We purchased a 4.1AE elliptical from Sports & Fitness Outlet on 6-17-12. The first time that we used it was on 6-22-12. the machine started to make a loud noise. I notified Sports & fitness on 6-24-12. They immediately notified the warranty dept for AFG and a repair person got back to me immediately. They came out on 7-11-12 and replaced a part, not the part that was making the noise. Now they want to replace the pedal axle and bearings. If the bearings were installed wrong at the factory how can they install them correctly in the field?? We requested a new elliptical from AFG and the customer rep told me that they won't replace the machine unless we have more service calls. My time must not be worth anything that I have o stay home each time they come out. This was a new machine that left the factory without any quality control checks. I would never buy anything from AFG again. I gave them notice to correct the problem to my satisfaction, but they chose not to care about the customer. This is not a complaint about Sports & Fitness outlet or Fitness Remedy the repair people that came out to repair the machine. This is a complaint about customer service and the quality of machine that AFG makes and won't stand behind.
