Like others have said, the main guy gave me a very low quote in comparison. He came to see the amount of stuff I had and increased the amount by $200, which was reasonable. He gave me dates and confirmed everything was good to go. The payments were made by e-transfer which he said wasn't a problem.

Then, when I'd already booked my tickets and was confirming everything was on schedule, he completely changed the dates and made it seem like it was my fault even though he had confirmed everything on his end.

On the day of the move, he came and increased the amount again, despite him previously seeing how much furniture I had and despite there being less boxes than what we had discussed. He was rude and argumentative and kept playing the card that since we were both brown people, I should understand. He also insisted that I pay cash despite paying by e-transfer earlier so I went out of my way to get as much cash as possible to make the payment.

Once we reached my destination, he was over an hour late. The person he had helping unload furniture was clearly on drugs or having a trip. He was talking to himself, started dancing in the middle of unloading boxes. He once again insisted that I pay cash but I'd left my debit card back home so couldn't. I transferred the money, and then some, in front of him and showed him proof on my banking app. He refused to unload furniture until he got the deposit as if I can control how quickly Scotiabank operates. Then, on top of that, he started yelling at me because I'd caused confusion (for booking my tickets based on dates he'd given me) and for not asking him how his journey was or offering water (the glasses were in the boxes he was refusing to unload).

This has, by far, been the worst experience in my life. I've never felt so disrespected or scared in my own home, not to mention taken for granted. I feel genuinely afraid that he knows where I live. I wish I'd seen these reviews before booking his services.

Okay this scam moving company works this way. First when you contact the main guy ali he will ask you the move distance and the stuff that needs to be moved and then without even bothering to check the amount of moving stuff based on distance or random calculations he will give you the lowest quote. He books more than he can take and give random quotes and on the day of move he will do the move which he finds more beneficial and for the rest of booking or promises he made will make straight excuses or wont show up. I booked him for a long distance move and he called me and gave me lowest price quote and assured me that he is more experienced and is in need of a moving load and he has handled long distance move for 15 years. On the day of the move he showed up and said that this is a big move and impossible for him even though I sent him the list of stuff that needs to moved in advance which he don't bother checking as he books more than he can take. Stay away from this guy
