Americas Best Value Inn hotel room smelled strongly of mold.

After getting the keys to our room we noticed a strong odor of mold. We thought perhaps it was just from the room sitting without anyone in it. We cranked up the a/c and went to dinner. Upon returning from dinner the room still smelled of mold. We decided to stay only one night instead of two. We booked through Expedia and the hotel manager had used this to refuse a refund to us. Expedia was willing to cancel our stay for that second night due to our compliant. The hotel claims there was nothing wrong with the room. My husband and I both woke up feeling horrible the next day with sinus issues. This is a horrible place to stay and clearly customer service does not matter to them. I have lost money because they refuse to refund my money for a night a didn't even stay there.

Americas Best Value Inn customer service house cleaning

My family and I checked in and found blood on bed not sheets.(the mattress)They didn't change our room till the next day after paying full price.also alot of roaches was in room.(224) Then they moved us into room 104 we've here for 2 months. Noticed when it rains water comes in room wets rug and no1 cleans it. As a result of that the bed frame became moist and and full with mildew and caved in and they had us on the floor for 3 nights no compensation.(wooden bed frames)They also moved the lady across from us who's room was full of roaches and bed bugs and have her furniture and belongings in hallway and the insects are coming into our room as well now. The hotel still insists on me paying full price for rent and still hasn't changed our room. I also asked to speak to manager to show pictures and videos I've taken. When I go to front desk they tell me manager is not here. In the picture in hallway that's the lady who belongings it is nowit is 952 PM and it's been 4 days her stuff is out there and she is old along with the bugs. That is a hazard and unsafe.. I'm keeping record of everything and house keeping does not clean daily

Americas Best Value Inn ac not working

Checked in this past Thursday AC has not been working in room at all my girlfriend called the front desk several times asking them if they were going to fix the AC she was told yes it has been submitted to maintenance while after three days of been not fixing it I went to the desk myself and was told not any paperwork or work order or you sure she called the right hotel I have phone logs to prove that she did call them several times and now they are saying oh we ignore request from third parties I'm not a third-party nor is she she was calling on my behalf because I was not able to do to work. Extremely upset that this would happen being told one thing and just blowing off anything that was said I'm in town to work at the power plant and I work from 5 AM to 5 PM so I don't see what the problem was asking my girlfriend to call and tell them how the AC is not working while they were there but they chose to ignore anything

Americas Best Value Inn filthy rooms

The America's Best Value Inn in McMinnville TN is the worst hotel I've stayed at. The hotel itself is dirty and dilapidated. Didn't look anything like the pictures on the website. Got to the room and it was disgustingly dirty. Pop cans and candy rappers stuck behind the bed from the previous guests. An inch of dust on the TV counsel and broken bathroom fixtures. The shower was moldy and there was no towels or tiolet paper in the bathroom. Paid for a double king and the beds are queen or maybe even a full sized. The Best Value Inn in Marion, IL was much nicer and cheaper but after this I will never stay at this hotel chain again

Americas Best Value Inn I have documentation that i’m a aaa member and I was rudely turned away when I went to show I was charged regular rate.

I stay at your facilities quite often. Your staff usually is above and beyond more than helpful. But there's one lady in the morning in particular that is extremely rude and unprofessional and doesn't know how to run front desk of the hotel. Today Saturday, September 14 I went in there to show her that on Thursday night I was charged regular rate for the room. I am a AAA member and I express that to her. She said she needed to see documentation so I went back in there with my AAA membership form not the card and she said she couldn't except that. Now this documentation was a AAA letterhead with my membership number my address my name my signature and the date stamped and she would not except that.She expressed she didn't care about the paper or the membership number she just wanted to see the card. The last four visits I've stayed there I've had the AAA corporate rate for $74.70 with taxes and fees. so I don't understand why she wouldn't give me the refund for my AAA membership specially with documentation and seen that I've been charged the corporate AAA rate last four visits. I hope this escalates to somebody with authority and is able to possibly take care of the refund of my AAA rate and maybe train her a little bit more. My name is Troy Carter my number is [protected] and I'll probably be staying at the facility again within the next week but hopefully or possibility that I can get refunded to the AAA corporate rate . I've had nothing but pleasant things to say about everybody else on staff except her. I appreciate to whoever takes the time to read this and view it. thank you and have a good day.

Americas Best Value Inn front desk clerk /rooms

I have never been more disgusted I get here and there was this man I believe he was the owner super nice gave me my key and talked to me about my service dog I go to my room I wind down lay in bed and I'm starting to get itchy so I turn on the lights and I find two things 1 fleas 2 round small little yellowish rust stains and I so I google it and it says that's bed bugs immediately went to the office and asked for a new room I get the key to my new room and go in there and immediately I smell mold and the carpet were soaked so I just walked out and went to the desk again and get another room I get to the room get in bed turn the tv on and a mouse runs right across the room and my service dog doesn't understand what's going on and im disgusted so I got to the office again and it's a new clerk with a attitude but I remain calm explain the situation and he tries telling me He has to charge me for having the dog let him know he's a service dog and is allowed virtually anywhere and show him his documentation he gets me a new room I go in and there are empty beer cans all over the place there a huge order and the sheets have not been changed at this point I'm irate so I go to the front office for the 5th time and ask if I can just cancel because what has been going on and he's rude and tells me I can cancel but I have to pay the fees which I didn't want to do and when I said what about the fact that the living situations that have been given are not to health code standards and he told me it wasn't his problem so I just get the new room key go in and it had bugs in talking cockroaches and I just walk out and go sleep in my U-Haul I go to get some breakfast and the guy then proceeds to tell me I can't bring my dog in I said sir he's a service dog that would be against his and my rights and he responded with I don't care definitely making a report with the us department of justice, department of Health as well as corporate I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy

Americas Best Value Inn complaint

We have spent 3 days here because our car broke down. We checked in late that evening. That night I noticed the refrigerator wasn't working called desk lady came said it was on wrong setting. It ruined a very expensive bottle of insulin. Told the manager he started yelling and said we could leave hotel. He wasn't paying nothing. They came later that day and replaced the fridge. Which ruined all our food and insulin. The manager was very rude and disrespectful. We had to clean own room. Took out the trash, had to get our own towel and trash bags for 3 days. The toilet leaked and the tub wouldn't drain. Will never stay again at this location. Wouldn't if our car was fixed. Very unacceptable behavior with all staff.

Americas Best Value Inn hotel

I am sad to explain that I feel this hotel does not deserve the right to use the name "America's Best" much less be called a hotel.
All hotels with guest room doors opening to a parking lot should be titled as "motels" for a more clear explaination of expectations of the overnight accomodations.
1. The door lock was broken. 2. One lamp would not turn on. 3. The bathroom had a scent of urine. 4. Only one electrical outlet by the bed was overloaded with plugs and an extension cord for the lamp. 5. I felt the electical outlet near the sink was too close to the sink because there was little to no space provided to set the coffee maker close enough to the outlet to plug in and make coffee. 6. The coffee maker had white particles floating inside the the chute where clean water should be poured to make the coffee. As many times as I rinsed it out, they would not go away. There was also brown powder stuff stuck to the walls of the chute. The coffee maker still had the previous guests used coffee filter inside the maker. 7. With such little space in the bathroom, there should be a cover over the toilet so nothing will accidentally fall inside as you're preparing to bathe. 8. Not all guests require the bathtub stool that was taking up space in the bathroom. 9. We had to flush the toilet a few times up to about a half a dozen times before it flushed entirely. 10. The complimetary breakfast consisted mostly of bread and a small variety of fruits which I could not enjoy because of my sensitivity to gluten and sugars. 11. Upon checkin, the front desk employee made my husband and I very uncomfortable throughout our entire nights stay, with his peculiar behavior seeming unprofessional. He insisted on canceling our reservation in my name through Booking.com while he honored our rate to create a new reservation in my husbands name. My husband was so dissatisfied that he left a review before we had retrieved our bags without staying our second night. 12. When we returned that afternoon our room key card failed to open our room door forcing us to encounter the front desk man again. 13. After we woke him from his afternoon siesta to turn our key card back on, his first words to us were to explain there was nothing wrong with the toilet. He argued with us that we should not have left our negative review.
We were so afraid of his retaliation that we could not gather our belongings from the room fast enough. Neither my husband nor I decided we never want to experience that again!

Americas Best Value Inn one night prepaid stay at this motel

I arrived at 2:20 pm for a 3PM check in on 7/21/2019 and was at first told it would be $20 extra to check in early. (Note 40 minutes early). I said I'd wait, until after 3PM, and she said it would be an hour (3:20 PM) before my room would be ready. There were three *(3) cars in the parking lot at this two-story "hotel" and there wasn't a room ready?

In addition, there was a whole list of rules at the counter for an overnight stay; which are NOT published on Hotels.com nor the website for the hotel itself. I had just driven 3 hours north with no stop and asked to use the restroom in the registration office and was denied. Denied. AND told my room wouldn't be ready for an hour. She said to go pee at McDonald's, which I did. I then called the hotel three times in the next 1/2 hour and got no answer.

When I finally did reach someone, I told them I was not coming back and canceling my reservation. She SWORE at me and said I could not cancel that she had my credit card information. I then said, and promised her, that I would indeed dispute any charge, as I received no service for my payment, and the terms of the contact were not agreed to, as the additional rules and regulations were not spelled out on the Hotels.com website (about water usage and AC temperature and such).

I am demanding a refund of $70.40 from this hotel or hotel chain without further delay.

Americas Best Value Inn items left in room.

I left two items in our room, in the Pacifica location. My husband and I stayed two nights, 9/7 and 9/8. Checking out yesterday morning, 9/9. I left black yoga pants and my Moab T-Shirt. I'm 99% positive they were left on the back of the bathroom door, and 100% in our room. They can keep the yoga pants, but, the T-Shirt has special meaning to me.

I called about 10 minutes ago and the gentleman said they were not in "lost and found". Thing is, I know I left them there. Room 207, which wasn't that quiet in the
morning, Pretty noisy from room 307.

I think this is discouraging on behalf of America's Best Value Inns. After 6 days on the road and 5 nights in hotels. This was the most expensive. Now, I can't even get my clothes back. The gentleman didn't offer to keep checking and call, etc. (I did let
him know I would contact the corporate office and he told me to go right ahead.)

Americas Best Value Inn reservation paid by fraud

My name is Jessica Rodriguez and I am a victim of fraud. The scammers used a prepaid one vanilla card In the amount of $500 to make a reservation at the América best value inn in Wisconsin dells at 3:33pm on 9/7/19. I can provide you with the number of the card and a copy of the receipt which shows that the funds were mine. A police report has been filed and an investigation is underway. Is there a way that these funds can be returned to me? From what I know they made the reservation online but have not checked in to the hotel yet. Americas Best Value Inn the room

No blankets. No heat control in my room. Blood stains on the chair and a broken office chair. As soon as I walked into the room an overwhelming smell of cigarettes filled the room . There were no blankets on either bed and was cold all night. I went and complained and talked to the manager they told me did I call the front desk? Nooo... I checked in at 1am I was expecting to have a decent room for what I paid. I was told that I because i booked with booking .com i couldn't do anything. It was absolutely disgusting and the manager just looked at us like "to bad so sad" horrible experience . Want a resolution now

Americas Best Value Inn hotel manager, room, stay

The manager is as rude as she can be yelling at us that she "just cleaned the lobby" when we tried to get coffee. Smiled and got sarcastic and rude about a surprise rate increase when asked about it, our hotel was raided by the police during our stay, we were clean and quiet and sat and watched drug deals between guests and front desk personnel, our room smelled like sewage half the time and I ended up sick and in the hospital (which will be addressed by an attorney), I had to ask for sheets to change my own bed, if you're a person staying more than a week, which most guests are, you're treated poorly no matter what situation you're in. This is by far the worst place I've ever been to. We have flies and bed bugs infesting our room and now have to check out early and lose money we just don't have. This place added insult to injury to an already crisis situation for us and I have my sixteen year old son with me.

Americas Best Value Inn extreme mold and mildew in our room (room 122)

On 8/18 we arrived around 11:30 pm and was provided room 122. The second I opened the door the smell was overwelming. Like an extremely wet basement. I left the door open for hours and window open over night with a/c on the whole time to try to combat the smell. The walls had black mold on them. When I approached the front desk I was told that the last people who stayed in the room had the same complaint. Huh, and you put someone else in the room without fixing the issue? That's just wrong, and the front desk acted like it was no big deal and did not offer anything to compensate. The carpet was nasty and there was a lot more mold and water damaged walls and wet stained carpet than what I took pic's of. I regret pulling in there that night because of the cheaper rate of $90. I can't put a value on the health risks to my family that this room creates. I am just glad we were not forced to stay there longer than that night. The room should have been condemned until the issues are resolved.

Americas Best Value Inn bed bugs cockroaches same soap same sheets

First off I'd like too say I stay at America's Best Value Inn quite often n haven't had any problems me n a buddy of mine are usually there and stay 3-4 nights every other week, we also get the same room. As we walked in our room yesterday and started too look around I noticed old soap bars on the bathtub were I left them the Las time we stayed, the sheets were the same ones that were on there Las time we stayed as well bc the same exact stains were on them, we've also noticed some bedbugs alot of them spreading everywhere which I addressed too them Las time we stayed n it still wasnt taken care of, what made me upset was as I caught a big bedbug n took it too office too show them they said there was nothing they can do, they couldn't change our room or give us a refund. We are customers who they Kno by name n are usually very kind too us, but until this bedbug problem gets solved n the other things as well we will not be going back too America's best value inn. Americas Best Value Inn cancellation refund request

I cancelled a reservation I had made for this hotel through booking. com and my cancellation was not forwarded to the hotel. The arival date was August 8, 2019. The cancellation was made the around the end of July. I am now being charged as a no show to the tune of $245.55. There was no indication that I needed to cancel with the hotel. The booking service has not been helpful to say the least. There was either a computeror humand error. When I went into my account to cancel it responded that the cancel was done. It does not show in my past bookings account that I even made this reservation. I have had a conversation with the general manager and she said she could not issue a refund because of the 20% commission paid to booking.com. I would like to recieve a refund. Needless to say I will not use that service again.

Americas Best Value Inn hotel cleanliness

The hotel cleanliness is definitely at doubt. I was charged $110 per day for a really bad hotel. It is old, small, dirty and smells bad. The bed liners didn't feel fresh, etc.
I could go on and on.
I never expected to pay so much for such a bad hotel.
Americas Best Value Inn, needs to check this property because they are scam people like they did w/ me.

Americas Best Value Inn the supervisor being unprofessional and threatening me

I have had a voucher for a room at American best inn watt ave location. Today I came back from doing my laundry. The lady was finally cleaning after three days of not cleaning my room. A bunch of customers were stoping by practice there Spanish with the cleaning lady, then they ask for towels and the cleaning spray. Hot cigarette smoke in the door way from. Them. So the maid sweeps my semi precious stone in a bag i just bought. I got to the office to explain. I'm 7 months pregnant I can't bend over to pick things. I ask for the supervisor . The supervisor got really disrespectful. He said well your using a voucher . I said either way you are being payed 85$ a night. He said oh well how do you want to do this. I can call your worker. So I said so now your threatening me. I left . I'm very upset I'm a single mother no guest, no issues, and to be treated like that rediculous.

Americas Best Value Inn my room. no soap, no toilet paper, and only 1 towel in the bathroom.

None of the outlets, in the room worked. Only the bathroom. No television, no microwave, no refrigerator, and no lights. Only in the bathroom. I requested to be moved to a different room several times, only to be rejected by the front desk. I was told, on 4 different occasions, that someone would be sent to check the problems. No one ever showed up. I basically rented a tool shed. This unacceptable service. I booked the room through booking.com. I was in #130. I should have 100% of my money refunded.

None of the outlets, in the room worked. Only the bathroom. No television, no microwave, no refrigerator, and no lights. ONLY IN THE BATHROOM. I requested to be moved to a different room SEVERAL TIMES, ONLY TO BE REJECTED BY THE FRONT DESK. I was told, on 4 different occasions, that someone would be sent to check the problems. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP. I basically rented a tool shed. This unacceptable service. I booked the room through Booking.com. I was in #130. I should have 100% of my money refunded.

Americas Best Value Inn customer service, uncomfortable stay, giving out personal information

I have stayed at this property over a week. The first day my personal information/ room number was given out without any reguard to who it could have been. I could have seriously been in danger. And that happen twice, I have had to go through days uncomfortable inside certain rooms due to roaches, and because I have spent my money and didn't get what I paid for.. No one has offer discount or anything and that is not right.
