Americas Best Value Inn - items left in room.

I left two items in our room, in the Pacifica location. My husband and I stayed two nights, 9/7 and 9/8. Checking out yesterday morning, 9/9. I left black yoga pants and my Moab T-Shirt. I'm 99% positive they were left on the back of the bathroom door, and 100% in our room. They can keep the yoga pants, but, the T-Shirt has special meaning to me.

I called about 10 minutes ago and the gentleman said they were not in "lost and found". Thing is, I know I left them there. Room 207, which wasn't that quiet in the
morning, Pretty noisy from room 307.

I think this is discouraging on behalf of America's Best Value Inns. After 6 days on the road and 5 nights in hotels. This was the most expensive. Now, I can't even get my clothes back. The gentleman didn't offer to keep checking and call, etc. (I did let
him know I would contact the corporate office and he told me to go right ahead.)
