All My Sons Moving & Storage Misleading estimate

This is a copy of the email I sent that nobody responded to.

BOL: 1750559

Hi

When I was given the estimate it was for 2 movers but 3 people showed up. I was quoted as 169.99 and after looking at the bill I was charged 229. They called me at 11:41 and told me they'd be there in 15 minutes- they did not arrive at 11:45 as the bill states. It was after noon. Why am I being charged for the one hour travel (at 229.00 nonetheless) AND 2.75 hours that was really maybe 2.25- if even that? There are many inconsistencies in the bill which do not add up to me after I've had time to go through it. I don't even know if they used the supplies they charged me for... except the wardrobe box, which they put already packed items in- which seemed unnecessary to do so. They maybe used a roll or two of tape, and I didn't have a mirror so I didn't need a mirror box...

$928.00 to move a small studio apartment? That seems very fishy to me.

I asked them for the total before we left my apartment and the head guy said he'd give me the total once we got to the location- he would not tell me how much it would be for at the original place. We arrived at the location and the estimate was more than $300 over the estimate and as he stated, it was clear that I had to pay first to get possession of my stuff. Fine. I get that, you don't want customers to not pay- makes sense. I am a reasonable person after all.

I didn't have an excess amount of things- I didn't keep track but I doubt 3 guys took almost 3 hours to move 25 boxes, a bed, and a chair. They arrived after noon, and were done moving me by 1:45, so all together, it was under the 2 hour minimum, with travel time. I am not sure where they got the 2:30pm end time? I left the storage unit and went directly to the hotel I was staying at. I checked in early (check in was supposed to be at 3 and I checked in at 2:15 I believe; I can ask the hotel for proof if needed)

I also found the guys to be a bit unprofessional when asking for tips. They dropped hints often, and the leader of the crew told me a tip is generally 50-100 per person. I went online before they came and it said that a general tip for a mover is $10-20 for a standard move, which mine definitely was. I was prepared to give the TWO movers I was promised $30-$40 if they did a great job as I believe in tipping well. To price guage me in paying for a 3rd person then expect $300 in tips is outlandish. I was a wreck as it was due to some circumstances going on, and I did not read carefully or realize the inaccuracies.

The movers were quick and efficient, and took good care of my stuff. I am, however, extremely unhappy and disappointed in the financial side of this move. I hope this is not your company policy and that you do not condone this type of thing. As professional as the men were with my time and belongings, I won't be recommending your company to any friends or family. I don't want loved ones to get taken advantage of.

Sincerely

Julie Salerno

BOL: 1750559

Desired outcome: Respond to email; charge me for 2 movers, not 3, at 169.99 per hour, not 229.00. Refund me the difference of travel time as well.

All My Sons Moving & Storage Local move

All I can say is I was told great things by all the rep's that I talked to leading up to my move. As my wife and I prepped and waited anxiously I received a call from Bryan the Manager 30 minutes before they were suppose to arrive saying that they could no move us on Friday but they could possibly on Tuesday. We pleaded for him to please assign a driver from another route but there was no back up plan. We were about to have nowhere to stay. No one ever came so we frantically searched and searched all day. Finally we found a new startup with 2 guys to move us. As we were moving I saw All my Son's Truck's moving people up and down Hwy 70 in the Garner/Raleigh area. What a slap in the face. We were either doubled booked or just blatantly discriminated against.

Desired outcome: We got the deposit back but that pain still exists as I can not believe other routes ran that day.We should have been offered pay to move us due to the horrible stress we went through. I think anyone would have been very annoyed.

All My Sons Moving & Storage Customer service, damage, breakage, large theft

1st we started out w/ $7+K estimate--for a 5 mi. pack/move. The est. included $1K for fuel. I complained to the boss. He said trucks only get 3.5 mpg. I won't look for where they buy fuel. Then tried $13K at destination. I said 'F*** YOU!' to the guy & walked back to my p/up. Next, they are closing up and leaving. Boss call at our home, $9,5++.00. I was dead tired, so said OK. Got to new house and doing some stuff inside. House got quiet, so I went out to see. The 60 ft. carport was filled top to bottom, side to outside, and out five feet onto street, and on front yard. I gave the Forman the house key and told him I wanted all of that furniture in the house, and it locked up. I went home to get some badly needed sleep. Next morning, we got back to house. the house was wide open and furniture still out on the street. Later in the week when we were finally able to start unpacking, I found my coin collection, value of $100K was missing, a sterling silver set of flat ware and other silver was missing, and numerous other items. My wife and I are in our upper seventies and this has got to be the worst ever move for us. Nobody here or in Texas will say anything about the theft. The latest is that we're too late telling them. I have a copy of my email to the BBB dated in time. Not only are they lousy thieves, but lousy liars. I've told them I want my coins back. I was told by a contractor that we need to keep track of the time we spend doing what the movers should have done, and we can bill the movers at the same rate they billed us, $450.00/hr. For 850 hrs. that amounts to $382,500.00, plus the $100K for my coins and another $600.00 for my $2.00 bills, If they have sold them, I'll take $4K for them, which is the value of them. I would add photos, but formatting is wrong.

Desired outcome: I've told them I want my coins back. I was told by a contractor that we need to keep track of the time and we can bill them at the same rate they billed us, $450.00/hr.

All My Sons Moving & Storage End table glass and billing

I have tried contacting All My Sons in Carrollton, Tx by phone and email since May 31,2022. On May 26, 2022 I paid a $500 deposit for a scheduled move on May 28, 2022 after 1:00PM. The address I moved from was 1826 Plantation Rd Garland, Tx 75044 and moved to 1504 Helmoken Falls Dr Anna, Tx 75409. I explained I would be at my new Home in Anna, Tx doing a walk through, signing paperwork and picking up my keys. The Dispatcher stated he would make note and quoted me an estimate of $1300. When the mover's arrived around 1:30pm, I spoke with Brandon and explained what would need to be moved in which rooms. There were 3 tables in the living room, 1 being a coffee table and the other 2 end tables. All had glass in the middle. I watched one of the movers take the glass out of each one and wrapped them in bubble wrap and set them each aside. Once at the new address, I was directing what went where and saw the tables were brought in the living room. I ask the mover about the glass and he stated he stated he was about to bring it in. Brandon then brought the final bill to me and it was $2,101.82? I ask why the bill was so high? He said I would be getting a refund of $300 because the time had actually stopped. I question the Billing because it was very high! I ask him about the deposit paid of $500. He said that had gone towards the move. So, I paid $500 then charged $2,101.82? Made no sense to me. Brandon said the refund of $300 would be returned and any other charges I would need to call and speak to the Office. I told him I did not want to sign the documentation because it was incorrect. He stated again, I would need to contact the Office in Carrollton, Tx about the issue. I paid the Bill then went to check if everything was out of the truck. One of the mover's said everything was out of the truck and they do except tips! I thought this was out of line but it was very hot and wanted to tip something! I ask where the glass was put and was told it was in the living room. There were other furniture items with glass and were found but not the glass for my coffee table and 2 end tables. I then called the Carrollton location on Tuesday and was told there was no record of me being moved. The person I was speaking with put me on hold to check all the other locations and stated there was no record of me being moved by my name, phone number or CID account #9112938. I explained that I was moved on Saturday and there are still boxes everywhere in my home. I even stated I could email all my documentation showing when I moved and what I was charged. Was advised there was no Account #, name or phone number matching in their system. I then began emailing and calling up to this point. I have been put on hold for up to 30 minutes or more until I hung up and have sent 4 emails with no reply. The total costs for the coffee table and end tables were close to $1200. I am needing to know why I was charged the amount I was charged of $2,101.82, plus a $500 deposit and did not get a refund of $300 as told by Brandon. I would really appreciate this matter to be resolved. I am aware of the 90 day claim process. I wanted to reach out and see if I could get this resolved using this method or if I needed to file the next step to have this problem resolved. My email is [protected]@yahoo.com and my cell # is [protected]. Thank You, Darla Roberson

Desired outcome: Please refund the glass $1200 and the adjustment on my Bill of at least $700.

All My Sons Moving & Storage Mover

A quote was given after explaining exactly what was in my home for $239 per hour for four men and a 26 foot truck. It was given over the phone and then confirmed via email. When speaking on the phone with Tyler I was told that it should take from 9-4ish and they would be able to pack the items up in the home and then go to the storage unit near the new home to load items and unload at the new house. However day of 8/31/22 only three men were sent out. While they did lower the price to $209 an hour it cut down severely on productivity. By 1:45pm they were claiming the truck was full and they would take no more items leaving us stuck with things still at the home and in the storage unit. I spoke with Bob who was the manager about the issue and he was extremely rude and short and stated we understated the job and an estimate should have been done by the company in person not on the phone which I explained I can’t control that. He refused to help initially and the stated if they had time they would go to the storage unit. I explained our lease was up today and it has to be cleared out. After a lot of back and forth he stated he would send another team at the hourly rate to get it packed up and delivered to our home. When the first truck arrived at the new home they would not unload until payment was made which went from an estimated amount which was confirmed several times leading up to the move of around [protected] to now over $4700. When we said no that is crazy the driver left with our items. We were forced to pay the amount in order to receive the items. The manager Bob was inconsiderate, degrading towards me and my husband, and also rude beyond belief. He would not work with us on the price and kept claiming the $1200 was final for the other truck at the storage unit which equals out to 6 hours of labor and they only completed 2 1/2. He stated if they worked less time he would adjust it however now the final charge is more than what he initially said. The job went from an estimated amount of [protected] to double that plus some. The management staff was horrible to work with. This company needs to be reviewed closely that they are abiding by all laws.

Desired outcome: Refund partially of money

All My Sons Moving & Storage Damaged valuable art, poor furniture set up, rude lead team member, damaged walls

I moved Aug. 13th from San Antonio to New Braunfels Texas. I had been given a quote for moving and told that I would receive credit for what was removed from the original list. I packed up at least 45 boxes of an anticipated 55...my washer and dryer was removed from the list, as was an over-sized chair and excercis bicycle.

I was only given minimal credit for these items.

The movers left the boxes and packing materials they had not used in my garage and said they couldn't fit in the van and they could not come back to get them when I was available...I need everything to be out of my old home that day as I was putting it on the market and the realtors needed everything cleared out. I was told they were too busy to pick up the items left behind.

The movers put my very heavy dressier and headboard too close to the wall...so I am unable to access the plugs behind them.

The movers scraped my walls and placed labeled boxes in incorrect rooms. Plugs and wires for televisions and other electronics were not kept together.

Today I unpacked some very valuable paintings and discovered that the paintings themselves had been scratched ...which devalues the paintings..

I have many boxes to unpack and am concerned about other issues I may discover .

By the end of my move the lead mover was talking back and being rude.

All My Sons has not tried to resolve my issues...they said they would pick up the unused boxes at their convenience which was not an option, as I needed the house to be totally cleared out that day. I had to finish moving items they did not take.

I asked for a refund for my issues, but have not been contacted and have b been ignored.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate contact from a manager or owner .....with some suggested reparations....including moving my furniture off the walls.....and payment for restoration of my valuable paintings

All My Sons Moving & Storage Jermain, supervisor, Mike, rusty.

finally CLEMENTE took care of me today. Moved on August 4th and Jermain promised to send a hard copy of my receipt through the mail. Today is August 16th and JERMAIN is out of the office. Rusty and Mike both hung up on me and refused to help me. Clemente said the he sent a copy of my receipt just now. I was pressured into providing a good review for the two workers and was pleased that they finally got my things moved. The younger worker, of the two men did all of the work while the other older guy hung out mostly in the truck. Jermain said that he was sending and that I was paying for two men. I felt badly for the older guy because he suffered from back problems and so did not complain. You lied to me saying that I would receive two men but in reality I received only one and a half workers. The wasted time farting around and deliberately moving slowly. Also, I am most unhappy with JERMAIN as he completely conned us and charged us extra money at the end. Also when the two guys arrived the wasted time going over all of the charges and making me fill out a form online. I had already answered all of the questions and had all of my things properly packed into blue boxes — all alike. I could have loaded all of the boxes into a uhaul truck in about 30 minutes and only hired your company because I am 66 years old and suffer with severe arthritis. They farted around carrying one box at a time and disappeared frequently out into the truck. My front yard was not wet and they could have backed their truck up to the front porch but said that they could not since my yard was wet. Instead they walked all the way out from my front porch around to the side street where they had parked — done deliberately to waste more time. I had no furniture and just a few folding tables and light weight folding chairs. We tipped them $200.00 cash because JERMAIN said that we should and honestly they worked hard but just did not seem to know how to work efficiently. Jermain strong armed us at the end charging us extra money for extra time — unnecessary high pressured theft and robbery. I have 5,000 facebook friends that I could have refered but now I want to tell them to NEVER use ALL MY SONS because they lie, cheat, con and fart off.. vicki silver

Desired outcome: refund us $300.00 because you deliberately wasted time and in the end JERMAIN conned us into paying this amount over what they had twice promised.

Update by Vicki Renee Silver
Aug 16, 2022 3:17 pm EDT

JERMAIN "strong armed" us at the end forcing us to pay an extra $300.00. His guys worked hard but not efficiently as the older of the two spent most of his time out in the truck. They wasted time deliberately parking out on the side street saying that my front yard was wet and they could not just simply back their truck up to the front porch. This was a lie because my front yard was dry and they could have shortened time wasted by parking, backing up to the porch. I own the house and have no grass on this lawn as it is mostly little rocks. Also they mostly carried one box at a time instead of stacking and rolling them out. All of the boxes were plastic with lids and all just alike. The drive over from NLR to LIttle Rock took about an hour because the drove at 40 miles per hour. After we arrived at Little Rock address the older guy spend most of the time out in the truck doing nothing. I don't blame him because he said he had back problems but whenever JERMAIN promised two men he lied because we only got one and a half. vicki silver

All My Sons Moving & Storage Moving

I was moved by your company on 6//20/22 although the movers was very nice it took very long for the move and the packing and items i was charged for didn’t match what i received. I ended up rapping some of my on items to speed up the process. Not to mention they dropped my night stand off the truck ! They didn’t protect my end tables they wasn’t rapped at all and they got damaged. Every time I’ve moved i moved myself and never broke or damaged my stuff I’m a little disappointed because i was assured by the company that these were professional movers! They gave me two of the smallest movers ever! And the cost was ridiculous! I feel i was over charged and not protected I’ll never use again.

Disappointed

Desired outcome: Pay for the damage to my night stand

All My Sons Moving & Storage Claims department

I have over 600 dollars worth of damages. I just bought a newly build house and I wanted professional movers. I called All My Sons Moving company. I moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom home which was about 8 minutes from each other. I paid 1044.10. They damaged my door, my walls, ceilings and wooden railing. I put in a claims packet and only received 250.00 for over 600.00 worth of damage. A claims representative never spoke to me but sent a document asking me to sign and send it back or they will cancel the claim. In the middle of the print was a settlement for 250 dollars. I'm frustrated and overly tired from moving with toddlers, the last thing I want is to worry about is reading fine prints. They will not work with me because they said its a closed case, I should have caught it sooner. Very deceitful and poor communication. Do not use this company unless you want pay for damages. They are counting on you being to busy to read the fine print.

Desired outcome: Re-open my claim and allow me to give an estimate of damages.

All My Sons Moving & Storage I would like my things back!!!

Quoted me 400 to move contents of one bedroom (not a one bedroom apartment, one bedroom) 7 minutes away to an apartment. Crew talked on the phone, stood around, and would carry one small item at a time — deliberately slow and running up time on the move. I had them stop and unload half of my items at a storage unit. I was in the middle of a semester as a teaching assistant at the University of Houston and had to wait until the semester was over to empty the storage. I have emptied it and am missing a box that was clearly marked jewelry and watches. The last time I saw the box was in my old location. I have been in the storage several times to organize and never saw it — but it didnt click that it was completely missing until now. The office will not help me, and based on the 1245.00 bill they gave me at the end of the move, they know exactly what is happening. I went and checked reviews and on yelp alone, they have over 150 terrible reviews of the same inflated bill, broken belongings that are taped back to hide it, and stolen items.

Desired outcome: They are not worth a large amount of money, maybe 3-4000.00 but have sentimental value to me. I trusted them!!!! They need to have consequences for how they treat their customers.

All My Sons Moving & Storage Poor service and charges for stuff not provided

We were making a move from Missouri with 2 families and just looked up moving companies in the area to help unload trucks. I believe the number routed through a third party company. They quoted 509 dollars for up to 2 hours charged to my credit card. Company called me to verify time and location. After they showed up they had page after page of electronic forms to sign and initial. Not enough time to read carefully. After looking it over they quoted 917 for 4 hours plus a 100 dollar deposit which I assume they had already received. We had to get it done so I approved it. They lead guy on the 3 man team couldn't go 15 minutes without a smoke break. I watched them damage a dresser while carrying it through a doorway. They tilted it so the drawers slid open against the door frame. It was an older dresser that was not in perfect shape. I pointed out damage and asked them to be careful. No harm at this point. After they finished and left found they had badly chipped the molding on top of a nice oak China hutch. Too late to complain after they are already gone. We looked at statements after they left and they charged us 56 dollars for paying material that they never used. They didn't pack anything. It was already loaded and packed in trucks when they got here. It may be too late for us but posting reviews so others don't get burnt. It is odd if you look up the company on Google it shows they are closed.

All My Sons Moving & Storage Money back and apology

Three weeks ago I contacted your company to move my items from Ft Worth to Weatherford. Three different times I had to confirm my move for a two man crew $139.00 an hour/four hour minimum. The day before I was to be moved I was contacted and told I could move to a different day or they only had a three man crew for $189.00. I let that go and went ahead with the move. I was told I was the 2nd move of the day and that was fine that they start wrapping up by 4pm. I called on Saturday to get an estimated time and asked for a call back, I never received one and an hour and a half later I called back and was told they were wrapping up by 2:30 and would get a call an hour before. So I went to Weatherford to unload a few things since we had been waiting and of course they call and say they are 30-40 minutes. My husband rushed back to them and once he got there the three man crew one of the guys was allergic to cats and the others were complaining of how much we had. I got a call from Trace in that office - who is highly unprofessional and his only way of dealing with anything is to hang up on people. Come to fund out the only thing I left out (by accident) on the 3rd confirmation I made was our gun safe. When the movers were sitting there for over an hour complaining - about the company (All my Sons) and telling him they were not going to move our boxes which were told from the beginning that were to be moved. No work done still at this time, Trace has hung up on me and my husband at least three times a piece. I work for a title company and I know that customer service is important to me and should be to your company but we never got to move on Saturday nor did anyone call us back, we had asked to speak to the general manager and still have not received a phone call. This is the worst experience I could ever imagine. I expect a refund of my deposit as no one other than Chase there was helpful at all. He even said to us if it was his choice he would refund us the deposit for what we went through. He has seemed to be the only one to even call us back. Trace is awful and should be let go, his customer service skills are ridiculous! Also your general manager is not calling back and just avoiding the whole situation. I expect this to be made right! We still have not moved into our home and your workers complained over an hour about some items that took him and I 30 minutes to load up. I expect a call back from your corporate office on how to rectify this situation.

Also the guy that was allergic to cats told my husband he has a moving business on the side and can move us for cheaper. (is this the kind of people you want running your company?)

All My Sons Moving & Storage Packing and moving

Contacted with these jokers for 11 mile move $5700.00. No numbered tags on boxes, took side boards off for four poster bed and didn't pack with headboard and footboard. Removed pendant from 150 year old grandfather clock did not afix to clock.
They ran out of packing materials, had NO SUPERVISION, and one guy left - who knows what he took with him?
Promised 2 trucks - only one .
After the two days they were scheduled, not one room was completely packed or empty.
Placed heavy marble table tops on glass tables .
Wrapped furniture they were told we were not taking.
That's not all.
Then there's the phone calls and piss poor communication between everyone working there. Each blames the other & estimator said the failure in accuracy was because he could not make the estimate without me . I'm not a freaking estimator!
I was told underestimates happen all the time "no big deal" . DECEPTIVE.
Was told they would complete move for an additional 2500.00 . No one ever called back to make good on promises to correct.
I think these sons.. need to go to rehab.

All My Sons Moving & Storage Moving

All My Sons Moving & Storage gave me an estimate to move us 3.4 miles. From one home to another home. The estimate was for $5700.00. It was for packing and moving. I gave them a $1000.0 deposit. April 20th they were supposed to supply 2 trucks and 6 people. What we got was 1 truck and 5 people. They ran out of supplies in 2 hours to pack. They then waited until around 3 pm for more supplies to be delivered. Packing resumed and loading the truck started. We were then told they would not have time to deliver that day. They were going to leave everything on the truck until the next morning. They had all our beds loaded. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, so a motel was out of the question. However we were told for a sizeable tip they would see to it that our beds would be delivered and set up. I then went to a ATM and withdrew $300.00 and gave it to the driver. They then delivered all they had loaded on the truck and set up our beds. They finished at 5:30 pm. I was then charged $4630.75. The next day 2 trucks showed up and 5 men. At this point I did not need 2 trucks, but that is what I was being charged for anyway. They packed some more loaded the truck and delivered the furniture. They would not unload the furniture unless I paid the bill for the next day which was $3730.25. This is a total of $9361.00 for a $5700.00 estimate. Which I had to tip to have a place to sleep. One of their employees also got into some of our food, fixed himself a meal and drank all the Cokes we had. He also ate some York chocolate mints and threw the Coke bottles and York wrappers on the floor. My wife and I are seniors on a fixed income and both have health issues. They did not get all the items they were supposed to move. So we are trying to move them ourselves. This sounds like some unbelievable scenario, but this is what has happened. I would not recommend this company out of the Norwood office to anyone.

Desired outcome: At least give us a proper refund.

All My Sons Moving & Storage My move from Hueytown AL to Birmingham AL

The movers I had was not professional and they took numerous smoke breaks. My company is paying for the move and they are trying to take advantage of that fact. So Friday April 23 was my move and they showed up at 8:30am and was supposed to do all my packing and moving according to the quote. They didn't get me packed until noon and then started to put stuff in the truck. When 2:30pm rolled around and only had a third of my stuff in the truck they told me that it was time to go to the new place and unload. I told them that they didn't have all my stuff moved on the truck yet and they said they would be back tomorrow which was saturday April 24th. I called the office and ask why wasn't I told that I was scheduled for a 2 day move and all Roddrick could say was that they was sorry. The next day only one showed up that was there from the day before and he brought 2 new guys which had to be told what to do. When it got to my basement they said it was against safety policy that they couldn't load anything with mice droppings and got mad and left leaving everything in my basement and the fourwheeler which all was in the quote before the move. They broke my great grandmothers rocking chair and broke my banister in the new house. I talked to the main guy in the office and he told me that they had to leave because time was over and that they couldn't move the rest of my stuff. I had to hire 2 other guys to move the rest of my stuff which cost me $500 out of my own pocket. Now they are demanding $4700 which was quoted to me at $3167.

Desired outcome: They are getting paid what was the original quote and really don't deserve that!

All My Sons Moving & Storage move from dallas to corpus christi

I called and talked to Joe the sales at All My sons in Dallas. Gave him the pickup address and drop off address. He said he would charge me a flat rate of $2, 200 plus labor at $104 pr hr which would make the total about $2, 500.
The next day AFTER they took my $500 deposit their followup guy called and said now its going to be $3, 100 plus labor in Corpus. He also said the balance would be charged in Corpus once they unload.
Now the morning of the move and once they get my daughters stuff on their truck they call and demand FULL payment and said they will also charge for labor in Corpus.
Beware of this company. The fact that they supposedly are the Dallas Cowboys moving company says ALLOT about the Cowboy organization.

All My Sons Moving & Storage household goods held hostage

We contracted with All My Sons Moving in May 2018 for a mid-June move. 'Richard' was the sales rep. We toured the home and detached buildings and he said one truck should do it. Well they showed-up 19 June around 9AM and moving process began. Around noon truck was halfway full and 'Andreus' (crew chief) remarked that, "We may need to make two trips." I replied, "Well let's see where we are in a couple of hours". At approx. 2PM I was told again that 2nd trip may be required and again I said "Let's wait and see". At approx. 4PM it was for sure truck was not big enough by approx. 1/4 and we still had many pieces of furniture and other goods upstairs.
I determined I would not pay for 2nd trip and immediately drove to Whitewright (five miles away) and picked-up a 10X6 U-Haul trailer. Upon arrival my wife had said she had talked to 'Richard' and he said his crew was still on the clock and would bring all the furniture down from upstairs. No problem, right?. As the crew was doing this, my wife and I started to move left-over HHG to trailer and we (wife and I) would load everything. During this process, 'Andreus' approached me and stated crew would load the trailer if I would pay them separately. We agreed on $150.00 and my wife went to ATM and withdrew $160.00 and gave whole amount to Andreus making payment of $40 to each member of crew.
At approximately 5:15 we all left to make our way to Princeton about 30 minutes away. When I arrived both moving truck and wife were present but there was no activity. Andreus approached me and stated, "We cannot start unloading truck until we get payment for outstanding balance." I said "no problem" since I knew we owed $1000 more. I took out my card and asked him "how much" and replied "$2, 016.00". I said, "No, it should be $1, 000". He tried to call 'Boss' and when he got 'Jim' on the line I spoke with Jim. He said, "Bubba, my crew was having to assist you with loading U-Haul trailer and we have to pay them (or words to that effect)". I verbally hoisted the BS flag and told Jim, "I paid these guys separately $160 to assist me and his reply, in so many words, were, "if you want truck unloaded you have to pay". I wanted to speak to our sales rep Richard but was told he was, "On the road with a 'load' to (somewhere) and would not be available for several hours. ( My wife called Richard several times and left voice mail and as of today, 22 June have not heard a word). I acquiesced, paid the SOB and work resumed.
After trailer was unloaded I left premises for trip back to home in Tom Bean for 2nd load and returned to Princeton around 8:30 PM. Unloaded HHG and made 3rd and subsequently round-trip to Tom Bean, returning to Princeton 11:30 PM.
In summary, All My Sons business model is based on deception, dishonesty, manipulation, and extortion. Richard knew he was under-estimating home inventory knowing full-well two trips and added charges would be required. Even the crew commented, "This happens all the time" and " ..we do not agree with how things are done" and "Richard is the worst Estimator". By the way, I will add, there is no way Richard was driving a load anywhere. He is Sales and not a worker. This company takes full advantage of families knowing full-well they will pay due to already burdensome high stress levels usually accompanying a move such as the one we just had. This company should be avoided at all costs. To contract with All My Sons is like signing a contract with the Mob or even worse, Satan himself. All My Sons management should be extremely ashamed of themselves for their behavior. I am sure 'management' will say, "We are extremely sympathetic to your plight and we will look into this issue and get back with you soon" or maybe I will not hear a word from them. For this to be going on at the 'deck-plate and mid-management level' is a direct reflection on all of upper-management and ownership.

All My Sons Moving & Storage local move - 2 for the price of 3

Crew arrived on time. 3-man crew and a 26-ft. truck. The 3rd man is apparently only the driver and paperwork guy for the most part though its advertised that its 3 movers. The driver first made a point of saying "he was tipped so well from a fellow coworker"., Then the driver said that we are essentially estimated at 4 hours but if I'd like to work something out between him, he'd be happy to oblige so I wouldn't have to pay so much. They failed to pack everything from the initial house that was pack able by leaving some stuff in the garage and the kids bikes, and bar stools, lamps, a closet of packed boxes, etc. I was told by the driver they were out of space in the 26-foot truck, but they didn't pack anything into the last 8 feet. I was told this was because of the stack of packing blankets since I didn't have any furniture they couldn't use them and therefore couldn't pack around them. Anyway, it took them almost 3 hours to load. Granted, it was only 2 guys loading. The 3rd guy is the driver that I had to do the walk through with and told him what all needed to go. But he wasn't inside directing what needed to go.
When we got to the other house 11 minutes away I had a friend follow them b/c I couldn't leave quite yet. I gave her a list to tell them where to put the first few things. Anyway, when I got there the driver said I had an hour left and that if I'd just let them unload it all in one place it wouldn't go over my hour by much. Needless to say, it took 2 hours to unload. Ridiculous period! Some stuff was supposed to go directly to garage and then I agreed to the main floor from the front door for everything else and that I'd take whatever upstairs. The driver would stand at the front door while the other two guys were unloading. He would then pile 4 bins onto a 4-wheeler and roll them to the main room. He'd started by just unloading them all into the center of the room instead of stacking them neatly around the walls. so, I started sorting them into neat piles so that the dining table could come in and other bins that I knew were on their way. If the driver didn't need to pee or be so dramatic about dying of thirst (like my 6-year-old), he might have actually been a help. But he was slow and useless. I finally started separating the 4 bins he would stack and tell him to take all the clothes to the master bedroom, between the front door and living room. But he would still wheel all the way to the living room. The other 2 guys started carrying in bins directly and he told them to stop and stack them on the little dolly. It took FOREVER. needless to say, I started asking where some items were and they either couldn't tell me, or they'd wound up in the garage when I clearly directed they be inside. or I found out they'd toss them to the side in the garage at the other house. Oh, and in the process of the driver stacking his 4-wheeler with boxes and bins, he would drop boxes. And when he would carry one box in, he would toss it down. (Assuming b/c it's fairly light that it's not breakable I guess. I don't know what was going through his head but I felt bad for the other 2. The driver asked about an item I had and I said I would sell it for $150, and he said "That's all I make in a day, so I can't afford that, but the other guys only make $10 an hour, so they're worse off." Well, I tipped the two guys $25 each and gave the driver $5. I told the other two that if they chose to share it was up to them. I called back the company and gave them my honest review since the first call from them was while I was still signing paperwork. I told him I paid for 3 movers, not 2 and a supervisor. I felt cheated since nothing really got moved to where it should have even with the extra hour at $145 per hour. So far only one box of dropped antique bottles has been found to be broken. If I had to use this company again, I would recommend the 2 who earned their money, but I' don't think I will use them again. This was a test for a cross country move I need done and unfortunately the driver and over payment left a bad taste. The folks at the office were very nice and made me think I was going to have an awesome experience, but again I'm hiring "Professional movers that couldn't play Tetris if their life depended on it". The experienced and hardworking guys were in the "worker role". The tired and complaining guy was the driver/director.
