Americana Flowers flower arrangement sent to family member in hospital

6/19/2019--order placed for floral arrangement to be sent to family member at DCH Medical Center.
Name of arrangement was Zen Artistry, price 51.12.
The arrangement sent was not what I ordered and I was charged $115 plus change.

I spoke with a representative at Stephanie's florist which was the name listed on the card sent with the arrangement,
I was informed the instructions they received did not list the name of the arrangement I requested just listed florist choice which did not give them any idea of what I was requesting and they were only paid 51.12.
I tried calling to resolve this issue but both times the called was answered and then disconnected before I could speak with anyone.

I am requesting a refund of 64.42.
If my order could not be filled as requested someone from your office should have called to see if I wanted another arrangement.

Americana Flowers flower non delivery mother's day ruined

It's bad enough that you took my money but you ruined my Mom's Mother's Day buy not delivering flowers that I paid for. I don't live near my mom so sending her flowers males her happy. This year will think I forgot about her. I spent nearly $60 for nothing. I would try to get my money back but readig other compliants tells me I would waste my time.

Americana Flowers anniversary bouquet

Today 5/1/19 is my 34th wedding anniversary. I ordered a bouquet from Troy'sflorist to be delivered to my wife's workplace in Newnan GA. I specifically ordered the Dance with Me arrangement located on their web site and was charged $112.13 for an upgrade to 12 roses from 9. Suffice it to say a local florist Nash Florist out of Grantville GA made the delivery and I am livid. I did not get what I ordered and paid for. I got a crappy arrangement with only 3 pink roses. I have left a message for Nash to call me asap and also attempted to stop payment but my bank cannot do anything until I speak with them. Its after business hours now and the number for Troy's Florist just rings without an answer. Looking at my bank account, the charge was put through by Americana Flowers...but wait, i did not talk to Americana Flowers nor Nash? I can't wait for tomorrow to come to call these people up and give them a piece of my mind. They ruined my anniversary and caused me much emotional stress.

Americana Flowers been calling for months to get my money back

Good Afternoon I cancelled my order back on 02-06-2019 and you owe me $62.00 dollars I have called several time talk to associate who said she would do that as of this date the credit has not been added to my credit card please I have called several time no help next step to get the better business bureau and take this to the states attorney my frustration just to get my $62.00 back the reason why I cancelled you can see the email from troy they said delivery will be hi price that why I cancelled now I can not get my money back and I asking you since I done it through your website to return my money all picture attached please let me know status

Americana Flowers flower delivery

Arrange for get well flowers deliver to a folk fellow co worker. When the coworker returned I asked her about it as we did not get an email saying thank you. She advised she never got it. Called and was advised they would speak to the driver, no response se. Sent email asking for refund. Advised 3 to 5 business days. No refund. Worse service ever.
Will never recommend.

Americana Flowers plant basket for $120.00

On 1/23/2019 I ordered a plant basket for my cousin as her father died. It was to be delivered that day. When I didn't hear from her I called the florist the next day. Was told not delivered but would go out today in the morning. Called again that afternoon, not delivered. Was told was not delivered as roads icy and it was snowing which was not true. Called the next morning was told it was on the delivery truck. Again, didn't hear from my cousin. Called her and no delivery. Her fathers funeral had already taken place. Meanwhile my charge for $120 had cleared my American Express card. I called again Saturday. Was told they couldn't deliver as the florist they used had a death in the family and were closed for several days. I canceled the order. Still have not received my refund. Horrible customer service. Was lied to every time. This company is a scam. Do not ever order from them.

Americana Flowers late/non-delivery and refusal for refund

I ordered flowers to be delivered same-day to my aunt in the hospital. It was confirmed that they would be sent that day in my invoice. I didn't hear from her, so emailed "Troy's Florist" asking if they went out. The response had no signature, and simply said "they are going out today." I responded that my aunt was leaving the hospital and I wanted to cancel or get a refund for late delivery. They said the hospital accepted the flowers, meaning my aunt had to have been there, but I know she did not get them. Our email exchange since has been infuriating to the point where it seems like I'm dealing with a bot. However, when my sister called the number, she spoke to a woman who was very rude and said she will not issue a refund. I see now that there are no yelp or Google reviews, and Troy's Florist doesn't have a Google maps location. This is a total scam.

Americana Flowers non delivery of paid for flowers

This company is a complete and utter scam and should be shut done immediately. After ordering flowers for a friend in the hospital, they failed to deliver the flowers after 3 days of promises!

They operate under various local names, while they work out of an on-line office God knows where.

They routinely hang up on you when you try to get information out of them or a refund for non-delivery.

AVOID this company at all costs!

Americana Flowers Extra charges

I went online and ordered 2 dozen roses to be delivered to a place of business, and the next day this company calls to tell me that my order would be cancelled unless I pay an up charge that the local company requested. I did this because there was no time to try to find another company. I complained to the other company about this and that the flowers started to droop within three days. The company told me it was not them and that had I called them direct this would never have happened and they replaced the flowers that day.
This company rips people off.

I ordered flowers online from what I thought was a local florist (Troy's Florist). I called the number to confirm they had received my order and I was told that they cancelled it. I checked my email and all I had was a receipt for the purchase but no cancellation. To date I do not have a credit.

Americana Flowers Scamming our local customers and hurting our reputation

We received a phone order for a local customer from a distant florist. This happens fairly regularly so we thought nothing of it. We were asked to do an 3 orchid arrangement for $40. We doubted this flowers availability for that price so we called the alleged florist back after checking with our supplier. They told us to go ahead and give her purple, lavender, and pink flowers in a vase. My wife suggested Pink Gerbras, purple stock, purple Alstromera. The distant florist told us that would be great. Those are the recipient's favorite colors so go ahead. We made the arrangement and delivered it. Within an hour we received a call from a Florida lady who had placed the order online for $80 worth of Orchid arrangement. She was livid and proceeded to tear up my wife, putting her in tears (My wife takes her professional reputation very seriously and personally). I later called the number we had to call on the orchid query. They said the company name extremely fast but I pressed them until they said it slowly-Americana Flowers. I then googled the name and found this complaint directory. After reading the complaints I called the Florida lady back and explained that she had been scammed. I thought it would be appropriate to post a complaint from the local florist who has their reputation stained thanks to these jokers. Our local customer seemed pleased with the flowers but I'm sure she got an earful from her mother who spent $80 for orchids and got a $40 arrangement of other flowers instead. Now our name is connected with them instead of the quality reasonably priced arrangement we delivered in our community.

I just looked online at the better business bureau website: https://www.bbb.org/us/nj/s-plainfield/profile/retail-florist/americana-flowers-0221-90159233

It appears these jokers are out of business. My guess is they filed bankruptcy or pulled some other scam to get out of facing responsibility for their shady business practices or perhaps they are just dodging the BBB.

It seems unfair they are allowed to continue to do business. I think it probably has something to do with it being an internet business as Congress is very slow in creating new laws when it comes to new technology. Write your representatives and demand accountability.

This is one of many sending only call centers and not a real florist. Avoid these others: FTD Teleflora Blooms Today, Just Flowers, Ava's Flowers, 1800flowers, The Sympathy Store, From You Flowers and more. All these places do is take and send and you never get the amount of money necessary to recreate what they sell.

Americana Flowers Funeral not delivered

$Ordered plants for funeral went to the visitation and they were not delivered. Call and they told me that they could not print off the delivery address. They never called me to ask for it as they could just hand write it. I called and received for poor service. I ordered something for $100 and was told they could cancel it all or I asked if they would deliver it before noon the next day and then receive a discount. They told me they could only discount me $15. If I would have never showed up to the funeral visitation I would have never known that the plant never showed up. I still have not received my $15 yet.. I feel a bigger discount is something I should have received.. and I can't even get the $15 dollars from them.. The arrangement finally showed up 15 minl before funeral.

Americana Flowers Never delivered product

I ordered a plant and balloons from Americana Flowers via their website to have delivered to my dad's hospital room. I ordered them on 2/17/15. They were guaranteed for delivery on 2/18/15. When they never arrived, I called the phone number on the website. It rang and rang and no one answered. Twice I emailed the email address on the website and in the confirming email for my order. Neither one was answered. I called again today, was put on hold for a long time, and then disconnected. The plant and balloons were never delivered but the company charged my credit card number anyway despite my telling them in my emails to cancel the order and not to charge me since the items were needed yesterday and not today as my dad has been discharged. Their website is a scam and makes it appear as though they are located in Jackson, CA near the hospital, when they are apparently nowhere near there, possibly not even in the state. NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE APPARENTLY A SCAM ENTITY. I am hopeful the Attorneys Generals in the states where they operate prosecute them and put them out of business. In the meantime, hope no one else uses them.

Americana Flowers horrible/non-existent service

What a scam. I ordered Birthday/Valentine's Flowers for my wife. The year before her birthday had been sidelined with health issues with my Dad. He died recently and she was very close to him. So wanted this birthday to be extra special. I ordered flowers from what I thought was a florist in Dripping Springs called Troy Florists. I wanted them delivered in the morning, but the girl said that their drivers do not deliver until 2pm, which I thought was odd. Regardless, after 330pm and not hearing from my wife I became concerned. I called a shop in Dripping Springs thinking it was the one I had ordered from. (I had the emailed receipt in my locker, but couldn't get to it at that time). The lady was very apologetic, but said that yes, she did see an order from Americana Flowers out of New Jersey that came in a few days before, but they did not have the flowers they were asking for, so Americana just cancelled the order.
I called Americana, and after the woman did indeed find my order, she apologized and lied to me that the driver had been stuck in a funeral and couldn't get them delivered by 3pm, which was their cut-off time. She then offered to upgrade the order and send some out the next day. I said absolutely not, that my wife did not work the next day, and that I had just talked to the shop that they had called...along with what they told me. Furthermore, I wondered how it was that their driver only delivered from 2pm to 3pm. Caught in her lie, she quickly said that they would refund my money. I was not in a position at the time to carry on with her, but called back after Valentine's to ask if they were going to compensate in some way for the lies...and mess. She said no, basically it was just too bad, and my money would be refunded.
Be careful of who you order flowers from. Americana/ Troy Florists is probably not from your area, and they have no problem lying to you. Avoid these florists like the plague.

Americana Flowers Bait & Switch Ripoff

This business defrauds people with a hidden bait & switch statement and operates from a position of anonymity refusing to give an address or name I purchased a large bouquet of flowers from this website. They flowers were not delivered. I complained and asked for a refund and instead they offered me a free 'upgrade'. Once the flowers were delivered not only did they not come with an 'upgrade' they were nothing like the advertised flowers. They were not the same type of flowers nor did they even resemble the flowers I ordered. They were much cheaper flowers. I ordered a bunch of rare roses and instead they sent cheap carnations and lilies. They DO have a "substitution" policy hidden away in a corner of their website that is easily overlooked and under a header of an unrelated nature. Even so, this policy says " Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers are necessary due to availability issues. If this is the case with the item you've selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value. " Theme, Style; not even color were maintained and they certainly did not come close to items of equal or higher value by any means. It seems like a pretty straight-forward charge for expensive flowers and deliver cheap ones ploy. They only offered a total of 20% refund when the stuff they delivered was not even worth 1/2 of my total. They also offered to repo the flowers as if that is some kind of compensation or satisfying conclusion. I asked them instead to just stop ripping people off by making their substitution policy more obvious and maybe require users to click on an acknowledgment that they have read it before proceeding with the financial transaction. It was at this point that this mostly anonymous 'business' operating stopped communicating with me (over 2 weeks ago). The fraudulent intent is painfully obvious. In addition, this person operates from a position of anonymity. They only give a first name, and do not display any actual address or business licensing information. They would also not provide any of this information when asked.

This is what real flower shops call order gatherers, they are people who sit behind a computer and take peoples orders online. Most of them have no idea what the difference between a rose and a daisy is, nor do they care. They let the people assume that they are a real flower shop and are in every town in the world and can get the item delivered for a lot cheaper price than is possible. Then they offer a discount which is also not possible just to drag you in deeper thinking you are really getting a great deal... They then take your credit card information, charge your card the amount of the flowers, a outrageous service charge and then call a real flower shop and only give them part of the money they just stole from you.

Americana Flowers Wrong flowers

Ordered 65$ flowers for a friend that recently lost her father and what she received was pure embarrassment! The order looked like 5$ worth of flowers! Horrible! I called for 2 days and got hung up on multiple times! Could not get ahold of owner as he was "dealing with family emergency". Received an email from the owner who said I will get a refund! I asked him to call me and nothing back! Below is a picture of what I ordered and the 3 little flowers that were actually sent! Do not use this site!

Americana Flowers Non-Delivery & No Refund

I ordered flowers online which were supposed to be delivered within 24 hours. After 48 hours passed and no flowers I contacted the company and asked for a refund. I was told it would take 3-5 business days. After those dates passed I called again as I still have not received the refund. Megan who answered the phone told me that she would resubmit it but first she would have to contact her bank to find out why the refund wasn't issued. I asked to speak to the owner and she said that he was on vacation and wouldn't be back for a week. After two weeks passed I called back as I still have not received my refund. I was told that they would have to contact the bank to find out why it didn't process. I asked again to speak to the manager/owner and was told again that he was on vacation and wouldn't be back for 2 weeks. I am now 5 weeks past my original order date and I have yet to receive my $69.48 refund. This place is a scam and they steal your money.

Americana Flowers No delivery and no refund after 2 weeks.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my girlfriends job on [protected] as a birthday gift. They called and said they couldn't complete the delivery. OK stuff happens no big deal so I asked for a refund. They said they were going to refund me. I called on the 16th just to make sure it was definitely refunded and they said just to wait the 2-5 business days for the bank. I waited and called my bank on the 7th business day and also emailed Amercanas customer support. I was told that they would reissue the refund by a lady named Rachel Ray. That was on the 24th and its the 2nd of October and still have no refund. Over 2 weeks and I have yet to see the 65$ that is mine. In my honest opinion that's a poorly run business. I've used em once before without a problem so I figured I'd use em again. I don't think it's that complicated to issue someone a refund especially when telling the customer multiple times it'll be issued. I now have my bank handling the matter and suggest anyone use caution when dealing with Americana. I'm not saying they're a total ripoff, but I surely got ripped off. That's money that could've went to my kids, I certainly didn't want to lend it to a badly run business. I attached a picture of the "wonderful" communication they have with their customers.

These guys take your money and don't deliver... Also operate un the Troys Florist name. The world would be a better place without these people so don't be surprised if they end up floating in the Raritan River!
