American Home Shield [AHS] Pool filter motor repair

To whom it may concern:

This is Dong Wang, My contractor number is [protected]. My address is 1122 Ascott Valley Dr, Duluth, GA 30097. I talked with Kathy who asked to email you my motor replacement receipt f

My filter pump's motor was found to be broken by my pool service company staff on 4/14/2023 and I was informed that a repair technician was sent to diagnose the problem. After the diagnosis, I was told my old Pentair pump's motor was broken and needed to be replaced. Please see the attached picture-old pentair motor- broken, New centurion motor-installed.

The cost of the motor replacement was $600 and diagnosis fee was $135 and O-ring gasket kit was $40, total $775.

I would like to have a reimbursement for these fees.

American Home Shield [AHS] Wont cover any costs for plumbing

The drain pipe came loose from our shower so we called our AHS warranty to fix it. We paid 100$ for the call but they said we would have to pay in full for the repair to be done costing 900$! To reattach a drain! We cancelled the call because they offered no solution or refund and we're out 100$ and still have a broken drain. BAD CO, WONT PAY CLAIMS

American Home Shield [AHS] AC service request

I am very disappointed with the American Home Shield Customer Service. Initially I opened the AC service request by July 17.  AHS assigned SUB ZERO MECHANICAL LLC. a very rude and incompetent provider. I requested another contractor and AHS appointed Crispy Air and Heating. Another incompetent provider, after they fixed a freon leak the AC stopped working completely. They ordered the compressor to wait another 2 weeks, the AC still did not work. They waited on a thermostat another week; the part did not arrive on the day scheduled.   In the meantime, the temperature inside was 88F while outside 110-116F. I have elderly people inside, they almost passed out. I made multiple calls to the escalation dept, I opened a complaint, and nobody got back to me. It is unacceptable to wait more than 6 weeks to fix an AC. I am determined to cancel out my contract with AHS, this is a scam.

American Home Shield [AHS] AC repair

dispatch number [protected]

Service provider contacted me on 22 Aug 2023 saying the part they need to order will take 2-3 weeks.

On 23 August I requested that AHS provide a cash out value amount so that I could decide how to go forward. Was told by the agent it would take 24-48 hours.

I followed up via chat multiple times, the most recent times on 28, 29 August and again on 1 September. Each time the same story: give us more time. I asked for the number of the agent or manager but was not given any.

Desired outcome: I want to know the cash out value today (1 Sep 2023) so I can decide whether to order the part and take another 2-4 weeks before repair or take the cash out and go to another service provider who can install much sooner.

American Home Shield [AHS] Home warranty

Please do not sign up with this company! They may very well be the worst company that I have ever dealt with! I’ve been a customer for several years, and the most recent experiences have been horrible! I had two separate issues with my Pool neither one of which was resolved. I was charged $100 for each service incident and they continue to charge me monthly. I have attempted to cancel multiple times, and they refuse to cancel me even though I was told that I was canceled! I told them that I had canceled multiple times and they said I was canceled yet they keep charging me! This is a fraudulent company!

Desired outcome: I wish to be permanently canceled and reimbursed!

American Home Shield [AHS] Coverage policy

AC system needed service... low on freon.ac unit freezing up.

Technician who arrived was great... but AHS claims rep, was insulting.

Offered $10 per pound for needed freon (3 pounds), no stop leak authorization... our out of pocket expenses — $460

We have had AHS for a number of years, Kind of BS, when you pay for the top of the line coverage.

Really expected to be treated better

American Home Shield [AHS] Refrigerator Repair ID: #[protected] Dispatch: #[protected],

We filed a work request, Dispatch: #[protected], on Aug 14th and it is now Aug 31st to have our refrigerator repaired. The fridge is not cooling but the freezer is working.

They assigned one contractor who doesn't service our zip code. Then Sears was contacted by them and they were here within an hour but AHS put the wrong repair code in so they left.

We have contacted AHS every day and keep getting told they have escalated the ticket and that the dispatch department will contact us within 24 hours. We are still waiting.

They have offered for us to hire our own company but the last few times we have done that we have not been reimbursed for the repairs so we will not go that route again.

American Home Shield [AHS] Ac repair.

Have waited over a month for an AC repair. They sent out to vendors. 1st one was never authorized to do repair. 2nd vendor said same problem existed and have never responded to my calls even though AHS stated I needed to contact them. Everytime I contact AHS I'm given a different explanation of the problem and told it will be resolved in 24-48 hrs. It has been three week since reporting the AC problem. They ate horrible and constantly lie to me about status and solution.

Desired outcome: Fix my AC. That is what I have paid them 5o do.

This sounds like you wrote it for me. Exact same thing going on with me. Now they say they have both diagnosis from vendor 1 and 2. They found the same thing which ultimately means replacement of my ac system. im told adjuster is making a decision, its been 3 days now! Damn!
