Air Arabia tanger ibn battouta airport

On a return flight from Tanger Ibn Battouta Airport on 23/10/2018, I experienced a disgusting attitude from an Air Arabia representative who was 'supervising' baggage check in agents. This man identified as 'Samir Miftah' was inspecting individuals hand baggage, enforcing aggressive behavior as he was preying on passengers with no remorse with regards to negligible excess baggage weight.
He insisted that anything between 2 and 3 kilograms went over the 10kg baggage allowance was liable for a significant penalty charge.
Following arguments with customers who were sent across the airport grounds and forced to pay at the cash payment desk causing great delays and inconvenience to all passengers before rejoining the queue to receive their boarding passes.
When I approached check-in he was in between desks and watching over his colleague instructing him to to refuse my boarding pass as he claimed the dimensions of my cabin sized case exceeded the stated allowance so was unacceptable for carriage, despite the same case having been approved by his colleagues on previous flights.
He was adamant that I pay him a fixed penalty charge of 500 MAD to cover the costs of my case for having an additional 2cm over the permitted width!
I have used Air Arabia to travel for many years and never experienced such unethical, appalling service until today.
Following such bad experience of customer service, I will never use this airline again.

Air Arabia lost baggage

I took air Arabia G9 501 on 16 oct 22.20 hrs from sharjah UAE to colombo Sri Lanka. But my baggage was not there when I landed in Sri Lanka. As per baggage service in katunayake international airport the tag they have put on my bag is wrong and what they gave me as well. Anyway I had two baggages one small and one big I got only small bag. After passing almost a week they don't take any action for their mistake and I don't have my things what are in my lost baggage.please kindly put attention on this matter.

Air Arabia about access luggage

Dear Air Arabia..
Extremely bad service from the one of the staff of urs in Sharjah Airport.. he was extremely angry like he wanted to kill me, when i asked why is it being charged for duty free items without any further information.. I just badly hate air arabia for this kind of services.. We are paying for the services.. We r not traveling for free.. If u can't make customers happy you know what to do.. If u r onto only money ask customers to pay extra or ask Duty free not to sale more but don't put any passengers in Trap.. Will never ride air arabia in life and will say more than thousands of my contact to the behavior which i been gone through..

Air Arabia unfair service

This is the worst airline I've come across no after sales, non existent customer service called customer service spent ££ and asked to speak the a manager or supervisor I was told ‘no one is around'. Appalling! My flight left at 9pm I arrived at check-in at 8:11pm they would not let me board, the attendants and supervisor turned me way, they said ‘no!' we're closed we can't help you' unhelpful abrupt inconsiderate ‘supervisor' didn't even face me to talk to me blunt ‘no!' I was stranded at Gatwick with no means of getting back home and a ticket and money lost no one to complain to on a Saturday I was told ‘to wait until the following Tuesday and book antother ticket!' . I was hoping to visit family after many years I devastated all that money down the drain no help or assistance.

I would never recommend this airline to anyone. Pay more and use a reliable airline.

Air Arabia non provision of meals for my daughter and me upon change in date of travel pnr [protected]

Dear Sirs
I had booked the below eticket through our company Travel Agents for my daughter and me for our vacation from 05th july to 30th Aug 2018. Bahrain- Sharjah -Goa -Sharjah- Bahrain sector the ticket included meals on all 4 sectors for both my daughter and me.

However, due to some personal work related issues I changed the return date of travel Goa - Sharjah -Bahrain from 30th August 2018 to 08th Sept 2018 through our company Travel Agent office and was informed that every thing is the same i.e. including meals for both of us on both the sectors, i.e. Goa Sharjah and Sharjah - Bahrain.

During the flight on Goa - Sharjah sector the airline crew told me that our names are not listed, I showed the airline crew my ticket booking showing meals on the return sector, (see below attached eticket) and that I only changed the date of travel. The Airline crew only told me our names are not listed and just move on down the Isle.

My grievance is that even though I had paid for the meals (mu daughter and me) on the return sector when I booked the eticket I was not provided the same. The airline crew is putting the onus on the travel agent and the travel agent is putting the blame on Air Arabia " system" probably your reservation system. Please note that the meals for both were provided on Sharjah - Bahrain sector, so my question is if the system did not update the informations for Goa Sharjah sector, how come the system picked up that meals were booked for the Sharjah - Bahrain sector? Please explain

Kindly let me know whether I will be refunded the cost of the 2 meals on Goa - Sharjah sector as I was not provided the service.

I await you detailed explanatory reply as it has left me angry and embarrassed in front of my 7 year old daughter who I had told that our meals will be provided but it was not!

You will say that I could have bought /purchased the meals on the airline itself...BUT why should I pay AirArabia twice for the same ... I spent BD 10 for snacks at the Sharjah Airport which we had to consume quickly as transit passengers are not allowed to carry food items through the security checks...

Air Arabia followed airline instructions a week, then 24 hrs, then 12 hrs in advance. still no seats, no baggage, no meals

This has got to be the worst airline to whom I have ever had the displeasure of throwing away my money. The website has never allowed the selection of baggage, seats and meals either the day the ticket was booked, 24 hours in advance of the flight, nor 12 hours in advance. The website shows error messages, then shows payment has gone through; it is completely contradictory. I have scoliosis and have to lean against something during flights (ie, a window); I have a severely restricted diet; and, most outrageous of all, I have baggage that needs to be checked in. What kind of business is this? The agent could do nothing and when I tried to submit a complaint she kept repeating the question "what exactly is your complaint?"

Air Arabia 0 baggage system is not suitable for india sector

Air Arabia office Staff from Calicut Mr. Sreejith is not supportive for his Passengers he is not listening any our request he is behaving like Robot I have very bad experience in Night time with my family on 25th August They said No Baggage can carry in the flight, we have obtained the Ticket on December 2017 through Skyhopper and that time there is no any Popup for Baggage as usual we collected the ticker.

We struggled lot in mid night at Calicut Air Port Counter.

Hence strongly recommend to my friends to all of them do not fly with Air Arabia.

I don't have any money with me to buy any items due the issues I have paid Rs. 5090 in Airport Air Arabia office - and My kids are very hungry and No water supplied and food supplied as usual same other Flights (Air India or Express) Usually … Therfore I don't think next on words fly with Air Arabia my colleagues or our Association Members or any Friends…

Air Arabia online tickets sale

On August 9th I have purchased a one way ticket to Corsicana TX, USA departure from Milan Bergamo on August 29th. The offer was advertised on skyscanner.com and I was redirected from there to both Opodo and Ed reams. From there I was then further redirected to airarabia' website where I completed my reservation and checked out. The payment was accepted and I received the confirmation and itinerary from the company via email.
When opened the itinerary I realized that Corsicana wasn't the final destination of my journey as intended. I spent the next few days trying to contact airarabia and only yesterday I was given a working number (all other numbers were no active, even those on the reservation sheet and itinerary received). I told the operator who answered the +[protected] that I do have Alexandria on my itinerary as a stopover but that then there is something about a bus stop to Cairo-Remaya bus service and nothing else on Corsicana. I show them the many
screenshots taken from the edreams and Opodo and skyscanner.com
website whilst purchasing the ticket and told him that I was redirected to their website where an error was made by their
system since my final destination should have been Corsicana, TX, USA. The plane codes are the same but I do not have Corsicana on the one ticket sent to me.
I stressed upon the fact that I had completed on their website the purchase of one air ticket for a non-direct flight to
Corsicana, Texas, United States departure on August 29th 15:00 from Milano Bergamo with stoppover-connection in Egypt and I did not receive a ticket for it yet but just half of the journey intended. I also told the customer service at the airport in Milan that the [protected] number that I had called a dozen times in the last 6 days never provided any help whatsoever (note: the operator told me that I had reached AirArabia Marocco and not Egypt and didn`t want to help nor give me a different contact information to call).
He answered that airarabia does not fly to the US and told me they would look into the matter.
Now, here are the final facts.
The ticket was purchased on airarabia website. The dates and flight numbers and destination coincided when placing
my order on Airarabia.com with those selected on skyscanner reproducing, at the time of the purchase, a
journey from Milan Bergamo Orio airport to Corsicana, TX USA on the
29th of August 2018.
Even today there are still offers on several websites bearing airarabia's
logo, flight numbers and airport codes to Corsicana, Texas on that day on
several online ticket agencies and services such as Skyscanner, Opodo
and Edreams.
I have purchased the ticket and received half of the journey I had paid for.
I have made 1200$ in further reservations according to the journey programmed that I now have lost.
Airarabia has failed so far in providing a solution for the error made.
Only a few days are left before the 29th and I see no solution to the problem.
Would greatly appreciate your help in this matter.

Air Arabia service

Dear sir,

I am getting in touch in regards to the flight reference number: [protected]

I booked the flight on 5th of July for both my son and my daughter. I accidentally put the wrong first name of my son. The date of birth and passport number were correct. I contacted your customer service desk and tried to explain the situation. I was told that I will receive an email and I would need to provide evidence. I did as I was instructed and provided what needed. I was contacted by email asking to contact the call centre. When I called I had to wait for ages before I was able to speak to an agent. I requested to speak in English and when the agent picked up, I wasted lots of time waiting and also trying to explain due to the agent not being able to understand. I was really disappointed with the time wasted on the phone and with the cost of my bill when arrived. The conversation with Air Arabia cost me over 40 pounds! In addition to this, I was asked to pay a fee to correct the mistake.
I would like to know why this airline could not allow me to modify or correct the mistake online. Why did it take time for the agent to pick up and have a very slow customer service?

Unfortunately the service I received put me off of booking with your airline. Your so called 'service' is an absolute rip off. I will make a formal complaint to the civil air aviation and will send my case to the BBC watch dog if my case is not solved. You can't expect the public to pay tens of pound for a few minutes worth of conversation, followed by an additional fee for simply correcting a minor error.

I am happy to share my phone bill with you to see how much I had to pay. I am therefore asking for compensation about the cost and the very bad and slow customer service.

Today around 00.01 I got a message in
My mobile that 1215 aed deducted from my credit card.. By airarabia. But I didn't use my card for any purchase recently either air arabia or anywhere.
I want to know what exactly happened and who used my card details. I notified this issue to my bank same time.

Air Arabia payment and service

Our flight was Jeddah, Saudia Arabia - stopover at Sharjah, UAE - Tbilisi, Georgia then vice versa. From July [protected]
On our flight going to Tbilisi, we were required to pay for travel insurances since we only have worldwide medical insurance. They offered us one for only less than 200SR for the three of us. (My mother, father, and me) we didn't have any problems until going back to jeddah,

Our flight was on July 14, 2018 - Saturday at 2:45 AM.
We were at the counter were the person in front was telling us to give her our tickets when we already gave her everything we have. Receipt, Itinerary, PNR, and all but she cannot find us in the system so her colleague took us with her and said that we weren't FULLY PAID for the travel insurances we bought at the airport. But the thing is - we weren't aware of this. It was unexpected and no one told us about this. We weren't given the second boarding pass that's going to Jeddah from Sharjah, so we had to fall in line at the transfer's desk for 30 mins. We had to run because we were on FINAL CALL already and the counters were really slow. We had the worst flight experience ever. We were so tired, stressed, and the sudden charge that took our money away.

I want to request a refund for the payment we had to pay just so we can go back to Jeddah. We were told that we will only pay a certain amount yet we were charged twice since they said it's only one way. WE DID NOT ASK FOR IT. The staff should've warned us about this so instead of buying one at your airlines, we would but at another one. Any other resolutions would be accommodated.

Air Arabia denied boarding because they put my first name on my ticket twice

On Saturday July 7th I booked a flight with Air Arabia from Lyon to Casablanca and when I received the itinerary I noticed that my first name was on the ticket twice. I called them the same day. The first agent I talked to hung up on me, the second one told me it would cost me 40€ and that they will send me an email with the instructions on how to pay the fee. By Sunday no email so I called several times. I was asked to send a copy of my passport and I sent the same email 7 times before they "received " it. I was then told on Monday that the correction will be made and to wait for a email that I still didn't receive by the way. I called again and mind you that each call lasted a minimum of 15 minutes at 40 cents per minute.
The day of my flight Wednesday July 12th I get to the airport and I was refused boarding because they couldn't change my first name to my last and I can't travel with two first name. The email that I received with the itinerary was addressed to me by my proper name but not the ticket.
I didn't get to fly to my niece's wedding and they refuse to refund my money.
The call center agents in Casablanca are incompetent and rude and barely speak French or English.
STAY AWAY FROM AIR ARABIA! THEY ARE A BIG FRAUD AND THEY ARE THIEVES!

Air Arabia counter supervisor attitude

PNR [protected] flight G9163

Actually this is the third time I make this complaint to AirArabia with no any response. This`s an official complaint against the counter supervisor-Indian agent to be specific- for subject flight from Sharjah to Dammam PNR [protected] flight G9163 who has delayed my wife and kids on purpose and was so arrogant and insisted to check each passport visa while they were transit. When my wife told him that they are transit and even though have enough remaining time - 20 days approx. in the return visa - he kept them waiting on purpose till he finished a very long line. This is nonsense and a zero knowledge of Customer Care and I 'm not planning to let this pass easily. Waiting for your response and consider this a final complaint

Air Arabia flight delay

My delayed flight is e5 316 from dammam to borg el arab. We haven't been notified that there will be a delay through msg or email. We knew from the screens in the airport that it will be delayed for 4 hours and 20 minutes, then after couple of hours we found out from the screens again that it is delayed again for one more hour, with no one from the company to reply to our inquiries except for two employees from the airport.

Air Arabia hotel reference number:[protected]

I am complaining about the poor quality of service, very dirty hotel, no food for breakfast and blocking of the entrance drive. Our holiday was ruined and and I am claiming a fully refund plus compensation.

On our arrival on 14 June we went to our room and immediately notice the size differential of the rooms, poor state of the bathroom and the bath towels. A room change was offered and accepted but this took hours to be sorted and yet again the bathroom had mould, bad coloured towels and no bath mats.

For breakfast throughout our stay there was no fruits, cutlery was very dirty, bread, pastries and salad not fresh. The toilet next the the dinning room was blocked with used used tissue piled high in a bin that hasn't been emptied. We arrived in the dinning room before 8am on 17 June and by then all the food for breakfast had been eaten and all that was left was piles of dirty tables.

There was no manager available to deal with our complaints and the staff on duty didn't have a clue what to do so we had to leave with no breakfast to catch our flight.

This hotel is not a four star due to the outdated decoration, filthy conditions, poor customers service. Each morning I wasn't able to drive my car through the entrance drive way because it was blocked by another car so I had to reverse at the roundabout which was very dangerous.

Your employee Azma Rajput ( Air Arabia- Sharjah, Ground Staff), mobile number +[protected] has been threatening me and sending messages full of profanity . Such employee should be terminated with immediate effect considering the level of indecency towards any citizen.

Please address my complaint as soon as possible and take necessary action towards her. Please hire a right candidate who could maintain the reputation of Air Arabia Airlines. I will also share the text sent by her on Social media to acquaint passengers from your disgusting employees.

Air Arabia refund

My father passed away on the 10th of March, he had a booked a package earlier on Air Arabia website which included a flight (IST-DXB and return) and a hotel reservation. This booking was on the same day he passed away and on the next day I contacted the office in Turkey and they asked me to send them the death certificate which I did. Later they sent me an email stating they can't help since it's a package and I should contact the packages department. After contacting the packages department they said they can't help and they referred me to the customer service which I have been in contact with till this day 12th June. I am really frustrated by this unprofessional behavior which I did not expect from Air Arabia.

Kindly find attached the death certificate in both languages Turkish and Arabic.

Air Arabia 2 issues: (1) no redress for mistake; (2) rude response from call agent

Greetings. This is Dr. Daniel Brian Murteza. I am very disappointed and feel that Air Arabia management needs to know the following:

1. My booking reference was [protected], DMM-SHJ, June 13. G9164.

2. I tried to find out how to get a refund or credit, but somehow clicked on the wrong place and cancelled the flight and my lost my leg of the ticket DMM - SHJ.

3. I called the Call Center. I explained, and asked for a supervise who might be able to help. The call center male was very rude and not helpful at all.in fact, he told me "You are the one who cancelled it, not me... so you lost everything." I am a professor of management and business, and if I had a student like that, or if I were his boss, he would be fired immediately. Unfortunately, I did not get his name, because I was so upset (fasting in Ramadan, so I just hung up the phone.) However, you can investigate the call which was placed to the Call Center in SHJ at about 6:40 pm (18:40) on June 8, 2018.

4. This Call Center person should be reprimanded.

5. What can you do to help me get my flight back, DMM-SHJ?

6. As you already know, you site is set up kind of tricky — boxes are already clicked on extras like for the insurance. If someone is not internet savvy, he will just keep going to the payment and not realize that an extra charge is there. Other airlines sites do not do that... Air Arabia is a good airline... why do you have to make this nefarious action (box already checked)? It happened to me one time, and I felt violated (as if someone stuck his hand into my pocket and picked my pocket on the street). Shameful.

7. Anyway, I hope you can re-instate my leg of the trip DMM-SHJ.
