Joined as it was FREE, then discovered that if I wanted to return emails I had to be a paying member. Because I got such a positive response from over 50 females I decided to join. Once paying my joining fee I have never received another inquiry from another woman or have I ever received a response from any of my emails. I now can't contact anyone to cancel( other than a customer service email that never gets answered) If you don't cancel they continue to take money out each month...can you help? my email is [protected]@hotmail.com

Thanks

I sent four cancellation emails to AmateurMatch and got no response except from an automated email program that said they were looking at my "ticket". Two months go by and all of a sudden I'm getting emails from this site saying I have "matches". Seeing as how I thought I cancelled my account I went on the site and discovered I could log right in and they indeed didn't cancel anything. Looked at my bank statements and found out I had been paying for this thing for the last three months despite all my cancellation emails. I just called the above listed number and they didn't even ask me for my screen name but immediately asked me for my credit card number for my account. When I asked if they needed my account info first they said no and then told me they just cancelled my account. Skeptical at how this was going I demanded they tell me my account information and they guy finally complied. I then asked for a confirmation email and the customer service rep said I would get one. It's been an hour and still no email with confirmation of my deleted account. This makes me wonder if they actually cancelled it for real this time. Surely this has to be illegal to conveniently ignore customer requests for cancellations and keep charging their credit cards. This is the biggest scheme of an online site I've come across yet.

Hey guys I was almost suckered in but I had moved from one state to another. I had gotten mail from one woman that I had seen before and some how she was in bothe states that I was in. I figure right there that this site is a scam!!

Call your credit card company and they will take care of canceling it for you!!!

I signed up but didnt take the hook when I found I couldnt reply for free as the site was advertised to me. So being a resourceful individual I obtained another users account info and logged in and checked the mail in that account to find that they were getting the same wording, word for word, in messages I had gotten on my own account, only there were different pictures of girls and different usernames. DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOUR THINKING ABOUT IT - THEY ARE NOT LEGITIMATE!!! SCAMERS, SCAMERS, SCAMERS!

If you meet a girl online and she sends you an email with a link to her profile on some other site, it's almost certainly a scam. She might email you repeatedly. She'll tell you that her contact info is on that profile or other people read her email, or that she needs to be certain that you're not a sex offender. There will be a credit card form that says free, but really there's a reoccurring monthly charge. If the page you click on has her picture, it's still a scam. Often times the links on the page will be broken except for the credit card form or they will just be images of links. Look at the URL, it might have her name in it. Change the part of the URL with her name to some other common girls names and you'll see a page with the same wording and pictures, but only the name changed. She might even send you a phone number. When you call that number you'll hear a girl's voice with the same name on the answering machine, but you'll never reach her. One of the best ways to tell if it's a scam: if she says she has a profile on some other website, try creating a profile with her email address. Legitimate sites would give you an error message if you create two accounts with the same email. If you don't get an error message, then it's a good indication of a scam.

lol thats funny cuz i just hid my alternate email account information in the boxes, which was deleted, then i changed it up and they haven't yet. lol. so i figure if a interested female, ( real female) is smart enough to put the pieces together, than congrats! Ive never gave them any money, and if i was to, maybe a pay-as-you-go visa card would stop them in their tracks! If your going to attempt to do as i have, make an alternate email account and put nothing personal on it and only reveal information that wont sneak up and bite you in the ###.

Hi, Join for free & just wait for the hot chix emails to keep pouring in. It's a real ego boost & all for free! I get emails from dozens of hot chix stating that "we're so close by" and they're 350 miles away. I wrote total nonsense in my profile description and I'm still getting comments that they "liked my profile". I tried to put up a pic of George Clooney but it was rejected. At this point even if just one REAL chick actually emailed me it would get lost in all of the bogus emails from the fakes.

I'm glad I read this. I was totally flattered with all the babes that were messaging me - some of them I could tell right away were fakes, but some seemed real. Not sure where they are getting these pictures, because some of them look like an everyday pic and not so much a obviously spoofed up porn chick taken from a HD camera with lighting. I've done a little research after reading this, and I can confirm that this is all (or at least, largely) a scam. As "Hunk of a guy" said in the post above, I'm not sure I'd be able to filter out a real chick if a real chick even messaged me.

This site will screw your credit card good and hard, but, alas, you will remain unsatisfied.

The profiles on Hookup site with a gold "OC" are fake! The previous statement by one of their OCs is but one proof. This is all setup by Amature Match to deceive and con men out of their monies. The chat rooms are primarily cam girls soliciting your monies.

I've been looking around a number of these sites in the last couple of weeks, and they do seem to be operated by the same company. I took out a trial membership on xxxmatch, but I got a cancellation reciept within half an hour of cancelling on line. But be warned, I didn't put up any details, or photograph on my profiles, and from one of these sites, horny matches, I got a message from a girl who loved my profile and my pics, aparently I'm a cutie, so is she, by the way, her pictures are private, but without me contacting her, I got two pictures of her naked because she wanted to arrange a meeting. She had sense enough to arrange a date when her friends would be there, yet told me what part of the city she lived in and what college she went to, now, does that add up to any of you guys? I think horny matches are using their members private information to con others to upgrade. I didn't upgrade. If you're going to pay money to one of these sites, my advice is to get a pre-paid credit card and only load it with the ammount you're going to pay. Personally, I would never pay for any of these sites. I'm not endorsing xxxmatch just because the cancellation went well, I only joined the site because there was a picture of the front page of a woman who totally did it for me, and she wasn't even naked. After joining the site, however, I discovered there was no such member. Be careful out there.

Always read the TERMS and CONDITIONS (FIRST) before you sign up for any adult type hookup site! And what you will find is most do not allow any exchange of personal information ie phone numbers, email or personal addresses, bar or restaurants. All your emails and IM's are screened before they are delivered if they are ever delivered at all!
Ya I know I been there to it sucks wasted is your money time and effort of trying to meet or hookup with some one you may be very attracted to!
Free memberships will be blasted with sexy women or men to get you to join! "Bait and switch" I believe it is called!

I have had more than several of these online match services and none of them are forreal! Everyone is a rip off! I have yet to get a date from any of these sites! Yes the credit cards can get ###ed up all right!
Rudefinder is another example, xxxmatch, all of them! There are no women looking on line for men, unless they can't GET A DATE ANY OTHER WAY! I AM A DECENT LOOKING GUY AS WELL AND I DON'T CARE FOR BARS SCENES EITHER. The chioces of women out there are not like it used to be in my area. Everyone is contaminated with some form of std. I've decide to live as a hermit in the wilderness. I'm packing now! Good luck guys! This society is ###ed up so bad the only way to fix it is to "cleanse the land! Burn em all them build on top of them! That's called getting ###ed!!!
