Unsafe / unsanitary room, lack of response, lies
Original complaint sent on 9/25/23: Booked stay for 9/23/23 - 9/24/23. Check-in was ok but all down hill from there. Hallway to the room was filled with trash. False check-in information
I booked a room with this hotel directly because I did not want any issues with the accommodated check-in time requested. This all started from me needing to get my driver a [protected]@ 5am but we needed the room until at the latest 4pm today. I informed Christine of my situation and she assured me that that could be worked out so she booked the room &game me the confirmation #1709 but never emailed me the official reservation. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that she didn't until we had an issue this morning when the driver arrived and was refused to be able to check-in. The male clerk on duty started out not being abrasive with my driver about the situation instead of listening he was more focused on trying to be right. He then had the wrong information as far as the reservation but wanted to argue about the wrong reservation. Needless to say he didn't stay there and was able to find another hotel to allow him to get some rest for the hours needed. I'm glad that he kept being aggressive about the situation because they don't even have enough staff to clean the rooms so that worked because after all of that the room could have been not clean. I'm also glad that she never actually charge me for the room so it seems like she didn't know what she's doing.They also need help to keep the property clean, because that's what he also mentioned that even if they would help him with the early check-in he didn't have a clean room for [protected]@5am, that sounds ridiculous.
Desired outcome: I just want to put it on notice that this property needs some more training as far customer service, policy and respect towards the customers.
Overcharged for a stay at a Best Values Inn & Suites Downtown St Louis
I stayed at the Americas Best Values Inn & Suites in Downtown St Louis on March 18. (Booking ref: 54664SE011717) I had originally booked for two nights but called to say I only needed one night as my travel plans has unexpectedly changed. I was told this was no problem. I would only be charged for one night.
My confirmation letter states the room rate was $125.00. (see below) When checking out this was mysteriously changed to $180. I let it go as I was in a hurry and to be honest, I wanted out. The place was horrible.
I have just checked my bank statement and I have been charged $415.00 for this one night. How is this possible? I have tried emailing the company but their online form does not allow complaints about the St Louis branch. I would like a refund ASAP.

Renee night worker from 3645 North Pan am expressway San Antonio 78219. Opened and used room 236 after a customer already checked out to have sex with me this past Monday. 8/29/22 going into Tues morning. What's worse is now he's not doing his job. On Tues I was put in a new room 237 and remote without batteries, called down. He said he'd attend to it, finally at 230 am I walked down to get batteries after several hours of waiting.. tonight I called down to let them know there's banging coming from room 236. And called several times only to be hung up on. 1st he shouldn't be using the rooms especially to have sex on the clock & fail to do his job. Maybe 2 minute man is embarrassed. Idk but it's unprofessional not to answer the calls of your paying customers that's been paying for over a week now. I wish to file a complaint against this worker and he should be fired for his unprofessional conduct with the customers and using of the hotel rooms to his advantage.
Desired outcome: Rene night shift at 3645 North Pan am expressway should be fired for his unprofessional conduct with guests and rooms.

Terrible Experience
I stayed at the America's Best Value inn on Capitol Blvd in Raleigh NC and I will never go to this hotel again, First of all I was charged $100.00 for a single room,which I can prove, someone else's food was in the refrigerator, the bathroom base boards were disgusting and the television did not work I work hard and go to hotel rooms to relax, but I couldn't wait to go back home, I will never subject myself to this experience again, this hotel used to be a lot better

I was very disturbed when staying there that the head housekeeper is running some kind of illegal prostitution . She literally target construction workers then flirts then does more than give you towels i was disgusted how many in the week I was there she was working it . Very unprofessional i was shocked ! Ceiling fell in on me while taking a shower
I stayed at the value inn 70 Robin hood Dr. Goldsboro pa 17319 room 113 June 4th through 5th and white taking a shower in the morning the ceiling caved in on me from I take it a leak from the room above. I spoke to the manager about it requesting a decent refund due to the safety concerns and the injury I have had and he could've cared less and only gave me 20 off of the room and yelled at me saying I should have told him in the middle of the night. How was I to know this was going to happen and how is it my responsibility to check the ceiling while using the shower. Very poor maintenance done and very poor service and care for the customers. I would like a full refund for the experience I had and the crap falling on me.
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund for the poor maintenance and the poor customer service I received. They could care less if I were injured or not.

I rented a room to go swimming on today may 12 2022 about 4pm and I was told after placing my stuff in my room pool w a s closed because a girl had gonherra and herpes and I read on my phone you can't get it like that and I showed the ladt af the desk and she said I don't understand someone else caught it not even getting in the pool I asked for a refund and was told no at the time I was told bout the diseases I wasn't even here 30 mins at the time I should have been warned ahead of paying for my room instead of being told there's nothing I can do about it

2. The sink faucets wouldn't turn off. You had to mess with them to find a spot where the water would quit running.
3. The light fixture above the sink is so rusted it looks like burnt toast and could literally scrape off the rust. Only 2 of the 3 bulbs were lit.
4. The porcelain was coming off the tub to the point you could see the metal base.
5. The shower head was so rusty and discolored you couldn't tell what kind of water was coming out.
6. The tub faucets were so loose and squeaky so very loud we hen you turned them on.
I definitely wouldn't have stayed had we not prepaid for the room. Especially since they wouldn't apply out AARP discount.
Desired outcome: A total refund would be appreciated.

Americas Best Value Inn - WiFi not working, false advertising
I am a construction worker and have been staying here over 2 wks. The facility has not had working WiFi and manager tells a different story any time asked. False advertising: no guest laundry, no vending machines, no working ice machine at all & NO pool -filled in with dirt . A goat that is not penned up pooping everywhere roams the property freely.

Yes we checked in 2 weeks zgo n noone has offered us a weekly rate n we got very rude service from day one n we didnt get offered for our room to get cleaned not one time n the attendent was very rude everytime we had to ask for towels n rags n garbage bags everyday bv there was none offered n everytime we went to pay she had an attitude everytime n was very .mean about us renting do or another day n we went 5 days w/o tv bc we never could get a remote that worked n we said we was gonna go get another room somewhere eles bc of the way we was getting treated .n she told us go ahead so just saying u need to do something about ur workers n i think we was over charged we had to pay $150 a night bc we had a dog she said

Americas Best Value Inn - Room uninhabitable
We stayed at the Green River Unit on August 4 and 5th. The first thing the toilet was plugged up. Sarah came immediately with plunger and unstopped the toiler, leaving a trail of dirty water and used our bath matt but still a trail of dirty water. Second the air conditioner/heater started and stopped. It didn't really cool just circulated air a little bit; third the remote for the TV did not work and you cannot change the channels manually. ANTS in the bathroom - they used spray ant poison all around bathtub and on floor. We had to walk in it.
BED had a hole (dip) to the middle. We could not sleep because we had to cling to the edge of the bed or we both rolled into the middle hole. Sarah said the box springs had moved and they would fix it. We can back and they had moved it. We laid down and everything under the mattress moved and now the bed had a hole in the middle and dips on one side. We couldn't use the pool because it hadn't been cleaned and pool chemicals were not available.
Sarah and her husband tried to fix these things but it was too much and they did not have maid service which is okay but we needed the linens used to repair the toilet replaced.

We Went on the website and saw pictures of the hotel that looks very nice and comfortable when we arrived at the hotel went into our room the room looked nothing like the picture on the website very displeased and or stay the bed was hard as a rock in the room smelled will never stay at this hotel again. WiFi not working, false advertising
I am a construction worker and have been staying here over 2 wks. The facility has not had working WiFi and manager tells a different story any time asked. False advertising: no guest laundry, no vending machines, no working ice machine at all & NO pool -filled in with dirt . A goat that is not penned up pooping everywhere roams the property freely.
Desired outcome: Fix the problem and give the amenities that are paid for

We booked a room for myself and my 2 young children on priceline. I looked a pictures and reviews and was happy with it. When I walked in to pay for the reservation it smelled disgusting.
