UNFAIR HIRING AND BUSINESS PRACTICES
I READ AN AD ON CRAINGSLIST ON JAN 2 FOR SERVERS FOR A NEW PUB THAT WOULD BE OPENING IN THE NEXT WEED. I WENT IN ON THE 5TH OF JAN AND FILLED OUT AN APPLICATION, THEN HAD A 15 MIN INTERVIEW WITH JOHN GRAHAM. THE INTERVIEW WENT GREAT AND HE CALLED ME ON THE NEXT FRI AND ASKED IF I COULD COME FOR A 2ND INTERVIEW ON MON AND I SAID I WOULD. HE THEN ASKED ME OUT FOR DRINKS OVER THE WEEKEND, I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO SAY BUT I WAS POLITE BUT VERY VAGUE. WHEN I WENT IN FOR 2ND INTERVIEW HE TOLD ME I WAS HIRED AND TO COME FOR TRAINING THAT WED. ON WED HE CALLEED AND SAID THAT TRAINING WAS PUSHED BACK FOR A COUPLE WEEKS BECAUSE THEY DIDNT PASS THEIR INSPECTION WITH THE BOARD OF HEALTHL. THEY WERE HAVING A PRIVATE PARTY FOR THE PLAYOFFS AND I AGREED TO WORK THE PARTY FOR THEM. I WAS NOT GIVEN A COMPUTER CODE, NOR DID I CLOCK ON, OR CLAIM TIPS, ETC. AT THAT TIME I WAS TOLD THE PLACE WOULD OPEN FOR SUPER BOWL. AS THAT DAY HAS DRAWN CLOSER I HAVE CALLED SEV TIMES TO CHECK ON THINGS AND WAS JUST KINDA BLOWN OFF. WHY WOULD THEY LET ME SIT AROUND FOR ALMOST 3 WEEKS THINKING I HAD A JOB. I WASNT LOOKING FOR ANYTHING BECAUSE I THOUGHT I HAD A JOB. I WAS TOLD TODAY THAT I DONT. THESE PEOPLE MUST NOT GET THAT I HAVE 3 CHILDREN AND WOULD NEVER SIT AROUND AND NOT LOOK FOR WORK FOR 3 WEEKS. THEY HAVE PUT ME IN SUCH A FINANCIAL BIND. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE? HOW IS IT FAIR. IS IT LEGAL? I FILLED OUT W2'S? AND AT THAT PRIVATE PARTY HE ASKED ME OUT FOR DRINKS AGAIN? IS THAT SEXUAL HARRASSMENT? CAN I SUE"?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Having gone to the Clubhouse now for close to a year and having met Steve and Amy, we'reshocked to see such a post. They are some of the most kind and generous people we've met. They serve their clients well and we are happy to have them as a neighorhood restaurant/bar with no smoking. It's sad that the situation happened to you and wish you well but believe in them as well. There is always two sides to a story.
Having known Steve Graham for over 25 years and having done business with him several times on very large projects, I can assure you of his integrity and honesty. I also know about bitter ex-employees that suck the life out of businesses and the people that rely on those businesses to live. Dr. Amy Graham is of the highest quality of character out there. I will not have their name dragged through the mud. I encourage you to go into any of Steve's projects and just look around and feel the atmosphere. It is his spirit that makes those fantastic restaurants acheive their greatness.

They are Unfair and Crooked .. They did not pay any of their employees for 2 and a half months .. Steve Graham is a lie and a cheat, and his so called wife is just as bad and a horrible Liar.. They Lie, they Cheat, and they steal from themselves and their employees the worst people in Indy you could work for.. just ask the 5 people that quit in one month I hope they loose their liscense and business.. To bigger and better things I hope everyone reads this they stink like a barn.
Having met the gang at All American Clubhouse I find it hard to believe your posting. None of the other employees or applicants were treated in the manner that you claim. Perhaps you just were not a good fit for each other. It is a fire at will state thank goodness.
Yes unfortunately Blessedone is right. You need to try and omit any names from postings like that. It doesn't sound like you have money for an attorney if they were to sue you.
Actually Its sad but they might be able to sue you at this point. Be very careful what you say when you name an individual by name and accuse them of a crime. You might think about deleting it. It sounds like you will get a break soon and should maybe just forget about them and have positive energy which will undoubtedly pay off with blessings for you and your children, God Bless and good luck
