I'm facing the worst (yes it is worst) customer care service from airtel since the last 2 months (the day I converted my number to post paid).
Firstly, I'm getting 100's of messages in a day (Just imagine 100!) from an airtel number 543210.
The SMS service is about cricket alerts.
I've been contacting customer care since then, initially they were not sure why is this service activated. They gave me the reason I subscribed for it. When I said no, I've never subscribed for this service, they told me the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs, but its not.
I called up customer care innumerable number of times & every time I got exactly the same response that "the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs". Its more than 2 months now, they cant stop sending spam to me.
Imagine, they barr your outgoing calls the moment it exceeds its limit. But, dont know why they are so much reluctant to block this spam.
The worst part is the service provider itself is sending spam. What more to expect.

The current scenario, whenever I'm dialing airtel 121 the only option that I have (no matter what option I choose) is to send a SMS to 121.

its fair airtel is using there existing coustomer's accounts to fulfill there 3nd quarter losses and tariff war with other companies. om also facing the same problem of changing my plan without my consent.

i have been charged for jokes, hello tunes services widout out my concent. they hv simply sent a msg intimating me that i have subscribed the same and they activated the services and i will b charged... now when i called up customer care they respond like its mandatory, i went on some detail pertaining to this unwanted service activity and that cust. rep hang up the call on my face.

is there anybody to resolv all this crap?

Dear sir, iam working in INDIAN COAST GUARD, MINISTERY OF DEFENCE, HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED FROM PORTBLAIR TO CHENNAI AM POSTED AT AIR PORT THAMBRAM AM A CUSTOMER LAST 05 YEARS, PRSENTELY AM HAVING 05 CONNECTION WITH CUG SYSTEM BUT BILL PAYMENT IS VERY POOR RESPONSE TODAY 21 OCT I WENT SHOP FOR (I) POST PAY BILL BUT NOBODY ECEPTING THE BILL PAYMENT DUE THAT MY NUMBER DISCONNECTED (II) WHEN I REQUEST UR DEALERS THEY ASK ME TO PAY COMMISSIONED FOR rS 20 FOR 1000 /= THEN I PAID COMMISSIONED AND THENY I PAID MY BILL THIS SVC IS VERY POOR SVC PART

IT REQUSTED THAT PLESE UR DEALER SHUOLD TAKE THE BILL PAYMENT WITHOUT COMMISSIONED

You don't get to stop paying your bill just because you don't like something that happened.

You were advised what steps to take to resolve the problem but did nothing on your end to fix this. What exactly did you think would happen and why do you now think that you deserve concessions or special treatment? You owe the company money and it is your responsibility to pay it. If you had paid your debts then there would have been no need to call anyone so the fact that your parents were called is your own fault.

Holding the company hostage to your refusal to pay is just makes you look unreasonable and gives them no reason to want to work with you at all. A professional company does not bribe their customers to make them pay their bills. Since you are no longer a customer but a person with a debt you refuse to pay it is ridiculous that you should expect special treatment

Dear sir
I am using your air tell connection from last few years so please take this request and do the need full at the earliest.

A. I have not received bill last month and I come to know that amount by customer care, and I informed them also that the bill amount is high I am not using that much. And no other person using my phone.
B. This month also, SMS from 121 I come to know the amount its also heavy,
C. So I am interested to continue in this post paid connection in further days, you please take this as a request and migrate my account from post paid to prepaid at the earliest. After deducting my security amount I am going to pay the reaming amount.
Because of the recession I lost my job you kindly understand the problem and do the need full next day, I want to continue in your network but not as postpaid in prepaid.

Please do it earliest.

airtel sucks. big time. they are cheating making money like this! how sad. they don;t provide an intuitive way for customers to start and/or stop the daily alerts. is nobody at airtel looking at this forum. or they don't care?!

The most FRAUD COMPANY that do the BACKSTABBS with very much Eexpertisation...They will give you schemes of reducing your call rates and after that they will deduct hundreds of rupees to balance their service charges provided to you...My number [protected], they have deducted unnecessary balance of rupees 179 in the last three days and nobody knows how long will it be happening...SENIOR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE says" AGAR ROZ BALANCE DEDUCT HOTA HAI TO AAP RECHARGE NA KARVAO..PAISE TO VAPIS NAI HONGE" What an IRRESPONSIBLE answer from such a High Post Desk...If your r a prepaid airtel customer, then QUIT AIRTEL, else next you can be CHEATED...

Sir, i need one eassy recharge connection but the sales reprenstative of this area is not co operating with me. From last one month he is cominig to my nearest shop but because of his influnce he is not giving me the connection, on the other hand not suggesting me what to do, always try to ignore . If this is the behaviour then i m very very sorry, about the future of the company. I got tired of doing everything to get a connection .

christ! itz d same with me as well...this airtel customer care executives are a bunch of ###s...especially d onez in guwahati! i have been having this balance deductions for absolutely no reason for quite some tym...n everytime i call up the executives, they flatly deny...n accuse me of downloading the games and god knows what crap! itz driving me nuts...maybe d only solution is to change d number! airtel has gone down d drain!

i am not downloading single thing from http://igmobi.com but you are reducing Rs.10 in every 4 /4 days from last three month i also called custumercare every time but they not deactiveted this services he also credited rupees 10 every time but i cant contact to the custumer today because of any other problem from airtel today morning at 11.38 am i got the sms from this site [from this number [protected] = thanks for using [stardust_pack, subscription] subscription on airtel wap.you, ve been charged rs 10. http://igmobi.com ]what can i do you tell me plz i am very disappointed from your airtel custumer service please DEACTIVATE it IMMEDIATELY my mobile number is [protected] and also credit my 10 rs which debited on 16 march 2017 @ 11.38 am please take a strike action and do as soon as possible thanking you before 17 march 2017 and also deactivate this services

I am Mahesh Verma, i had purchased an airtel numer in around 2017. . Mobile no: [protected] from akola(maharastra). I recharged the card to get 1 year validity. Now as the validity is over, I recharged the card again for lifetime . But even after recharging the card for lifetime, my registration of the number failed, and it got disconnected, when i called the AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE they said that had sent me an sms regarding the submission of my document.Now, the question here arises, after using my number for almost 1year, how can its registration fail due to non submission of proper documents.This is total absurd, now due to its deactivation i am facing a lot of problem, as I am a student in Melbourne Australia, and the number was in internatinal roaming, all of my relatives and friends contact me through that number.AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE people said they sent me an sms regarding the said issue, but there are no such msg in my inbox. Please kindly see to the matter, I am facing a lot of problem due to this. I know its easy for you people to disconnected our number without any information, but the pain and trouble we go through for your such act, who will be accountable for it? YOU...AIR TEL SERVICE PROVIDER..
You people better be organized and provide the service we pay you for or a day will come when your company might just be a HISTORY.
DO look into my matter, don't offend and harass your customer like this, be loyal to the customer, if you want your customer to be loyal with you to.

I recharged the card to get 1 year validity.But the number was not activated on time, I had to leave for Australia then so could not do the needful then, now when i have reached india, i see its still not activated. I would like u to activate my number as soon as possible, ill submitt my documents again tomorrow. It would be of great help.

Last week I had gone for a top up for Rs. 301 and there was also full talk time and as per the scheme it was also the last date and on that date there was some tower problem and they promised to do on the same day. This was in a place called LASER VALLEY in Chennai T.Nagar. They even said that there will be a confirmation. But the TOPUP was done the next day but I was surprised to see that full talk time was not credited, and when contacted the laser valley there was first no proper answer and also they were saying that since it was done the next day the deductions have taken place.
They do not even have the decency to express that WORST SERVICE in that place and very very poor response from AIRTEL.
