Anytime Fitness Rob Sanderson/Owners at Anytime Fitness is a THIEF!

Rob Sanderson ran and operated an Anytime Fitness club out of Okotoks, AB but apparently wasn't paying his rental lease! The club SHUT DOWN OVERNIGHT and he disappeared (even though they were actively signing up new members the day before)! I sent multiple text messages to Rob and was "reassured" I would get my pre-paid fees back. After not hearing anything further, I called ABC Financial direct. While understanding, they were unable to help and suggested I contact Rob Sanderson. Yep, I tried that! I've now either been blocked or he's flat out ignoring everyone.
Apparently this isn't the first time he's done this! How is he allowed to keep screwing people? And why does Anytime Fitness Corporate keep allowing him to own franchises?
I want my money back!

Anytime Fitness unauthorized credit card charge

I cancelled my gym membership a few hours after signing up late January and was assured I would not be charged anymore. I was charged last month and contacted the gym who assured me it would be taking care off. I now have another charge on my credit card in the amount of $ 57.94 on my card. Please correct the issue so I don't have to file a fraud complaint.

Anytime Fitness overall

This club located in Winnipeg, St Anne's Road has a few issues;
Owner and his Son, owner does not seem to be friendly toward suggestions, ways to improve, the don doesn't seem to care about anything, just the pay Cheque! The don pretends to clean, the washrooms are filthy, change area compartments have dust balls. The main door Matt is never changed, same Matt for weeks, ringing wet! Customers are not monitored for changing shoes upon entry ! It's been noticed that customers swipe in friends!

Overall it's not a happy environment! There are 2 major gyms opening in spring close by from which I know many will be leaving Anytime due to this current mi managed gym! I would suggest a mystery customer visit to review this establishment before the remaining members leave!

Anytime Fitness outdated and broken equipment

Hello to whom it may concern

My husband and I are members at Anytime Fitness, and have been for 8+ years. The gym we belong to is clean, and the employees are very nice. However, over the past several years there has been limited if any updates made to the equipment. Specifically the cardio equipment. There are 2 elliptical trainers that continue to have problems, and even after several times of having them fixed, they continue to have issues ad yet to be replaced. There has been 2 weeks that have gone by, where these 2 machines have had issues with them and have NOT been addressed. These machines are always in use, so they are in high demand. WIth that being said, they should be well taken care of, and maintained to a degree that is acceptable to us members that use them daily. Approximately 2 weeks ago, both machines had issues and were reported. One of the machines is only the TV out, which doesn't not impact use of the machine, but still should be addressed. The other one is a physical safety hazard, the footplate is loose and shifts as you move. Both issues have been reported, at the time the issues came up. These machines still have no signs on them, saying that they are in the process of being fixed or even acknowledgment that they (owners) have called to have maintenance called. In speaking to other members, they have reported the same issue. My husband and I use this gym 6 days a week, and again have been members since 2011. The owners of this facility, also have 2 other facilities in the Reno area that I have personally visited, and are better maintained and updated than this older facility. I would appreciate it if Anytime Corporate would address this issue with the owners. We are not the only members that find this lack of attention to long time members and the equipment/facility we pay to use frustrating. There are several of us that have complained, but the issues continue.

Anytime Fitness broken equipment & general cleanliness

So many broken pieces of equipment. E.g. levers you're raise & lower benches are broken off. Benches remain in position they were in when lever broke and it's not in a flat position. 2 treadmills are broken. Customer reported to management 2 weeks ago! Restrooms are dirty, plain & simply. Soap dispenser in 1 that know does not work properly. Equipment never wiped down and therefore filled with dust, hair, etc. it's so disgusting!

Anytime Fitness unprofessional and unethical

I have been charged Every month for six months after canceling my membership. It's been 18 months and I signed a 12 month contract. I signed the right paper work to cancel. Talked to Donna who wasn't helpful but she was very respectful. I begged Amanda to help resolve the situation for six months. There were many people who called me well over 100 times from anytime fitness in Monticello. I had to cancel my card because they wouldn't stop charging me. Then they called and said they would turn me into debt collectors if I didn't pay. I just paid again today. I'll probably be charged again in December. I did ask that they started keeping detailed notes when we talked and I hope you can view that because they were harassing me and legally they were out of contract I wasn't. I am desperate I left a bad review on Facebook and Amanda had her close friend leave a five star review two hours later. Just look at the Facebook page. How can I stop any time fitness from calling and harassing me when I'm the one doing the right thing and they are being unethical. She deleted my Instagram reviews and blocked me from Facebook how can someone help me not get my money stolen again in December?

Anytime Fitness cancel plan

I canceled my plan as I was in an abusive relationship and was beaten and my back is ruined and my kids and I were taken to a homeless shelter and asked to cancel my contact as I am unable to go and we have lived away! I assumed it was handled and on october 8th 52.49 times 2 was taken from my account! I am a single mom struggling and want my money back and will be putting a stop payment on my card to avoid any further charges

Anytime Fitness manager/cancellation

My one year contract expired and I wished to cancel the month to month service. After numerous attempts to contact the manager, his name is Rodney I believe, I finally got him on the phone. I got instructions from him how to proceed with the cancellation since I couldn't physically do it at the time. After sending the email with a copy of my ID that he requested, he NEVER responded OR cancelled my membership. I did a stop payment with my bank and I was STILL somehow being charged. I went into the place and filled out the cancellation form personally but the guy there said the manager would have to make my account inactive, he couldn't do it. I let him make a copy of my ID and left my name and phone number and he assured me the manager would call me the next day to ensure this had been taken care of. The manager never called and again didn't return any of my calls or emails. I looked at reviews of this particular location and I lost count of how many people left bad reviews because of not being able to get anyone to answer the phone or emails. This guy is purposefully ignoring me and keeping my account active and it's ridiculous. I followed instructions for the locations cancellation policy and am still being charged.

Anytime Fitness enhancement fee.

What happens with the enhancement fee? How come every time the enhancement fee, the owners go on a trip or a cruise. The money should go into the club but it doesn't, no new equipment just the owners going on vacation.
I need an address or contact info for the Corporate Office so that they can look into this. These people are running the gym into the ground.

Anytime Fitness unethical/ unprofessional behaviour

I just would like to formal report my complaint about my experience with this facility today ( Tues, Oct 10th, 1:35 PM) Facility: Minnehaha
I just moved to the neighborhood and looking for some membership information, regardless of trying to explain to the person on the other side of the phone about me being busy and trying to get the best time to meet up. The person in charge simply ignore my request and was unbelievably rude and after telling me over the phone " Sorry buddy, I don't have time for you" He literally hung up on me. Even despite all my effort to try to explain to him about my schedule and trying to get the best time to come and see the gym. Too bad I will have to go and choose a big gym, bc an unprofessional, unprepared and ignorant person.

Anytime Fitness anytime fitness staff and so called policy

I went to anytime fitness golf corse branch for membership.when I asked about trial for one day they ask me for money or prebook which was shocking because none of the gym demand such way. Even not gym like fitness first.before that I drop my number at anytime fitness for membership none of the sales person contact me.
I have the worst experience with anytime fitness and I will not recommend to anyone

Anytime Fitness management rude behaviour

I wanted to freeze my annual membership and I asked a couple of times to the management for their official email address where I am supposed to send an email requesting to freeze my membership but no one responded. My membership is wasted for almost 32 days now.
At the time of enrolment I wasn't given any merchandise which they are supposed to give to their club members.
I am out of town nowadays and will take action legally when I return.

Anytime Fitness club membership

I cancelled my daughter's membership in mid May of 2018, turned her key in the day the membership was cancelled. They explained to me that I would still have to pay June 2018 membership fee, well they have charged me every single month now for 14 months. I have been into the gym now 5 different times and told "we are very sorry this will not happen again next month, this is an issue we have all the time and we are very sorry.". .. I did not demand a refund at that time, but now 14 months later and still taking out of my account is ridiculous. The location in Muscle Shoals is now closed and I was told that someone would call me on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd after Labor Day and take care of refunding me what I am owed. I have not received a phone call and if someone does not step up, I have no other choice but to take it a step further and involve the court.

Anytime Fitness transfer of membership

My name is Mohit Wadhwa and I am a member of Anytime Fitness Dwarka sector 7, New Delhi-110075. I bought membership along with my 7 other colleagues bought membership in January 2019, So overall group of 8 people. At the time of paying for membership we all were informed that our membership is transferrable however there will be a transfer fee of around 2000 INR. I see the same is mentioned in the terms and conditions.

Santosh Gawas has been transferred to Mohali in Punjab and now wanting to transfer my membership to Deep Sharma. He has sent multiple e-mails to Dwarka sector 7 branch however the membership is not being transferred. I have spoken to multiple people in the gym face to face as well as over the phone but nothing has been done so far.

There were 2 other colleagues Ashish Verma and Monica who have already transferred their membership to Jitendra Singh and Pankaj Hundre. I am not able to understand why there is this extreme delay here when other were done so swiftly.

I am very frustrated with this entire process as it have been more than 1 month that I am chasing for membership to be transferred. I request your help and intervention to get membership transferred to Mr Deep Sharma. I would request to check how many calls and follow ups me and Santosh have done.

Request Anytime Fitness to transfer membership without any further delay.
I have also requested other Gym members to step up and help resolve this issue.

Anytime Fitness Membership

I joined a year ago. I discussed and signed a year long contract. About six months in, I had a severe back injury and I went in to speak to them about canceling my membership. At that time I was told that I could not cancel early unless I paid a $50 fee plus an additional month at $35, even with the doctor's note.
Totally frustrated, I opted to freeze my membership for 3 months and I turned in my key fob. (The lady I had been speaking to answered a phone call and continued to talk while I was sitting there waiting, after 8 minutes I left. I never heard back.
My membership was never frozen. I had sent several emails asking when my freeze was over and no one answered me finally a guy answered my email and told me I was welcome to return whenever I was ready. This made me curious so I asked when the actual date was that the freeze ended. It was only then that he admitted that it was never frozen. I was told I would be reimbursed for the three months that it was supposed to be. I was never reimbursed for the three months.
I went in to pick up another key fob and told the new manager what had happened and she said she would look into it and get right back to me, that never happened.
I asked when my membership was up and she told me it was up in September. I told her then I would be canceling my membership and I left.
I recently tried to submit my membership cancellation and was told that I still had another year. At this point I was extremely frustrated with all of the nonsense I had already been through. Once again I shared my doctor's note with her and she said I could go ahead and cancel. (Why the hell couldn't this have happened 6 months before when I requested it!) This is infuriating!
Now I have been in twice at the times she said she would be there and she was not there (so that I could sign the papers)
I asked her a total of five times to just have the papers there and ready and I would swing by when I could because my hours of work were very similar to hers. She never did this.
The second time I went in looking for her at the time she specified and she wasn't there, I left my key fob there.

What kind if business is this?! I am copying this email and I am prepared to be posting it on every social media outlet, yelp, and my local community pages.

I would like to receive a refund for the last 6 months that my membership should have been cancelled and that is including the 3 months it was supposed to be frozen!

Anytime Fitness wrong accusation

I am suraj kumar and i was a member of Anytime fitness RDC raj nagar ghaziabad. Sir i want to inform you that i was terminated with my 3 friends from the gym due to wrong accusation. On 1st august 2019 we are in the yoga class in the evening from 7pm to 8pm and we are laughing with all the members in the yoga class but some women or girl thought that we are misbehaving but this is not true as you know that there is no restriction or boundation to laugh in any gym due to this the gym owner terminated our membership. Sir i requested you to check and figure out all the things that was happen in the yoga class on 1st august 2019 after that you will take any decision if we found guilty then you will terminate our membership but if not then you have to take serious action to the gym anytime fitness rdc raj nagar ghaziabad.

Anytime Fitness fitness

Anytime fitness mission British Columbia. I went to renew my membership tonight I found my old fob from when I moved I purchased a new fob when I purchased a new membership I was told that I could return my old fob and they would credit my next membership. I went there tonight they didn't resolve it I was treated wrongly the girl was horribly rude stating she was in the water and for me to come get my money and fob and I'm not allowed back. It's because I complained several times but the The gym equipment is left dirty and noons is ever there on time or to help answer a question or ever gets back to you regarding one.

Anytime Fitness lack of knowledge for having competition

I siddharth sethi member of above mentioned branch on 24/05/2019 a competition of tug of war was held so badly it was organised that it resulted in complete tear of my acl. Tug of war was held in that way on one side of mine there was 6 people were pulling the rope and on other side there were 7 people. For all this incidence I have video as proof. I have already complaint regarding this on ur website. I need compenstation from your side.

Anytime Fitness owners unethical behaviour

This happened about 2 weeks ago. My husband had stopped into see me at the Anytime Fitness Gym to see when I was going to be home.
The owners noticed he had come to see me. They then hadn't seen me at the gym in awhile so they asked my daughter in-law at her place of business what was happening between me and my husband. They never once came and approached me of the incident.
My daughter in-law then asked my son what was going on, then of course my son then came to me and what was happening. The owners told her that they were thinking of banning him from the premises.
I have since then had words with the one of the owners and have quit the gym and cancelled my membership. The circumstances caused by this did almost cost me my marriage.
