Alabama Department Of Labor Deducting fed and state tax garnishment

According to al. Unemployment I received a check for 370 after I went back to work. I disputed it but of course I cannot prove I did Not receive it so al. Unemployment took 387 from Federal and 441 from state. According to Thomas at all. Unemployment they take it from both because some people don't get enough refund from on or the other. They also say it could be up to 6 mos before they return my money. So al. Unemployment collects an annormous amount of interest on peoples money they are holding that doesn't belong to them. I will take this as far federal as I can go along with involving media. This is unjust, illegal and just plain theft of funds.

Alabama Department Of Labor Unemployment benefits STILL NOT RECEIVED

My name is Marsha D. Brown and I lost my job due to the April 27 tornadoes and have yet to receive my unemployment benefits. I have been calling the [protected] number trying to reach someone to tell them that I still have not received my card that my benefits are supposed to be added to. And the line is always busy and then they leave for the day at 4:30. There is NO physical address for me to go to. This is ridiculous and just plain WRONG. I am a victim! I was a ffected by the tornadoes and I can't even get help! I just want to know where is the card and my benefits

I filed my unemployment on February 2nd when I was laid off due to work force reduction and still have not received payment and it is now April 18th due to needing employer verfication. I have never had to file for assistance amd now that I need it, it is taking a very long time.

Someone needs to get involved with the pending claims and how they are handled.. Pending claim for over 6 months. Scheduled call backs never received… How can I get this resolved no reason that pending claim should be pending for this long!

I applied for unemployment benefits on August 15th and still awaiting an investigation to be completed from my last employer. I worked there for a year and provided pay statements as requested. It has been two months of no income as I continue to seek employment. This is ridiculous.
