Allstate Insurance Motorcycle policy

I had my motorcycle insurance and auto insurance with Allstate. I canceled in good standings with them. After my account was paid in good standing and spoke with an agent for cancellation I received phone calls and letters that my Allstate account was sent to a collections service.

I have spent several hours on the phone trying to get ahold of someone with Allstate but have gotten nowhere. I do not have my policy number any longer for the motorcycle but my auto insurance still shows up when I log in to my old account which says cancelled and paid in full.

My last payment was July 18 for 55.34 paid. I cancelled after that in Aug.

I was never sent any bill from Allstate regarding this. Or any such statements.

Allstate Insurance I am writing this letter regarding a service I received from allstate agent: laura templet my account number with allstate iis _xxxx29355.

I paid $286.00 for the service. Payment was made by credit card (debit card) and cash. I contacted Laura Templet-Agent on September 28,22 now sure of the exact date but this would be close to the time I called. I got an amount for October 6 month payment and was completely shocked on what I was told concerning the price and the coverage I thought I had. I explain no I set in your office with your assistance laughing and talking about adding additional coverage to my car (COMPREHENSION) for my 2011 Hyundai I agreed and paid the extra amount due to my Insurance payment was so low, I remember walking out happy that I had additional coverage on my car and thinking how I was going to replace that additional money I paid out, I remembers this! There was no mistake about this. I was told no I didn't pay for comprehension but for PPI, LIABILITY AND UNINSURED MOTORIST ONLY Which is a lie.. She defrauded me in order to increase my Auto Ins due to some mistake on her part, money was given and coverage was not applied therefore cheating me out of money I didn't have to give.

I will be filing not only with Social Media to see if this has been done to anyone else but to the BBB, TX State Board Off Insurance, The state Attorney General and the NAIC. (National association of Ins comm.)

I would appreciate and look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter,. your assistance in resolving my complaint will greatly impact my decision on how I will perceive in handling this serious problem of fraud and deception.. I want that money back. I gave Ms Templet in her hand in her office $76.. and appreciate the response back soon as humanly possible.

Please look at my records and research my October 21 and April 17.22 statements that should tell you something:me, a long time customer with no blemish always paying on time. In my emails there's a record of an April 17 statement that shows the low amount that was due. not the lie that showed it was $286 I would have complained at that time or changed Insurance company.

Allstate Insurance Failure to honor policy

On or around 8/4/22, I noticed water leaking from my upstairs area running down interior and exterior walls. I called Choice Warranty first for immediate resolution; however, I didn’t receive a plumber until 9/28/22. The diagnosis was a wax ring replacement. VLP returned on 10/8/22 and determined that wasn’t the problem much more serious. Therefore, I submitted a claim to Allstate and my claim was denied due to I reported this issue to late! I requested that a claim adjuster come to my home and assess this leak and Sarah Falcon (Allstate claim adjuster) “declared they have no one in my area to do this.” Then I submitted a claim for property damages and this adjuster (Kurk) need the repairs completed before he can make a decision. I sent pictures and 2 plumbers provided information to both adjuster!

Desired outcome: I would like Allstate to honor my policy and pay for repairing my water leak.

Allstate Insurance Auto insurance

Re Policy # [protected]. AllState cancelled my Auto policy months ago in error and we have been driving without insurance since June 2022 without having a clue. We never received notification that this coverage was cancelled. Yesterday, 11/2/22, we went to print our auto id cards online on the AllState app and we noticed the auto policy was not showing on the app. We called our local agent, got transferred to the main office automatically, we report the issue and someone was supposed to call us today with a solution, however no call has been received from the main office as of 11/3/2022 1:55 pm. Back in June I, William Mcconnell, called AllState to cancel my Landlord's policy, then called again to cancel the Umbrella policy days later (you should have notes in your system). This is where someone at AllState made a HUGE mistake and cancelled our 2 vehicle auto policy! This is outrageous, we could have had an accident, or hit someone, even kill someone and lose everything we have because someone is not paying attention to what they are doing. I could not go to work today, nor tomorrow if this issue is not resolved!. This is bad Customer Service, and it is unacceptable! This error has been reported to the PA Department of Insurance.

Desired outcome: The auto policy needs to be reinstated back to when it was cancelled. We should not have to pay higher rates because an AllState's employee made an error processing a cancellation on the wrong policy.

It sounds like your local agent messed up when you called to advise you wanted your landlord's and umbrella policies cancelled but cancelled your auto policies instead - it might have been best if you had sent him a certified letter or an e-mail to create more of a paper trail. Due to his negligence, you probably should seek out legal advice against the agent - he should have E&O - errors and omissions insurance, which is the equivalent of malpractice insurance in the industry. Good that you reported this to the PA insurance department - I'd also report this to the BBB and the attorney general's office - although I know the current attorney general is now our governor elect, undoubted he has staff that can and will follow up on this issue. Allstate Insurance Accident claim

June of 2022, we were traveling down a major, dangerous highway, when several sheets of plywood and debris flew off a vehicle in the air and slammed into my car. Luckly no one was seriously, or fatally injured. Unfortunately, my car is damaged significantly originally, and due to the damage and not receiving any response, payment for damages by driver, and financial hardship, and being disabled, the damage is increasing due to paint completely chipped and scratched away by the plywood, exposing raw sheet metal, rust is present and unable to prevent from spreading or causing rust holes. My car is fairly new 2015, excellent condition prior to this accident. The policy holder with Allstate, accepted full responsibility and stated will comply to make sure my car is fixed, during exchanging of insurance information and awaiting the sheriff to receive police report, which I've provided Allstate. Almost 6 months, and not a one phone call, not one email, not anything showing results on website claim login, after providing photos, contact info, and where to send payment for damage. I called and was told the original adjuster no longer has my claim, someone else does. Also informed they are waiting for a statement from the driver that caused the damage to my vehicle. There's a statement that trumps everyone's, and that's the police report statement. Why am I having to wait so long until Allstate pays for the damage their policy holder caused, this waiting has increased the damaged due to Florida humidity and rain, rusting my vehicle. I am also a SENIOR CITIZEN and COMPLETELY DISABLE by Social Security Admin. I will go the necessary actions needed. Please resolve soon.

Desired outcome: Compensation from Allstate for damages done to my vehicle by their policy holder. With correction, that now has increased the damages because it wasn't resolved or fixed in a timely manner from the beginning

Allstate Insurance Claim to honor damages caused by a leak in to rooms of my house was denied at no time at all.

On the middle of September of this year 2022, it came to our attention that a wall of one of the bedrooms of my house had a cracked in the the middle so we called the plumber thinking it may be caused by a leak coming from a pipe next to the room because there is a bathroom nextdoor.

The first thing we did, was to called the service of a plumber as anyone normally will do because we did not know at that time the source of the problem, neither if it was actually a leak and obviously also the size of the problem.

The plumber did come and made a hole in the wall that was cracked to check for any leaks finding that the pipes behind that wall were not the ones causing it but he noticed that mold has started to build up, he then started to touch and check the other walls of the room and for our surprise they were soft and damaged, too, not knowing at this time still the origen of it.

The only thing we were sure at this point was that the costs of the unfortunate and unexpected misfortune was going to be high in other words expensive to fix it up.

The plumber asked us what was in the attic and we told him it was a furnace part of our AC, then he decided to check it out and was until then that he found a leak in one of the pipe of that unit, he fixed it up and it was then that we found out from where the cause of the problem was coming from.

Was then, that I Knew the facts, I called the Allstate claim department to file one but to my surprise it was immediately denied by the adjustor or supervisor in charged giving me one of the most outrageous excuses or reasons.

I was told by this lady that I should have just called right away even before knowing the cause of the problem and its extension to file a claim and that I waited a period too long because there was a presence of mold but experts say that mold could star growing or building up in 24 hours not necessarily after weeks or years. So what that means is that they do not care and want to honor my valid and legitimate claim denying it by unreasonable and miserable excuses.

My family and I have expended about $ 15,000 dollars to fix those damages but until now Allstate has already forgotten my claim leaving me alone without the veracity and validity of my undeniable real claim and putting me just aside even after being more than 20 years their loyal customer.

Desired outcome: I politely request my claim to be reconsidered and honor for the amount of $ 15, 000 dollars which is the amount to cover the expenses incurred and money used to rebuild the damaged rooms of my house.Thank you

It is unfare and dishonest to take advantage and without all the facts deny a legitimate claim giving it for a closed case when we were not aware of the size or the origen of the problem until the plumber came in and checked.it out.

Allstate Insurance Car Accident Claim # [protected]

I was in a car accident Sept 27 and my car was totaled. I have tried calling, emailing to get answers as to All State reimbursing me for my car but have been totally ignored. Stay on hold for 45 minutes without having a human being answer, sending email requests for a resolution without any response. After being an AllState customer for years this is very disappointing.

Allstate Insurance Wind and Hail damage to roof

Allstate inspected roof twice, SouthEastern roofing inspected it twice and they said it could be repaired. My policy was prorated at 49% based on age and I do not live in a crappy subdivision. Repair would look ugly.

Water was coming in thru the garage roof and the sheetrock was wet.

Allstate dragged their feet and refused to pay the claim.

I had no choice but to hire an affordable roofer and get the roof repaired promptly.

Based on the number of class action lawsuits against Allstate for non payment of auto and home owners claims I do not recommend Allstate.

Allstate Insurance Auto insurance

Policy was miss handled. Started policy 9/1/22 received letter of cancelation about 10/10/22 for 11/02/22. Was not notified of need for more documents to process new policy. When answered letter by phone, I sent the documents by email and was told it would 5+days to verify and process. Called on 10/24/22 to see if documents were received and verified and was told insurance would be canceled on 11/02/22 still need other documents to process and that it could take 1 to 3 weeks to verify and process. If I had not called to check on documents sent, would have not known of other documents needed. The processing time would leave me uninsured and that was not satisfactory for my benefit since my car is financed. I fell this all could have been handle very differently with a simple courtesy phone call stating what needed to be done to retain service and giving enough time to get everything done in a timely manner. To me, it was bad business and handle very wrong, cause undo stress to my well being. I was not in good hands with Allstate. I had to start a new policy with another company to insure I had coverage and to pay out a large sum of money to get the coverage I need to operate my vehicle. Very upset that this was not handle properly, request a refund of all money paid in to this policy

Allstate Insurance Tamela Winston, claims adjuster

I have been working with Allstate since one of their insured drivers hit my vehicle in August. I have never had such a difficult experience trying to get an issue resolved. Tamela Winston is the claims adjuster that was assigned this case and I can never reach her. I have called multiple times, emailed so many times, and called the claims line with no success. I have done all of the work required to get my vehicle repaired, to get a rental vehicle, and to take care of any other issues that have arisen. The one time I have actually spoken with her, she was rude and wouldn’t listen to anything I was saying. I’ve been able to speak with other adjusters who have tried to help but are unable to because she is the assigned person. I still can’t get my claim settled or any out of pocket expenses reimbursed.

We are very concern about this matter at hand, after reviewing the online report we notice the date of loss is not correct and picture from the inside of the garage where the mold was on the ceiling after being torn out which now shows roof dent/break in plywood damage/mold is missing. Which is now exposed and causing health issues. 7/26/2022 Gregg Boles came out and after reviewing all the visible damage, the bent gutter, mold he requested we have the molded damage ceiling tore out.

After finding someone reasonable we had it torn out. We then sent pictures to show the damaged areas and molded areas due to the tree falling on the roof. We have been working with many different agents

We have been spraying the molded area with bleach to kill the mold.

My husband and I are becoming sick with itchy eyes, congestion, coughing as well as our son who has asthma and our granddaughter is now coughing, now that we had the garage ceiling tore out that had mold on it.

I had it all covered when the adjuster came out, but as he requested so that all the damage could be seen, we had it tore out which now is wide open and mold spores are in the air and causing everyone in the house to become sick.

The 1st Claim # [protected] Tree limb fell on roof during severe storm

We received this letter on 9/19/2022

As part of your claim, you have requested Allstate Vehicle and Property Insurance Company to provide coverage for your garage roof shingles and interior drywall containing cracks in the ceiling and mold. We are unable to provide coverage for this damage because of the following provision in your policy which states:

We protected the roof, we had it covered, and removed the tree, so that the tree/limbs would not fall on the house.

How do we do repairs and know that Allstate will reimburse us?

I emailed JIM WINTERS 10/29/21 trying to contact someone to come back out and look at the roof, after my contractor and another contractor came.

Allstate Vehicle and Property Insurance Company sent an email on 10/13/2020

1st adjuster that came out was MR. RICKY STRICKLAND

Per Mr. Strickland the contractor did a bad job and lied about putting down the rain and ice shield roof paper. He then pulled back a few pieces and said to look as he pointed to the area and said there is none there.

Due to Covid –19 it took some time for the contractor to come out.

After the contractor came and showed me what the rain and ice shield look like and He told me the adjuster was just doing his job placing the blame on the contractor.

Per contractor roofing materials on the undamaged part of the roof are correctly installed and not defective so the issue isn’t with installation or materials.

Since then, there have been 3 different roof contractors to give an estimate to repair and all 3 stated there is a Rain and Ice Shield on the roof. Since the roof is fairly new. The contractors stated there is a dent which is all that is needed on the roof to cause problems.

The roof was installed on 9/2013 with new plywood, water and ice guard, 25 years black shingles.

We spent $18,000 on framing and roofing repairs.

We have no control over tropical storms, hail, or tornadoes but we have covered the damage area.

We have always spoken highly about Allstate when we heard about other people home being denied we didn’t believe it. I have recommended Allstate to my family and friends.

I even convinced my mother to stay with Allstate after my father passed away, I felt like Allstate would not let us down.

Over 45 plus years Auto, Home, Rental Property and a Critical Illness policy I have trusted I was in good hands with Allstate.

At this point I'm very disappointed at the outcome, we have paid our monthly premiums for many years.

Allstate Insurance Adjuster's review of a car accident claim and the allocation of liability for the accident

I am writing with respect to Allstate Claim:[protected], which concerns a car accident that took place on September 25, 2022. The accident took place as I was backing out of a parking spot and was blindsided by another car that was driving in reverse at a speed of more than 20 mph. When I was hit, this individual had already been driving in reverse for more than 50 feet, or almost the entire length of this parking lot. I had only backed up a few inches - I was not in the right of way, I sent records showing my car was still within the lines of the parking space when I was hit, which meant that the other driver - again driving at high speed for more than 50 feet - had also inadvertently swerved into an area where cars were parked. Also, because of the fact that he was driving backwards, I could not see his car coming as I would have if he was driving with the hood ahead of rather than behind the steering wheel. This was on a church parking lot where children and others were walking, and the driver's recklessness could have led to serious injuries to those on foot.

I explained all this to my adjuster, but he was utterly unable to grasp the recklessness of the other driver and the irresponsibility of backing up at high speed for more than 50 feet on a parking lot. Instead, he told me in our initial call that it "looked bad" that I had not seen this person coming, as I should have before I began backing up. He simply could not recognize that the reason I couldn't see him was because he was in reverse, and absolutely no part of his car was in my field of vision until the point where the back of his car collided with mine.

When the claim was resolved, my adjuster applied 80% of the liability to me, again on the basis that I should have seen the other driver in the "right of way" which, again, he had swerved out of.

I was able to receive damages on my car, and the damages to both vehicles were not large. However, I simply cannot accept a finding of 80% liability applied to me for the accident. It is 100% certain that the other driver's recklessness and irresponsibility both led directly to the crash (I was still essentially parked when I was hit), and it is also 100% true that if the deiver had been driving forward instead of in reverse, at high speed, the front of his vehicle would have been in my field of vision and I would have applied my breaks immediately.

I am generally very happy with my experience at Allstate and the quality of the personnel I have dealt with on all matters of my car and home insurance, with the exception of how this accident was reviewed and resolved. The adjuster was either unable or unwilling to consider the full context or the situation and the recklessness that led to the crash, and instead relied on a simplistic view of "right of way" which was not even supported by the facts.

Desired outcome: The adjuster told me his decision was final. I would like a separate review of the accident and to have 100% of liability re-assigned to the other driver.

Allstate Insurance Online Quote Services

I went online to get a quote to bundle my condo and auto insurance. I was asked detailed questions and provided my banking info after I was told I was insured by Allstate. Later I found out that Allstate wasn't going to insure me due to a couple of claims I had with prior condo insurance. I requested a credit back to my account for the initial cost paid upfront. Now I receive a letter from Allstate indicating I owe a balance.

The name is Peggy Schlenker. I was given a temporary ID card for the auto insurance with the temporary policy number [protected] with an effective date of Oct. 5, 2022. I was under the impression that the bundled insurance was cancelled. I refuse to pay the "unpaid" balance as I wasn't officially signed up. Please take me off your records as being insured by Allstate. You should have record of me since I signed up on your website.

Desired outcome: Send me a zero balance owed letter.

Allstate Insurance Incorrect billing reported to my credit report

I terminated my homeowner's policy with Allstate last year (2021) due to poor service. I submitted a claim of water damage in November of 2020 and the claims adjusted never showed up. I got a call from the adjuster in February of 2021 inquiring if I still had the water problem... and I hung up the phone up. The monthly cost for this policy was set up on auto draft from my bank account debit card ending in 8327. Several months after the policy was terminated I was sent a bill indicating that I owed $59 dollars due to an accounting error. I refused to pay this extra charge because it was not my fault that the accounting dept. made an error in closing out this policy that provided very poor service. In the meantime, a negative report was sent to the credit agency indicating that I was several months delinquent on this payment. This false negative payment report, caused my credit score to decrease 51 points! I truly do not believe that Allstate Insurance Company is at fault regarding this mistake but I do know that this happened due to poor personnel performance. Can you please investigate this issue and correct this error?

Desired outcome: Provide the credit agencies with a positive report on this issue and remove the $59 dollar error from my account. In turn, I promise that if you fulfill this request, I will not sue (TORT) for this costly error to me.

Allstate Insurance Home and flood insurance.

Several months ago I went looking for insurance to cover my home in the mountains of Colorado. Because I live in the mountains I know there are fewer insurance companies that will cover my home. Because of this in my original interview process I told Allstate that the home was located in the mountains amongst the trees which cannot be removed according to some of the required distances of some insurance companies. Removal of the trees would cost tens of thousands of dollars and would mean that I would have to remove trees from my neighbors properties as well as government properties behind us. I have however made MANY improvements to be able to resist and fight off fires. I included many pictures of the house that they would be interested in, showing the circumstances and what I have done to resist fire. So I repeat, I told them not to go any further if 1- they didn't ensuring the mountains or 2 - if these situation would prohibit me from getting insurance from them. The brokerage assured me that they could insure the house and indeed wrote a policy which I paid and all seemed OK. A short while later I got a notice that my policy was canceled for the very reason that I had tried to warn them about, but now of course I had canceled my other policy and transferred my cars and flood insurance to this company of Allstate. Now I will have two cancellations that were unnecessary and I'm hunting for insurance again. A little while after that I got a notice from my mortgage company that my flood coverage was only $10,000 and needed to be $250,000 (I told them to cover the minimum the lender required). When I called the brokerage they told me that instead of the several hundred dollars (I normally pay and originally did here) it would increase the policy to over $4000 to do so. Having a hard time believing this I started looking into the problem and found out that FEMA had indeed immensely increased flood policy costs. (Risk location Level AE = $3.6K to $7.0K) Being extremely frustrated I started doing homework and in a day or two I found a top rated company out of Utah that would indeed ensure it for $250,000 at a cost of $650. To be certain I am not a price shopper. (my previous insurer had screwed up my payments causing FEMA to cancel me and whose Home Insurer was no longer going to cover my location area) What I was looking for was one location for all of my insurance needs. What should be noted is in 50 some odd years I have never had an insurance claim. It was the change of the insurance agencies and availability that made me go hunting and I found ALLSTATE which I deeply regret and have since replaced.

Desired outcome: This agency clearly needs to be looked into as to their practices. I can speculate on motives but I'd rather have an investigation to find out what the real reasons were

Allstate Insurance Claim ADJ Auto Tec Cons Auto 610 Jonathan Fichman

The Estimate was done on September the 8th. (Claim#[protected]) I have called and email Mr. Fichman and the total loss Dept at [protected] and keep hearing the same old reason why this matter for the my truck is not settle. I have sent a copy of my title and still being asked the same question and being told that Mr. Fichman is not doing his part. I sent him Mr. Fichman a message on 10/04/22 and he called me on 10/05/22 stating that this would be taken care of by 1145hr central time. I checked the website and nothing was done as he stated. I called in to the total loss department and the rep called Mr. fichman and got his voice mail. The rep left a message telling Mr. Fichman to update his paperwork. I was ask t send a copy of my title in which I did. I'm trying to handle this matter on my own, but I can not get anything resolve.

Desired outcome: I need you'll to settle this matter. I was not offered a rental during this whole time while truck been down.

Allstate sent me checks for the claim.

I paid the roofing company and after a few days

Allstate returned a check.

I complained about the wrong check, but Allstate says it's not their fault and they're not responsible. I have lost money and I am suffering.

This wouldn't have happened if Allstate had done the right thing and hadn't issued the wrong check.

Where should I appeal to the injustice I am experiencing?

Allstate Insurance Damage to my vehicle in a traffic accident

On September 13, 2022 my car was involved in a traffic accident with your insured driver, James Talberth. James was at fault and cited for the accident. I have a claim number, [protected]. I was told to call Keith Roland at [protected]. I left many messages. I finally talked to him on September 28, 2022 and told me he does not do estimates. He told me to call Tamela Winston at [protected]. I did call that day, left a message and never heard back. I wrote to her on the Allstate website. No reply. I am running out of patience. I need an estimate from Allstate for the damages to my car from the accident that James Talberth caused! The car is not drivable, so the adjuster will have to come to my home. Allstate Insurance Bad Faith Policy

I contacted your Shawnee Oklahoma Agents to insure a real estate investment property. I told them the residence had not anyone living in it for over 15 years and I would be totally renovating it. The agent told me no problem, wrote m a policy and shortly after I received a letter telling me I would be cancelled within 30 days because shingles were bad, siding was bad and debris was on the front porch. No Kidding this is a total renovation and I was in the middle of a tearout. Since I put a new roof on the property, replaced the siding, hauled off all debris, replaced windows, upgraded electric from knob and tube to 200 amp service and romex wiring, upgraded all sewage and plumbing. I was cancelled 9/16. I am a property investor in Northeastern Oklahoma and will never consider using all state again after the way I have been treated by this agent. I was very upfront about the description of my property and feel this policy was written in bad faith. I will share my experience with fellow investors in the groups I am part of. I know nothing can or will be done about my situation but wanted to share with you my frustrating experience.

Desired outcome: Couldn't imagine what could be done at this point to remedy my situation.
