African Bank Loan

I have a loan with African bank and I cancelled cell phone for R2700 they promise to send me a refund massage. Until now I'm waiting. I try to call them all call are they don't even call me back. I don't know what can I do Couse my statement is not change I'm still owing them R 13000 instead of R10200. Please help me this think is not good I think you avoiding me

African Bank Account paid up but not updated

I paid this account in march 2021, still reflecting on the bureaus as unpaid and in arrears? I sent emails to get this resolved and its now August still not resolved?
this is very upsetting as its still affecting my credit score negatively and will be checking with new POPIA if you are able to put my details as such on these platforms when they are incorrect

Desired outcome: reflect as paid up with amount due as nil and close the account, asap

African Bank Harassment

4 months ago I applied for debt review and applied with debt rescue. African bank has bee calling me 6 to 7 times a day harassing me for payment even though i am under debt review. Their staff members are rude and refuse to listen to what i have to say.

African Bank settled account

I opened an account in 2012, I was unable to settle the account because I lost my job at the time. my account was then handed over to a 3rd party 2016, I settled the account with the 3rd party but still African bank is showing on my ITC as open and shows I have not settled ... Someone please advise what is going on?

African Bank Unprofessional

Please I have asked for a lone, I can get 125000 loan from Nedbank but African bank decline me, but every day you send me a per approval and I complete, I do not appreciate this kind of professional service from you, yes I have a credit score of 580 but I can assure you I know of so many people with less score than me and they can get loans, it is unfortunately for me how this system work in south Africa
I have 3 cars and I don't pay a cent
Medical free
Housing free
Travelling free
And I still have 22500
And you decline me, people that have nothing and earn 5000 is approved for a lone
I needed this money for a medical crisis, but I will find someone that will help me,
If you cannot please stop emailing me

African Bank Account on hold

My account was placed on hold on Saturday morning. Since then I have had no access to transact and needed to be able to do that on Saturday. I have been waiting for a call from them since then and cannot get any assistance by calling myself. The expectation that I should just sit around and wait for them when this is not an urgent matter on their side is frustrating. I have things oh hold now because of this.

Desired outcome: To get access to my money and close my transactional account

African Bank Credit card

On the 12th of December 2020 I applied for an African Bank credit card which was later approved on the 24th of December 2020. From the 24th of December to date (06 January 2021) I have been running and driving up and down (and endlessly calling branches and the African Bank customer service) as I am currently sitting with an issue as I cannot access funds due to a Credit Card that no branch can print out.

When I visit African Bank Branches and their consultants try to print out a Credit Card they receive an error that says "Credit Card cannot be printed, customer needs to accept Terms & Conditions".
Various consultants (from 4 different branches) have escalated tickets for me to the IT department however at this point the African Bank IT support is horrible failing to resolve this one issue as they constantly and continuously close tickets without resolving them.

I have waited various 48 hours yet this issue still stands and I cannot access funds.
Consultants have further even tried to open MyWorld account for me to transfer funds yet this process is also a dead end. Consultants have done everything in their power to assist but the rude and unmotivated Technical Team doesn't seem to care.

I could have seriously just went to a different bank and I would not be sitting with this issue. I have wasted my petrol several times driving to multiple branches, my airtime endlessly calling the Customer Service, and my energy trying to fight a battle that I cannot win.

Can you resolve this issue for me urgently or close your account completely since I am failing to get help.

African Bank debt review and telephone harassment

Good day

I have 15 calls on my phone in one day from African Bank.

I am under debt review at DebtBusters and they did not pay my credit card by mistake as the balance showed zero on their system.

I have paid them in full and also phoned them to ask why my credit card was not paid. They advised me that they will contact African Bank to explain the mistake from their side.

I told the lady from African Bank that she must stop harassing me. I've paid debt busters and she must phone Debt Busters as per the court order. They have been appointed to handle this and they are getting paid to deal with my credit providers. I advised her that I am under debt review but are still harassing me with 15 calls and sms messages to pay them.

I asked the lady to e-mail a statement but until date I have not received anything. I have requested the same on Monday 23 March 2020.

African Bank money being held back

My client went on Tuesday the 11th of February into an African Bank branch to deposit cash directly into my account. It's now the 14th already and the money still isn't showing in my account. The account number is correct. When I reported it to a consultant I was just told the money is in holding and can take up to 48 hours to be released. It's now way past 48 hours and I am losing business like this. I have contacted the consultant at the closest branch to me for an update and now I'm not getting any response..

African Bank customer care

I applied for a loan a consultant calls to say I should go to the nearest branch because I qualified for branch offers. First the consultant I spoke to at the branch made a nasty comment that I was fat according to my id. Then he had a problem with the way the consultant who captured my details it was incorrect then he had a problem with my employers name. I ignored all that till I received a sms stating I should submit documents I told the consultant I did that yesterday. I called the branch where I submitted my documents the consultant then said its out of her hands I should contact the people who is dealing with it. (still same company). I then called and the consultant says they did not receive it I should go back to the branch.. The whole point of doing it online cause I cant leave my job to go up and down I already did what was required. They then transferred me to another consultant which said I must remember im not the only one there is a high volume of applications. Not in a suttle manner I mean how many consultants is there I was told it was approved now the consultant tells me it was approved for the application and she does not know if it was received and she cannot transfer me to anyone cause there is no one according to this consultant. Please provide clarification as to where my documents are as this is an awful experience. Customer care not helpful its a disgrace to speak to a client in that manner.

I applied for a loan. Followed every step and procedure. They then sent me a message to say i should submit documents which i already did. I called into the branch. The consultants at the branch then said i should contact the people they contracted in or something. I called and they said they did not receive anything..the male consultant by the name of Mose Daniels who assisted me made nasty comments with the way i look according to my ID i got fat and asked what happened to that girl. Then he had a problem with my name stating that its spelled incorrect by the person who took my details, then he had a problem with my payslip and my employers name. I let that go but then this morning 2 consultant's i was in contact with gave me 2 different answers and mentioned im not the only one who applied. There are many applications but mine was received as of yet. I would like to know where my personal documents are and clarity because this disgusting behavior for staff who works in a customer care environment

I recently had an emergency withdrawal and asked if the consultant can close the account but none of that was done. I received an incorrect amount. I tried to call the head but no answer. You guys don't have good customer service

African Bank loan application

On the 28 November2019 I went to African Bank in Sebokeng at Thabong to apply for a personal loan. I received a good service unfortunately I had October pay slip, the lady who was assisting me asked me to bring November payslip. I told her I havent received it from my HR but il go and collect it to my HR offices.

On the 02 December 2019 I went to my HR offices to collect my November Payslip as my HR offices is based in Vanderbijlpark I decided to go to Vanderbjilpark African Bank Branch Vaal gate to apply for Loan. I was Served by lady not sure of her name Rosinah or Roseline... I applied and signed all the papers as she told me I Qualify for a loan and she asked me I prefere to receive my contract via email I said yes.

Since from 02 December 2019 till today I never received loan money from the bank and I signed everything. When I call at the branch Im told the lady who was assisting me shes on Sick leave and She freezed my application they cant have access to it. Its only her who can assist me. That time I have a funeral to arrange for saterday on the 7November2019.

Im so hurt and dissapointed by the treatment I received from the lady in Vanderbjilpark park branch what she did to me. I looked like a fool to my family, what is Hurting most I applied for a loan on time to prepare funeral arrangments but Rosina decided to freeze my application.

That the service I got from her. Even now im writting this complain im so hurt and embarrased because of her...

African Bank loan

I applied for a loan yestorday morning 9/11/2019 1st the lady whom helpt me was verry nice but she had to hold for IT department for just over an hour for them to pic up the phone 2nd my loan was approved and i signed all paper work and was informed after that african bank could possibly be offline today so my question is when do i get my money?

African Bank credit card

Could African Bank please stop harassing me.
I have an credit card with you, that is not in arrears or anything I pay promptly every month so there is no reason to phone me 7 times a day every month to confirm my details or next payment date...

I have mentioned this numerous times before to the consultant phoning me you are harassing me for an account that is up to date and no defaults... Do you make a habit of irritating your paying customers like this every month just to have an 20 minute conversation about your details and next payment date even thou it remains the same every single month...

If i receive one more call in 7:00 in the morning about this I will loose my sh...t with you people... since Monday I have recorded about 19 calls from you... as i refuse to pick up do this every single month...

STOP IT!

African Bank Balance

Took at loan then went to Nedbank for debt conciliation and they paid your balance but come month end you deduct your regular monthly fee. I enquire from your head office they tell me that Nedbank the balance that was on the system was not the accurate one and that the is an extra R2000 owed by me but you deducted R4000. Asked about that she told me that its possible and that you will refund after 3 months after seeing the error. In return I reversed the transaction
Want to know why would you have a different balance on your system than the actual balance. Just recently went to credit scoring and I was shocked to see that the principal loan amount and interest is what I'm still owing according to you guys on my profile. This is ridiculous

African Bank making it difficult for customers

I made an arrangement with african bank for something that was not my fault. They did not deduct at the beginning of january 2019 like the arrangement was from day one to deduct on the first of every month and so my money were spent. I went to african bank in the middelburg mall and made an arrangement for the skipped debit order to be paid in three months time. The consultant then had no problem helping me-who are honest enough to go to the bank and help them with their slip up. I just recieved a call from a consultant saying it doesn't work like that because I do not have the account for a long period of time and they will do a dubble deduction at the beginning of february 2019. I made arrangements on other personal stuff that must be paid for the next three months and did a lot of trouble to commit to my arrangement with african bank just so that they can call me and tell me my arrangement "doesn't work like that". Please check your call recordings african bank head office! And provide me with a solution because like a said in both call recordings. I can not afford a dubble deduction!

African Bank customer service

Good day,

I went to African bank branch in botshabelo complex, to renew my credit card, and I was assaulted by the consultant by the name of Isaac lefu. The guy was so rude and he even sware at me, for that matter I was not even helped by him.i was helped by the lady called lemodilo, she told me she is new at the branch I came with the settlement letter from fnb as a proof of address, she told me she is not sure weather this letter is gonna work, she asked that rude guy, the guy told me that this THING is not gonna work, then I asked him why because the letter is still valid, then he started shouting at me and swaring. I regreat the day I decided to do business with African bank. I love Africa bank so much, but that service I really don't appreciate it. I will never renew my card anymore, though I still love African bank, my heart is bleeding really, but I just have to let it go.

African Bank personal loan

I got a call from African Bank offering a loan on the phone I got approved I was told to go to the branch, I went to the branch which it was approved still at the branch I submitted everything, we signed everything (contract), I asked when I will receive the funds the lady was not sure. I followed up with the a phone call the next day since I was waiting for the funds I was then told that my application was "rejected" I don't know how because everything was signed at the branch. I'm desperately in need of the funds I got false hope from African Bank I'm not happy with the service I received from them.

I got a call from African Bank offering a loan, they made me an offer of which I needed to go to the branch. I went to the branch I was told I qualify for a loan I accepted and signed the contract, I asked when will the funds be available the lady was not sure. I followed up the next day by calling them only to be told they that my application was rejected, how is that possible? Everything was signed at the branch I was waiting for the funds to be transferred.

i did a online application and was approved for R 12 400. i was told to go to any branch in Cape Town and the consultant will finalize everything the same day.

got to the branch said i have a 10 am appointment. sat down gave all my docs that was needed just to say i wasn't approved.. i mean what crap is this... i took time of from work and this is the result you get..

poor service and lead client on...

African Bank loan

I received a call from African bank consultant telling me that i can go to any branch and apply for a R200 000 loan. i went to tembisa branch in tembisa Plaza as told, i gave them every doc they needed. after 3 days i call the branch and ask you is the R4900 not in to my account, i was told that. R400 that appears on my payslip made the rejection.

i told them that, that R400 is for my kid whom she is living with the mother. the reason why is requested the R400 to be deducted from my salary is because, at that time i was in financial dillema whereby when the 15th is on sunday, they money reflect on friday the 13th and when monday comes you find that my account has nothing. so for the sake of my daughter, i went to court in 2009 to avoid that.

I went to African branch to loan R14000 and the lady told me I qualify for R19000

And the following morning I went there
I found a man
He was so damn rude n he ended giving me R9000
And is not what I want because my roofing is R14000

African Bank identity theft

I lost an id on the 24th of april 2012 and repoterd it to braamfortein police station and also report to the safps, but I tried to go to the branch (african bank) three times in dobsonville and I could not find help every time I go there they told me they dont know how to help me I must call head office where they tell me to call safps can please someone help me, I did not take a loan with african bank at all

African Bank unfair blacklisting

My name is Roselyn Ralebofu, maiden name Mushi, the year 2014 was placed under administration and the year 2017 I came out of that administration via seshego district court in polokwane and some few weeks I realised African bank has also been placed me under administration so now I'm asking African bank to cancel my name from the administration, if African bank needs a proof to back my story I can definitely email the the letter
