I said only if our manager tells me that it would be okay, well Emanuel the head manager never said anything to me when I tried contacting him about it he didn't answer at all. So our other manager Andy, which is an amazing manager, told me to be at work at 5pm, so that was the original plan. Well this morning I tried to get in contact with Emanuel about the schedule, still no contact. So the host ended up working my shift tonight. I went to Andy and come to find out he wasn't even told by Emanuel about my hours being changed to morning shift today so that made me miss work today. Andy should be in charge of that location due to him actually being good at communication skills with the employees and getting things done the right way and as best as he can. He does a way better job than Emanuel. Also Haley the bar tender/waitress shouldn't have called me out on the situation in front of our guests that were eating. That was very inappropriate. She isn't in charge so she had no business being rude when I was told by a manager to be in at another time. Emanuel needs to start communicating with Andy about situations like this one because he had no idea what was going on and thought that me and Rahnada were just taking off work for no reason all due to lacking communication

Applebee's daryl-manager

I will never go back to this restaurant as long as this manager is still employed. I have never experienced such a miserable, hateful, more angry man in a customer service role! I witnessed him belittling his staff in front of everyone. The whole time we were there he looked like he would rather punch people in the face than serve them a meal! We felt like cattle being herded in and pushed out. He sat us at our table and threw the menus down without smiling once or saying a word! We were shocked by his demeanor so we kept watching him as we ate. This man needs help-like mental help. I would never allow myself or my kid to work there or be treated this way. Ever. I almost stopped him to tell him as we left about what an awful atmosphere he is creating, but my husband thought this "Daryl" guy might cause a scene if confronted. Seriously?! And this was on Mother's Day! We would have had a better time at Mc Donalds! He needs to be FIRED. ASAP. Unbelievable.

After reading other reviews, I'm realizing that our experience at Applebees is pretty common. Worst Mother's Day dinner ever. And I'm still upset over how we were treated from the time we walked in the door by the manager. It's sad that apparently his anger and horrible behavior towards customers and his STAFF is acceptable at this restaurant! Most of the girls working in there looked as if they wanted to cry. But, if this is the norm at Applebees, I don't want to witness it again. Absolutely disgusting.

Applebee's applebees on central and camelback rd

My husband and children wanted to take me to eat for Mother's Day so I decide to call ahead and see how long the wait was, the hostess had told me there was no wait. I was about 10min away and as we showed up she said it was a 20min - 30min wait and i was ok to wait. After 30 minutes I ask the hostess if the table is ready and rudely she tells me that it's not that it's gonna be another 5min, after 10min I asked if the table was ready and still very rudely she tells me they are cleaning it up it will be another 5 min, again I wait and still nothing so I asked the hostess about 2 open booths and she tells me she can't sit us there because the server has too many tables already, that they are almost done cleaning our table and the cooking crew is fast so we will get our food fast anyways, which was a lie. Once we were seated we seen so many tables open and the cleaning crew had no sense of urgency. After another 30 min or longer of waiting we finally received our food. Overall it was a horrible experience.

Applebee's both

My daughter took 4 of us out to dinner for Mother's Day. The host was terrible. After I refused to sit in a no window treated booth we were finally seated. 20 minutes later after waitress took our drink order we got our drinks. 1 of our sweet teas tasted like soap. 20 minutes later waitress takes our order. Appetizer was great. 2 steaks were ordered. They received them undercooked. My loaded baked potatoes was not cooked all the way . Even the cheese on it was not melted. All 4 of us agreed. No more Applebees.

Applebee's coworkers

I witnessed the Westside Applebee's employee's in Hamilton, Oh smoking weed outside the work. There have been so many times where I come in and workers would look high as hell and [censored] our order up. I only come for the food and I'm tired of taking my kids around this. I would like to see someone give these worker drug test and check their background information because this has gotten out of hand.

Applebee's the applebee’s near my home should been taken over by someone else or closed down

I have been going to Applebee's since my children were little, they are 28 and 30 years old. The past 1-2 years my husband and I have tried to have dinner there, once no one ever walked us to a table or bring our drinks or sliverware. Once we went in the whole smalled like spilled liquid old, the floors were dirty, the booth seat was dirty the tablet was sticky and dirty. The whole place seemed dark and dirty. This restaurant does not live up to your tv commercials so stop the commercials in Madison Wisconsin or fix up that restaurant it is gross
