Alpha Omega Developers /Alfredo AcostaUnethical Behaviour & paying commissions to unlicensed real estate agents

This company is extremely unethical. Does not pay suppliers.
We know of several cases that they pay unlicensed people to bring them buyers for their condos. Be careful when approaching them. The owner seems to be very well spoken but he is a scam artist. Will not sign contract with suppliers and will make them work for free on the promise that in the future he will pay them. After they have done the work they find all sorts of excuses not to pay.

If you are a broker make sure you register your clients and get a photocopy of the registration. If he can he wil not pay commisions to you and make up that they were walk ins. Also make sure you get a copy of your sales contract. This man alters contracts!

This developer in his late 50s decided to go to Law School. I wonder why?

Also they did a project in Brickell Avenue and 16th street in Miami. They promised their buyers it would be a 5 star project. They delivered the cheapest project possible with the worse types of finishes in the bathroomos and kitchens. buyers ended up stuck with condos that are now worth half of what they bought them for. Do not buy anything from them and do not do business with them. Also he is now developing a medical center also in Brickell. Beware! Huge Scam.

All sales commissions were paid By The Developer as stated by law, for each Loft on Brickell's unit sold by a realtors the commissions were paid to Their brokers, as it is shown in the file attached . Any body can verify this information with each broker. The units closed during the years [protected].It is completely false the Developer paid any sales unlicensed persons. Mr. John Robbins and his accomplices are liars committing a crime hided behind false names and not real e- mail and street addresses, also without any proof.

I Completely disagree with Mr. Robbins. I am 100% sure of the ethical behavior of Alfredo Acosta and his company. I am sure Mr. Robbins will not be able to sustain his false accusations. Clearly the scam artist is Mr. Robbins, also it is not clear if this is his real name.
Mr. Robbins should investigate more about someone before blaming anyone and creating a bad name without proof. Evidently this is an unethical behavior and should not be permitted by this website.

All this complaint is only a lot of lies and a criminal defamation. All the finishes at the Loft on Brickell buildings were fist class materials, the Kitchens were imported directly from Italy, and installed by the manufacturers representatives in Miami, the countertops were imported Quartz, most of the tiles were made by Porcelanosa imported from Spain, paints were Benjamin Moore the best quality. ( see pictures attached). All sales commissions were paid to brokers like Fortune International Realty, Beach Front realty, Brickell First Investment Realty, Florida Int realty, Realty World Miami, Marquee Properties Realty, Era Elk Realty, VR Business Brokers.
Please find attached photos of interiors and exterior for Loft On Brickell, and some closing statements to proof pay of commissions to only Brokers.

As per reading the comments and the article above from Mr. John Robbins, Mr. Martin Johansen and Mrs. Anna Ceballos I have to disagree with their statements. Let me start by correcting the facts, the company named in the article, Alpha Omega Development is not a registered business in the state of Florida. Mr. Acosta’s company is called OmegaAlpha Development.

Having this important fact corrected, I want to state that all the above comments are not only false but also bad intended. I used to work for this firm in [protected], and I can certify that this company looked only for high quality materials for all of their projects. I personally worked in this specific project stated in the article, Lofts on Brickell I and II and I know for a fact that all the kitchens were imported from Italy, the tiles from span and all the paints were Benjamin Moor. So far I’ve never received any complains of the project.

Regarding the matter of Mr. Alfredo Acosta being a scam artist, I have to say that I’ve known him for more than 30 years, he is not only well know in the Miami area but also in Colombia; he is consider a very serious and high ethical professional and has never been accused of anything wrong in either places. It is very disrespectful and defamation by Mr. Johansen to say that Mr. Acosta was kicked out of the country, this is not only a lie but a slander because Mr. Acosta is in fact a respected US citizen

Sorry that happened to you Ana! It also happened to another family member that bought at that Lofts on Brickell. This developer Alfredo promised the buyers Italian kitchens and gave them the cheapest materials possible to the point that nobody even wants to live there. Also layouts were horrible and the entire building is a disaster. He is now building in Colombia..I just found out from this contract that is posted on the internet. This guy Afredo Acosta Acosta was probably kicked out of the USA for being a scam artist:. I wonder why they do not check out his background before giving him any contracts in those countries? It would not suprise me that he is paying someone afeee under the table to get this contract awarded to him.
