Apple emoji update discrimination

Please explain why there is no emoji for military service members? Is this blatant discrimination against the military?

In the latest update we see non-binary gender fluid emojis, a yo-yo, "pinching fingers" etc..
Yet there still is no representation for those who give their lives in the service of their country, who are willing to do the things that the general population cannot do or simply turns a blind eye to.
But hey, we have a yo-yo now!

Apple missing iphone 11 in shipment

A few days before Christmas I received two separate boxes from A.I. in Carlyle, PA (an Apple fulfillment center) via UPS Next Day. One order was complete, the second was missing the iPhone 11 itself. The shipment with the missing phone included the white box, earphones, charger and cord...but no phone.
The sales order # is [protected]; the delivery number is [protected]; the Web Order # is W533521494.
Comparing the two shipping boxes, neither appeared to have been tampered with, except that the white box with the missing phone had not been tucked under the clear film used to stabilized it during shipment. I take that as a sign that the phone had been left out or taken out during packaging.
The missing phone's serial number (taken from white box) is GONZPR5KN72R. It was a model A2111.
The orders were address properly to Thomas M. Knobel, phone [protected], at 84 South Main St., Homer, NY [protected].
Both phones were purchased using American Express Memebership points and the order was placed with Apple through them.

Apple apple activation

My sister and I have been on the phone 6 times this week trying to reactivate her IPAD and because she cannot remember her ID they cannot (will not?) help. I understand that it was suppose to be a safeguard against theft but this is insane. This an old IPAD bought by one sister and given to another sister. We are trying our best to acertain that it belongs to her but they want a proof of purchase...who keeps a receipt that is 10 years old. This is harder than changing info by phone with a bank. Apple may think that this is customer service but it's far from what should be expected from such a big company. My sister is so discouraged that she is going to just chuck this ipad and to to Samsung.

Apple applecare+

I bought two ipone XSmax phones in November of 2018. At the time of purchase I also bought the apple care+ for both phones at $9.99 a month each. This payment was automatically taken out of my account every month. Apparently the service was canceled in May. I was not aware of this until I brought one of the phones to Best Buy for repair and they advised I had no coverage. They said that it was possible that it was due to a change in the account in which the payment was being taken out of. I did get a new card in which I updated the payment information on. I did also receive an email indicating that I needed to update my payment information which I did on multiple occasions. I was not made aware that the account canceled and now I am stuck with a phone that barely works. I called your support line to see if I can get the Apple Care+ reinstated and I was advised that since it's been more that 60 days I can not and that I am stuck with a broken phone and there is nothing that can be done. I am a long time customer of Apple and so are my kids and my whole family. I have never had to use the apple care+ before and now that I need it I can't. I paid for the service for 7 months before it was cancelled.
Please reinstate my coverage so that I can continue to support Apple by buying and using their products.
Thank you.

Apple Iphone

To whom it may concern
I have an iPhone XR that I got as an update from Rogers about 3 months ago. This phone has been nothing but trouble the past 3 weeks. I've had intermittent issues with my phone with dropped calls along with issues with receiving and sending SMS text and emails. I have issues with my Yahoo and finally issues with my speaker on my phone.
I have gone to the Apple Store on August 11, 2019 to find out what was wrong with my phone and they could not help me as they could not see anything wrong with my phone.
I keep having problems with the phone since then and decided to contact Apple Support. This was a total waste of time. The first call the tech told me how to run a diagnostic from my phone which ended up taking more than 45 minutes and I got no results from the tech. I called again and spoke to Austin and wasted another hour and never accomplished anything. The case number is [protected].
Can you kindly look into this problem as it's becoming a real nuisance. My wife and daughter both have iPhones XR and have absolutely no problems. Can you please replace this phone. I've had iPhones since the iPhone 3 came out and never had problems.
Please advise!

Thanking you
Antonio Paolucci

Apple poor service

Make an appointment with Technician to look at the apple watch because it does not come on only Apple sign just keep coming on and off. When I arrived at the store they told me sorry the Technician does not work today. The salesman said he can fix it after 30 minutes I told him please stop because I can see he does not know what he is doing. He said I must go to the other shop, arrived there wait 30min because they are busy. He looked at it and said the watched is not charge I told him it was charges he said then he must phone someone to assist after 4 people he still don't know what to do. He said I must go to an apple store I said no I bought this watch from Vodashop so you must fix it. After one hour he said he will try to sent it to Nelspruit maybe they will help. I sent message to the Manager from Vodacom Lydenburg and all he can say is sorry. This is an expensive watch and now nobody wants to assist. Poor service from a Manager.

Apple apple watch series 3 mtey2ll/a

I purchased this Apple Watch for my wife as a Christmas present on December 11, 2018. It was purchased on line from Best Buy order number BBYTX-[protected]. The purchased price was $279.00. I did not give it to her till Christmas and she did not start to set it up until a couple of months ago. When she was reading the set up instructions she noticed on page 5 of 5, of your instructions, in small print "Not intended for use by people under 22 years old or those who have been previously diagnosed with atrial fibrillation". That is why I purchased it for her, from an advertisement on it to monitor heart rate and pulse. She experienced an Atrial fibrillation on 4/5/2018. I tried to return the watch to Best Buy but they would not take it back because it had been past their return time limit. They offered me a trade in value of $75.00. The reason I am writing you on this matter is that I think the disclaimer of who should not use this device is not only the responsibility of Best Buy but first by Apple to put a warning that could be seen at the point of purchase and train the retailer to notify the customer before purchase. I hope this will help you correct this disclosure to future customers that purchase this item and then not be able to use it. Also to not promote this as a health related device without the warning, if that is in fact a hazard to your customers.
Thank you,
Bill Walker

Apple program some iphone updates, no warnings

I use my Iphone for a web business setup requires images to forward to a business app
Your programmers keep changing save image button and now does not work or at least the same. This is done with no notice. I was in process of forwarding a business completion task Saturday July 27th, sent 1 image, phone locked up, power dn and up, I can not now get to galley pictures. July 24th, again no warning, phone locked up
For several months now the save image icon was the first one to the left, this day it moved to the right, I had to scroll to the right to find the button.

Several months ago you changed it that everything had to go to the icloud. several weeks later you changed it back to use the save image button. Again no warning

Can you please find a way and bring Steve Jobs back, he made the use of apple phones stable.

I still have not figured out a way to send my business images the way I have done for almost 2 years. If I can not find a way soon, I will be calling you.

Apple iphone and apple software

I am a longterm Apple supporter and customer, who thought Apple always stood by their product until yesterday. I was extremely frustrated and upset with my Apple support yesterday when I was told that I had a "perfectly good" Iphone but there was an internal software issue that was unable to be fixed. My apple care had expired all but 9 days ago so my only options were to buy a new phone if I wanted to be able to make phone calls again. I don't understand that the software error came out of my pocket, when there was nothing I had control of. I had always found that Apple supported their product and made sure to assist a customer if there was a software error rather than a customer error. I am upset that just after paying off my original iphone I had to go and purchase a brand new one, price in full. On top of my frustration the new Iphone I was given took 2.5 hours to boot up and turn on and it was almost returned to give me a new one because of how slow the device was working. I spent nearly 4 hours of my day at Apple only to be told I had to spend $1000 to have a phone that lets me make phone calls. As a customer I would hope apple would stand by their product and their software. The new iphone should be on Apple's dime and not on the customer since it was a software problem.

Apple product not operable, as per advertising

To Whom it may concern:

My name is Suzanne Gryspeerdt. I am registering this complaint for my brother, Robert Gryspeerdt whom is an avid Apple customer.
The complaint is as follows: Robert Gryspeerdt traded in his Apple watch and got 110.00 rebate towards a new Apple watch on December 1' 2018. Total price USD 695.71. Six months later, after in a pool for 20 minutes, no swimming, just handing out, the screen would not power on, although the watch purchased promotes shallow water activities. I was given the watch to return on my trip to Florida, and was told he now has limited warranty; equally more time and money being flushed down the toilet because no immediate resolution as we live in Trinidad, so warranty becomes mute shortly. We now have to wait 5-7 business days to get it repaired, we both will be off US mainland, so can only be picked up upon our return, or whomever we can get to pick it up with no guarantee that it can be repaired; this is over 600 USD later.

The complaints, annoyances are as follows:

• Having to make an appointment in the first instance, after taking our money, and to add insult to injury we are long standing Apple customers and no accommodation made for not being based in the US, so no support services available for immediate resolution.
• Long repair times for Apple gadgets, and
• Unexpectedly expensive costs for fixing Apple devices. We were told upon delivering the watch for repair it could cost 400 to 500 USD to fix.

In all, we want our money back, do not care to get the watch back; bad experiences with Apple watches.

The information is as follows:

• Purchase: December 1' 2018: Serial number: FH7XQOS3KDTD
• Repair info: 00559-[protected]
• Confirmation number: NZ5G34M8

We would like an immediate response to this issue, with the hope of a full refund.

We now await your reply.

Regards,
Suzanne Gryspeerdt [protected]

Apple apple watch

I sent a 1st generation watch to apple for diagnostics due to a red exclamation mark would show up when trying to operate watch. The first time sending in watch I received an e-mail stating they were sending the watch back with explanation. I called customer service representative and they stated that e-mail was wrong and that they had to close one case number then open another. Well the watch was back in my hands the next day. Opened the box tried to start the watch and still the watch was displaying the exclamation mark when trying to operate. Called apple again spoke with Customer service rep 2 and explained they sent back the watch with the same issue. This customer service rep stated that he doesn't understand why they sent back the watch but he would arrange for me to send the back and escalate a force replacement. Long story short I sent the watch back and the very next day I receive an e-mail stating they sent back the watch with an explanation attached. I received the watch back with no explanation to what transpired and when tried to operate watch the exclamation mark appeared again. I then called Apple for the 3rd time speaking with a Tom who told me he is the highest I could go and he will get to the bottom of the situation. He said he will follow the watch from the time it gets to Apple and he will give me a call to let me know if they can fix it or not. He said if they cannot fix it he wants to make the wrong that happen to me right and he will put in for a forced replacement for a new apple watch the current generation because they don't make the 1st generation any longer. Well, needless to say I received an e-mail stating they would be replacing the 1st generation watch with another 1st generation watch. Huh? didn't Tom tell me he would call me to let me know what will transpire with the watch? Didn't he say he wanted to make the wrong right and if it needed to be changed he will upgrade the watch? Yes he did. But he did none of that. So I called and I have my phone call escalated to a customer service manager Catherine. She listened to my case and I asked her to review my conversations with Apple since I knew that they state they do record conversations. She said that she will have to talk to her manager to have the recorded phone call reviewed. Of course days later I speak to her and she tells me they were unable to review my phone calls. How convenient? Apples Customer Service is disgusting and I personally will never buy another product of theirs. You can't tell a customer one thing and do another. Why record if you can't retrieve conversations? Is that a tactic to scare the customer? Recording benefits the company as well as the customer. This was handled so poorly. Not to be expected from a company who's products are not cheap and with such a huge reputation.

Apple 3 years of lost pictures from iphone and icloud

My name is Karen Hazelett, and I've been and Apple Customer for many years.

I contacted Apple Support about more storage space so that I could down load music and the agent I spoke to by in December 2018 gave me damaging information that I later came realized, first week of January 2019, deleted 3 years of valuable photos that I later was told by other agents, after hopping my pictures could be restored, that i could not get my pictures back. I was and is still heartbroken over this error the Apple support agent instructed me to do. I'm not only upset about the competencies of the agent but all I received for this MAJOR ERROR was an "i'm sorry", from every other agent I spoke to in my efforts to somehow regain my pictures! Unfortunately, "i'm sorry" does not give me back my 3 years of memorable events and vacations with my family and love ones! I am still hurt by loosing my pictures without being offered any form of compensation, to show sympathy towards the customer for a horrible mistake that was made by Apple Support. I feel that I should be compensated in some way and it's the right thing to do.I can be contacted at [protected]@bellsouth.net.

Thank you.

Apple iphone xs max

I dropped my iphone xs max at the toilet for 10 seconds and I got my device damage by water. It should be water resistente, shouldn't it? My phone was with a protective case and got damage by water! On a toilet! I won't pay $600 +txs to repalece it! Is manufacturer problem. At the genius bar the manage told me that my phone was water damage. How this happened with a phone that was supose to be water resitent "iphone xs and iphone xs max are splash, water, and dust resistant and were tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of ip68 under iec standard 60529 (maximum depth of 2 meters up to 30 minutes)." as says at the website! This was the first time that I dropped or spill liquid on my iphone and sttoped working! I'm very upset and mad with this! It is a manufacturer problem, apple!

Apple apple store in danbury connecticut

On January 5th, I brought my phone in because I could not hear the caller when they spoke. I was told that it was a bad ear piece and would cost $150.00 I did not feel that was a good price I thought it was a bit much. I figured for that I might as well order new phone. I went to Verizon store to see what my options were in my plan. While I was there the gentlemen cleaned the phone ear piece. He handed me back the phone and said have a good day my phone works great. Apple is a rip off and they don't care about the customer just about money. They give you no paper work saying it is unnecessary and that there is an open work order if I would like to come back and fix the phone. We are a full apple household however after this incident I will reconsider your product

Apple beats solo 2 headphones

I don't know how old my head phones are but am a bit disappointed in the fact that the headphone part has all come unstuck? See photos bellow. Other than that there brilliant but don't know what you can do to sort it? There not able to be used so they need fixing or new one don't know what the policy is for it but they need sorting. Would of thought a company that size would be able to sort it out!

Apple search engine

Was prompted to update this morning. Can't update. Apparently Apple is sabotaging this App. They must be losing out to Duckduckgo. Those Communists are such sore losers. Please let me know how else i can update Duckduckgo? Or there is actually no update and it is only that Apple is trying to force consumers to use Google...? Many of us flatly refuse to use Google!

Apple iphone 6s

I visited the Apple Store with 2 iPhone 6s. I spent 2 hours at the store and maybe that wouldn't have been so bad if I would have actually been helped! I had my daughter's iPhone 6s looked first because the screen suddenly went blank and it would not charge or do anything. They had no explanation as to what the problem might be.

The second phone was my iPhone 6s. My battery showed it was charged to 100% but as soon as I disconnect it from it's power source, the phone would turn off. The technician said it wasn't the battery because it was charging so it must be something else. She offered to sell me another iPhone 6s for $300. I couldn't afford that. So, a few days later I decided to take my phone to a local iPhone repair store. And, guess what? IT WAS A FAUTLY BATTERY!. The battery in my iPhone was swelling, you could actually see it on the side of my phone how the screen was raised because of the battery swelling! I was told that it was a good thing that I brought the phone in because it could have caught fire or exploded! The repair store replaced the battery in my phone and now it works perfectly!

I'm so annoyed that I WASTED my time at the International Mall Apple Store! I will NEVER go to this store again nor will I refer anyone!
